Anyone can build a pool,

but these pools
are a little slice of paradise.

LUCAS: Today, I've traveled
just north of Miami

to Plantation, Florida.

We're going to meet clients
Jade and Brennen Hamilton.

immediately, we're in, like,
a courtyard area --

already thinking about
what I can do there.

I see there is
an existing pool.

It's a great space back here.

Are you thinking about ripping
everything out, starting over,

or do you want to try to remodel
what you have here?

I don't really think there's
anything wrong with the --

the structure
of the pool right now...

-Right.
-...so if we could salvage it

and save a little bit of money,
that would be ideal.

The spa doesn't work.

What are some of
the specific features

and amenities
you're thinking about?

You know, fire, waterfall,
spa -- anything specific?

Everything you just said.
Everything I just said.

With an emphasis on waterfalls
and grottos.

Grottos on top of grottos.

I would love to put
a volleyball court over there,

and maybe, like,
a little outdoor shower

so you can
rinse off the sand,

and then come in
when you're all sweaty

and just play in the pool.

And who doesn't
love volleyball?
Right.

LUCAS: What is the space -- what
do you want it to feel like?

Yeah, we actually went
to Costa Rica a couple times,

and we absolutely loved
it there.

It's untouched, it's
a lot of rainforest, it's pure.

Their motto there is pura vida,
which is "pure life."

We live
very fast-paced lives,

and to get away
from the everyday stress,

we would love to be able
to just escape

and feel, like,
as we were in Costa Rica

and just completely tune
everything out and just relax.

Let me kind of explore the yard,
get some ideas going.

If you want to relax
for a little bit,

I'll come get you
when I'm ready.

LUCAS: The Hamiltons really want
a backyard paradise

where they can retreat
and relax.

The tight space definitely
presents some challenges,

but I think I've got
the perfect solution

to bring Costa Rica
to coastal Florida.

Come out here, guys.
I want to show you from up here.

BRENNEN: Alright.

Alright, so, here's
what I'm thinking, guys.

You wanted waterfalls?
You got waterfalls

from one side of the pool
to the other --

all waterfalls right here.

Nice.
Yes.

I really want to go big
with these.

But the building code
won't allow us to build above

that six-foot wall.

But since the spa doesn't work,
I want to rip it out

and build these waterfalls
from the pool floor up,

which will give them
a beautiful swim-in grotto.

Then we're gonna have
more palm trees around here,

beach entry,
palms down there,

artificial turf decking
around the pool.

But under this covered area is
gonna be all travertine decking.

And last but not least,
the spa.

Imagine this --
huge hot tub right here, man.

I mean, water
from wall to wall to wall,

island in the middle...
Yes.

...Huge palm tree.
Yes.

I mean,
this is the destination.

Yes. Yes.
I like it.

So, this is
one big hot tub?

Yeah, man,
with a huge water wall

to totally give it
that Costa Rican vibe.

Wow. Amazing!
Let's do it.

The Hamiltons have signed off
on the design

of their Costa Rican
waterfall paradise.

Now it's time
to get my team in here

and bring this backyard
to life.

Dude, these guys are super
cool -- young family, energetic.

They're looking to relax
when they come back here,

so we're taking
this concrete jungle,

and turning it into
a Costa Rican rainforest.

Is this pool
coming out?

We're actually gonna try to work
with this existing pool.

So that's
our biggest challenge.

Even though we aren't
ripping out the old pool,

there's still tons
of demo to be done.

CHRIS: The Hamiltons' backyard
is a real tight space,

and access
is gonna be an issue.

Before we can start demo,
we got to knock down this wall

so we can get
our equipment in.

Here we go, guys!

Boo-yah!

LUCAS: We removed the concrete
fountain in the courtyard,

and then it's Crash's time
to shine.

Now it's time to remove what
seems like 50 billion pavers.

¶¶

LUCAS: While my team
is busy with demo,

I'm meeting with
a local pool-shell expert.

He came by to inspect
the property a few days ago

and finally has the results.

