On Ganghwa Island, the exiled Kyeong Chang has a disease.

If she is the divine doctor, of course, she should examine him.

Since when did you love me?

As I previously said, there was a situation.

But I already heard it, so what can we do?

Do you know my name?

It's Eun Soo.

Yoo Eun Soo.

Now are you suggesting my general of the Woodalchi,

went to put Kyeong Chang on the throne and commit treason against me?

She is truly Hwata's student.

I'm going. I should get that woman!

Do I just have to bring back what you told me to?

If you dragged Doctor Jang back with you, that would be even better.

Come back quickly!

Episode 7

Where are you going?

Your Highness.

Will you stick to me and follow me?

Why?

Young!

We have to run straight from here to the main gate!

Whatever happens, don't stop.

Don't try to fall behind. Just follow my lead.

Are you... ready?

What exactly is happening?

If you're ready,

let's run.

Let's go.

Criminal, will you not stop!?

How dare you! Where do you think you are going?

I'm Woodalchi's General, Choi Young.

Assassins have entered. So I'm taking His Highness to safety...

The assassins were...

Protect His Highness!

They are traitors! Stop them!

You can stay here and get killed as if you were a traitor,

or would you rather leave with us?

Can't I just go back into the house instead?

I want to do that.

Hurry up and decide.

The longer you take to decide, the more people are going to die.

That's your problem.

High Doctor.

A-are those people fighting on our side?

Yes.

But... which team is on our side?

That's a bit complicated.

Then! Why don't we just pretend we don't know them and leave it alone?

Go that way first.

Will you be okay, Young?

Let's go.

Please go in that direction as far as you can.

It will rain soon. The chance of getting chased will decrease, so please hide from the rain.

The High Doctor will escort you.

What about you?

I will come later and find you.

You want us to go by ourselves?

Why are we going by ourselves? Why!?

For once, can you not say "why" and just do what I want you to do!?

Go ahead.

I will be able to find you wherever you are,

so hide well.

If something goes wrong, the General will be considered a traitor.

The king is starting to suspect him.

So, tell him to drop everything and return to the palace immediately.

Hold-hold-hold on!

I'm not your enemy.

How do you know who I am, and say that you aren't my enemy?

After seeing that style of clothing, it seemed that you are a Woodalchi guard.

Wow, a mountain man...

knows to recognize a Woodalchi's outfit.

Did you come to look for General Choi Young?

Who are you?

I'm also a guy who's looking for General Choi Young.

Because I got an order to find him and bring him back secretly.

Ganghwa Island is a disaster right now.

"Choi Young was trying to take Kyeong Chang secretly, but got caught."

"There are more than a hundred men, who are trying to bring Kyeong Chang back to the throne."

"No. There are even more gathering."

Who exactly said such nonsense!?

You mean, you didn't know?

The magistrate of Ganghwa Island already knew this yesterday.

So the government guards were getting prepared, is what I am saying.

When Choi Young would come,

and when Prince Kyeong Chang will move?

When did they know yesterday?

Yesterday morning.

Already a command was circulated to all the guards to be prepared for it.

What have I, your subject said?

Haven't I told you from the beginning, not to trust General Choi, until my throat was bleeding?

Although I do not know what Gi Cheol has told you, however,

Your Majesty, please make a good decision.

That man, Choi Young, was already one of Gi Cheol's from the beginning.

He went to Gi Cheol's residence alone and took the divine doctor with him to Kyeong Chang.

Dozens, hundreds of traitors guarded them, so they could escape from the exile site.

It doesn't make sense!

Without Gi Cheol's protection, would he be able to do that, acting alone, Your Majesty?

The report has come from Ganghwa Island.

This situation is very bad, Your Highness.

Oh that scared me!

Alright! Alright! I understand!

Has that child that runs well awakened?

Court Lady! He hasn't even awoken, where are you taking him?

It can't be helped, he's been ordered to be brought immediately.

Are you able to walk?! Need a piggyback ride?

What is she saying?

Alright, I understand I will accompany him, so do not worry.

