sharks in the world are.

The reason I'm here is to study
the pack mentality of sharks,

Which is just a fancy way
of saying,

I want to get in the middle
of a frickin' feeding frenzy.

To do that, I've designed
this cage over here.

This is where I'm putting
my life

In the hands of this cage today.

Seeing these gaps, I don't know.
I'm a little nervous.

I feel so little.

I can have a front-row seat
to sharks basically going crazy

In a feeding frenzy,
so let's load it up.

and we've teamed up

With local florida scientist

Shaq asked us to look
for the most epic predation

That we can possibly find.

Predation?

that's what it means.

So we are going to get inside
a bull shark feeding frenzy

To see how
they attack their prey.

So what we're gonna
actually do is head on out

And we're gonna show you

A few cool things
about bull sharks.

Bull sharks kind of look
like wrestlers.

They have no neck,
just big muscles.

Daggers for teeth

Makes them
a pretty formidable predator.

the georgia aquarium.

Before you say anything,

I know what
you're thinking, man.

That is a shark.

a wobbegong shark.

I asked tristan
if he'd help me out,

what I need to know.

Unfortunately, a reef shark did
manage to get into the cage

I'm gonna stare down
the biggest shark I can find.

the guys to the ledge,

A deep-sea depression
teeming with over 15 species

Of hungry sharks.

There, dude perfect
will attempt to record

The attack strength
of a bull shark.

Tyler: Do we know exactly
what we're getting into?

Are we nervous about it?

Neil: We are at the spot
that I know

There are some nice-sized
bull sharks around.

Narrator: Bull sharks
grow up to 14 feet.

Neil: When it comes to
pound for pound,

The bull sharks' bite
is actually more powerful

Than a great white.

Narrator: To see just how strong
the attack of a bull shark is,

The guys will lower
a pressure gauge into its mouth.

As you can see,
we've shoved it some bait.

To bring the bull sharks
to a full frenzy.

Giving the guys their first look

I actually was bit by a shark
at one point.

It was unconfirmed.

It was either I stepped on a sea

Is deploy several tags

And also get some measurements
of these sharks.

These guys are zebra sharks,
they're benthic,

They bottom feed,
they're very relaxed,

And I think they'll be
the perfect shark for you

your confidence back.

It's a misconception
that sharks are pretty dumb.

They're actually
quite clever.

They can learn to associate
different colors

And targets with food.

Shaq:
Oh, they don't?

What do they eat
in the wild?

These guys
eat mostly crustaceans.

They're gonna eat --

Yeah, crabs and shrimp.

These guys live primarily
on the bottom.

Narrator: Zebra sharks live
at depths of 200 feet

And use their flexible body

To wiggle into small spaces
looking for prey.

Who eats them?

Well, I would say
larger sharks

Would probably
go after them.
