[People always say]

[there is a beast in the Green Hills.]

[Its shape is like that of a fox. It has nine tails.]

[Its voice is like that of a baby. It is man-eating.]

[One gets obsessed with it from seeing it.]

[It brings chaos to both worlds.]

[My name is Su Jiu Er.]

[There's a person]

[whom, for hundreds of years,]

[I've kept in mind and been looking for.]

[No matter where he is in this life,]

[I'll definitely find him.]

Demon Fox of Green Hills!

I'll kill you today!

[In this life,]

[even if I use up my thousand-year cultivation base,]

[I'm still going to change my fate.]

[I'll be with him forever.]

[My only goal]

[is to find him,]

[and become]

[Su Jiu Er again.]

[Monster List]

Ninety years. [Monster List]

Ninety years.

Ninety years!

Ninety years, once!

Ninety years, twice!

-Ninety-two years! -Ninety-two years!

-Anyone else? -One hundred years!

One hundred years!

One hundred years, once!

One hundred years, twice!

One hundred years, thrice!

Deal!

Today,

we have another valuable.

Let's look forward to the arrival of this treasure!

Let the countdown begin!

Three!

Two!

One!

This is a treasure indeed.

I know, right?

Everyone,

calm down.

Something far more valuable

than Dragon Tears.

What is it?

What is this?

I don't know.

Don't you ask me

where we got this from.

This scary and hateful thing

which enables humans

to trample on our dignity at will.

The thing that tramples on our dignity?

It's the clue to the Monster List.

Monster List?

Bid as you please.

[Monster List]

Whoever gets it [Monster List]

Whoever gets it

gets to rule both the human and demon worlds!

Really?

Is it

the real clue?

I want it!

Give it to me!

I want it!

It's better to believe

than to disbelieve.

Three hundred years!

Three hundred and fifty years!

Four hundred years!

Anyone else?

Eight hundred and eighty-eight!

Anyone else?

Does it contain

the clue to the Yang Eye?

It's Su Jiu Er, the Demon Fox of Green Hills.

If she finds out, we're dead meat.

What are you doing?

Carry on with the auction.

Yes.

This treasure

is sold for 880-year spirit energy.

Congratulations to

the one-eyed, one-horned demon with a braided beard.

She's here to kill us all!

Are we doing it?

Yes.

Go.

Let's go.

You darn toad.

You're good at hiding, aren't you?

Turn your back.

Yes.

My lady.

If your brother finds out about this,

I'm dead meat, even if I have eight lives.

Cut the crap.

Hold out your hand.

Seriously?

Because of a man,

you've been enemies with the human for many lives.

Why torture yourself?

How is it?

The one you're looking for

is close by.

You got away from the nine-tailed fox.

Eldest Senior, don't be angry.

I've gotten the clue to the Monster List.

Forget it.

Monster List?

If I hadn't risked my life and saved you,

you would've been eaten alive by the demon!

That's very kind of you, Eldest Senior.

I'll definitely remember it.

Let's go now.

It's dawn already.

Come out!

Now!

It's just a demon.

Don't be nosy.

You should head back first, Eldest Senior.

Take care of our master.

I'll be back soon.

Junior.

This isn't a good idea.

Junior.

Junior!

Stop it!

May I know

what his mistake is?

A Xiaoyao Sect member

who tries to save a demon?

Get lost now!

If not, we'll teach you a lesson too.

This area is full of demon busters.

You should leave now.

He saved your life.

Yet, you wanted to hurt him.

You're a demon.

Why are you on the human's side?

I'm on neither of the sides.

You just happened

to mess with my man.

I'm going to abolish all your cultivation base,

remove your Internal Elixir,

and destroy your body.

The Internal Elixir will then be sealed

and locked up here.

You'll live in the darkness forever

with your consciousness.

Aren't you...

Long time no see.

We finally met again.

Lady, you

got the wrong person.

I met you three hundred years ago.

How could I get the wrong person?

What's your

current name?

My...

My name is Feng Wu Ye.

Feng Wu Ye.

