Episode 19 Perhaps, leaving is the best ending

How is he?

Brother Juechen has been poisoned.

- Poisoned? - Poisoned?

- I think... - Chen'er, Chen'er!

Chen'er, Chen'er.

What's wrong with Chen'er?

Madam, he seems to be poisoned.

Seems to be poisoned?

Gongshu Yu, did you do this?

Must you insist on eliminating the entire Mu family

before you are happy and give it a rest?

I didn't kill Old Master Mu and Mu Juece.

The real killer is...Shen Nantian.

I know you won't believe me but one day,

I will definitely find the concrete evidence.

Also, with my martial arts skills now,

it won't be a problem to kill anyone in Qianyun Mountain Pavilion.

Why would I use such a troublesome method to poison him?

That's right.

Are you threatening me?

Qian Xiao, Qian Zhan, Qian Ran.

I want you to take down this female demon.

Madam, we can get her but we definitely can't take her down.

Great. You are rebelling, right?

You are disrespecting me now?

Madam Mu, the top priority is to save Young Master.

Let's talk about our past grudges next time.

This Wu Qing, the Desperate Pharmacist. With him here,

Young Master Mu's poison can be dispelled.

If anything bad happens to Chen'er,

I will not rest till you are dead.

Su Xin, let's leave.

Yes.

Wu Qing, continue with what you were saying.

What Brother Juechen consumed, it wasn't the Nine Royal Pill.

If my guess is right,

he consumed the Five Poisons Pill.

Someone switched the pill?

It seems so.

I know who did it.

Yes, I admit.

I switched the pill.

Since you couldn't take actions, I did it for you.

Where's the antidote?

I don't have it.

Since I wanted to do it, I didn't leave any way out for me.

I'm telling you now.

My only limit is Mu Juechen

but you insist on challenging him.

Fine. I won't take our past friendship into consideration again.

Brother Shen, this is the last time I will call you this.

Starting from now,

our friendship has ended.

Stop deceiving yourself and others.

You are Youyou Valley's descendant and he's the descendant of Qianyun Mountain Pavilion.

You both have deep-seated hatred caused by blood debts which can't be reconciled. Understand!?

You are the one who don't understand!

The real killer is your father!

I knew this truth will hurt you.

Hence, I have never told you this.

But this is the truth.

It was your father who stole the second volume of the Heart Sutra

and the one who plotted against the Gongshu family behind the scene,

it was him too.

Qian Yu, you have really disappointed me.

There's nothing to say between us.

Wait.

Let me have the Nine Royal Pill.

Do you think Mu Juechen

can still really live?

Are you letting him leave that easily?

You are too soft-hearted.

People with nostalgia are easily hurt.

Go with me to the medicine room.

Qianyun Mountain Pavilion indeed has profound heritage.

They are able to gather all these rare herbs within a night.

I really have a new level of respect for them.

Wu Qing, tell me the truth. Can you guarantee this?

Of course. There isn't any poison in the kingdom

that I can't treat. But...

You don't need to worry about rewards. Qianyun Mountain Pavilion is rich.

What are you thinking?

I'm not a greedy person.

Just give me 5,000 taels when it's done.

But this is not for my own personal benefits.

- It's for those poor people who can't afford to see a physician... - Make it 1,000 taels.

- Start now. - What I wanted to say, is...

even if I can develop the antidote,

after Brother Juechen consumes the antidote, he needs to use his internal energy

to expel the poison.

But he has lost his internal energy now.

You don't need to worry about this. I will think of a solution.

Qian Zhan, Qian Xiao, Qian Ran.

The process of forcing out the poison will take a long time.

The three of you take turns outside to protect me.

Before Young Master regains consciousness, no one

is allowed to step into the room.

Did this female demon save me?

So to say, that Nine Poisons Pill was from Shen Mingxiu?

I already realized earlier that Sheng Mingxiu was playing games.

Blame the enemy for being too cunning.

If you knew earlier, why didn't you tell me?

- That's because... - We need to let Young Master know that

the Five Poisons Pill has nothing to do with Xiao Yu.

Not only this.

If Xiao Yu didn't spent her energy to force out the poison for three days and nights,

this Pig Trotter would never regain consciousness. Let me tell you this.

We should let Young Master apologzie to Xiao Yu.

Qian Xiao! Get someone to bring in a basin of water.

This female demon looks very kind when she's sleeping.

You regained your memories?

I have good memories. Why would I regain them?

Indeed, I thought too much into this.

So how? Is this sincere enough?

I have figured out the ins and outs

of this matter.

Hence, I confroted him.

Under my influence,

he felt ashamed.

He left this letter of thanks to you.

But I can tell that this handwriting is clearly yours.

Perhaps, he was subdued by my charisma

and deliberately imitated it.

Are you here to feed me this medicine?

Please continue.

Aren't you awake now? Besides, you have hands too. Drink it on your own.

I want you to feed me.

Okay.

This female demon's charm is indeed amazing.