Are you the kid that went to Gi Cheol's house with Woodalchi's General, Choi Young?

Y-y-yes I am.

Did Gi Cheol let Choi Young take the High Doctor? Right there, immediately?

Yes, but-

Did Choi Young go to Ganghwa Island under Gi Cheol's orders?

Yes, but still-

Why?

Huh?

Did Choi Young become one of Gi Cheol's men?

N-n-n-n-no! N-n-not at all!

But then why is Choi Young following Gi Cheol's orders!?

How?

That...

That...

Forget it!

Go!

There was probably a reason why.

If I were to guess, Lord Deokseong could have threatened with the life of the High Doctor.

That's right. That's what would have happened.

"If the High Doctor cannot cure the exiled king then she will be eradicated,

so if you want to save her then take her to the exiled former king."

I don't want to know anything else.

Nor do I want to hear anything else.

Your Highness, from Choi Young's perspective without a choice-

For what reason would anyone want to know about his perspective?

Rather than taking the side of a wronged person, blaming him is much easier...

and more fun.

Oh my goodness! Sheesh.

Do you just stab without even looking?

Well, you said even if I died trying I wouldn't be able to strike so-

If there's no confidence in striking then do not strike carelessly.

Because a knife can't distinguish its owner and its enemy.

Why are you late, do you know how long we waited?

But how did you find this place? So fascinating!

I put your horse in there, just in case it might've been caught. I did a good job, right?

By the way, if that horse poops there...

Woah, it's so scary!

How much did you get hurt?! Let me see!

It's not my blood.

Wipe that out.

Go away! Don't wake the kid.

What do you mean kid? Who are you talking about?

Hey..

Last night, while I was sleeping, did you get some sleep?

Then that means you haven't had a wink of sleep since you regained consciousness.

During that period, you fought, rode a horse, fought again, and kept protecting..

What do you think you're doing?

Here. Take a rest on my shoulder.

From here on, I will protect you. So rest your eyes.

Are you asking a man to rest on a woman's shoulder?

I am telling someone who is more tired to lean on someone who is well rested. Why do you have to bring up 'man' and 'woman'?

Here, lean on me and rest. I said I'll keep watch.

I heard that you like to sleep a lot.

"He would sleep for 3 days and 3 nights."

"Then he wakes up and eats food for 3 days and 3 nights, then he goes back to sleep."

"That is why our General is so great!"

So stop putting on airs, and just rest.

If a person doesn't sleep well, he loses his appetite and concentration, gets depression and even obesity...

So just sleep. What will I..

The smell of blood...

It seems like the rain has stopped.

I don't see any of Gi Cheol's men. Did they perhaps, give up and withdraw? Or..

did they perhaps figure out where the General is?

They most likely went to Ganghwa's exit road and are watching over there.

How do you know?

That's because the government guards will search the inner part of the island.

If there are people chased, they will try to leave the island, no matter what.

And the exit road is already decided.

If it were me, that's what I would do.

Where are you going?

If there is only the General by himself, maybe, but as he accompanies other people, he wouldn't be able to go that far.

It's probably this way.

Why?

Look here.

It's fresh horse dung.

The general left on a horse.

So it's this way.

Do you have pain in your ear?

Here.

Did you have this kind of pain often? How often?

Why do you keep asking a sick person?

The tumor in his ear is touching the nerve. That's why he has a pain.

Do you have my aspirin?

What?

The medicine I gave you.

Aspirin isn't that strong a pain killer, but since he doesn't have any tolerance to modern medicine,

this pill will help it.

We have to wish for that to happen.

Bear with the pain for a little while. The medicine will take effect soon.

Just how soon? Can't you see he's in pain.

Don't you do acupuncture?

Acupuncture.. that's not my specialty.

Is this it?

Do something!

My sincere apologies for not bringing some medicine with me while I was being dragged here.

You should have given me some hint, then I would have brought all kinds of pain killers.

This kidnapping jerk. Just who does he think he's yelling at?

Jerk?

This is a method I use when I'm in pain.

So, there is a person called Yang Hee Eun.

