[Episode 14: Please guide me for the rest of my life]

Before, he was the one who always accompanied me.

But now I don't need it anymore.

As long as I'm around, I'll definitely do a better job than it.

The childhood betrothal was hijacked.

I still think that our Young Master and Valley Master

- are more compatible. - What are you saying? Brother Shen is most compatible with me.

Our Young Master and Little Dizi

have always been in a love story.

A talented man and a beautiful lady, truly a match made in Heaven. Can't you see?

Yes.

Now,

you have no chance anymore.

I also hope that is the case.

Brother Shen, Valley Master Qian Yu and Little Chen have already sealed their relationship.

Then when will you and I–

Owner Hua, here.

Er Long has just sent over some wine.

Since today is a happy day, let's all drink our fill!

- Don't return if we're not drunk! - That's right! - Okay!

Come, cheers!

Cheers!

He's smiling, smiling! He finally smiled.

Brother Mu, since you have achieved your wish, you can now peacefully go on your way.

Let me send you on this journey!

Seriously. It's good as long as you're here.

What?

You even brought a gift?

- No. Wait, that– - Xiao Yu!

Brother, you misunderstood. This is not for you.

I know this is for Xiao Yu.

Here.

Let me introduce you. This is my good friend, he's called Wu Qing.

- Hello. This is too precious. - Hello.

Thank you, Brother Wu Qing.

Qian Zhan, when we get back, find an eye-catching place to display this.

Brother Wu Qing, to give us such a precious gift,

you really are too polite.

In a moment, let's drink a cup of wine together!

Let's go.

This...

Teacher, what does our Teacher Wife look like? Who is she?

Isn't she's here?

Senior.

- So radiant. - Because of

the skills that you taught me,

I could decorate this tree.

Then there isn't anything good out of this!

There is!

This is a special token from Youyou Valley.

Senior, you have worked hard.

- Can this be eaten? - No!

But seeing this item is like seeing me.

Well, it is rather fragrant.

Young Master, your confession succeeded, so it counts as progressing on one level.

Such ordinary clothing, how can it match someone of your status?

Our Valley Master specially sewed new clothes for you.

This is... You made this?

Do you like it?

I like it.

Look. Others have already sealed their relationship, so don't drink so much.

You should think about matters between us.

When are you going to marry me?

Cherry Blossom Palm?

He is that child!

Who exactly is he?

And who am I?

Since I already received the money,

the person is mine! No one else is allowed to harm him one bit!

- Xiu'er? - Father?

You're still alive? Where am I now?

Why are you here? All of them are bad people!

They want to kill us! Hurry and run, run!

- Father! - Run!

Young Master!

- Brother Wu Qing! - What happened to him?

Hurry!

We put in so much effort to save you, why did you close your eyes again?

I am an assassin.

I was originally meant to kill you,

yet I was saved by you.

Amongst other assassins, I can no longer hold my status.

In this mortal realm,

is there still anything worth hanging on to?

You're an assassin?

You want to kill him?

- Right. - Who sent you here?

Your elder brother, Mu Juece.

Elder Brother? You clearly

had so many chances to kill me. Why didn't you kill me?

Because you were always unhappy all the time.

And I only kill people who are smiling and happy.

That has always been my style as a gold-rated assassin.

Really.

Seems like... this line of work doesn't suit you.

You should properly wash your hands of it.

Youyou Valley has a formation at the entrance. How did you get in?

We have people on the inside here. I have never seen their real face.

You have to be careful of hidden enemies.

Since you already confessed,

I will still treat you as my brother.

As for you, I hope you'll take care in the future.

Wait.

Mu Juece failed to kill you.

He will definitely find the other experts of the assassin group.

Wu Lei, Wu Yu and Wu Qiu. You must carefully guard against them.

You actually want me to kill them, right?

I have already decided to wash my hands of this and retire from Jianghu.

They will definitely kill me.

Brother Juechen, as for the rest of my life,

I can only give it to you to protect it.

I understand.

Have you found Brother Shen?

But the one who took him is indeed Shen Nantian, Old Master Shen.

We have always thought that he died.

You mean... my disciple

is Shen Mingxiu's father?

So I accidentally lost a grand disciple?

Enough, I think Brother Shen won't be in any danger.

Father!

Father, calm down! Just what exactly happened?

No, right now if you don't run he will...

Father.

- Father... - My son!

- I missed you so much! - I've missed you too, Father.

Let me look at you. Let me check your body.

Father.

Where have you been all these years? We all thought you already...

I already died?

Traitor! I was hiding and practicing my martial arts.

After I'd finished practicing, I'd take that Old Wicked Mu and chop, chop, chop him up.

Then make him into dumplings for you to eat.

Father, who-who are you referring to?

