and he cut the cat open with scissors.

This investigation could be the script

for one of the most terrifying movies you'd ever want to watch.

We have seen things that defy explanation.

Now it's time to look back.

One of my scariest nightmares that we are about to relive.

on the biggest, scariest, and funniest moments

from our investigations.

What's up? Hey, guys. How are you doing?

Pretty good.

So, let's watch, um, a really dark investigation

that happened here in our hometown, las vegas.

Sin city exorcism? Oh, yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah, there's a lot to talk about.

Yeah. This investigation dealt with death,

destruction, and suffering.

Uh, and we had to respond to the call.

As emotional as it was, how terrifying it was,

I liked the way that we presented it.

Mm-hmm. Sensitive story. Yeah.

we're in las vegas, nevada. Our hometown --

at least for billy, aaron, and myself.

And there is this guy named anthony.

When I ran into him, you guys, he told me that his mother died

in his arms a couple months ago.

How did you meet anthony?

I met anthony when I was doing some work for the nspca.

That's right. The, uh, no-kill shelter.

Great guy. Nothing wrong with him. Yeah.

He was doing great work for a -- for a great cause.

Then I saw him couple years later.

Different dude? He was a whole different guy.

Wow. Oh.

And then he took me aside,

right when we were filming something.

And he looked at me and he said, "zak, I need your help."

oh, man. "I need your help."

and we were scheduled to do another investigation

I think that next week. I canceled it. Yeah, I remember you --

I remember that. You changed it.

We went to him. Right.

And I didn't know the scope of

how serious the story was.

Oh, man.

Here's the chilling part.

His mother believes that she was possessed by a demon

right before her death.

This guy and his family

are in a crisis situation of life and death.

-Hey, what's up? -How are you doing?

-What's going on, anthony? -Come in.

I want you to tell me exactly what happened with your mother.

Okay. Um...

She got sick on her birthday, which was July 14.

And, uh, throughout the year, she's been really, like, sick.

Since we moved into this house, for the last seven years,

she's gotten really sick around her birthday.

And then this year, she got really, really sick,

and she died right in this corner.

She died right -- right here? Yeah.

I had no idea how disturbing and emotional this situation

was until we got to his house and he started talking to me

and told me what happened in that living room.

I mean, this isn't a guy just telling me,

"yeah, I see shadows and I get claw marks on me."

this is a guy who just told me his mother died in his arms.

While she was sick, was she ever telling you

or acting in ways that you believed her

to...Be influenced by a demon or something?

Yeah, she was influenced by a demon. I know she was.

At 6:00 in the morning, we were sitting here talking,

and she kept asking me to look her in the eyes.

And I couldn't.

But she told me -- she was laying here

and she was making no sense.

She was throwing up this black stuff --

and it was like this gooey black stuff.

And she said she made a deal with the aliens.

We used to call demons "aliens."

she said "I made a deal with the aliens, and now I'm scared

because now they're coming to take me."

did you witness her death?

Yeah, I held her in my hands when she took her last breaths.

[ sighs ] and when I tried to turn her over to...

Whoa. That's -- this makes me sad.

This -- this is bringing emotions back to me right now.

Yeah, I c-- I just can't imagine him

just sharing this with you. Right?

You don't know what your neighbors are going through,

the people that you just wave to.

You don't know their struggles.

-Yeah. -Yeah.

Sometimes you think that you're the only one

that has problems in life. You aren't.

Everybody does.

And nowadays no one gets to know their neighbors,

so no one ever knows.

You know? It's kind of like

everyone just keeps to themselves. Yeah.

It was scary. I felt so helpless.

Do you feel like you're in -- in danger right now?

Your family?

Yeah.

And, like, it's -- when I'm here alone,

or just how mad I get over little things,

I feel like I'm gonna hurt somebody or myself.

I knew these people were in trouble.

I knew that these people were in desperate need of help,

and that this could turn really, really bad.

Zak: So you're anthony's girlfriend.

How long have you been with him for?

I've been with anthony on and off for about 6 years.

What is it like being here now?

I'm always depressed. You're always depressed?