I even agreed.

It's hot. I want you to blow on it.

Gave her an inch and she wants a mile now?

Forget it. Seeing that she saved me,

I will put up with this.

You still like me.

I have already re-refined the Nine Royal Pill that Shen Mingxiun replaced with another.

It's more potent than before. It will definitely reinstate Brother Juechen's memories.

I didn't expect you would be such an expert in refining medicines.

Seems like you went into the wrong line in the past.

I thought your skill in refining pills would be as bad as your assassination skill.

If you put it like this, it's not accurate.

I have first-rate assassination skill.

It's just that I'm easily moved by the the people I wanted to assassinate.

I finally understand why you and Mu Juechen get along well with each other.

Because Brother Juechen and I have sensitive souls

and a pure heart.

Xiao Yu, now that things have come to this,

it's also time for me to leave Qianyun Mountain Pavilion.

- Wait. - I know you can't bear to see me leave

but all good things must come to an end.

Even more so, there are still many people in dire straits and impoverished people waiting to be saved.

I merely wanted to ask,

how do I use this Nine Royal Pill?

By the way, I forgot. This illustrated book is for you.

There's even a manual for consuming pills?

You are very detailed.

The way to consume Nine Royal Pill is very unique.

You must follow the nine methods of consumption.

You need to follow the steps in there for Brother Juechen to consume the pill.

Leave this to me. Don't worry and have a safe trip.

There are nine methods for consumption?

It seems more difficult

than I thought.

Did Wu Qing give us the wrong manual?

Is this the illustrated guide for consumption of the medicine

or a pornographic manual?

It's correct. It's written here as

Manual for Consumption of Pills.

Young Master, you are a natural clothes hanger.

I already told you not to

make the bridegroom's outfit that magnificent.

My radiance shouldn't be outshined ny anything else.

But Gongshu Shu's bridal clothes

must be done properly.

Don't let her drag me down.

It doesn't seems to fit.

I should look for the seamstress to adjust this.

Xiao Yu.

What the heck is this?

Manual for Consumption of Pills?

I thought the female demon turned over a new leaf.

I didn't expect she would have such filthy thoughts.

This won't do. One can kill

but not humiliate.

[Double Happiness]

Hey.

That red silk,

move it slightly over there. That's right.

That light over there, did you see it?

My Chen'er, in the end,

you still didn't escape.

- move that stool over there... This female demon's evil clutch...

Okay, fine.

Madam.

Xiao Yu!

- Place that properly... - Bad news!

Young Master ran away from the wedding with Qian Zhan and Qian Xiao!

Only this letter was left behind.

What?

Female demon, you can kidnap my soul

but dream on about having my body.

Great, Mu Juechen.

My son is so smart.

Young Master, why are you running away from your wedding?

And break up the inseparable Legendary Three of Qianyun Mountain Pavilion

and abandoned Qian Ran?

Ever since this female demon arrived in Qianyun Mountain Pavilion,

she and Qian Ran have been inseparable.

Now that Qian Ran has become her confidant,

if we tell her our actions

and trail, she will definitely inform the female demon. Wait.

Wait. Who says I'm running away from the wedding?

If it's not so, why hide us so tightly?

I'm personally going to Jiangnan to inspect the people's livelihood.

As the Head of Martial Arts League, I'm known to everyone.

Isn't it because you are afraid of Xiao Yu?

Who says I'm afraid of her?

I'm taking my safety into account.

I can sacrifice my reputation for peace in the community

but she shouldn't tarnish me.

Are you Monk Tang? Why is your body so delicate?

Young Master, you are really biased.

You brought Qian Zhan and Qian Xiao out for fun without me.

Who told you to betray me?

I...

How did you find me?

Do you think you can just hide?

It's useless. Such a radiant man like you,

no matter where you go, it's just like the sun at noon.

That's right.

That's because I wasn't serious in hiding.

If I seriously hide, I definitely can't be found.

Let's make a bet then.

What's the bet?

I will give you another three chances. You have two hours to hide.

The location is within Tianyou City.

If I can find you three times within two hours, you lose.

Be good, go back and marry me.

What if you can't find me?

I will set you free then

and won't talk about marriage again.

Only children will play hide-and-seek. So childish.

Move aside.

If I may say, this is rather exciting.

Young Master, we are dressed in such a high profile manner.

Aren't you afraid Little Flute would recognize us?

This is known as

doing the opposite.

Whose daughter is getting married today in Tianyou City?

If Young Master didn't run away from his wedding, today would be his wedding day too.

Our boss likes your young lady.

- Scram if you don't want to die. - Protect Miss.

They even dare to abduct a woman?

They are treating my Qianyun Mountain Pavilion as nothing.

Qian Zhan, take them down.

Miss, are you okay?

Husband, you came just in time.

Or else, your wife would have been abducted.

You have two chances left.

Ridiculous. This female demon is indeed cunning.

She even used my concerns for the people

to lay a trap.

Looks like I need

to be heroic and act righteously. I must be serious now.