LUCAS: I hope you have
some good news for me.

I got some good news
and some bad news.

I got some good news
and some bad news.

The good news is the rock
permit, I should have tomorrow.

The bad news is we got
this geotech report,

the soil report.
Right.

It's undesirable as far as what
holds up the new addition

we're doing with all
the waterfall and the rock.

So, what
does that mean?

The option that needs to be done
is some helical piles

put in that area to support
our structure for the rockwork.

So now we're gonna have to
install helical piles.

Basically, we're creating a
solid foundation to build upon.

Well, now we just need to meet
with Brennen and Jade,

bring them up to speed.

So, basically, structurally,
this pool sucks.

The soil
isn't strong enough

to support
any additional weight,

so what we have to do
is add helical piles

that screw down into the Earth
until you get to solid ground.

Then when we retie the rebar,

we tie it into
those helical piles

so we have a solid foundation
for the grottos.

So, we're not putting any more
pressure on this pool,

'cause you put that pressure
on this pool,

and it's gonna go...

I'm glad that we're gonna do
whatever it takes

to make sure that the pool
and the structure of it

can support
all the rocks.

Before we can move forward,

Crash has to get those
helical piles in place.

¶¶

Now that they're in,
we can really get rolling

with the rebar and gunite.

We're using over 3,500 feet
of heavy-duty rebar

to support all the rockwork.

¶¶

Once the pool is formed,

we'll be ready for
my favorite part -- rockwork.

Oh, man,
I think I see rocks.

Alright, guys,
we got our Tennessee rock here.

You ready to start
building Costa Rica

in the Hamiltons'
backyard?

I'm ready.
These are beautiful rocks.

Let's do it!

LUCAS: Access to this backyard
is very limited.

So we bring in a huge crane
which will be used to lift

these
several-thousand-pound rocks

and lower them into the yard.

The placement of the first rock
is crucial

and ensures a solid foundation.

Everything continues to stack on
until we get to the grotto lid.

Grotto time, baby!

This grotto lid is made up
of eight huge, flat stones.

Alright, straight down.

Alright, guys, let's
hang on it to bring it down.

JANE: Yeah. Ohh!
There you go.

Tuck it in!

This looks great!
One down, seven more to go!

Guys, this
looks awesome, man.

I mean,
look at this thing.

It is beautiful.

With the massive
waterfall grotto complete,

it's time to turn our attention
to the spa.

This is a really intricate water
wall with hundreds of rocks

jammed into a really tight space
going really high.

It's just super challenging.

Head down.
I'll hold it and swing it in.

Next, Crash and Old Man are
installing this rain curtain.

I just can't wait to see
that effect.

It's really gonna make it feel
like a rain forest

as you're stepping
into the spa.

With the rain curtain installed,

we crown the spa
with a palm tree.

It's beautiful there.

You know a project is close
to completion

when it's time for
interior finish.

This pool is going to be
absolutely stunning

when it's full of water.

We're laying artificial turf
around the pool

and adding greenery
to soften up all that rockwork

and turn this backyard
into a Costa Rican jungle.

It's time to fill this baby up.

we got water!

This pool holds 22,000 gallons
of water,

and the spa adds
another 5,000 gallons.

So this tropical twosome
is going to take

several days to fill.

Meanwhile, the team and I
do all the final touches.

The inspiration
that started it all --

you get a really good look
at this courtyard.

Oh, my God.

Courtyard turned spa,
I should say.

Officially the largest hot tub
I ever built, and you got it.

Now you can look through
your windows from inside

and be immersed
in this Costa Rican paradise.

But it doesn't stop there.

A whole nother yard.

And the volleyball court.

JADE: I'm really amazed
at how Lucas surpasses

all of your expectations,
brings everything to life,

and I couldn't even --
I couldn't be more happy.

I mean, one of the biggest
grottos we've ever done,

definitely the biggest spa

absolutely loving the pool.

The dog's swimming,

the kids are jumping
off the rocks.

This is
a dream come true.