Mu Sansi.

Brother Shen.

Father, stop.

Stop. This is Little Die.

She's one of Youyou Valley's own people.

Little Die? This name sounds nice.

I never thought a stupid, dark and rough guy like you

could marry such a lovely woman.

- No, Father— - Thank you, Senior.

What did you call me?

Senior?

You should be calling me "Father!"

- Father— - Thank you, Father.

- That's right. - Stop it. Can't you tell he's not normal?

Who's not normal? Your whole family isn't normal.

That's correct.

Do you guys have any children?

Father, what are you talking about?

That's okay. You still have a lot of time.

- In the future, you must give our family a bunch of chubby babies, okay? - Father.

Father, let's stop joking around.

Father! Her name is Little Die.

She's only a childhood friend. We're not married.

Your parents... right now...

No?

I am. I am. I am.

Father, what are you looking for?

Come, come, come. Kneel down.

Come, come, come.

You kneel down, too.

Come. Kneel down. Kneel down!

First, pay respect to the heavens and the earth.

Second, respect to the parents.

- Keep paying respects. Respect for the parents. - Father!

The husband and wife pay respects to each other.

My good daughter-in-law.

This is right. This is right.

Please stop playing around.

Don't you remember you already arranged my marriage with Gongshu Senior?

Gongshu Bai?

I think the girl was called Gongshu Yu.

That's right, Father.

That's all right. It's normal for a good man to have several wives.

Little girl, you won't mind. Right?

Of course, I do. Brother Shen only belongs to me.

The Valley Master loves Qianyun Mountain Pavilion's Young Master, Mu Juechen.

I'm the one who loves you the most.

What are you two talking about?

Qianyun Mountain Pavilion? Mu Juechen?

Old Wicked Mu.

- Father. - Qianyun Mountain Pavilion.

- Father. - Mu Juechen.

- Mu Sansi. - Father.

Qianyun Mountain Pavilion!

Father!

Do you still want your reputation?

Wu Qing is indeed our best assassin.

Not only is his method elegant and noble,

even more, he's never failed over the years.

Never failed?

This occurrence is an accident. Don't worry.

We still have Wu Lei, Wu Yu, and Wu Qiu. Our three big assassins. (TN: Names translate to Tearless, Desire-less, and Seek-less).

The Eagle King, Wu Lei. Can control eagles to attack people.

The thousand hand arhat, Wu Yu.

His hidden weapon skills are unparalleled in this world.

Iron abacus, Wu Qiu.

Those who hear the sound of his abacus are beheaded immediately.

Do you think I can still trust you?

You can only succeed. You cannot fail.

[Youyou Valley Special Products]

Thank you everyone for coming.

Recently Young Master and I traveled to Youyou Valley.

In the valley, we discovered a magical medicine.

This medicine was personally refined by me.

It can bring the dead back to life.

- Let me see. - Don't squish, everyone!

The Valley Master and Young Master find each other congenial.

If that's the case, how about you propose a marriage alliance today?

As the Valley Master, leave the proposal up to me.

That's right. Auntie Hua, I keep forgetting to ask. How much silver do we have in Youyou Valley?

We cannot lose our status because of this marriage alliance.

Honestly... There's no silver in Youyou Valley.

How is that possible? Aren't I a rich woman with a thousand acres of fertile land?

You are a rich woman with a thousand acres of fertile land.

But Youyou Valley has been living in secret for the past ten years.

Everyone is self-sufficient.

No one uses silver.

Then, how can I propose a marriage alliance?

We still have our local specialties.

You truly are my woman.

The way you're working hard to earn money to marry me is so perfect.

Can I ask? How is the Jiuyuan Pill sold?

Right, how are you selling it?

This Jiuyuan Pill is extremely rare.

It takes six months to produce one.

We didn't bring a lot with us this time.

So... one thousand taels for one pill.

One thousand taels?

Don't go. You can look at other things.

I'll buy this chicken.

Sir, have we met anywhere before?

Young Master, the calf you helped me deliver, Mao Mao,

is already several months old. As a token of my appreciation,

I wish you both a long-lasting union.

I am also indebted to Young Master.

Fortunately, I was able to keep my life

because he helped me cross the street.

I'll buy this duck.

Wish you two will grow old together.

This is what I've always taught you.

No act of kindness is too small.

When will we be able to get ten thousand taels at this rate?

Boss Xiao Yu, Youyou Valley is too far away from Tianyou City.

How will we be transporting our goods? And even if we do, they can't afford it.

Even if it's a master of Lightness Skills, it's just an individual.

It's still hard to transport large amounts of goods.

It seems like your betrothal gift won't be enough.

Everyone stop pulling a long face.

I'm here. Everything will be okay.