In my world, she's like a godmother of singing, as she's soooo good at singing.

You must say it in her way of speaking to have an effect. Follow me.

"You! What is your name?"

Try it. "You! What is your name?"

You. W-w-what is your name?

Not like that. Follow me.

"You! What is your name?"

Y-you. What is your name?

"Who the hell do you think you are that you're hurting me like this?!"

Who are you to hurt me like this?

And then.. you look straight at your pain.

And then..

Look at that pine trees which are so green in the field.

Although there is no one who takes care of them,

although it rains harsh, although it snows a lot,

to the end of the world,

they are clean and green.

Who is this guy?

General!

So?

He's like a rat with wings.

It's the mountain. It's night.

So?!

I lost him.

Good job. If you had caught him, it wouldn't have been fun.

So...did I really do well?

Just what is he thinking?

Anyways, in his mind, there are a dozen of poisonous snakes.

They're also sly and mean..

Aish, it's so frustrating!

The magistrate told me that.

That he must hear it from the Woodalchi General himself.

"I must see it with my eyes, and hear it with my ears,

I shall make a decision to see if he fell into the trap.

So bring him back."

It went well, right, General? Since you have a person that believes you.

If I fell into his trap, then it would've been like that.

If I fell into his trap, then it would've been like that.

If...

I had meant to betray from the beginning...

Captain!

Did he tell you to bring us back even if that's the case?

If you're really committing treason, you wouldn't follow a guy like me.

Am I wrong?

I don't know when his pain will come back.

It's not good for him to move around.

The magistrate of Ganghwa, do you know him?

Can you trust him?

He's not really someone I know and I don't trust him, but

it's not like we have any other option.

How long can we keep running with the Prince in tow?

Then, should I inquire about other places?

You, go back to the palace.

You mean just me without you?

I have a message to send to His Majesty.

The King's mood right now is a little..

Honestly, I was secretly sent by the 2nd-in-command.

Meeting you in secret like this...

If the King were to find out.

He won't kill you for giving him this message.

Do you think so?

Well..I don't really have complete faith in that.

Captain!

If you survive after telling him my words,

you will have to come back with the King's reply.

I will try to last until then.

So you're saying the King will give a reply? To you?

Didn't I tell you that I, too, am unsure?

Then..

If you are killed because of me

There's something I want to tell you

I'm sorry.

Please ask her if she's worried that much.

He's asking if you're worried that much.

Yes. Tell him that.

"Yes," she says.

Because you were worried about Woodalchi Choi Young

the Queen prepared this kind of table with refreshments, even though she has no desire for it,

so that she can call me? Right...

"What would you like me to do for you?" Ask her.

"What would you like to me do for you?" He as..

Grant me permission to go to Gi Cheol.

Your Highness.

Tell the King!

This is why I called you, Royal Doctor.

I don't think the Queen is in the right frame of mind.

How did her head also get bad when her neck got hurt?

This is just unbelievable.

Doctor Jang will have to give her treatment.

I will tell him to exchange with me.

For the Woodalchi Captain and the High Doctor, I will offer myself in exchange.

Just what nonsense are you spouting?

No matter what, I am the Princess of the Yuan land.

Even if he may want to, Gi Cheol

will not be able to do anything to me in his house.

So, like before, you want to go to his place?

Without my permission, without my knowledge, "for the Doctor and Choi Young

I came here for them, so release them

and accept me, the Queen, instead." Is that what you want to do?

I was thinking to give him a few promises too.

If he wants money, I was going to give the right to trade with Yuan.

And if he wants power, then....

Just how far

how far do you have to make me miserable for you to be happy?

A man who is a king of one country just lost the most loyal subject.

Even if he turned his back to me, there is nothing I can do.

But now, even my own Queen is sick of my incompetence,

so throws me away and for yourself, do what?

Do you think I am that pathetic?

Do you like him that much?

Do you have to go this far for his sake?

For Your Majesty, he is..

someone who is more necessary than someone like me, is what I think.

Why?

Your Majesty would never have known this but

You've never even tried to know this, but...

I..

I...