And I don't -- I don't even know how to really explain it.

It just feels weird.

It doesn't feel like I'm supposed to be here. Mm-hmm.

There's something that doesn't want me here.

So why don't you leave?

Because I want to stay with anthony.

Are you, uh -- are you worried about him?

Yeah.

Has he talked to you about killing himself?

A lot.

A lot? Yeah.

Zak: For anna to be sticking around his side...

Jay: It's tough. It just shows how much she cares about him.

I knew these people were in trouble.

I didn't want these demons taking his life.

I just remember how heavy it felt.

I needed to give them help.

Zak: You've been having a lot of rage?

Yeah. Lots of rage.

Since your mother's death?

It got worse after she died.

Are you being violent? Yeah.

I'm -- I'm breaking walls. I'm --

you're breaking walls?

Punching holes through them. Why?

I can't explain it. I don't feel like myself.

I'll feel it coming, and then I get really mad,

and then I just can't control it.

Me and my stepdad talked about it,

and he said, "anthony, I think that morning

that your mom died, something killed her."

he goes, "so, whatever it is, is trying to kill you, too."

your stepfather said this? Yes.

He does not want to be filmed? No.

But he -- he doesn't express his beliefs

in spiritual, demonic things.

And when he told me that, it kind of scared me.

Now, you got to remember, he's doing this

right after his mother died in that living room...

Right. ...After vomiting black liquid,

and, from what he said, being demonically possessed.

Wasn't it, like, only 3 months or something?

Yeah, it was quick after. It was very, very recent, right?

When we went there? Yeah.

Yeah, I think so.

-Hey, guys? -Yeah.

Zak: Come here and look at this.

[ indistinct radio chatter ]

whoa.

There's a cord coming from the attic...

What? ...That has locked these two doors together.

Why is this room bound with this cord and lock like that?

That is weird.

Hold on. Anthony?

that's my mom's room, and this is where we see

the girl in the white dress all the time.

and this is why, right here,

it's tied off with an extension cord.

So no one can go in there.

Zak: Could this girl in white be the demonic entity

that possessed anthony's mother?

It's hard for you to be in there?

Yeah, it makes -- it feels like I'm not --

it feels like I'm doing something wrong.

Like I'm not allowed to be in there.

Like, I understand what they're doing with the door,

but at the same time, like, there's a level

that you have to move onto after death.

You have to live your life.

Sometimes holding onto it too much

can actually hurt you, you know?

It's easier said than done.

I really felt bad for anthony...

It's his -- it's his own house. ...And his girlfriend.

They -- they didn't have any other place to go, financially.

Yeah. Right. They were stuck here.

And as an investigator, you're trying to differentiate,

"is she suffering depression?

Is she being affected legitimately..."

depressed? "...By these demons?"

she was being affected legitimately by

the situational circumstances... Yeah.

...Surrounding demonic activity affecting others. Mm-hmm, right.

And too, when you're seeing the people you love change

and be affected and rundown, that drags you down, as well.

It doesn't want us here right now.

I just -- it's what I feel. It's what I feel.

Like, I wanted to get rid of this,

and then today I didn't even want to --

I didn't even want to film.

What I'm concerned about is that there's something in you.

This wasn't any anthony I knew.

Anthony wanted to knock me out right here

because I wanted to help.

Which, zak, is the spirit

that he's connected to controlling it,

trying to get you out of there

or cause a friction where we leave.

It makes sense, 'cause it knows

we're going there to try to help.

We're gonna try to get rid of it.

We're gonna do what we can,

so it's gonna do whatever it can to stop us.

Yeah.

It wants your life. That's what they want.

[ exhales sharply ]

they want people to commit suicide.

They want people to do bad things.

They want this kind of thing to happen.

This investigation could be the script

for one of the most terrifying movies you'd ever want to watch.

It's tough going to these places, too,

because it's not like we go in an empty place.

Like, we have to like, adapt, learn and understand and then...

And help. ...At the same time help, yeah.

And then -- all's while watching our own asses.

Zak: As day one of our investigation comes to a close,

anthony pulls me aside.