- Qian Xiao. - Yes.

Do you have any stupid ideas?

Excellent.

This time, I will make me unrecognizable to my mother.

Move aside.

Look at them.

I don't believe I can't find him.

Looks like I can only use this unexpected trick to force him to show himself.

It is said that one month ago,

the leader of the martial arts realm Mu Juechen

hosted an open audition

in Qianyun Mountain Pavilion

to recruit a wife.

Many heroines and treasured daughters of different sects

came to compete

for this supreme position

as the wife of the Head of Martial Arts League.

That old man seems to be talking about me.

Might as well travel incognito

to inspect the livelihood of the people.

And listen to the people's opinions about me.

Gongshu Yu of Youyou Valley

finally defeated everyone and won the competition.

She and Young Master Mu was engaged at the venue.

I heard Young Master Mu couldn't yield to this female demon.

He fled yesterday as he was scared. Isn't that so?

I heard about this too.

Who dared to spread such news?

I reformed her, okay?

Forget it. One must bear the weight when wearing the crown.

Not so.

I heard from a disciple from Qianyun Mountain Pavilion that

Gongshu Yu, under the Young Master Mu's guidance,

has already improved a lot and at peace with herself.

There are no evil thoughts.

She has turned over a new leaf.

Rumors indeed end with sages.

This storyteller has substance.

Why would Young Master Mu run away from his wedding?

I heard that female demon is an ace in martial arts

but she's beautiful.

Since Young Master Mu made her yield to him,

why not take her in and form a marriage alliance between two families?

This is the hot news I was bursting to tell.

I heard Young Master Mu

is not interested in women.

Old Bai, you can't simply just say this

just to solicit for business and slander Young Master Mu too.

That's right, Old Bai. Do you have any evidence for saying this?

I heard this from a maid from Qianyun Mountain Pavilion.

She said that she found a lot of

make-up and hair accessories in his room.

There were even women's clothes too.

Hence, I speculate that this Young Master Mu

has an addiction for wearing women's clothes.

Storyteller! How dare you mislead the public?!

I won't allow you to slander Young Master Mu.

He's the most perfect man in this kingdom.

He definitely doesn't has an addiction for women's clothings.

Who are you? Why are you so sure?

I...

Such a spirited girl.

Such slender and beautiful legs.

Such a firm butt.

Dare I ask for your name and which family you are from?

I have matters to attend to at home.

I'm leaving now.

Sorry, you lost again.

Little Flute indeed knows you best.

One can kill but not humiliate.

Today was the most humiliating day for me in my life.

Young Master, Little Flute has indeed gone overboard.

- But... - Forget it.

With your wisdom, you will never win against her.

I have my own plan.

This is the last chance.

I will bet my life and confidence on this.

I will let her lose convincingly.

You are that adamant against marrying Little Flute?

What do you know?

This is a battle

between the good and evil.

[Four Archway]

The deadline for the bet is approaching.

Xiao Yu.

- Did you find him? - Did you find him?

- No. - Me, either.

Older Brother, let's play hide-and-seek.

Okay. You look for me.

Face the wall and close your eyes like this.

Count to hundred before you can open your eyes to find me.

1...2...3...

Come, Xiao Yu. Be good, drink your medicine.

It's too bitter. I'm not drinking it.

But Father already said,

how can you get well if you don't drink your medicine?

How will I take you to fly kite in the future?

But the medicine is too bitter.

Okay. I will play hide-and-seek with you, okay?

If you can't find me, be good and drink your medicine.

Okay.

Get up.

Close your eyes, count to hundred before you can find me.

1...2...3...

Second Sister, is there an icehouse in Tianyou City?

Of course, there is. The ice in Qianyun Mountain Pavilion are transported from this icehouse in Tianyou City.

Talking about this, Qianyun Mountain Pavilion had an icehouse here too.

However, Young Master was too naughty.

He hid there while playing hide-and-seek and almost frozed to death.

Hence, the icehouse is closed...

- I got it. - Where is it?

I know where it is. Follow me.

[Icehouse]

Boss, is Young Master Mu in the icehouse?

Yes. He's in there.

It has been four hours.

If he doesn't come out, he will turn into a snowman.

Boss, open the door now.

I would want to but he has locked himself from inside.

We can't open the door from outside.

Young Master, seriously...

He doesn't even want his life in order to win.

Mu Juechen, open the door!

I admit defeat, okay?

Open the door, Mu Juechen!

Young Master.

I won for this round.

Young Master.

You would rather die

than to marry me?

Now that I won,

why don't I feel happy?

Could it be that, in my heart,

I hoped that I would lose to her and go back with her later?

Impossible. I must have been confused by the cold.

After being covered by so many blankets, why is his hand still so cold?

How are you? Are you still cold?

Yes.

Nothing must happen to you.

Nothing must happen to you.

Nothing must happen to you.

But before I leave, I hope we can have a final date

to complete our unfufilled wishes.

Fine.