I'll call you Feng then.

And stop calling me lady.

Call me

Jiu Er.

Then,

you mean

you know my past self?

Yes.

I'm learning how to cultivate from my master.

And I read about past lives

in the books.

Still I can

hardly believe it.

You're learning how to cultivate?

It suits you so much.

Then,

are you really the Demon Fox?

My name is Jiu Er.

Hide your ears.

Demon busters can't find out about it.

Sure.

You...

still care about me so much.

Lady Jiu Er.

Could you move your leg a bit?

Where are you going?

I've got to head back to the Xiaoyao Sect.

If master finds out that I sneaked out, I'm dead meat.

Lady Jiu Er.

See you.

I'll come with you.

It's bad!

Your Highness.

Please stop Lord Jiu Er.

If

she insists on loving the Yang Eye,

surely she's...

What's wrong?

Finish your sentence.

surely she's

going to use up all her spirit energy

and die.

Senior.

Senior!

[Xiaoyao Sect]

Master!

Are you alright, Master?

Why are you here?

I'm here to look for the clue to Monster List

and change your fate.

Change my fate?

Stay out of my business!

Jiu Er.

Humans and demons are from different worlds.

Stop being willful.

I don't care

whether he's a human

or a demon.

You'll give...

this part of...

Xiaoyao Sect's

sealed magatama...

to the head of Yuqing Palace.

Master.

Master!

Feng!

You're no match for him.

Don't!

Enough!

I can help you find the Monster List.

Trust me.

Take it!

Lord Jiu Er.

Get me a nice room.

Go.

Get Room One ready.

Yes.

This way.

They're sharing a room?

You're up, Feng.

Have some water.

And we'll leave here together.

Feng.

It's you!

You collaborated with him on seizing the sealed magatama,

slaughtering my sect,

and killing my master!

I'll avenge my master's death!

Why didn't you dodge?

Give the sealed magatama back to me.

It's my sect's mission

to protect the peace in both human and demon worlds!

What does that have to do with me?

Anyway, I won't

let you leave me again.

Feng.

Once you come around,

we'll leave here.

Master,

I've let you down.

I can't complete the mission.

I'll just...

Is my life without achievements

going to end

just like that?

Where is this?

Yang Eye.

Who are you?

Who is talking?

You only care about completing your master's order?

Don't you care about your own life?

Nothing compares with

your life.

I can't stand

you dying in my arms again and again.

This time

I'll protect you my way.

What happened to me?

Your power of Yang Eye has been unleashed.

I'm afraid demons within ten miles

have found out.

Now

I won't let you put your life at risk.

I...

I'm the Yang Eye?

Master told me that

Yang Eye controls the balance between humans and demons.

It's an important mission.

Yet, the Yang Eye has to suffer the eternal pain.

All the more reason I should go.

I'll protect you

throughout the mission.

Really?

Jiu Er.

I'm sorry for what I said.

Don't you dare say sorry.

I'll turn you into a mute man.

If you dare run away,

I'll break your legs.

Also,

don't ever hurt yourself again.

You're mine.

I'm in charge of your life.

They're here.

I'll figure out a way to halt them.

Get this sent as soon as possible.

Yes.

The sealed magatama.

Your Highness.

Sir Fatty Fat

said that Lord Jiu Er

had reached the Yuepiao Inn.

You coward. What's so scary about Yang Eye?

Is Lord Su Li here?

It's all ready.

Sir Fatty Fat.

Lord Jiu Er.

Well,

why don't you take more rest?

Do you know

the Qishan Palace?

Of course I do.

It's a Xanadu indeed.

It belongs to neither humans or demons.

I heard that

the love between humans and demons is allowed there.

I think

the unleashing of Yang Eye

had probably been felt by

demons within ten miles.

This...

I heard that the Blood Moon is appearing.

And it'll render the power of Yang Eye its weakest state.

I guess many demons

covet the power of Yang Eye.

True.

There're many demons who covet the power.

Qishan Palace is the only safe place

for Yang Eye.

What do you mean by that, Your Highness?

