Xuan Yang Door

Brother, please show your mercy and take back your command.

I'll kneel down here

until you agreed to my request.

What is the situation of His Highness now?

What did you get?

How is His Highness?

I heard that His Highness

has been kneeling down outside.

His Majesty doesn't want to see him at all

This is not the way to go.

Military Advisor Cao,

what we should do now?

Why are you sighing?

Nothing.

Come, bring in the dishes.

Slower.

Put all on the table over there.

Be careful.

I've used a lot of time

to cook all these dishes.

The dinner is ready.

How come His Highness is not back yet?

What happened

in the palace?

It seems that His Majesty is sick

and His Highness was called to take care of him.

Not sure what time

he'll be back.

Then how?

Concubine Li has prepared

so many dishes.

It's okay.

These dishes can just be placed here.

We can heat it up again

when His Highness is back.

In that case

His Highness can eat it as supper.

Concubine Li treats His Highness really good.

Of course.

Concubine Li is getting better in cooking

because of His Highness.

His Highness can eat a lot of good food

in the future.

His Highness

cares about Concubine Li's well being too.

Husband and wife

shouldn't be calculative.

The Song of Glory

As long as we think of each other,

we can do anything for them.

Episode 53

Your Highness!

Your Highness,

are you okay?

Xuan Yang Door

Your Highness,

lay down and have a rest first.

It's okay.

Concubine Li...

She didn't suspect anything, right?

Concubine Li

sent these over last night.

She said Your Highness

can eat it as supper when you're back.

Your Highness loves Concubine Li so much.

How come the God wants to fool both of you?

Sanbao,

I want to change clothes.

Let's go to Fang Yin Pavilion.

Your Highness,

but your injuries...

It's okay.

Your face looks pinkish, very pretty.

Sister,

you have to make up more often in future.

Oh yes,

this

is sent from the Western Region.

It seems like it is called brow liner.

Let's try it.

Okay.

Your Highness, you're back.

Let me do it.

What's wrong with your legs?

My legs were probably too cold

when I took care of His Majesty yesterday.

It's okay.

Then, let me massage for you.

It's okay.

I'll be fine after some rest.

You really want to do it?

Of course.

Drawing eyebrow for my own wife

is one of the happiest thing in this world.

Okay.

Can you really do it?

Do I look good?

There's a pretty lady,

I can't forget her after I see her for the first time.

If I didn't see her for a day,

I'll miss her like crazy.

We didn't meet for just a little while.

How come you became so pedantic?

It must be a hard night for you to take care of His majesty.

How about you go for a rest first?

It's not hard.

I don't feel hard at all,

in fact, I was very happy.

Because

I've got a grace

from His Majesty.

Can you guess what is it?

No, I can't.

Over the years,

I've been busy managing the country.

My body needs a good rest actually.

Therefore, I told His Majesty about my will.

I didn't expect that he agreed to it

and allowed me to rest for 3 months.

Really?

Then, how about the country?

Sixth Brother is around.

Really?

I can't believe it.

I have thought through this time.

We'll find somewhere

with mountains and waters

and enjoy life as a happy couple.

Today, we'll

pack something.

We'll depart today.

Depart today?

So rush?

Of course.

How if brother

suddenly regretted his promise?

That's why we have to be fast.

Hurry.

Look at what you need to bring.

It's really clear as ice, clean as jade

and white as snow.

So beautiful.

In my eyes,

everything that are pretty in the world

are incomparable to you.

Because of you,

my life became

as warm as now.

We'll make a promise now.

We'll hang a wind chime

every year from now.

I'll do it first.

♫ A slim chance is found somewhere ♫

It's your turn.

♫ Wait for you in my dream ♫

♫ What a cool night with a dazzling moon ♫

♫ Love you with all my heart, never leave you ♫

♫ Tears roll down like endless rain for life ♫

♫ Drench the snowflakes and you ♫

♫ Shed tears of my life to meet you one more time ♫

♫ Let's wander again when the sky is clear ♫

Close your eyes

just like me.

Listen

they're talking in the wind.

They're telling you that they love you.

Love you.

Okay.

We'll make a promise now.

We'll come here every year to hang a wind chime.

♫ Shed tears of my life to meet you one more time ♫

♫ Let's wander again when the sky is clear ♫

♫ Bury our thoughts in the song right now ♫

♫ Caress the sword and scabbard as well as you ♫

♫ Just leave when it's no longer a matter of life and death ♫

♫ Be blessed ♫

♫ and fragmented memories will be pieced ♫

We're going to depart soon.

What are you sewing?

This is the mat

that I made for you previously.

I saw some broken parts on it.

Of course I have to

sew it back for you.

These represent the best memories

of both of us.

That's why we must bring this

on our journey this time.

Especially this medicine to cure injuries.

We don't know

if there'll be any accident.

Concubine Li,

you really don't want to bring me along?