Stop right there!

Your Majesty! Your Majesty!

Your subject, Il Shin, is here!

Were you safe?

What is all this?

Your Majesty, I will save you! I came here to save you, Your Majesty!

Listen to me, Woodalchi Guards. Are you now

taking His Majesty as a hostage?

We are what?

Just what are you-

Did Woodalchi guards harass you, Your Majesty?

What is it you're trying to say?

The Woodalchi Captain is seeking to betray you.

The subordinates of that kind of person should never be near you!

Your Majesty! This is not true!

They are here protecting me under my orders.

It's nothing to do with their General, so...

No, Our young and pitiful Majesty!

I have information that they are communicating with Woodalchi General secretly.

I found out everything,

and came here running!

You Woodalchi bastards!

Will you answer after getting tortured, one by one?

One of you guys,

who went to Choi Young? Tell me now.

Otherwise, taking His Majesty as a hostage like this, are you trying to fight against us?

Is this true?

Were you, without me knowing,

communicating with that guy, Choi Young?

YOUR MAJESTY!

Underlings of the traitor Choi Young, listen to me.

Sooner than later, your leader's treason will be revealed clearly.

Until then, if you think you're innocent, don't set even your foot out of these barracks,

and be cautious.

If you bastards show even a moment of treason,

right at that moment, these Woodalchi barracks will become a sea of fire.

What happened?

Then, did Captain get caught?

Subtitles brought to you The Faith Team @Viki.com

Ahn So Ho greets Your Highness.

It has been a long time.

Are you the High Doctor?

Yes. Well, sort of.

Hello.

And you must be the Woodalchi cap-

Excuse me.

His Highness needs a place to rest. He is very exhausted.

Can we do the introductions later?

This way.

How are you feeling?

My head hurts less.

The medicine that you gave me must be really good.

That is Heaven's medicine, isn't it?

On our way in, I think I saw an herb garden.

I think there's a peppermint plant there too.

I'm thinking to make a painkiller with that.

Later, I might be able to make some kind of patch which can give some refreshing touch.

That spell is also effective.

Spell?

You. What is your name?

I dare you to hurt me!

- A trap, you say.. - Yes.

You think His Majesty will understand this is a trap?

Yes.

Following that, now you're just waiting for the King's order.

That's right.

You want me to just trust you with this.

You should trust me.

Otherwise, the Magistrate,

you're now doing a very dangerous thing.

Exactly.

Since I'm standing beside you, Woodalchi,

who are commiting a treason by taking the exiled former king and trying to bring him back to the throne,

it's very dangerous.

It's not just standing beside me,

but you're hiding us now.

Is that so?

Actually

why you might be willing to doing this

I had some doubts.

Doubts?

Me?

It wouldn't be for me who you haven't met before.

Perhaps

are you actually trying to commit a treason

with Prince Kyeong Chang, His Highness?

Is that it?

Look here.

You said you're Choi Young?

Yes.

I am a person who's getting paid by this nation.

If I want my family to get paid by the country through the generations,

What do you think are the 3 most important?

I am not sure.

Because I haven't thought about "through the generations".

When we have a chance, I will teach you.

Thoroughly, I will teach you well.

What are you doing?

I'm collecting herbs to use them for painkillers.

This is bakha. Peppermint.

I know a little about this. They put it in my favourite cocktail.

Cocktail. Mohito.

It's really good.

Finish up and lets go.

His Highness is alone.

Isn't it safe here?

If you're worried, just go in first.

It is just what I think it is but

I just don't know how to make a medicine out of this.

Crush them and make juice out of it?

Do I boil it?

You,

aren't you a doctor?

In our time, the Doctors don't make their own medicine.

Pharmaceutical compaies make medicine in a large scale and their salespeople sell them.

So just what do the doctors do?

We just have to look up the names in the computer.

The medicines that I need are all on the comp-

Here.

What?

Accept the flower.

A gift.

Let's go.

Wait!

Hold on! Stop moving.

Why?

I said stop moving!

There's something strange here.

Oh! What is this?

Why is it like this?