Go tell that man upstairs

that if he wants to complete the mission,

he has to detour around the Qishan Palace.

Yes.

You don't need to tell him about

the love between a human and a demon.

So, in order to reach Yuqing Palace,

a detour around Qishan Palace is a must.

I see.

It's a detour

which can avoid unnecessary killing.

Thank you.

Thank you, Jiu Er.

I need to carry out my responsibility as the Yang Eye

and complete the will of Master and Xiaoyao Sect.

Okay!

Here come the dishes!

Here.

Big fish.

Big meat.

Wait, more dishes to come.

Feng.

Have some.

Thank you, Jiu Er.

Two more dishes!

Enjoy your food.

They look so delish.

There're so many dishes.

How long would it take to finish them all?

Sir Fatty Fat.

This is so not you.

Let's go now.

You bastard.

How dare you hang me up!

Let me down!

My lady.

It's been a night.

Would you give me a break?

They're

probably escorting one of the sealed magatama.

They're

probably

heading to Qishan Palace.

Your Highness,

let us down!

This is such a serious matter!

As the chief,

I can't just turn a blind eye to it!

I understand.

You calm down first.

I'm begging you.

Please accept our relationship.

You sincerely love each other?

This won't do!

What nonsense is this?

You sincerely love each other?

He's a demon.

You can't be together!

You unfilial daughter! I'm going to kill you today!

Kill him!

God doesn't accept your relationship.

But I do.

What rights do you have to take them away?

Calm down.

Please calm down.

Calm down.

We can't let go of them!

Kill him!

The sincere love between a human and a demon

can open the gate

and enter my Qishan Palace.

It's hard to find sincere love in this world.

What makes a relationship precious is its fidelity and determination.

Your love

is so sincere and touching.

I'm waiting for your arrival

at Qishan Palace.

Hey!

Who are you?

Why did you help that demon?

You're a demon as well?

Hey!

You're Guo Xiang?

Who are you?

I...

I'm Feng Wu Ye.

Senior?

It's really you?

Jiu Er.

Junior.

This is my best friend,

Su Jiu Er.

Su Jiu Er.

Senior.

Why are you with a demon?

Jiu Er.

This is my best friend...

I don't care who she is.

Well, Junior,

why are you here?

Due to the Blood Moon,

Master sent me here

to join hands with Xiaoyao Sect.

Master hopes our sects can work together

to find the Monster List.

I never thought Xiaoyao Sect would be...

I was ordered by my late master

to hand the Yuqing Palace's head the sealed magatama

and help them to find the Monster List.

Let's head back to Yuqing Palace now.

Surely Master wants to see you so bad.

Wait.

This isn't the way to Yuqing Palace.

I received news.

A friend of

Jiu Er...

There's tension between humans and demons.

In order to avoid unnecessary killing,

we must detour around Qishan Palace where humans and demons live together.

It's the best plan.

We'll go to Qishan Palace together.

No matter how dangerous it's going to be,

my mission is to protect you.

We'll head back to Yuqing Palace together.

Humans and demons don't mess with each other.

Why do you want to kill us?

It's meaningful

for you petty demons to sacrifice and

help me to destroy the humans.

When Guo Xiang was around,

I always found her talkative.

Now,

I find here very deserted.

You miss Senior, Head.

The journey to finding the sealed magatama

is a dangerous one.

Have you come across this formation before?

It looks like a formation used to kill demons.

But this dead body is so dry.

It's such a menacing move.

How could this be a cultivator's doing?

This looks more like some demonish spell.

Yet,

why would a demon kill another demon?

Watch out.

I'll deal with them.

Junior!

Stay here.

She can do it.

But Junior...

Jiu Er,

please save her.

You're asking a woman

to save another woman.

Well.

What's wrong with it?

Forget it.

Jiu Er.

There's a cave over there.

Let's take a rest there.

Jiu Er.

Could...

What's the matter?

Could I have another one

of your magical blue pills?

You mean

Dragon Tears?

I made them especially for you.

But...

Junior...

I...

