Anyone can build a pool,

but these pools
are a little slice of paradise.

in Parkland, Florida,

and I'm going to meet
with the David family.

Yossi and Aviva David

really embody
the American dream,

how you can immigrate
to this country,

start with nothing,
build a great business,

you know,
become very successful.

It's very exciting
that I can, you know,

kind of continue their story
and build their dream.

We live in Parkland, Florida,
with our three kids --

Eden, Gal, Arthur.

We met in the Army
in Israel.

LUCAS: Wow, guys,
this is a big backyard.

It looks like you got
everything out here.

What do you need me for?

Look at the pool.

So, are you thinking
about remodeling this,

or do you want to rip it all out
and just totally start fresh?

We want to rip it
all out.

What other kind
of features are you looking for?

We want to move the spa
to another place

to make it bigger
and a nicer shape

that can fit
10 to 12 people inside.

All right, so you guys
do like to entertain, then?

Seems like that's kind
of your natural hangout area.

And so if you want shade,
maybe like a roof structure?

Actually,
we can extend the balcony

to sit under the shade.

LUCAS:
I really love Yossi David's idea

of extending
their master-bedroom balcony.

Really maximizing their space
upstairs,

but that also gives me
this great opportunity

to build a sunken
outdoor living space

and outdoor kitchen area
that'll be covered.

How about you, Eden?

What would I have
to do to the pool

to make you
want to get into it?

Big waterfalls, something
to, like, block out the noise

from the construction.

I can see, like, a nice
big waterfall right there

to block out
all the noise.

Also give you some more
privacy here.

How about, like, a grotto

where you can swim inside of it
and hang out inside the cave?

YOSSI:
Oh, that's gonna be awesome.

Almost, like,
where the hot tub is now,

but maybe moved back
a little bit further,

do a big spa.

Something really
freeform-shaped and natural.

Lots of jets,
big sun-shelf area

so you can kind of lay
out in the shallow water.

What else?

Add a waterslide.

-Waterslide?
-Yeah.

Lucas: Now, I don't particularly
like waterslides.

They kind of confine me

into having to follow
their directions,

but hey, at the end
of the day, I run a business.

If that's what the client wants,
that's what the client will get.

We are ready.

LUCAS:
Seeing the Davids so excited

gets me pumped to start working

on their new backyard
with my team.

Come check

This is gonna be one
of the sickest jobs

we've done to date.

Welcome to the David backyard.
-Nice.

The pool, the pavers,

everything's gonna
be coming out.

We get to start fresh.

It's right up
your alley, Crash.

You get to crash something.
-Yeah, I like that.

Well, let's start
tearing this place up.

JANE: All right,
let's get busy.

Like all old Florida pools,

there's like a million pink
pavers to demo out.

Doing it by hand
is way too slow,

so it's Crash to the rescue.

¶¶

LUCAS:
Before Crash gets too excited,

we need to remove
these palm trees.

Keep going,
keep going, keep going.

Think you're free.

We're going to repurpose them
and plant them

along the back of the yard for
more privacy

from the new houses
going in across the canal.

With the area clear, Crash
can do what he does best.

It's finally time to take out
the Davids' old pool.

There's nothing better
than taking it out

with a wrecking ball.

¶¶

LUCAS:
Crash has had his fun.

Now we can dig out
the new shape of the pool.

This pool is gonna require tons
of rebar,

so we're gonna actually have
to start laying it as we go.

¶¶

All right, guys.

Here's your final piece
to the puzzle.

It's time to start the plumbing.

Because of the volume
of water

that we're gonna be moving,
we had to use 6-inch pipe

to create large drains.

-We're done here.
-All right. That's that.

[ Beeping ]

LUCAS: With the plumbing
and rebar complete,

we bring in the gunite.

This pool is so massive,

we have to have two trucks
on standby in case we run out.

The Davids' pool will hold over
36,000 gallons of water,

so it's definitely one of
the biggest pools we've done.

¶¶

The gunite is cured and we take
delivery of 72 tons of stone

for all the rockwork
on this pool.