I'm going crazy.

It really suits you.

Is it that funny?

It's because I like the fragrance of the flower.

I thought I might try to get rid of the smell of blood on you.

His Highness is sleeping.

They are my people.

Although they aren't more skilled than Woodalchi

They are still well trained.

They will protect the prince.

You have not eaten have you?

No!

We haven't had anything since dinner yesterday.

Although there is someone who said they'd protect me

he doesn't seem to bother about eating.

It has all been prepared.

Shall we?

I'm not sure if you will like what I have prepared.

Despite what you think, I am not picky about my food.

Although I'd like some red spicy kimchi

It's alright.

I will eat anything.

If you decide to scream right now

Choi Young can still hear you.

If I summon Young...

If Young comes, what will you do?

Are you asking me because you don't know?

He is someone who forced Your Highness to step out of the house.

That is not true.

Taking Your Highnes who was wrongly abdicated,

he wants to make you the King again.

No!

The Woodalchi soldiers who follow Choi Young

have all been arrested.

You uncle, the King, ordered it.

Now the only thing left

is to capture Choi Young and turn him over to the King Now the only thing left

is to capture Choi Young and turn him over to the King

and execute him with the most horrible method.

Fit for a most treacherous criminal.

All this is a setup.

I know the truth.

Young was just-

Of course it was a trap.

It is a pitfall that this subject, I created.

What are you saying?

I, this subject..

have always been good at doing this kind of things.

How?

Why?!

For several reasons.

First,

I want to have Choi Young.

And if I have Choi Young, the High Doctor will follow close behind.

Also

The new young King

I just don't like him.

I want to teach him a lesson.

Just how shall I do it?

Would you, Your Highness,

like to take the throne again?

Give me the command.

I will make it all come true.

Here, here.

Aren't you don't yet?

Noisy! Shut up!

Just how much more can you eat?

Have you never heard such a thing?

When eating, even a dog is left alone.

Since I don't know when I'll be eating again, when I have such a chance..

Then take your time. I'm going to leave first.

Captain Choi.

Because I am young and foolish,

I may not know much.

However, I know this. Gi Cheol of Lord Deokseong.

Yes, your highness.

The kind of Choi Young I know is,

would not commit treason.

Not sure...

Just how far a person will go for his interest and his life

Your Highness, you don't really know.

No matter how much of a loyal person he is,

Young is lazy, he won't do that sort of thing.

Is it because he's lazy?

The Young I know, will not involve himself with something as cumbersome as treason

he's not that diligent.

That's for real.

But Your Highness...

Whether he actually committed treason or not, is not that important.

it's just, whether we I have him executed for committing treason

or save him. It's one of the two.

Choi Young...

In front of you, Lord Deokseong,

If I make him bend his knees, you will save him?

That's right.

It's that simple.

Young...

won't do that.

How so?!

I already told you Admiral Choi Young is lazy,

bending his knees before someone he doesn't like just to save his life....

Is something he won't do.

Shall we make a bet?

Choi Young will eventually,

try to do anything in order to save his own life.

If necessary, he will abandon Your Highness and the King.

All the humans are like that.

What if..

if Prince Kyeong Chang commands you that?

If he says that he wants to be the King again, so asks your help?

Let's say that I didn't hear that.

Didn't you already hear it?

Just try to think about it.

Although I'm just a mere Military Officer who is living by using a sword,

I have my head, too.

A person who has a head, in this situation with that kind of question, would he answer it?

I am risking my own life bringing you to my house and feeding you with my food.

If you can't answer this question, I'll be sad.

Do you know what this is?

It's Hwa Go poison. If a person drinks it, it burns all organs of that person.

From the throat to the organs, one by one, it burns all slowly.

I heard that there is no comparable pain to that in this world.

Tell Choi Young this as you give this to him.

"Can you drink this and die for me?"

"Then, Gi Cheol will ask the sin only to you for this time,

and let me live."

Then, will that man obediently drink this?

Don't you want to know?

If Prince Kyeong Chang

asks you to help his restoration, what will you do, Choi Young?