How dare you

ask me to save another woman with Dragon Tears.

Forget it.

Why did those demons come for me?

They're after the Yang Eye.

Am I

the legendary Yang Eye?

Actually,

I'm the Yang Eye.

Then, why are the demons

looking for Yang Eye?

Yang Eye

is made of both the heavenly and earthly Yang energy.

It can increase the cultivation base

of demons by thousands of years.

Then my senior

is going to be eaten alive

by demons.

What should we do?

When the Blood Mood comes,

demons become the most powerful.

When the time comes,

I'm afraid it'll be more dangerous to Feng.

I must learn

how to control Yang Eye by then.

I can't

stay behind you two all the time.

I'll help you with the practice.

When I was in Yuqing Palace,

Master taught me some original training methods.

How did you do that, Junior?

The heaven and earth

are the roots of thousands of qi.

It enlightens me.

Beyond the three worlds,

Great Tao remains the only way.

The body is covered by golden light.

The soundless imprint

looks so real.

Hundreds of officials accept bribes and bully.

They get richer and richer.

The nothingness hides the imprint.

Do you understand?

Inside and outside is the polyphony.

I try to survive the mishap.

Auspicious day and time.

Golden boy and jade maiden.

I exist until now.

Why doesn't it work?

Senior.

Thank you, Junior.

Keep on practicing.

It's my fault.

The lifespan of humans is too short

compared to that of demons.

I can't be with you forever after all.

Stop wasting your cultivation base on me.

You silly man.

It's just cultivation base.

I'm the mighty mistress of this palace.

Jiu Er.

I'll help you open up your Ren and Du Meridian.

That will

help you master the power of Yang Eye easily.

You're talking about the legendary

Ren and Du Meridian?

I'll become powerful in no time?

Wait.

It's not easy to open up

Ren and Du Meridian, right?

Well,

how many years of your cultivation

will it take to do so?

It's...

not that many.

It'll only take one hundred years.

Then...

Then forget about it.

I'll give you

whatever you want.

Don't!

Jiu Er!

Jiu Er,

men and women shouldn't touch one another.

Close your eyes.

Calm your heart.

You just need to obey

the feelings in your heart.

Imagine

what your body had felt like

before the Yang Eye was unleashed.

With your spirit energy,

it won't be long until you use up all your skills.

Shan Shan's ailment

can only be cured by the Yang Eye.

You just have to lure them to the Qishan Palace.

I'll have the sealed magatama.

And you'll have the Yang Eye.

We're just trying to save our loved ones,

aren't we?

What are they looking at?

Let's go check it out.

Let's go.

The gate of Qishan Palace?

Although you have yet told your feelings to each other,

I feel your sincere love.

I knew it.

No matter how many lives have passed,

we remain together.

Su Jiu Er.

Feng Wu Ye.

I'm waiting for your arrival

at Qishan Palace.

Let's go.

Why do humans and demons

live happily in this Qishan Palace?

This is an illusion for sure.

Want to check it out?

Here!

Do check it out!

It's the fireworks show!

Do register to watch the fireworks show!

Here, sir and lady.

There'll be a fireworks show for tonight's celebration.

Don't miss it.

Want to check it out?

Feng,

come watch it with it.

I am the master of Qishan Palace.

This is

my wife.

You two saved Snake Demon and Qi Tong.

We're deeply moved by it.

That's nothing. Don't mention it.

My husband and I

will hold them a wedding ceremony later.

I hope you can come.

I'm very glad to see that

they're tying the knot.

This way please.

Jiu Er.

You look so good in this outfit.

[If...]

[one day]

[I get changed]

[and you carry the bags.]

[With you holding my hand,]

[we walk past the wheat field]

[and lotus pond.]

[Sure.]

[This has been my longing for thousands of years.]

[And you,]

[without stopping,]

[always]

[fill my imagination.]

[Feng.]

[Stay.]

[Forget about your identity]

[and your mission.]

[Don't leave the Qishan Palace.]

[Stay with me.]

I still remember

that year when we first built

the Qishan Palace.

Indeed.