These things are gorgeous.

Well, let's get
this thing unloaded.

CHRIS: Some of these rocks
that Lucas ordered for this job,

they're huge.

One of our grotto lids
weighs 9,000 pounds.

I mean, our machines
just can't pick it up,

so we have to actually
use two machines.

All right, go.

We have the semi move out,

and then we try
to maneuver these rocks

into the backyard.

Wow!
This one's heavy!

All right,
you ready to do this?

Let's try it!

We have obstacles everywhere.

There's plumbing.

We have mud on the ground,

so the machine
is sliding around.

Take more weight
off of me!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
[Bleep]

It's starting to slide!
Go down!

Whoa!

Today at the David job,
it's rock day.

Well, me and Lucas, we got
this 9,000-pound grotto rock,

and we're trying to move
through an obstacle course

going backwards,

and I can't really see anything.

I thought everything was fine,
thought everything was good.

And then all of a sudden --

Whoa!
Ah [bleep]

Frickin' A!
That beautiful rock!

LUCAS: This rock is one of
the lids for this huge grotto.

Ugh!

Fortunately, only a small piece
broke off,

and I think I can cover
the break

with the other grotto lids.

¶¶

Now we're gonna set
the first rock

that's gonna set up
the foundation

for this double grotto.

All right,
first one sets the pace.

JANE: Keep going!

All right.

All right, it's set.

You ready for the next one?

Yeah, I'm gonna need a little
more mud, though.

Mud is what we use to bond
together our rocks.

It a mixture of sand, cement,
and a colored dye

that ensures a natural and
seamless look for a rockwork.

There you go,
there you go.

LUCAS: The grotto foundation
is in good shape,

so we move on to the spa
and spillway.

JANE:
The goal on the spillway

is to create almost
like a little stream effect,

maybe have a few little falls

here and there
around the spa wall.

LUCAS: Our grotto foundation has
set overnight,

and we're ready to cap
the massive twin grotto.

We couldn't possibly lift
this 9,000-pound rock

9 feet in the air
with our two machines,

so we had to call
in the big guns.

[ Beeping ]

A crane that can go up
to 90 feet?

Oh, yeah.
-Yeah. Alright.

Just come down.

The first lid is in,

and I'm starting
to get really excited.

Spin it around 180.

¶¶

That's easy.

-Got it?
-Yeah, yeah.

All right,
I guess we're good.

We're gonna finish this grotto
with the rock we cracked.

The last rock of the day!

Down.

LUCAS: In the end,
it fit perfectly.

Alright, let me take a look.

Oh, yeah, you guys.
That looks awesome!

We have finished the rockwork

just in time for our
water slide to be delivered.

¶¶

The slide was delivered
in three pieces,

so the guys need to assemble it,
caulk it,

and put it into place
on the grotto.

All right, in order
to naturalize this slide,

we're gonna put all kinds
of natural stone around it

and faux-paint it
to match our rock.

-Nice job.
-All right.

Meanwhile, the rest of the crew

is making progress
on the sunken living area.

And we're ready to start
the extension

of the upstairs balcony.

This balcony will be built
just like a pool,

starting with wood forms,
followed by rebar and concrete.

Now we just have a few
more things to do

before showing this waterpark
to the Davids.

We're painting the slide so it
blends better with the grotto.

And we're installing
the kitchen appliances,

including a pizza oven
for family and friends.

¶¶

The pool is finished,

and I'm sure
the Davids can't wait to see it.

Are you ready?

One, two, three.

-Oh, my God.

YOSSI:
This is our yard?

Yeah.

Unbelievable.
Look at the waterfall.

That hot tub's about the size
of your old pool.

I never saw the potential
of this yard.

It's beyond my expectations.

Just so you guys know,

most grottos get,
like, one grotto lid,

like,
one of these big rocks.

This one, it took four
of 'em to cover the whole thing.

Instead of it just
being like a cave,

it's almost
like a tunnel.