Mojica: When I just left in there,

it felt like my brain was being twisted...

Like, as soon as I came out here.

Like, whatever it is is pissed at me,

and it's scaring me.

It doesn't have full -- you're not in full possession,

but it's affecting you. You're in a state of oppression.

That's bad, right? Yeah.

Okay. Of course.

Oppression can turn into a full diabolical possession.

Diabolical possessions can kill you.

And the biggest question that I have is,

was your mother diabolically possessed?

Our show, "ghost adventures,"

is more than going into a building and looking for ghosts.

With equipment. Why do you ask, on twitter,

"why do you guys doing more demonic stuff?"

because people need our help.

And I would rather go to somebody that needs our help

than just to go document another piece of evidence...

I mean, he said -- looked you in the eye and say

"I need your help," like, how can you say no to that?

How could you say -- how could you say "no"?

they have helped us on so many cases...

Zak: We have a crisis situation here.

He says that, "a demon killed my mom,"

but it's a complex case.

And because of that, I stopped the interviews.

I want you two to go with me now to meet the two sisters

and then together, as a team,

let's figure out the best plan of attack.

And I really believe that we need

a minor rite of exorcism on this house.

Mary: Hi. How y'all doing?

I've not spoken with either of you yet.

It's critical that this whole situation is monitored,

not only by us, but also by them.

Were there ever paranormal things happening in the house?

Like what?

Um, there was one time I was showering

and I seen a girl standing on the outside of the curtain.

Billy: Can you imagine that? I would freak out.

And when I opened it, she was gone.

And that's the same girl in white

that anthony also saw in the -- in the mom's bedroom.

In the hallway, by the bedroom, yeah. Right? All the time.

So, who do you think that is?

Is that just a representation of the woman, or...?

It could be a representation, yeah.

The next thing, the demons are gonna show show themselves

in any way to get you to feel comfortable.

A child, a woman, whatever. Yeah.

Or the typical lady in white.

It's, like, oh it's a lost love spirit or something.

Do you two also have the same thoughts as your brother does

about a demon influencing the death of your mother? Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

By the way she acted. Reese: Yeah.

The things she said before she died, so...

The way that she acted?

She'd go from perfectly fine

to all of a sudden, like, angry --

like, flipping out about nothing.

Do you remember a boyfriend that she had

that was doing satanism? Yeah, that was my dad.

That was your dad? Okay. That was your father?

Mm-hmm. He wasn't normal.

That's when things changed.

Zak: This is something I had no idea about

until this interview. Yeah.

They started talking about

their father doing dark rituals...

Billy: With candles. ...And she tells us that she remembers

seeing an old video

of her seeing her father doing a ritual.

Right. And then she says this.

One time, one of my mom's cats got pregnant,

and he cut the cat open with scissors.

You know this for a fact? Yes.

He also broke two of my mom's dogs' necks

and put them in the trash can in the backyard,

and my mom found them.

Zak: And this would be about the time

when your mother started acting really strange?

Mm-hmm.

-Wow. -That's dark.

This made all the sense.

Aaron: Yeah. This is where...

The puzzle pieces were coming together. Right.

That's what invited it in.

[ clears throat ] our interview just ended with, uh --

with the two sisters.

And after the cameras cut,

you all continued to talk with her for a good 20 minutes.

Uh, yes. And she told us that the remains of the mother,

they're still in the house.

Oh, my gosh. Mary: Yeah, you didn't know that?

What? Are you kidding?

That's gonna keep going, though.

Yeah. And to know that anthony's mom

died under those circumstances,

and anthony said she was possessed,

they still had his mother's ashes in the hall.

Like you said, you couldn't have written a story

more darker than this. No.

I think that the father, who is still alive

and most likely still practicing occult --

dark occult practices...

Could he be cursing them? Yes.

Exactly. And I think it -- I think it might...

Nail on the head. ...Still be attached to the --

the -- the remains of the mother.

This guy,

who apparently was forcing her to do these rituals with him,

conjured up some kind of a very powerful demon,

'cause obviously, he was under an influence...