I never thought

it'd become

so lively as it is.

It'll work.

Thank you

for making their marriage happen.

I'm moved by their love as well.

I think

it's most suitable

for you to be their marriage witness.

As a demon king,

you managed to break the rules

and be together with a human.

That's precious.

Let's see if this couple

is lucky enough

to have you

as their witness.

I'll do it then.

May your love last forever.

[Master always says]

[one shouldn't be associated with demons.]

[But what I'm seeing here in Qishan Palace]

[is something different.]

Feng.

Jiu Er!

Jiu Er!

Stay here.

I'll come and get you later.

Junior!

This is...

Yang Eye.

Why am I here again?

Who are you?

She's just the Demon Fox of Green Hills.

Is she worth it?

He Huan.

Here.

Are you alright?

Why are you here?

He Huan.

We'd had a lot of obstacles

and established the Qishan Palace.

How can we give up on everything because of me?

If you're gone,

what would I do with this palace?

Give me the magatama.

Don't give it to him.

What are you doing?

You have

the second sealed magatama.

I didn't come here for nothing.

Su Li!

Jiu Er.

Come home with me.

Only if I die.

I'm going to kill him now!

Su Li.

That's too much!

I'm sorry.

I did something bad.

I just wanted to stay with you

in the Qishan Palace for a little while more.

We'd watch the sunset

listen to the cool breeze.

You must forgive me

and live well

for me.

Jiu Er.

Feng,

I'm sorry.

I just wanted to make you stay in the Qishan Palace.

I never thought it'd harm everyone.

You always put righteousness first.

And I

never tried to understand you

like how He Huan understood Shan Shan.

Jiu Er,

I know.

But,

as the Yang Eye,

I was ordered by my late master

to protect the two worlds.

It's my responsibility.

This is your choice.

You must trust yourself,

just like

how I've always trusted you.

There's one more sealed magatama at the Yuqing Palace.

Let's set out now.

I'm worried about Master's safety.

Your Highness!

Your Highness.

Good news.

The Blood Moon is coming.

Since the great war ended,

demons have been bothered by Monster List

and controlled by humans for generations.

When the Blood Moon appears,

tens of thousands demons will run amok.

As a demon king,

you must help the demons.

Don't miss this good chance.

What do demons have to do with me?

I only care about my sister.

Now,

I'm going to kill that Yang Eye.

Don't be angry, Your Highness.

Even if you manage to kill him in this life,

what about the next life?

Lord Jiu Er would still go find him.

How about

we make Lord Jiu Er forget about him completely?

Do you have any idea?

Rumour has it that

Yang Eye is the guardian of Monster List.

We can use the power of Blood Moon

to seal that of Yang Eye.

We'll kill him.

I'm glad that you're safe.

Head!

Xiang,

come over here.

This is the pupil of Xiaoyao Sect, Feng Wu Ye.

And that's

Senior Feng's friend.

Head of Yuqing Palace.

Please accept my apology, Head.

Though we found

the lost sealed magatama at Qishan Palace,

I didn't guard it well.

It's seized along with

the magatama of Xiaoyao Sect.

Please don't punish Junior, Head.

I caused all this to happen.

I'll do my very best to reclaim the sealed magatama.

Get up.

You're not to blame for it all.

We still need to

discuss this matter.

I've negotiated it with other sects.

When the Night of Blood Moon comes, all of us will work together

to protect both the human and demon worlds.

When the Blood Moon appears,

tens of thousands demons will run amok.

Both of you should stay in my palace for a few days.

You may leave after the Night of Blood Moon.

Xiang.

Stay here.

Yes,

Master.

Please.

In order to prevent the demons from attacking us,

lead the pupils down the hills

and guard the nearby towns.

We must ensure the safety of villagers.

Yes, Master!

You're

a demon king from the previous generation?

I'm no longer a demon king.

Rumour has it that you're in love with a man.

Let's not talk about the past.

Why are you here,

Demon King of Green Hills?

I need your help with seizing the Monster List

and saving my sister.