Of course,
you've got these nice

wide stairs
to walk up easily,

some little windows
to peek into the cave.

And then all the way
to the top.

Look how much space
there is up here.

I mean, you got
the waterslide to go down.

Which of you guys
is gonna be the first one

to jump off the cave?

This is where you can do
all your outdoor living.

Your sunken outdoor
entertaining space.

I mean, there's no reason

to ever have
to leave this space.

LUCAS: Across the country
in Sacramento, California,

Brett, Garian
and their three kids are ready

to create a backyard fun
zone of their own.

That was fantastic.

GARIAN:
We have a lot of property,
and the kids are very active.

They like to go out and play
and climb on trees.

-Here, Brownie.
-Feed the animals.

Being outside in the California
sun during the summer

is a little intense
sometimes.

So we thought, okay,
it's time to have a pool.

BRETT: I think it would be
fun to have a place

that I could grill outside

or a place
that we can spend time together.

[ Laughter ]

¶¶

LUCAS: This pool design is going
to give the Flemings

everything they've ever wanted

while still preserving the
natural beauty of their land.

The focal point will be
this giant grotto waterfall.

It's made out of
local Sierra boulders

to tie perfectly
into the countryside.

Flanking the grotto is not one,
but two giant waterslides.

These dueling slides
are over 35 feet long,

and will send riders
cascading down that hillside.

Across the pool
will be a 10 person spa

attached to the outdoor kitchen
by a swim up bar.

The outdoor kitchen will
allow them to serve drinks

and food poolside.

This crew has a huge pool
to dig

and a 12-foot mountain to build.

So the excavator wastes no time
breaking ground on this build.

¶¶

Meanwhile, the first load
of boulders arrives.

Right there is good.

This build will require
200 tons of rock.

That is some impressive
rock there.

¶¶

Forms are set.
Rebar is installed,

and they begin shooting gunite
into this massive pool.

¶¶

And those boulders
just keep coming.

The crew hoists these humongous
stones carefully into place.

JOHN:
That really looks good.

The boulders are set,
but the hard work continues.

These slides are
a real challenge.

Every piece has to be muscled
into place

and perfectly aligned,
or the slide could end up

being a very bumpy ride.

The slides are in place.

The concrete decking is laid in,

and the pool
is ready for interior finish.

As this gigantic pool
comes together,

there's only one thing left
to figure out --

how to fill it.

Normally, the homeowner's
water source would be used

to fill the pool,
but this home uses a well system

that only pumps 10 gallons
per minute.

It would take three days
to fill the pool at that rate.

So the crew brings
in two big tanker trucks

to knock it out in no time.

¶¶

The pool is filled and the crew
raises the roof

over the outdoor living area
and finishes off the interior.

This family is in
for one heck of a surprise.

¶¶

Fleming family,
here's your new

country resort!

Oh, my gosh!

LUCAS: This northern California
super-slide oasis

is ready for its reveal.

-That is so cool.

BRETT: That's amazing.

LUCAS: I know the family is
going to love

the 35-foot
dueling waterslides.

¶¶

There's not going to be any
waiting in line

when you guys want to go
on down.

We're gonna be racing a lot.

¶¶

Inside your mountain,
we have got a massive grotto.

That way, you guys are going to
be able to hide, seek.

Good cave.
Look at it.

LUCAS: On top of the grotto,
there's a huge flat rock

to jump off of
five foot above the water.

It's gonna be awesome.

Who do you think is gonna
make the biggest cannonball?

-Dad!
-Me?

[ Laughter ]

So many rocks.
It looks so natural.

LUCAS: The rock is all Sierra
boulders and can only be found

in Northern California,
Sierra Nevada Mountains.

And it looks right at home
on their beautiful property.

I just love how it blends in
with our countryside.

I like the hot tub
with the TV view.

You've got a 20-by-25-foot
cabana.

Over 450 square foot.

That's going to be some fun
grilling and chilling for you.

I love that.

LUCAS:
To ensure the outdoor living
area blends in with their home.

They match the stucco color
and roof from the house.