Aaron: Right. ...Of a demonic entity.

And this is what introduced the possession,

I believe, that ultimately, as anthony said, killed her.

100%.

Alright, look. We're about --

we're gonna start this. Okay.

We never know what to expect when we start the process --

when we open the door and we bring in the clergy.

This the demon's arch enemies.

The people that are being oppressed or possessed

are going to get the first reaction.

Because if the demons are in them,

it's going to make these people fight.

How are you guys feeling?

It got a little intense in here.

It's getting really... [ mumbles ]

My stomach feels like it's turning.

I just got, like, a heavy pressure in my chest.

That's to be expected when we walk in, especially him.

Yeah, it's just like a... Nervous feeling.

Anthony said exactly what all of us were feeling.

That -- that tightening in the chest

and, like, the room --

it was kind of like walking into a sauna,

except it was energy, just phew!

Yeah. It was very tense.

Especially when they showed up. Especially...

...When they showed up -- it stirs it up.

The door to your mother's room

has been bound with the cord,

and we haven't seen in there yet.

Why do you keep it shut, again?

There's something in there that doesn't want us in there.

Anna and my sister shylo were cleaning the room,

and the walls were shaking, and they yelled for me.

And I ran in there, and I said,

"whatever's in here doesn't like you guys."

and then I put my hand on the wall,

and everything stopped.

Just the discovery of the ashes alone, w-was that really --

how many times now have we learned

that we go to these cases,

these homes that have this demonic attachment

and we're trying to figure out why,

what's causing it, why is it still here?

And we keep finding human remains?

Exactly. By the end, it might take a while

to get to it, get it to come out,

but eventually, pretty much every time...

...There's human remains. It's happened three or four times now.

Three time, right? So far, I believe it's at least three.

What do you think doesn't want you in that room?

Mojica: I don't know what it is.

We see a girl in a white dress... Mm-hmm.

...That's in that room.

And it just doesn't want you in there.

It just wants you out.

I mean, describe it.

I believe what he's describing, what she's describing,

when you see these entities

and they manifest to these people,

they can give you, like, traumatic stress.

Yeah. I mean, they can suffer from that.

Especially if you're not used to it.

Mary: Is it sadness or...?

That's what it feels like.

oh, this is where the heat comes on now.

And you can tell he wants to be helped.

He wants -- he's not -- he's not trying to fight it.

Right, he's not trying to get away. But then it gets to a weird point.

This thing, it just causes these reactions, you know?

Well, you're trying to get rid of something

that's inside of him

but he just doesn't know how to comprehend it.

I'm, like, really, really sad right now.

[ sobs ]

this is a perfect example

of how he's getting affected because of this,

but how many times on investigations

do we get affected some different ways? Right.

Spirits cause your body to do something you can't control. Exactly.

It can cause pain in your spine... Yeah.

...It can cause headaches, it can cause hearing loss. Yeah.

For anthony, unfortunately,

the battle's been taking place inside of him. Right.

And he doesn't know how to accept that.

He's trying to reject it. It's unfamiliar sensation.

And that's why he's crying. Well, that's the scary thing.

It's scary 'cause it's like

you're fighting an enemy you can't see.

You can't even --

you don't always know where it is.

Like, it's inside of you sometimes.

Like, that's terrifying.

[ sobbing ]

ouellette: ...Command you in the name of jesus.

[ sobbing ] I can't do it. I don't want to do it.

Oh, my god, no.

zak: I don't know why,

but I'm being led to the mother's bedroom,

which they keep locked and sealed

because of all the dark entities that remain inside.

And this is when I made the decision

that I'm -- I'm breaking the seal.

I'm going in the mother's bedroom,

and nobody knows about it.

I don't know if his mother's spirit

is being held captive in that room by these demons.

Then when we did -- when you opened that door, zak,

that's when it got released.

I'm gonna give you a special blessing

once we've gone inside that room.

I don't want to be in here when... You don't want to be --

I don't want to be in here when you guys go in there.

Okay. Zak, I don't know, after the way that they're reacting,

I'm not sure it's a good idea

to have them in here when we go in.

