She went to get her finger treated.

Where could they possibly be?

Here you are!

I'm sorry to ruin the mood.

We need to return to the palace now.

All right, then let's go in exactly one minute.

Exactly one minute.

Why did you say one minute?

What do you plan on doing in one minute?

You have a dirty mind.

What?

Who are you calling dirty?

Let's just sit like this for one minute.

Just sit.

I envy them. I do.

What?

These are some medicines that are good for you when you are weak.

Give them to Da Yeon.

Yes.

Oh yeah.

Do not tell her that I brought them.

Why?

Just do what I ask.

Make sure she takes it. I'm asking you.

Young Master Chang Hwi brought this for you.

Get rid of it.

Lady, you have not even had a bowl of porridge for days.

You will get very sick if you keep this up.

Did Father say nothing again today?

Yes.

It will help you gain strength.

Have some before it gets cold.

I told you to get rid of it!

Are you sick?

I am sick too.

I don't feel the emotions in this one at all.

Why in the world are you behaving this way?

I'm sick too.

Where and how?

I don't know where.

I don't know why I'm acting this way. I really don't know at all.

You're pretending to be sick.

Should we go to Morangak or Hongrowon?

We could go and have fun.

I told you it's not like that. Why do you keep...

I told you they are writing! You cannot just go in like that.

Mal Geum.

I need to see you.

Hey, I'll be right back.

Hey, we need to write this!

Well...

You really didn't come after me just because I told you not to.

I did go after you, but you were so fast.

What kind of a man can't keep up with a woman?

Is being handsome everything?

What?

This is why my mother told me not to go after a handsome man.

They act how they look.

Oh, seriously now...

Wow, are you actually laughing?

It's just that...

- Mal Geum. - Yes?

Do you truly think I am the best-looking man in the world?

Don't you look in the mirror?

Wow! Seriously, I...

All right, let's go have a meal. This handsome guy will treat you.

Did I say I was over being mad at you?

Hey!

- Baby, come on. - What are you doing?

What is this?

You're having trouble sleeping. Go home and open it up.

I suppose it is all your fault, Your Highness.

You should take responsibility.

My fault?

Why do you keep appearing in my dreams?

I cannot sleep at all.

Be careful going home.

This is a problem. I do not want to go.

Hurry up and go.

You should go in first.

I said you should go first.

No, you should go first.

Then I will count one, two, three and we can go at the same time.

All right. One, two, three!

What was that?

Get going.

I want to see you leave.

Should I go in with you?

Oh! You smiled.

How nice is it to see you smile?

You look much more handsome.

I heard... your mother just passed away.

I am sure your mother will want you to smile brightly soon, Officer Kang.

Smile.

They say you must smile often in order to have more to smile about.

Persimmons are supposed to be good for sleeping issues.

Make sure to eat them before sleeping.

It's sweet.

How petty of you to eat alone.

Can't you make your presence known when you walk around?

Give me one.

No.

Are the persimmons covered in gold?

It's just a persimmon.

Why are you here so late?

Well...

Da Yeon told me that I should never tell you.

- The princess... - Forget it. Stop.

Why? Hear me out for now.

You should know how shameless the princess is.

I said stop.

I do not know what Da Yeon said.

However, it is dangerous to judge a person after hearing only one side.

It is even more dangerous to relay that story without knowing the facts.

Would Da Yeon make up stories?

So annoying!

It seems like he is continuing to have the dreams.

Do you think his memories are coming back?

Perhaps something is wrong with his brain.

We need to send him to Jeonju as soon as possible.

Our son is a filial child.

He is an adult now. Would he listen to his parents?

If he continues to be stubborn

I will deliver his resignation to the king myself.

You are willing to go that far.

Is there perhaps...

something more to this that I do not know about?

I mean something unrelated to Gyeon Woo's health.

That's enough.

There is nothing like that.

Your face...

it looks rough.

Why did you want to see me?

There is no need to be so cold.

Do you not know how dangerous it is to meet me?

I know.

As always, you are the only one who cares about me.

Dan Young.

I passed the exam.

Congratulations.

Is something wrong?

What is it?

What is it? Where did you suddenly get this silk?

It's mine.

I'm not going to live such a shabby life any longer.

I am a royal guard now.

If you marry me, you will not suffer--

Will your wages...

be able to provide that?

If I work hard...

I didn't know it.

But I found out that your sixth cousin is a Chief Commander.

You know the Jung household, right?

Jung Ki Joon.

He is at the core of this nation's power.

So what?

- I asked him to get me to the palace. - Dan Young.

My spouse will not be a lowly guard.

He will be the king of this nation.

It has been a long time.

Why have you come to see me, Your Highness?

I have a favor to ask.

I heard you are close to Prince Chuseong.

What is it that you want to say?

I want you to kill him.

And become one of the Chief Commander's men.

You can help, right?

Why must I do such a thing?

Because I am asking you to.

I need to ask you a question.

The Minister of the Left.

What is he thinking?

What do you mean?

I am asking you if he is plotting a rebellion.

Why aren't you answering me?

Wol Myung?

You are my person.