I've been staying in this Yuqing Palace for decades

simply because I want to claim the Monster List.

We'll wait until the Blood Moon appears.

When the Yang Eye loses its power,

we'll give the list back to our fellow demons.

And demons will no longer be controlled by humans.

Since you want to save your sister,

I'll lend you a hand then.

Yet,

as for the Monster List...

Don't you worry.

I just want to save my sister.

[The death of Yang Eye brings forth the appearance of the list.]

Don't waste your energy.

This is the Eight-Sorrow Formation.

You can't get out of it.

Su Li,

let me out!

I'll come and pick you up

after claiming the Monster List and changing your fate.

You've found the list?

The list is sealed in the body of Yang Eye.

Only by killing him

can I get the list.

What did you say?

If you get together with the Yang Eye in this life,

you'll die.

There're eight sorrows in this world.

To live.

To get old.

To get sick.

To die.

To part with loved ones.

To resent.

To not be fulfilled.

To not let go.

I've lived for thousands of years.

The first four sorrows

are no longer meaningful for me.

But I'll be spared

the other four sorrows

if I get together with Feng.

I'm begging you. Don't hurt him.

Lately

the demons have been attacking us.

More than ten of my sect members

are either dead or wounded.

That's right.

The Night of Blood Moon is around the corner.

If we don't devise some plan as soon as possible,

I'm afraid...

Even Xiaoyao Sect was slaughtered by demons.

We should slaughter the demons

before the Night of Blood Moon!

Everyone calm down.

One hundred years ago, there'd been a great war between humans and demons.

There were countless casualties.

I'll find the Monster List

so as to prevent the demons from attacking us.

We're willing to be led by you,

Head of Yuqing Palace!

When the Blood Moon appears,

tens of thousands demons will run amok.

When the Blood Moon appears,

tens of thousands demons will run amok.

You came across this formation before?

Has everything been dealt with?

Yes.

I'll bring all this

to a close today.

I knew it.

Master is...

Jiu Er!

Guo Xiang.

Where is Feng?

Senior...

Senior is locked in the Yuqing Palace.

I get it.

This kind of formation

can't be breached by demons.

My master once told me that

it takes one's lifetime cultivation base

to destroy it.

I'll give it a try.

Xiang.

Xiang.

Jiu Er!

Jiu Er!

It's you?

You ruined my plan.

You rascal.

How dare you hurt my sister!

What an indecisive man.

With the Monster List,

I get to control all of the demons

and kill the humans.

So what if it means sacrificing some lives?

Jiu Er.

I can't let you die

in this life.

Jiu Er.

I know that you blame and hate me.

I'm truly

the worst brother in this world.

Brother!

Jiu Er.

Jiu Er.

In that case,

you won't get hurt by the foxfire.

Jiu Er.

Yang Eye.

Your lover is dead because of you.

Do you feel guilty?

Humans and demons

don't deserve love between them at all!

It's their fate.

I'll make this clear.

No matter what the reason is,

it can't be your reason

to kill the innocent.

You're hurt.

You're tricked.

They're simply the excuses

for being ambitious.

It's my mission

as the Yang Eye

to protect the peace of human and demon worlds.

Father.

You're back, my daughter.

Let him in.

Here.

Come back here.

Senior Head.

This bead looks not bad.

You have an eye for it.

This is the best Dragon Tear we have here.

Yang Eye.

Demon Fox of Green Hills is dead.

Please...

save the one I love,

Su Jiu Er.

Are you sure?

Do you really think

you can endure all this by yourself?

Feng,

keep on practicing.

Please bring her to life.

[Su Jiu Er]

Wait.

What?

Please make her forget about

Feng Wu Ye.

[Forget about Feng Wu Ye.]

If I change her fate,

her memories will disappear forever.

As for you,

no matter how many lives pass,

you'll have to endure

the sorrowful memory of

parting with her in this life.

[Call me]

[Jiu Er.]

[Long time no see.]

[We finally met again.]

[We shall]

[tie the knot.]

[For as long as you remember it,]

[I...]

[will never forget it.]