Just a few hours north
in Apollo Beach, Florida,

another family is hoping to turn
their backyard by the bay

into the ultimate hangout spot
for family and friends.

We love to entertain.
We have all this space out here

to have everyone over
all at once.

It's just gonna
be wonderful.

JACK: All these things
that we've worked hard for

and designed as a family

and looked forward to for
the last couple years.

I just can't wait to actually
get in here and enjoy it.

Now we're gonna have a pool.

All my friends are gonna
want to come over,

and I'm bringing
everybody over.

So excited.

LUCAS: This entire backyard
is getting a major makeover,

complete with several
infinity-edge waterfalls

and plenty of fire bowls.

The entire design centers
around a trough

running all the way
from the house to the pool.

This element will draw your eye
over the water to the horizon.

The spa will sit elevated
so anyone in it

can take in the incredible view.

That spa spills
into a Roman tub

before emptying
into the main pool.

Top it all off
with a patio fire pit,

and this pool
is definitely a show-stopper.

This is where the fun begins.

LUCAS: Construction of this pool
is a massive undertaking.

When it's finished,

it will measure more than
1,400 square feet.

¶¶

And with a project
this big underway,

the Owens family is anxious
to get their first glimpse.

-How you guys doing today?
-Good. How are you?

-Good.
-Great.

CHRIS: We're not quite done,
but close.

So that trough that goes all
the way to the reflection pool,

that that will be squared
off of this.

So when you open
your front door,

it's a straight line
all the way down.

It's going to look great.

We'll get this thing wrapped up.

LUCAS: A pool this big is going
to require tons of concrete.

Literally.

It takes over
180 tons of concrete

just to make the pool shell.

Once these guys get everything
nice and smooth,

they can start installing
the coping and tile.

Hey, it's looking good, Gary.
I like the color.

I think it's really going
to pop with this travertine.

Yeah, for sure.

LUCAS: The Owens' picked a
gorgeous iridescent tile

to go with all
the white travertine.

The contrast of the blue tile
with the white coping

is going to accent the pool
and set the whole backyard off.

You see that reflection in that?
Oh, my gosh.

It's amazing.

That tile
definitely packs a punch

under the rippling waterline,
just like the pool's finish.

They decided on
a pebble-finished plaster

to complete the look
of their dream pool.

¶¶

The last step -- Fill it up.

The pool is finally finished.

The fire pits are working
and the fountains are on.

And now it's time to see
what the Owens family

thinks of
their new party destination.

of this day for a long time.

so it's gonna have to be
wireless, but you're okay.

LUCAS: The spa's infinity edge

flows right into
a Roman tub below

before emptying
into the main pool.

GIRL: We definitely need to get
some lounge chairs

so me and my mom can lay out
and tan all the time, girl time.

Yes. I'm looking forward

LUCAS: On the other side
of the yard,

there are even more surprises
for the Owens family.

ANGELA: Oh, wow.
Look at the bubblers.

They look so good.

KYLE: Every one of these --
you can adjust the heights up.

The whole time, this is what
we worked so hard to do.

We wanted to invite everybody
from your front door,

from water to water to water
to the ultimate water,

right out in your backyard.

LUCAS: Seems like
the only thing left to do

is for the Owens family

to test out their brand-new
insane pool.

-How's the water feel?
-It feels good.

We're very excited the way
the pool turned out.

It's way more than
we ever expected.

JACK: Is this enough bling

It's more than enough.

It's definitely
over-the-top.

LUCAS: In my opinion,

over the top is
the only way to go.

On the opposite coastline
in San Clemente, California,

the Soliday family
was going for over the top,

but they've hit rock bottom.

We've always had a yard
big enough for a pool.

We were about halfway through
with the demo,

realized we were in
way over our heads.

And so I would
love a backyard

that would allow our living
space to expand considerably.

It's all as one.

We're really
kind of wasting

this beautiful view
that we have.

It really needs to have
a creative

design to take advantage
of what's there.

That is one view
that definitely

needs to be highlighted.