I am no longer... your person, Your Majesty.

No longer...

my person?

"The Minister of the Left sits above the king."

"How can the Minister of the Left reign from above the king?"

"Drawn to power and driven mad with greed..."

"the Minister of the Left."

"Though the king has heard the stories, he is too foolish to do anything."

"They are both guilty of the downfall of Joseon."

"You will receive your judgment and punishment now."

Who in the world do such a thing?

According to the royal guards on duty last night...

the person who was spreading these flyers was wearing a mask.

A mask?

Yes.

The person spreading these lies is unnaturally fast and wearing a mask.

The people have started to call him Ghost Mask.

Ghost Mask.

Compared to the previous flyers

the paper and writing is different.

I do not think he is on the same side as them.

Then...

who could this be?

Did the persimmons help? Did they?

They did not help?

- I slept very well. - Really?

But something is off.

Young Master Gyeon, you are hiding something from me.

How did you know?

Call it woman's intuition.

What is it? Is it something you can't tell me again?

It is a new flyer.

I do not think it came from the Minister of the Left this time.

Your Highness.

Officer Kang.

I will be escorting you to the clinic starting today.

Byul Yi is enough for protection.

The city is unstable due to the flyers distributed by this Ghost Mask.

I know it may be uncomfortable, but please do as I ask.

Look, look.

Did you see this?

We saw that long ago.

It is just brutal.

Taking down the Minister of the Left and the king in one go.

Brutal?

It feels good.

The person who distributed these runs around like a ghost in a mask.

So they call him Ghost Mask.

I heard he wears a mask because of some burn scars.

Burn scars?

Ghost Mask...

They say he is Prince Chuseong.

Prince Chuseong?

You know him from ten years ago.

Prince Chuseong, 10 years ago...

Your Highness, outside...

- Your Highness? - Prince Chuseong.

We need to go to the palace now.

What? Already?

There are rumors all over the city that Ghost Mask is Prince Chuseong.

It cannot be Uncle.

Someone must be pretending to be Uncle.

What could his intent be?

What could he be trying to gain by doing such a thing?

I do not know what this person wants.

All I know for certain is that he is a dangerous person.

What do you mean Prince Chuseong?

You know the person who started a rebellion 10 years ago.

A rebellion?

What is this? You don't know?

You don't remember?

Ah, it must've been when Gyeon Woo was visiting family in Jeonju.

Is that when it was?

So, this Prince Chuseong started a rebellion 10 years ago?

Yes.

Everyone thought he walked into the fire and died.

They say he is alive and back for revenge wearing the mask.

Revenge on whom?

I heard from Mal Geum.

Ghost Mask appeared at the Minister of the Left's house recently.

He threw a knife at him.

It wasn't just the Minister of the Left.

He showed up at the homes of other ministers on that side.

I am so scared, seriously.

Guard the place well.

Yes, Minister.

Let's go.

Now the only place left is the Minister of Personnel's.

Ghost Mask or whoever he is

will show up at the Minister of Personnel's home soon.

Do you really think Prince Chuseong has come back to life?

That is what everyone is saying.

He is dead.

Did you not see him jumping into the flames yourself?

I am sorry.

Stop thinking about useless things and guard your home well.

There is no need for that.

Do not secure your home and hold off your guards.

What do you mean by that?

We cannot let the hunted suspect that there is a hunt going on.

Do not secure the area.

Yes, sir.

Your Highness, where are you off to in such a rush?

Your Majesty, you must hurry.

Evidence of a plot to commit treason has been found at Prince Chuseong's home.

The day my mother was deposed

they said they found evidence that Prince Chuseong was plotting treason.

Then Prince Chuseong and the queen...

could there be a connection?

There could be.

Your Highness, where are you going?

The one person who will tell me about it.

Announce me.

Yes, Your Highness.

Your Majesty, the princess is here to see you.

Why have you come to see me so late?

I have something to ask you.

You have a question.

Have you seen the new flyers that have been circulated in the city?

Were you curious about that?

Whether I had seen it or not?

I am curious about the person who circulated them.

You speak as if I would know who it is.

I want to know about...

Prince Chuseong.

You will regret knowing.

It does not matter to me.

You will be very hurt.

That is why I have come to you, Your Majesty.

Even if I get hurt...

you will not care, isn't that right?

You shrewd girl.

You take after your mother after all.

They say you cannot fool blood.

Prince Chuseong...

had a relationship with your mother, who was kicked out.

Also, he tried to cover up that crime, started a rebellion, and ended up dying.

That was why your mother was deposed.

This...

is what everyone has kept from you all this time.

It is the truth.

It is Ghost Mask!

Subtitles by DramaFever

I know about the Minister of the Left's evil deeds.

What does she know?

What you heard from Court Lady Ahn was about Prince Chuseong, right?

You are going to hide the fact that Ghost Mask was here?

You must capture him alive.

The rumors about the illicit relationship 10 years ago were all lies.

I will make those who did that to my mother pay for what they did.

Are you suspecting me?

Capture Ghost Mask for me.

I need to see him for myself.

Young Master Gyeon!