The doors are open.

That might explain it.

The house was almost unbearable to be in at that point.

Yeah, and that's the moment when I had to leave

because I felt like someone was coming at me.

It got too dark and scary.

That -- and you have to step out for a second,

come back, and then recharge. Jay: Yeah, reset.

I didn't know what to do. That's what I did.

So, this is when I felt it just wasn't safe

for what we were about to do.

I didn't want them getting worse.

They go out in the garage, and little did we know,

it was gonna get even worse out in the garage

for anthony and for her.

I'm leaving. I'm gone.

Chill, chill, chill. It's okay, it's okay.

Oh, I feel sick.

Okay. It's alright.

[ breathes heavily ]

oh, there --

heavenly lord, we pray.

...Seeking the ruin of souls.

This is the moment where, you know what?

We've got to get the bullet out of the body,

and there's gonna be a lot of pain, a lot of emotion

and here we go.

And that's what it was like going in that room,

because he was experiencing all the pain.

I remember, I was out here for this

and you guys were inside the house.

That whole feeling came out into the garage.

It felt like the closer and closer

we were getting into that room,

the more and more pain he was feeling. Yeah.

This has happened a couple of times

where, like, we've split up now,

and while bishop ryan and sister mary

are doing one thing, it's affecting...

Another spot. ...Inside the house.

Yeah.

Mojica: [ groaning ]

[ growling and breathing heavily ]

woman: He saw -- he saw it...

When you walked out.

You guys, I don't want to hurt you.

-Settle down. -Zak, please help me.

Dear father, we need you. We need you here now.

Squeeze my hand. I can take it.

You guys, I feel so weird.

If you feel like lashing out, you squeeze my hand.

[ growls ] let go of me.

Now he started getting actually violent.

He even said, "I don't want to hurt you guys."

like -- it's like he's in there.

He's getting the urges to. He's in there, because like --

aaron: Well, it's still the house.

You know what I'm saying?

They're still in the house, just the garage.

He starts growling. So it's probably out there with him

just like, "stop, stop." I thought this was gonna get bad.

Yeah.

[ anna sobs ] you guys, she needs help.

She's fine.

Ouellette: Release this servant of god.

He's using her to get to you. She is fine.

zak: And that's the good thing

about investigating so many of these cases, you guys,

is that it makes us more knowledgeable

for that next case.

There are so many of these, like, doctors,

we can compare symptoms... Billy: Right.

...See what causes the disease.

We have case analysis when we compare, right?

See patterns forming, yeah.

And there has been a lot --

a lot of patterns with the last few of these cases.

The s-- same types of things have happened.

Yeah, they overlay each other.

It was so scary.

It was a thick fog of just the worst.

And there's times, guys, where we're balls out,

we go in there, don't -- like, "let's do this."

and there's times we cannot do it.

No, I just heard something from the room back here now.

It's got us all over the place.

And aaron's doing a very dangerous thing --

opening up a line of communication to --

to a spot we should not be in.

Which is really gonna make a target on your back... I know.

...Because you're the one engaging in conversation.

Sometimes in these situations, you want answers,

and so we have to do it. Well, we need evidence.

We're investigators, we need --

we just, you know, we need evidence.

Zak: Back in the bedroom,

I begin using the flashlight on my phone

to search for clues

as to what anthony's mother may have left

that these demonic entities could be bound to.

And as I look inside this chest and start to move away,

it seems her spirit tries to guide my search.

Hey, what about the closet?

-Whoa, I missed it. -Whoa, you missed it!

Zak: Did you hear that? It just said it, "you missed it."

jay: This was so impressive me. "you missed it."

yeah. And that was it. Oh, this was the best, too,

because then what do you do, zak?

You go back...

It's right in there. ...And we find, what?

The hair or something. We find something here... Right.

...That actually starts keying in, and then the --

"oh, you missed it."

"you missed it." like, go back.

'cause I looked in there originally,

didn't find anything.

It was, like, "no, no, no go back. You missed it."

-you missed it. -Yeah.

Zak: As I discover some disturbing items,

including a small box that contains a lock of human hair...