And this pool design
will do exactly that.

This design allows you
to have a straight view

out over the backyard, to the
mountains and valley below.

The outdoor kitchen
and California living room

is tucked
under the patio

so there's no chance of blocking
any of that beautiful horizon.

And what better way to take
in that incredible view

than a raised spa with
a 360-degree infinity edge?

Next to the spa
could be a deck platform

for additional seating.

But the kids need
a safe place to play,

so a Baja shelf with bubblers

should fit the family's needs
perfectly.

It's a winning combination.

So demo on this backyard
can finally begin.

I mean, continue.

The forms are set in no time,

and this pool
is finally being dug out.

¶¶

The crew move straight
into rebar, then shotcrete.

¶¶

And before you know it,
the pool shell is formed

and ready for coping.

¶¶

I love that they're using
a poured-in-place coping

for this pool.

It will really give
that clean, modern look

that you can't quite get
with manufactured coping.

Once the coping dries, it's time
to bring the design to life

with gorgeous blue tile
and then finish off the look

with a deep-blue plaster
inside the pool.

Now that the pool is complete,

the low-profile landscaping
can be planted.

The Solidays are all
about outdoor living,

so the design includes not one
but two patios.

One's tucked away
on the pool deck,

and the other is
a second-floor patio,

perfect for taking in
that stunning view.

We really have almost built

a whole extension
onto the house here.

MAN: Well, tell me,
that view was worth it.

Glass panels are used
instead of railing to preserve

that amazing view.

With all
the finishing touches complete,

it's time for the Solidays
to see the backyard

they've always dreamed of.

about outdoor living.

to see their California room
come to life.

It's just amazing.

Oh, I feel -- There's heaters
in the ceiling.

We wanted to make this feel like
a living room that was outside.

Take a look at your brand-new

That whole wall is actually
going to fall away

so that the inside being out,

well, there's not gonna be
any difference anymore.

To be honest,
it truly reminds me

of a tropical resort
in my own backyard.

LUCAS: And last but not least,
that million-dollar view

from the very top
of this mountain oasis.

Can you mentioned sunrise
and sunset up here?

Yes, I can.

This has been such
a massive transformation.

This went from the Soliday
backyard to Hotel Soliday.

I love it.

Finally seeing the realization
of what our house

and our yard could be
just absolutely blown away.

We could have never imagined
it could be this good.

I would say it didn't just
change the house,

it changed our lives.

I look forward
to the years to come.

Let's head back to
my home state of Florida,

where Jennifer Helling
and Kirby Huestis

have found
their forever home.

But the existing pool
isn't quite the paradise

they imagined
for their backyard.

Well, Lucas,
here it is.

-[ Laughs ]
-Definitely needs some updating.

Have you thought
about the style?

Well, that light right there

was the inspiration
of kind of the whole house.

We got that in Mexico,

and so we're kind of going for,
like, an old-world Mexico look.

Oh, cool.

We go to Mexico all the time,
and every time we go there,

it's so peaceful,
and it's so relaxing.

And I just wanted
to bring that home

so that our home felt like
we were going on vacation.

I love it.
It's very vibrant.

¶¶

I see a lot
going on back here.

Definitely have
a huge pool here,

but maybe not
enough deck space.

-Absolutely correct.
-Yeah.

-The spa is totally outdated.
-Uh-huh.

And the stairs
are dangerous, too.

They're very narrow.

Several of the kids have almost
fallen and slipped,

so they're just not usable.

LUCAS: It's built
right up against the house.

There's stairs everywhere
going to different doors.

I mean, I'm already thinking
this isn't a remodel.

This is a redo.

There are a few things
that I'd like.

Like,
I'd love to have a ledge

and you can put your chair right
in the water so you're not hot.

And this end of the pool
is really deep,

so if we did, you know,
like, a rock grotto

and the kids would be able
to jump off the rocks...

-Right.
-...that would be great.

Got it.
That's cool.

I guess you guys
really do love to live outdoors.