Cheers.

Cheers.

I already told you not to drink too much.

Don't drink if you can't drink!

I can still drink more.

I just want you all to be happy.

Er Long said there's only one available room tonight.

So I will help you prepare for bed.

Wait. There must be a plot.

She got me drunk. Maybe...

Wait a second. You're a bit drunk.

I think we...

Stop thinking. I'm just helping you change your clothes.

I will do it myself.

Do it yourself.

Xiao Yu, listen to me.

Although our relationship has been established,

I still want to respect your wishes.

Thank you.

Self-respect.

Okay.

I will respect myself. Go and change your clothes first.

I will go take a bath first. Okay?

I can't let the woman take the lead on something like this, right?

Are you satisfied with this atmosphere?

The wine is on the table.

And I...

Of course, you can't resist my charm.

Why am I always sweeping people off their feet?

What are you thinking about, Mu Juechen?

Go to sleep.

[Tianlai Tavern]

It's numb.

Young Master, what's the matter with you?

My waist hurt all night.

Your waist hurts?

You deserve it.

Young people. Young and aggressive.

I can understand.

Auntie, what are you thinking about?

Nothing.

At this rate,

it will take three years to get enough for the betrothal gifts.

But what solution do we have?

With Xiao Yu's personality, being late by even one day

may change a lot of things.

This... What's the solution?

I ordered this in the morning and it came in the afternoon. It's so convenient.

Not only is it fresh, but it's also cheap.

The amazing herbs of Youyou can reach Tianyou City in a blink of an eye.

This is amazing. The speed horse service set up by Young Master Mu and Miss Xiao Yu is a blessing to us.

What do you think? The problem is already solved.

Brother Shen, if it's really like what Father said...

He's my father.

Right, right.

But I don't think Young Master seems like a bad person.

And Xunhua said they were already engaged.

How about we tell Young Master about this after a bit of time?

Little Die, I don't want you to be caught up in your own emotions at this moment.

I...

Brother Shen, in the time I've known him,

I think he is someone who can be trusted.

I think you've been in the valley too long, and haven't seen the world.

Never judge a person by their appearance.

Little Die?

Qianyun Mountain Pavilion.

Brother Shen's martial arts skills are good.

Brother Shen.

Hero Mu, you take advantage of a woman who doesn't know martial arts.

Aren't you afraid of being ridiculed?

Ridiculed?

Haven't you already treated me as a joke for a long time?

Hero Mu, get to the point if you have anything to say.

Frankly,

do you still remember promising to help me unify Jianghu?

I do.

- Okay. Help me kill someone. - Who?

Mu Juechen. I believe you have the opportunity to get close to him.

Do you think you have a choice?

Let her go first.

Let her go.

So you can hit me?

I can't. I... am timid.

Here are two pills. One is for you to have,

and the other is for Mu Juechen.

After the job is done, I'll give the antidote to you.

You can't. You can't eat it.

You can't eat it.

I'll eat it. I'll eat it.

I don't know martial arts, but it's easier for me to get close to Mu Juechen.

Look at how obedient she is. Then look at yourself.

You can't eat it.

Don't.

[Tianlai Tavern]

I never thought in all my years that I would see

so much money in Youyou Valley.

Now I can buy whatever I want to buy!

- I want to buy a rouge gouache. - I want to buy lots of roast chickens.

Put it all down. After I get married,

you can buy whatever you want to buy.

What's wrong?

You will see my parents soon.

It's not like I haven't met them.

If Qianyun Mountain Pavilion has done anything wrong to you—

The grudges of the last generation will have an end.

As for us,

there's nothing that can separate us.

It's time to go cook again.

Understood.

Master, Young Master and I find each other congenial.

My parents passed away when I was young. I don't bother myself with all those etiquettes.

Today, I represent Youyou Valley,

and come here to discuss marriage with you.

This...

Something as big as marriage should not be decided by yourselves.

But we have seen Xiao Yu grow up since she was a child.

I am at peace if she is with Chen.

But the betrothal gift should be provided by Qianyun Mountain Pavilion. This is unconventional.

Father, Mother. Xiao Yu and I used to have different identities.

This betrothal gift also shows that the Gongshu and Mu families

are of equal status and to seal the people's mouths.

I hope Master can agree.

Since you are already privately engaged,

why would I want to separate you both?

Father,

there is still one more thing.

Are those people out there speaking the truth? It's said that,

Qianyun Mountain Pavilion eliminated the Gongshu family just for that book of Heart Sutra.

What are you talking about?

Is it true that you wanted to kill Xiao Yu that day?

You unfilial son.

I found this manual in the Master's chamber.

At that time, a mysterious person pursued and wanted to kill me.

I thought it was someone else who wanted to harm me.