BRETT: It's beautiful.

Did we give you
your California country resort

that you always wanted?

-Absolutely. Yep.
-Absolutely.

We'll be out here
every day.

Before this pool, our backyard
was just dry and crunchy.

[ Dog barks ]

But now we have this oasis
in our backyard and I love it.

The two slides are awesome.

The slides are
really fast.

I wasn't really gearing
towards Hawaii or tropical.

I wanted it to match
our landscaping,

and this pool did that --
just a little oasis

in our backyard
and I love it.

LUCAS: Back east in Franklin,
Tennessee,

the Yarbrough family
is settling into

their forever home.

AMY: Are you swimming,
pretending your in it?

We love this house,

but there is one thing
that we are missing,

and that is...
-A pool!

Because the pool was such
a big part of our grand scheme,

you know, I feel like once
the backyard is finally done,

my forever home that we've
dreamed about all these years

will be done.

That's all we need.
Pool.

LUCAS:
This pool is going to have
something for the whole family.

The kids are going to
absolutely love the huge slide

that snakes through
the massive stone waterfall.

For mom, there's
a large sun shelf

for relaxing while keeping
an eye on the kids.

The front of the pool

will feature
an infinity edge spillway.

The design is completed
with a built-in stone firepit

and plenty of seating.

The immediate challenge is
the steep elevation of the yard.

The crew starts by digging out
a place for a retaining wall

to hold back the side yard.

¶¶

With that complete, they can
dig out the rest of the pool.

¶¶

MAN: It's gonna be awesome.
They're gonna be super excited.

LUCAS: Rebar and plumbing
get installed,

and the crew shoots in
the gunite.

Now it's gonna turn
into something

that everybody can tell
looks like a pool

instead of a hole
in the ground.

The gunite is hand-sculpted
into the shape

of this water masterpiece.

The huge brick retaining wall

is built to hold back
the tons of earth behind it.

Now they can start
on the heart of the build,

the extra long slide
and natural stone waterfall.

It's got
three turns in it.

This thing's got 200
gallons per minute

that's going gonna
come down the slide.

I cannot wait to see
the kids in here.

It'll be fun. Fun part's not
gonna be putting it together.

No, that's gonna be
the hard part.

Try and push down
on a little bit.

No, don't do it anymore
than that.

That's it.

LUCAS:
Over 80 tons of stone

is brought in to
create this gorgeous waterfall.

That's good-looking rock.
I like it.

Easy, easy.

Nice and slow.

Twist the whole rock this way,
this way.

-Just a little.
-Right there. Right there.

Okay. Now, if you can
get it down a little.

That's perfect
right there.

Let's test the water.
I hope this works.

Now they have a waterfall.

[ Laughter ]

Over 50 pallets of pavers

are used to surround
the pool and patio area.

The crew was able to add
an additional surprise

for the Yarbroughs,

an outdoor kitchen
and living room,

complete with a huge grill,
hidden TV and a bed swing.

Plaster and landscaping ties
everything together.

Tell you what,
that makes a big difference.

It does.
It makes a huge difference.

And of course,
you need water.

After a lot of hard work,
this backyard has been

transformed into the ultimate
resort-style pool.

-RYAN: Oh, my goodness.
-AMY: Okay.

Oh, my goodness.

AMY: You guys!

Oh, my goodness,
look at this!

-[ Laughs ]
-Oh!

Oh, my goodness!

RYAN: Wow.

Look at that.

-That is huge!
-That is unbelievable.

Look at that slide!

LUCAS:
There's so much to take in.

But that tanning ledge looks
like the perfect place to relax.

I love the umbrella.

We've got a little,
almost like a diving board,

built in out there.

LUCAS: And a hidden grotto
with a love seat nestled inside.

RYAN: No way. No way.

And it's big enough
to fit both you guys in it.

Really, really dramatic.

AMY: The colors are perfect,
grays and neutrals.

I love the look
of that infinity edge.

LUCAS: A natural pathway up
the hill and through the stream

takes you to the water slide
at the top.