This is great.
So, you guys obviously have

a natural wood-burning fire pit
back here.

Is this something
you use a lot?

Me and the kids
actually do a lot of s'mores,

so I love it.
-Yeah.

LUCAS: I've never built
a Mexican-themed pool before,

but I'm excited
about the challenges,

and I can't wait to get started.

We're so excited.

The only problem is
I'm a little worried.

I don't think your friends
are gonna want to ever leave.

I know, right?
[ Laughter ]

The whole area is split up

because that pool's
sunken down.

So the space
would be a lot more usable

if we just built another pool
inside the one you have.

And then when we're done,

we'll back-fill the existing
pool and the new pool

and bring it all up
to that height.

And, you know, you're just
kind of all at the same level.

We're gonna
move the spa forward.

That way, you have all this
kind of deck space in here.

We'll do a natural stone
around it.

We'll turn that spillway
into, like, a natural stream

spilling down into the pool.

And I'm thinking
seating all along here.

Make a sun shelf
in this whole area

with a waterfall back here,

so not only do you have,
like, a shallow area to relax,

but you have the sound of
the waterfalls all around you.

-Right. Yeah. That's great.
-That'd be exciting. Yeah.

And then for this grotto,
you know,

it's all about the kids

being able to jump off
into the deep end,

kind of hang out
around there.

So I think I need to make
a pretty big grotto

with maybe, like, an entrance
from the sun shelf area.

And then
from different angles,

you want to be able
to kind of climb up the grotto

and jump back into the pool.

So, I was thinking
on top of the grotto,

it would be really cool

to do a fire feature up there.

That would be cool.

We'll make this as big
as we can up there,

and maybe put the fire feature
off to the side.

That's definitely gonna
feel like a Mexican resort.

I'm ready to bring the energy
and feel of a Mexican resort

to this tired, rundown backyard.

It's time to get to work.

Well, you guys all know

it's gonna get worse
before it gets better.

Let's start
tearing some stuff up

so we can build
this Mexican resort!

¶¶

Let's get to removing that cage

and start draining the pool.

There it goes.

By building the new pool
within the old pool,

we're saving a lot
of time and money

by not having to demo
the old pool shell

and the concrete deck.

Instead, we're going
to use a bunch of gravel

and the existing pool shell

as the foundation
to build the new pool in.

¶¶

From this point on,

we're still doing
all the steelwork

just the way we would normally.

The only difference

is we're working
inside of an existing pool.

I have a really big
design change

I kind of want to make
to this pool.

So I got to get Kirby out there,

make sure he's on board
with my changes.

LUCAS: Before, we were gonna
have the spa

kind of pushed over to the side
a little bit.

So I'm visualizing a champagne
spa in the middle,

meaning it spills 360 degrees
all the way around.

So that spa is, like,
the central focal point.

And then the backdrop
is that gorgeous grotto

and all the waterfalls
in the back.

So, Kirby,
before the shotcrete goes in,

do you like my ideas?

We're definitely on board.
Awesome.

Once that shotcrete is in place,

it's extremely hard to make
changes to the overall design.

But with Kirby's seal
of approval,

the team moves ahead,

and this Mexican resort pool
begins to take shape.

It's rock day.

I got 48 ton of rock
that just showed up.

To incorporate the fire feature
Jennifer wants,

this grotto is going to
have to be huge,

and it all starts
with a big foundation.

Alright, stand back
for this one.

Including one of

the biggest foundation rocks
we've ever used.

Whoa.

Okay.

Alright, it's looking good.

Man, we're off
to a great start,

and then the skies opened up.

We can't set rocks in the rain.
The mortar will wash away.

I'm going to go try
to strap up one rock.

Maybe we can just kind of
set 'em where they go.

And then that way,
when the rain stops,

we can just bang 'em out.

You're the boss.

LUCAS: Even with the rain,

I really want to try to
get these rocks in place

so we can keep this build

The time has come
to set the grotto rocks.

-Whoo-hoo!
-Yeah.