I would need to kill Prince Kyeong Chang.

I am a Woodalchi who protects the King.

If there is a person who tries to harm the King, no matter who it is,

killing that person is my job.

Actually Your Highness is innocent.

If that Choi Young just dies quietly, I will pretend that this matter never existed.

Or...

Your Highness will die.

As a traitor, by being cut in pieces. Like that.

You said...

you wanted to have Young.

But...

why kill him?

Because Your Highness don't know.

You really don't know what a human being is. So I am want to teach you.

The truth is...

Choi Young is a dead person no matter what.

So, tell him to just save Your Highness and die.

Choi Young.

Young...

Is there no way to save him?

Then that means you have to give up your life!

Since he can't enthrone a dead king,

the treason will naturally become a matter which never happened.

Look here, wait a bit...

Let's do this!

If you don't have anything to say, let's talk about it there.

His Highness and I..

send us to the heaven.

I'll take His Highness and go to our world.

I can do the surgery there...

and give him the treatments for cancer.

We can save him!

Even if you both decide to go,

I can't guarantee you that the Heaven's Door will be open.

Then what is guaranteed here?

You're now being accused for treason, right?

I watched several historical dramas, too, so I know that.

Then we will all die.

At this rate, aren't I going to die, too??

Don't just stand there and say something.

Aren't my words right?

Do you know how to get there?

That...

I will ask people on our way to there...

How will you avoid the government guards' chase?

That...

Can't we go together?

You don't ever have to kill anyone there.

So let's go together to the heaven world.

With me together.

Were you able to get some sleep?

Are you in pain again?!

Heaven's Doctor, His Highness is...

Choi Young...

Subtitles brought to you by The Faith Team @ viki.com.

Are you a Woodalchi?

That's right. To a Woodalchi who protects His Majesty,

what do you think are mere military guards doing?

To all members of Woodalchi,

there is an arrest order.

Catch this punk.

Heaven's Doctor!

Hurry!

How long has he been like this?

Where is he in pain?

What's this?!

What's wrong with this?!

Your Highness!

Did you drink this?

This is smell of Hwa Go poison. You wouldn't have...

What is that?

Who gave you this?

Tell me, who?!

I told you what's that?!

It's poison.

When human drink this...

all internal organs will start to burn.

How could such a thing...

Is this...

some type of acid?

I SAID, it's Hwa Go Poison!

You don't even know that?

Do something immediately!

How dangerous is it..

If you drink this...

you can't even die easily.

A person's internal organ is burning but

It won't die easily.

For poison, if I try gastric lavage...

You. What is it?

You don't know?

Is there no way?

Nothing?

I'm sorry.

Go get some cold water. No matter what...

we should at least get the fever down. Quickly!

Your Highness!

Lord Deokseong taught me this.

What should I do to save you..

Gi Cheol.. Did that man come?

Was it that man?

He probably didn't know....

Did that man feed you poison?

Did he feed Your Highness..

Well, I can't even live long anyway..

That man did not know that.

So that's why,

he told me to make you drink this poison.

But, why would I let that be?

Then?

So you instead of me..

Drank it?

Does it hurt a lot?

Can I also go there?

There... Heaven..

Of course.

Tell me.

About there. Heaven.

Carriages without horses

run by themselves.

Very wide roads are filled with that kind of carriages.

The world... was full of light.

Because Heaven had so many shining lights,

It hurts... it hurts, Young.

So, if you get to go there,

no matter how dark night is,

you will never lose your way.

It hurts... so much.

Now...

I will make you not be in pain any longer.

Would it be.....

alright if I do so?

Yes. You may do that. It hurts...

So much.

Did you kill him?

Did you do that?

The owner of this house seemed to have betrayed us. We should move immediately.

Wait here. Since I need to check the situation outside first...

Do what as I say. Stay beside me.

So that I can protect you.

How many times do I have to tell you for you to remember?

Don't touch me!

Move those dirty hands.

Don't go outside!

Please.

It could've been dangerous.

Gi Cheol of Lord Deokseong.

Why don't you put down that person?