-RYAN: Nice.
-AMY: That's so cool.

How fun is that!

Look at this slide,
you guys.

LUCAS: It's an epic
31 feet long.

It is huge!

MAN: It's got its own power
park in our backyard.

200-some-odd gallons
a minute.

It's like
a waterpark slide.

But there's more surprises
in store.

Why is there a kitchen?!

With excitement like that,

we have to check out
the surprise kitchen.

Take a look at this.

I didn't think I was
getting a kitchen.

Her reaction to the kitchen

makes all the hard work
worth it.

We can't figure out
what we wanted to do with this.

I didn't expect
to be speechless.

She was able to find some
stones, some rock and some tile

cheaper than what
I would normally get it for.

So we took that money in the
budget and we put it here.

We're making a lot of changes
to their lives.

They have their first baby boy
on their way

in the midst of building
a brand-new house.

And it's going to be
a big, crazy house.

So they're going to need
a big crazy pool.

I'm a PGA Tour golfer.

When I'm not playing
on the course,

I like to be playing
at home.

Because of J.B.'s job,

you know, they're traveling
around the world all the time.

How often are you gone?

I mean, 30, 32
weeks a year.

So for them, their vacation is
actually to come home and relax.

So we've got to make this pool
just incredible for them.

What are the, like,
the features and amenities

you'd like to see incorporated
in the design?

I mean, I've always wanted
a slide.

I was thinking a waterfall,
maybe have the slide

come around
the waterfall or something.

I think slides are fun at
a theme park, but they're ugly.

J.B. wants a slide,
so I'll give him a slide.

I just got to come up with a way
to make it look

a little bit more natural.

We'd like to have
an area of the pool

where you could play basketball
and volleyball.

You want a shower
to lay out.

Yeah, somewhere where the kid
can kind of splash and play.

-Yeah.
-You're good at what you do.

So just go ahead
and wow us.

All right. Yeah.

J.B. is like a big kid,

and that's what this pool
needs to reflect.

Fun and just an exciting place
to hang out.

It seems to me like it makes
sense to do a free form pool.

Yeah. Something more natural
to kind of fit the landscape.

Right. Maybe we have the spa
almost kind of front and center.

We can almost split the pool
in two.

Maybe we do like
this long lineal fire feature

that's kind of really organic.

The sports area,
like three foot deep here

and then do another pool
come over here.

J.B.:
Yeah, that'd be cool.

If you're playing a game

and somebody else
wants to be lounging

or playing in the pool,
it's still usable.

You can kind of do both
at the same time.

That's actually a great idea.
I didn't think of that.

Sun-shelf area here,

and this would be all like
the grotto area in here.

LUCAS: We'll use large pillar
rocks as natural columns,

giving us three entrances
with tons of places to explore.

Cool. You can swim,
actually swim into it

and go somewhere
that would give you -- yeah.

Yeah, if we can
get it done

at about the same time
as the house.

Now that J.B. and Erica
have signed off on the designs

for their new retreat,
it's time to get this job going.

We plan to dig out
over 300 yards of dirt

to start this massive pool.

But being so close
to the water has its challenges.

I'm really concerned right now

that the water retention
in the soil

is going to cause the walls of
the pool to keep caving in.

There goes the ground
just falling into the hole.

I knew digging this big pool
next to this lake

was going to be an issue,

but it's definitely a bigger
issue than I thought.

The ground's very unstable.
It just keeps falling in on us.

¶¶

What we're going to have to do
is overdig

and completely form the pool
out of the ground

from the deep end
all the way up.

¶¶

After we get everything dug
in there,

we bring in all the rebar.

That gives us like the backbone
of our pool.

The Holmes, they want
to free-form pool,

which is actually a lot harder
because it comes back and forth.

So it's a very challenge versus
just like normal straight pools.

LUCAS:
That challenge will all be
worth it for that natural look.

CHRIS:
Now we've got all the steel in,
we're ready for some gunite.

We're putting a lot of weight
on this pool.