But after practicing this Heart Sutra, I realized

the inner strength of that person was exactly the same as the Heart Sutra technique.

Regarding this technique, other than Young Master,

there is only you.

Father, please tell us.

I believe you wouldn't have done this.

Miss Xiao Yu, I swear on my identity as the Head of the Martial Arts League that,

what I'm going to say next, is the truth.

When my wife and I arrived there...

- Chen! - Wife.

This is strange.

This wound doesn't look like it was from a sneak attack.

Based on Gongshu Bai's skills,

even if it was a sneak attack, he would have countered it.

Who is it?

Then, when we returned to the pavilion,

we continuously searched for you and Chen'er.

After half a month, Chen'er brought you back to the pavillion.

I should've gotten revenge for you,

but after seeing the Yongying Heart Sutra,

I became greedy.

No.

It was to save Chen'er.

That day, the poison in him was not totally eliminated.

You could only be saved by practicing the Yongying Heart Sutra.

You were traumatized then. We had no choice but to...

Xiao Yu! Xiao Yu!

Only this Heart Sutra can save Chen'er. I'm begging you, okay?

I don't trust you. You are liars trying to steal this from me.

Xiao Yu.

When you grow up, I'll explain everything to you.

But give it to me right now.

- Give it! - No!

Xiao Yu!

Xiao Yu.

- Xiao Yu? - Xiao Yu?

Sansi and I found a physician to treat you.

The physician said you had amnesia from the trauma.

We didn't tell you any of this because

Chen'er didn't want you to remember

the murder of your parents and be trapped by fears.

Chen'er.

Xiao Yu?

Young Master.

Chen'er, from now on, she will be your personal servant.

Her name is Qian Yu.

But it's true that

we took your family's Heart Sutra.

I was afraid of being exposed and lost my sanity.

Hence, I wanted to kill you.

Father,

you have always taught me to be righteous.

Yes.

I don't deserve the title as Head of the Martial Arts League.

I will call for a martial arts convention later

to announce my resignation.

I have already notified the six sects

to meet at Tianlai Tavern in ten days.

At the same time, I will announce my marriage with Young Master.

On that day, why don't you announce

the transfer of the title, Head of Martial Arts League to Young Master?

- What do you think? - Xiao Yu?

Qian Yu,

thank you.

So, you had already

figured out these matters for me.

Is it not a good idea?

This way, you can legitimately possess the Yongying Heart Sutra.

Xiao Yu,

thank you.

For what? For not giving your parents a hard time?

Although they had selfish thoughts, it was to save you.

As for you, you are my savior, too.

So we are even now.

I really can't outtalk you.

By the way,

when you become the Head of the Martial Arts League,

you must not be arrogant again.

I guarantee that,

in the future, I will definitely be

a Head of Martial Arts League who's loved by everyone.

This is what you said. Otherwise, I will be the first to rebel against you.

Okay. I will keep my word.

I have been looking for the murderer for the past ten years,

but I didn't have any important leads.

When I'm the Head of the Martial Arts League, I will tell everyone to help you find the murderer.

But... don't you find it strange?

The Yongying Heart Sutra has always been in Qianyun Mountain Pavilion.

The murderer killed the Gongshu family for this.

In theory, he should plot against the Mu family as well.

But it's strange that he didn't.

It clearly means that he has already obtained the Heart Sutra,

but not all of it.

I heard from my father that

there are two parts in this Heart Sutra.

The first part is about inner strength

and the second part is about martial arts techniques.

Are you thinking of using the first part as bait?

He will definitely fall for it.

Who is it?

Brother Shen?

Xiao Yu,

I have something important to discuss with you.

What's wrong?

What's wrong?

I heard from Owner Hua that you are marrying Mu Juechen.

Yes.

This was settled today.

Xiao Yu, their Mu family

is the murderer who killed the Gongshu family.

Impossible.

I know it's hard for you to accept

but my father wouldn't lie to me.

Why are you telling me this?

Don't coexist with your enemies in the same world.

We should fight a life and death battle with Qianyun Mountain Pavilion.

You are the Master of Youyou Valley now.

I respect your opinions.

But what about the poison you contracted?

How did you know?

Xiao Die told me.

Brother Shen,

it's not worth doing this for me.

The Shen family

has protected the Gongshu family for generations.

Brother Shen,

you are really foolish.

I'm fine.

Xiao Die is proficient in elixirs.

Perhaps, there's a way to dispel the poison.

This poison...

can't be dispelled.

If this is true, just leave it to the will of Heaven.

But there's one minor matter.

Can I... entrust Xiao Die to you?

I know she always goes against you.

It's because I indulged her when she was young.

That's why she's so spoiled and stubborn.

But she's actually a very kind person.