Typically
when we build our grottos,

it just takes one large rock
to kind of cap off the top.

This one's gonna be
a little bit different.

It's gonna actually
take multiple rocks

to create the top lid.

Alright.
Let's bring her over.

Try spinning it.

Just like that.

Getting multiple rocks
placed perfectly level

is no small undertaking.

JANE:
Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

Is there any way
we can get it to go over more?

Not without
cutting the rock.

Typically,
I try not to cut the stones,

because you don't want
to see a cut face.

It doesn't look natural.

But this grotto's so big,

we're having to piece it
in multiple lids.

We're actually abutting two cut
faces so you won't see them.

Now we have a nice, tight fit.

Oh, that looks good.

Jen has a last-minute request
to amp up

the living space
behind the pool.

I don't know. Just back here,
I'm just not really feeling it.

We've done
Koi ponds before.

I mean, we could do a stream
down into, like, a Koi pond.

That would be awesome, yeah.

Well, I mean,
this is a pretty major upgrade.

It's a whole new hole,
a whole new process.

Rebar, shotcrete, stone.

JENNIFER: It's worth it.

Think it's a pretty
freaking cool idea.

-Let's do it.
-Awesome.

With the last-minute change
to the back of this grotto,

it has to get done fast.

And I know the perfect person
for the job.

Lucas has put me in charge
of the Koi pond.

This section of build
happens to be more my expertise.

LUCAS: The build starts off
much like any other pool.

But Sunshine will know exactly

what the Koi need
to make their perfect home.

MATT: I went to school
for Marine biology.

So I have a lot of experience
with all of this.

Now, these little
bump-outs here,

we're gonna have some bigger
stones that come off of those

and then have some bigger rocks
come out from it

so that we could provide
extra shelter.

In Florida, there happens to be
a lot of different predators

which will prey on Koi.

¶¶

This is definitely a funky rock.

The fish will like it.

MATT: We're using a large rock
as a bridge

and it'll also
provide extra space

for the fish
to hide from predators.

We're going to seal it
with more of an epoxy paint

as opposed to a pool finish

being that when we use
a lot of concrete in there,

we can possibly kill the fish.

LUCAS: With the Koi pond
well on its way to completion,

it's time to bring in
a ton of sand

to cover the old pool deck

and raise the entire elevation
to be level with the new pool.

By eliminating all the different
elevations and the stairs,

we've added about 600 square
foot more of usable deck space

within the same area.

We're in the homestretch.

Palm trees are in,

fire features
are being installed,

and the Mexican-inspired mosaics

will put everything
over the top.

JANE: This backyard's gonna
be something else.

We've spent weeks
on this project,

and now it's finally down
to the finishing touches.

Our fishy friends seem
to love their new home.

Let's hope Kirby and Jen

feel the same about
their new backyard resort.

The water flowing
is just incredible.

Now, before, your spa
was over here.

We moved that to the middle
and created a champagne spa.

I love that idea.

all this space here.

-You notice, like, no steps.
-Got rid of the steps.

No steps.

Yeah, that was
a huge safety issue,

and it's more usable space.

As we kept working
this build,

I kept thinking
about that beautiful chandelier

and Mexico
and how mosaics

are just so much
a part of the culture, I think.

So if you actually turn
and look,

we did these mosaics here.

So you have, like, the birds
and the geckos and the flowers.

And there's over 300 hours

into just creating
these mosaics.

It's unbelievable.

Those are absolutely beautiful.

So we have
the fire bowls with the mosaics,

which at night, when we light up
all the fire features

and all the lighting
comes on,

it's going to be
like a Mexican fiesta.

out even better than expected.

and I could replicate

that Mexican resort for
and Kirby right here in Florida.

JENNIFER: Everything exceeded
our expectations.

Our entire theme
was the Mexican feel.

And we go to Mexico
all the time.

And so now we can just hang out
in our pool in the backyard

and feel like we're on vacation.

That's what I live for,
making people happy.

Heading back east to the hills
of Tennessee,

there's another pool
that's pushing the boundaries

between backyard retreat
and vacation resort.