He almost put 200 yards
of gunite in this.

LUCAS:
That's enough to build over
five normal swimming pools.

CHRIS:
This pool is big. It's strong.

It's a cement monster.
It's a steel monster.

This thing's gonna be a rock
monster by the time we get done.

LUCAS: Speaking of rock...

Got some nice rocks.

...we got a ton of rockwork
going in here

at the Holmes build.

I mean, we got this
giant...rock around.

We got this huge grotto.

We got waterfalls
on either side of the slide.

So we're using Tennessee
fieldstone.

It's cleaner, it stacks easier.

It's safer for building grottos.

Just the perfect rock
for this build.

¶¶

Come to me a little bit,
actually.

Things are just flying,
we're in the groove.

Feeling really good.

¶¶

It's time
for the big pillar rocks.

We've got it strapped up
and we're ready to go.

These are definitely trickier
to set

because they're
standing up on end.

If we don't set these perfectly,

they could tip
into the pool shell

and bring
this entire project to a halt.

It looks good.
Let it rest a little.

Perfect.

Final pillar.
We're on a roll.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

Just let it --
now come down.

-Baby, down now.

Look.

Now that the base of this
grotto is finally secure,

we can finish
this rock masterpiece.

Time to put the lids on.

Alright. Let's do it.

We got one shot at this.

If this rock doesn't come down
perfectly level,

those two pillar rocks

could easily
get knocked into the pool shell.

That can't happen.

Take him down.

Very slow,
slower, even slower.

Okay.

One grotto let down.
One more to go.

set in one day.

With the waterfall build,

I'm beginning to rethink
the slide design.

This slide has been bothering me
from Day One.

It's gonna be like this eyesore

in the middle of my beautiful
grotto and waterfalls.

Instead of an open slide,
let's do a tube slide.

Then we could completely
cover the slide in rock

so you don't see
the ugly frickin' thing.

All right, let's do it, guys.

Let's see what it looks like.

Every time we've done an install
of a slide,

it has caused issues, whether
in the construction of it,

positioning of it.

Lucas really
doesn't like slides.

That looks easy enough.

[Bleep] Hold on.

Whoa, whoa.
Keep it up.

Something is
really wrong here.

This just confirms
why I hate slides.

I never want to do
a slide again.

Get in that slide,
Old Man.

Oh, you're doing so good.
Just keep pushing.

We got the slide built.

And just like I thought,

it looks like a big ugly
plastic tube.

Alright, guys. It's in.

So now we've got to
cover it with rocks

and then nobody will
ever even know it's there.

Oh, yeah.
I like it.

Oh, yeah.
That's what I'm talking about.

I can't believe I'm saying this,
but I love

how the slide turned out.

And to further camouflage it,

we're adding cypress wood
as a frame around the exit.

It finishes off the slide,
keeping it in the theme

of never wanting to grow up.

It looks really good.

We're almost done
with the Holmes project.

Along with finishing
the spire feature

and the spillways
for the hot tub,

we're laying about 4,000 square
foot of flagstone decking.

When we're all done, it's going
to look like a huge mosaic

that surrounds the pool.

For this pool, we're using a
Caribbean blue interior finish.

I think it's going to
look perfect in this space.

We're finally ready
to fill it up with water

and turn on the waterfalls.

The grotto
is a lot bigger.

It's really just --

I love this little area.

You got bench seating
inside the pool.

J.B.: Being able to use that
area for kind of all ages

is going to be really good.

We did something a little bit
different right here.

We use these pillars
to kind of save on space.

There's really a lot of room
to kind of navigate through.

Yeah, looks like you could fit
a lot of people in there.

It's really big.
It looks awesome.

I know one of the huge things
for you is having a slide.

But I didn't want to see the
slide, so I went ahead

and covered
the whole thing with rock.

It almost looks like kind of
like a mine shaft

where the slide kind of busts
through that wood.

That's awesome.

I think Luke has hit the spot
on the fun.

I think we're going to be able
to have a lot of fun there

with family, friends,
and Tucker will be excited.