I mean, a lock of hair?

Aaron: It's a lock. Whose hair was that?

And besides the hair, there were other items

that were questionable.

It's lucky.

Yeah, but is that a demon, though,

trying to trick you into saying,

"oh no, it's just -- it's a lucky box."

right. Don't -- don't look into it.

Yeah, good point.

-That was a kid. -That was kid's voice.

I did hear that. [ unidentified speaking ]

-whoa, turn up the radio! -It's talking, though!

What? Whoa!

-Satan! -It just said, "satan."

-"satan" in a demon's voice. -No, it just said --

it just said, "I'm right here."

All this stuff is -- ...It told me to stop.

They were right there telling us to do things. I know. Exactly.

And I'll tell you what, if we were to see them

if we can get a visual of these spirits and demonic entities

that we are speaking with.

bishop bryan tends to anthony in the garage

as we continue our investigation of the house.

So now we're hearing the voices, we're feeling it,

they're giving us intelligent conversations

and commands upon what our actions are doing.

and we capture a figure in the mother's bedroom

that appears to come towards us.

There's absolutely no objects behind it

that it could possibly be, uh, mapping in.

That is a figure... It's just a free-floating map in space.

And it looks like it steps outside the door.

And then it just ran out. It just shot out.

using palo santo wood.

This is probably the investigation

that I wished I would have had that reseda.

That's what I'm saying, like, these chain of events

are beginning to lift from their dark oppression.

What I think this house needs is an exorcism.

you're an unintended victim in this.

because the ashes are still in there,

the attachment is still in there.

We tried thinking of numerous places to take the ashes.

You can't just, you know, dispose of somebody's ashes.

So the only place that we could think of

to store it where they would be safe and not disturbed

and sealed was my museum -- at the haunted museum.

We have no house to take her to, the ashes.

We have nowhere to spread them right now.

You don't want to put them at any of your family's houses.

I don't want to put them in my house.

I don't want to put them in a storage shed.

The only where I can think of is at the museum.

the ashes of anthony's mother to the safety of my museum,

when something catches our attention.

before we can retrieve the ashes,

we begin hearing loud noises

coming from back in the mother's bedroom.

The noises are probably the resistance of

"don't remove the ashes," you know? Yeah.

That distraction.

A lot of times, when we're scared,

we're all, like, right next to each other.

Like scooby and shaggy, right there.

Which one of you is scooby?

-We do that a lot. -Yeah, we do.

Which one's shaggy? Me and aaron do that a lot.

'cause you're always sniffing it out real quick first. Scooby-dooby-doo!

And I'm, like, "zoinks, what are you doing?"

you know? [laughs] "let's get out of here."

zak: With more activity occurring,

bishop bryan quickly begins to bless the ashes.

We are now going to begin the process

of bringing you to peace.

and to find peace in the kingdom of god.

I didn't know this woman,

but just imagine what she went through.

if she would have gotten some help by some priests earlier,

a diabolical possession or something...

So bishop bryan does a blessing of the house,

and where I'm putting anthony's mother's ashes

in this case,

they are still there at the haunted museum to this day.

They have not moved from that spot.

We cast thee out, every unclean spirit,

every devilish power,

every assault of the infernal adversary,

every legion, every diabolical group and sect,

by the name and power of our lord, jesus christ.

He had his hands full this night.

Can you imagine the chaotic mess right now

with the spirits versus him... Right.

...Right now that we can't even see?

And there was probably all kinds of hell.

So much, just, conflict, in a spiritual sense.

thou art the maker of every light.

Zak: It has become clear during our time here,

something sinister has a hold on this grief-stricken home.

-Whoa! -"satan!"

it just said, "satan!"

zak: We hope our efforts to break this deadly bond

will begin the healing process for anthony and his family,

finally bringing them peace.

I'm telling you this, from beginning to end,

is like a movie.

Yeah. You know. But everything in it is...

It's a powerful episode. ...Is feeling the emotions

of the -- the people that are victims,

from anthony and his girlfriend, and just everybody.

God, they go through so much.