I'll take good care of both of you.

I'll not disturb both of you.

It's a rare opportunity that His Highness and I can go on a tour.

I have to bear

the responsibilities as his wife.

I want to take care

of my Fourth Brother.

Okay.

Then, I'll prepare

some clothes

and dried food for you.

I've placed the rest

into the carriage.

Okay.

Let's go.

Your Highness.

Place it well.

Don't simply move it.

I know.

Everyone is gathering at the backyard

and wants you to give an explanation.

What happened?

I have something

that need urgent attention now.

Looks like

we have to depart later.

It's okay. Work is important.

You can settle it first.

Good to give me a bit more time

to think of

what else do I need to bring along.

Then, you stay here

and don't simply go around.

We'll depart when I'm back.

Your Highness.

Don't say anything.

The three-day due is not here yet.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

All of you

don't force me.

I'll beg His Majesty again.

Concubine Li,

let's bring along

the tea set of His Highness.

Oh yes,

I bumped into a few officials

at the entrance just now.

They looked very serious.

It can't be something serious had happened, right?

But,

there's nothing

that His Highness cannot settle.

Yes.

I trust him.

Oh yes, Concubine Li,

there're two jars of Bi Xin Wine left.

Do you want to bring along?

Feng will get married soon.

How about

I bring the Bi Xin wine back to him?

It's good to go back too. It has been a while

that I didn't go home.

Okay.

I'll go with you.

No need.

You help me to check here

if there is any other thing

that we've left out.

Okay.

This must be kept well.

Okay.

Shen's mansion

Uncle Zheng,

I'll brought some betrothal gifts

and Bi Xin Wine.

Uncle Zheng.

Bring those things inside.

Where is he?

His Majesty doesn't want to see anyone today.

Who are you?

We meet again.

You recognised the wrong person.

♫ Beautiful songs with red candles beside the piano ♫

Lige.

I love you.

♫ Seal the moment forever ♫

Fourth Brother.

Has His Majesty

decided on Lige's incident?

No, His Majesty hasn't decide yet.

Concubine Li has been deceived since childhood.

She is a victim.

Moreover,

she had contributed a lot on incidents

such as getting rid of Lu Yuan and Xie Hao,

the war in the North

and arresting Wang Mian.

His Majesty is not an unreasonable person.

Is it so hard for him to decide?

I'll look for him now.

Sixth Brother.

His Majesty is in a difficult position.

King Jing Ling,

of course His Majesty knows that

King Peng Cheng and Concubine Li are deeply in love.

He also knows

the contributions of Concubine Li.

But, Wang Mian

mentioned about Concubine Li

in his confession letter before he died.

Even if His Majesty wants to let go Concubine Li,

he has to shut the mouth of everyone first.

Moreover, King Peng Cheng has a high status.

It's hard to convince everyone.

Concubine Li and I

had been through so many challenges,

we've made the promise to live and die together.

We'll never leave each other

in this life.

Your Highness,

you have to think well before anything now.

His Majesty's worries are valid.

No everyone can understand

the relationship of Concubine Li and the Vermilion Bird Alliance.

Those who understand

know that His Majesty is protecting the good person.

Those with bad intention

will use it against Your Highness.

They will accuse that you misuse

the status of Supervisor of Politics.

She is my woman.

I'll definitely protect her.

Okay.

All of you can leave first.

I'll leave first.

Fourth Brother, tell me what do you want to do.

I'll definitely help you.

Sixth Brother,

everything will be depend on you in the future.

You have to help brother.

Fourth Brother...

I'll not let you down.

You can leave now.

What's wrong with your legs?

My legs were probably too cold

when I took care of His Majesty yesterday.

It's okay.

Today, we'll

pack something.

We'll depart today.

Pack well. Don't simply move.

We'll make a promise now.

We'll come here every year

to hang a wind chime.

I'll do it first.

Very sumptuous.

Why?

You're afraid that you'll be hungry

to leave for three months?

No.

I don't know what's wrong with me today.

I suddenly thought of

the situation

when we went to the market for the first time.

That's why I bought all of these.

Come.

Have a seat.

Is it familiar to you?

Do you still remember this?

Yes.

It is delicious to eat this way.

And this,

and the honey cake

that I made by myself.

You didn't eat this for very long.

Try it.

It's getting good.

I think if I continue to eat like this.

When we're back after three months

I'll be a fat guy

because of all your good food.

Then, I might be disgusted by you.

Be careful that I divorce with you.

Will you?

Moreover,

in this world, besides me,

who else can accept

a woman with such bad temper?

What are you saying?

Who is bad temper?

-Look now. -Who you meant?

Isn't this bad temper?

Which woman dare

to talk to her husband this way?

Me.

Okay, that's why I like you.

I like the way you are.

Look.

Sky lanterns.

Come here.