So, Erica, this whole area
is all about you.

ERICA: Awesome.

I really look at this
as almost two pools in one.

J.B., you wanted a side to just,
you know, play sports.

And, Erica, you really wanted,
like, a relaxing side.

So you got a couple lounge
chairs for you guys,

get some drinks on ice.
You can just relax in the spa.

I wanted to plant some palms
over the spa

to help give you
a little bit of shade

to be just a beautiful setting
for this magnificent house.

This spot is awesome.
It's so big.

It's got the waterfalls
coming down.

I am so pumped to use it.

Tucker will be able to learn to
swim and get used to water.

We did a sun shelf
for my boys

who were really young
and just playing in there

and getting comfortable
with the water

and not having it scare you
was such a great thing.

ERICA: Yeah. Really awesome
that Tucker

will be able to use it
throughout his childhood.

This has definitely hit the nail
on the head

with the vacation-at-home
feel.

It's just perfect.

Definitely feel like
he's created

the ultimate backyard
for us.

in Creedmoor, North Carolina,

the Harrison family is busy
building their dream home.

We've been building our house
for a little over two years.

So this is going to be
our forever home.

The pool was one of the things
that we've always wanted.

Being able to have
our family and friends over

to entertain them
in the pool area

is just a lot of fun.

LUCAS: Don't worry, Megan. This
backyard will have everything.

There's a beautiful tanning
ledge that's lined with stones.

They'll act as stepping stones
across the edge of the pool.

The tanning ledge will have the
perfect view of the waterfall

with a wraparound slide.

And the whole thing
is framed beautifully

with two giant fire features.

This spa will be big enough
for the whole family.

And on the other side of the spa
is a floating rock table

surrounded with bar stools
and bench seating.

A truly unique feature.

The open-air pool house

will be the perfect spot
to entertain friends and family.

It comes with everything --
kitchen,

living room, fireplace,
you name it, it's there.

Building the pool during
house construction

gives the opportunity
for innovation.

The Harrisons have a boiler
that they're going to use

to heat their house and water.

So the pool design
is going to take advantage

by plumbing in their boiler
into the pool

to heat the pool and spa

without costing the Harrisons
anything extra.

With the right equipment,
it doesn't take long

for this massive family
fun pool to take shape.

The trucks start rolling in
and they shoot

over eight truckloads of gunite
to form this epic retreat.

John, everything turned out
really, really well today.

I agree.

While the gunite cures,
the pool house is going up.

This outdoor oasis
is coming together beautifully.

It's slide time.
Assembling slides can be tricky.

They were smart to choose
a slide that comes

in one solid piece.

The crew will carefully cement
the slide into place

and adjust the angle
and slope before it sets.

If it's tilted too much
or too little,

water can pool at the bottom
even when the slide isn't on.

Is it holding or need
to go all out?

Yeah. Water's fine.

The floating rock table
is formed to look

just like Tennessee fieldstone

and has been perfectly smoothed
then leveled.

1, 2, 3.

It take seven guys
to move this massive

700-pound tabletop
into its permanent spot.

That's perfect
right there.

And once it's finished,

it'll look like
it's floating on the water.

A few weeks and a few
finishing touches later,

this family fun zone
is ready for action.

is the waterslide,

giving the kids a waterpark
in their own backyard.

Dad, the slide is so cool!

their party pavilion.

out there on the table

and be cool
at the same time.

CHRIS: You know, another place

right here in the spa.

Absolutely.

I love that.

And look at the action
of that spa.

It looks very comfortable.

LUCAS: That spa
is all about relaxation.

Plus, the vanishing edge
next to the spa

not only frames the back
of the pool perfectly,

but gives serene water noise
to truly destress.

It looks like the pool
just doesn't end.

It just kind of flows
with the land.

This is amazing.

We had thought
of a pool out here,

but we would have
never imagined this.

This is beyond
our expectations.

More than more
than we could ever ask for.

Dream house, now a dream pool.

I know this family will
create fun-filled memories

for years to come.