And Leigh Gillig's plan
for her outdoor oasis

is a true family affair.

I have lived in this area
my whole life,

and all my sisters
are here as well.

We all grew up here.
We never moved away.

I'm currently building a home

that's in the same area
as my sister.

When this pool is done,
it is going to be fun time.

Here we come.

LUCAS: This tranquil
Tennessee paradise

will include all the glitz
and glam of a Vegas resort.

With three pools
flowing together

from three different levels,

there is something for every
family member to enjoy.

The spa will be
the crowning jewel,

flanked with tanning shelves
on either side

and a tranquil spillway
into the main pool.

Another four-foot drop down

completes
the tri-level structure

and ends with a scenic fire pit
at the base.

This showstopping design
includes not one, not two,

but six fire features

surrounding the outer rim
of the pool,

and no resort is complete
without an outdoor kitchen.

This is one backyard design

that will be ready
for some serious pool parties.

To build this
lap-of-luxury pool,

the crown must be
completely level

before mapping out the pool
and putting the forms in place.

MAN: This material is
an industrial-strength,

paper-backed wire mesh.

It's wax coated
for extra reinforcement

and more importantly,
it's waterproof.

LUCAS: It better be, because
this pool is going to contain

a massive amount of water
when they're through.

Alright. That's it.

I think we got it dug.

With the hole dug,

it takes two entire days
to fill the base

with over 20 tons of gravel,

giving Leigh's ultra luxury pool
a strong foundation.

It's looking good.

Yeah, they're just about done
with that vanishing edge.

Right. I know everything
plays off that.

It definitely does.
So when they step out,

everything is one nice,
clear view.

It disappears.

So they finish forming
and smoothing

the pool in record time.

Another big challenge
is bringing the rest

of the property elevation
level with the pool.

13 tons of gravel later,
and it's time for tile.

MAN #2: We've still got to
finish all the travertine,

build the kitchen.

We still have to build
the standalone fire feature.

Then we're that much closer
to getting this pool plastered.

LUCAS: That sounds like
quite a list,

but I can't wait to see Leigh's
reaction when it's all finished.

This is your new
beautiful backyard.

LUCAS: This backyard
in Brentwood, Tennessee,

has been a work
in progress for weeks.

But everything
is finally coming together.

The pool is filled,
the waterfalls are running,

and the fire features
are lighting up this party pad.

The infinity edge
is to die for.

It is absolutely beautiful.

I am totally blown away.

This is exactly
what I envisioned,

but it's even better

And I envisioned a lot.

This pool is the definition
of fire and water.

Leigh,

I have ever put on
a single pool before.

If I did any more,
the fire marshal would be here

to shut us down.

You've got six.

And at the very center
is the large spa

with plenty of jets and bubblers
for the whole family.

This is amazing.

MAN #2:
And on either side of that,

we've got
the two tanning ledges.

I love those because
you can sit here,

look at
that beautiful view.

Family affairs are never
complete without food.

I'm excited.

Not only do we have this grill,

but we got this
awesome wine cooler for you.

This is
my dream come true.

Down here, we have a whole
nother entertaining area.

We have the vanishing edge,

the fire pot
that's in the water,

and then we have
an additional fire pit.

To me, this whole area
pulls the whole thing together.

Oh, yeah.
I mean, that's awesome,

because usually you don't enjoy
this side of an infinity edge.

I got to tell you,
it's one of my favorite places

is to hang out the bottom area
of the vanishing edge.

Mine, too.
And the sound of the water

rippling over the natural
stone tiles is mesmerizing.

I mean,
it's almost healing,

you know,
kind of takes your stress away.

That's right.
I couldn't ask
for anything better.

This is just stunning.

Leigh finally got
her fiery Vegas retreat

without ever
leaving Tennessee.

It's the perfect place
to entertain her entire family.

This pool exceeded
my expectations.

We're going to have
so many parties here.

I absolutely cannot believe
that this is my backyard.