Do you still remember

what we wrote on the sky lantern

for the first time?

If only my hearts can be changed to yours,

I'll know how deep is our love.

The Southern Wind knows my feelings,

hopefully it can bring my feelings to you.

I miss our days on the boat

very much.

After we left Jian Kang City,

I'll build another boat.

The boat floating on the lake

and went into the lotus forest accidentally.

Coming back in the evening,

and learn from Tao Qian.

While picking a chrysanthemum,

I see Nan Shan coming into the picture.

Fourth Brother,

I've been wandering for so many years.

It's not easy that

I found my family again

and get to meet you.

For me,

all of that are so precious.

It's too hard for me to let go.

I feel happy

if I can see you every day.

You've been by my side

all this while.

We've went through death and live.

It makes me feels like

no matter what we encounter,

we'll definitely overcome it.

It's not easy for us

to have the peaceful life today.

Lige,

we'll continue to be happy

just like now.

We'll never be apart.

We'll never be apart.

Do you still remember wasabi?

Come over here.

Let me tell you.

Actually, the last time,

when we went to the market,

I cheated you to try it.

Actually, I haven't tried it before.

Lige,

what's wrong with you?

It's really spicy.

Really?

Let me try it.

How come this sauce is so spicy?

I've never had

something that's so spicy.

Since it's so spicy,

then don't eat it anymore.

How come you're so stupid?

You still eat it although it's so spicy.

Wait a minute.

Close your eyes.

What do you want to do?

Close your eyes.

Hurry.

♫ As we brushed shoulders, I have fallen in love with you ♫

♫ Love you ♫

♫ The flowers were blooming ♫

♫ It gathers a lifetime of misery ♫

Why?

Don't talk.

♫ Our fate isn't us to decide ♫

♫ Our destiny is in your hands ♫

♫ I'm willing to stay by your side forever ♫

♫ Never leave your side ♫

♫ If it weren't for the chanting ♫

Fourth Brother,

I love you.

Old man,

I think

you look better

with a beard.

Okay.

As long as you like it,

I'll keep a beard forever.

This wasabi sauce is really spicy.

Let's eat.

Okay.

♫ Forbidden words are like entangled swords ♫

Cheers!

Come, drink.

Swordswoman.

Old man.

♫ I'll miss you and go through hardship with you for a lifetime ♫

♫ My heart will never feel nervous ♫

♫ I'll grow old with you and guide you with my love ♫

♫ You're drunk but still pretend to be sober ♫

♫ The world that is chasing fate and hate ♫

♫ Let go everything and chase your desire bravely ♫

Xuan Yang Door

It's okay, Lige.

It's okay.

Wait for me.

Lige.

Lige.

Close your eyes.

Listen.

They're talking in the wind again.

They said

love you.

Love you.

Love you.

Love you.

Shen's mansion

Three years later

What is this?

Look at this wide forehead.

He looks more like Feng now.

Does he cry at night?

No. He's a good baby.

Baby,

look.

Look at grandmother.

Baby.

Baby, look.

Your Highness,

after three years of peacefulness

and the effectiveness of new policy,

the people joined the army enthusiastically.

The combat power of the North

has restored to prior to the war

and it is still adding.

Good.

Besides,

we have to purchase more war horses.

Now, I'm discussing with Tuhuyun

on a long term business.

A few days later, they'll send their envoy over

to further discuss.

You come with me to the discussion later.

With Song's current strength,

it shouldn't be a problem

to seal the deal.

Okay, let's eat.

Uncle Zheng,

sit down and eat together.

Yes, Uncle Zheng.

Have a seat.

Okay.

-How come the baby cries? -My love.

Let me carry him.

Don't cry.

-Dad is carrying you. -I'm carrying you.

Don't cry.

Baby.

Since this little baby

arrives in our family,

our house has become lively.

Okay, let's eat.

Look, he doesn't cry anymore after I carry him.

Come.

Let's eat.

Come, Kang.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

The mat is sewed.

If Concubine Li knows Your Highness

appreciates this mat so much,

she will be very happy.

Fourth Brother.

Sixth Brother is here.

Fourth Brother,

this is the proposal that I prepared

regarding the officials selection.

Please have a look.

Okay.

Once we launch the officials selection programme,

there'll be more poor but talented students

enter the imperial court to be officials.

There'll be more good and talented officials

in the imperial court.

Yes.

Now that the new policy is effective,

our imperial court is transparent and clean.

The people are also having a good life.

Fourth Brother,

our wish

has finally come true.

Yes.

It has been three years.

Try it.

Soon.

Fourth Brother,

you're the Supervisor of Politics of Song.

You have to remember

your mission and responsibilities.

Because everyone in Song

is like me,

longing for happiness.

You have to be strong.

Bring my love

to protect them.

Create a good country

for the people.

My wish will then be granted.

Greetings to King Peng Cheng.
