When the stars come out And it's night once more
It's time to go to the School of Roars
So wake up, monsters And stretch your paws
Jump up and go to the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
It's time to go to the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
You growl and grow At the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
It's time to go to The School of Roars!
[all] Raar!
[narrator] It was another super snufflesome night
at the School Of Roars
and all the little monsters were getting ready
for the make-a-monster-hat competition.
Rawr!
Ow! Mummy, help!
Oh, Yummble, why do you always leave things to the last minute? [chuckles]
Can't you help?
Oh, I'm sorry, Scrummble Yummble, but it's time for breakfast.
Oh, maybe Daddy can help.
Sorry, Yummble, I'm late for work.
[munching]
Yum-yum. [slurps]
Oh!
[roars sadly]
Bye, fang-tastic family!
[all] Bye!
Hmm.
Oh... What you've done is really great, Yummble.
Oh.
It won't win, though.
You never know. Now, eat up.
Oh-ho-ho! Yum-yum. [slurps]
[hiccups]
Rawr!
Monster-mazing!
Hi, Icklewoo.
Hi, Yummble.
Bye-bye.
Love the hat!
I love yours too.
Hey, watch this. Rawr!
Crash, crash, boom.
Wow!
[laughs]
Oh.
Icklewoo's hat's amazing.
And so is yours.
I'm so proud you made that hat all on your own.
Oh.
Off you stomp. And good luck.
Thanks, Mummy. [hums]
-Hey, Wafflebump. -Hi, Yummble.
Yum! What a hat! [roars]
[laughs]
And yours, it's monster-mazing!
Wobble-wobble. [sighs]
Rawr.
[clock] Good roaring, Monsters.
Rawr!
[all] Good roaring, Miss Grizzlesniff. Rawr!
In a moment, we will all go into the assembly hall
to decide on the winner of the make-a-monster-hat competition!
[all cheer]
Whoop-de-doo. I wonder who's going to win!
-[hat plays classical music] -[giggles]
Wow!
Your hat's brilliant, Meepa.
What does yours do?
Uh... It sits on my head.
Wobble-wobble. Oh...
He-he. It does more than that,
I love those googly eyes!
Huh?
Watch this, Yummble.
Flappy-flap-flap!
Oh, I wish my hat was clever.
Rawr.
[laughs] Come along, little monsters.
[all chatter]
Aren't all of you lovely, lovely little monsters.
[sighs]
[hums]
Oh, why aren't you joining the rest of the class, Yummble?
There's no point, Miss.
I'm not going to win.
My hat's rubbish.
Well, I think your hat is super snufflesome.
And I can tell you tried your hardest to make it the best it could be.
But what if my best isn't good enough, Miss?
There's only one way to find out.
OK, monsters, parade those hats.
[hums]
Ta-da!
My mummy got the ugly fruit from the shops
to help me make my hat. Rawr!
How lovely.
And what about your hat, Icklewoo?
My mummy helped me do all the tricky thunder and lightning bits.
Rawr! Crack-crash-boom!
-Ha-ha-ha! Super! -[Meepa giggles]
-Meepa? -[hat plays classical music]
-La-la-la-la! La! -[hums along]
I love my hat, Mrs Twirlyhorn.
Mummy helped me with the spooky music.
I can see why you love it, Meepa.
Watch this, Miss.
Flappy-flap-flap!
Daddy helped me with the wings.
Oh, so I see.
-Great, aren't they? -Splendid!
In fact, all of your hats are splendid.
What wonderful family efforts they all are.
So that leaves...ah, Yummble!
Come on in, Yummble.
Sorry I'm late, Mrs Twirlyhorn.
I'm so very glad you could make it, Yummble.
Now, what does your hat do?
Just this.
Wobble-wobble.
It was too late for Mummy and Daddy to help so I made it on my own.
[laugs] Wobble-wobble.
Oh, that's very good.
Hm, well...
It looks like we have a winner.
-[all] Oh! -Hmm.
And the winner is...
Oh.
La-la-la-la! La!
Flappy-flap-flap.
Rawr! Crash-crash-boom!
Rawr! [chuckles]
...Yummble!
Me?!
[clock] Hooray for Yummble! Rawr!
[all cheer]
Well done, Yummble.
Thank you, Mrs Twirlyhorn.
Yes! Great hat, Yummble.
I knew you'd win. It's those googly eyes.
-They're so funny and wobbly. -[hat plays classical music]
Flappy-flap-flap.
Oh...
I wish mine had googly eyes.
Yes. Yummble made his splendid hat all by himself,
which is what this competition is all about.
Hooray!
[all] Hooray for Yummble!
Ready, monsters?
Parade those hats.
[hums tune]
[all] Rawr!
[narrator] So, Yummble learned that if you always try hard and do your best,
you can achieve anything.
And all the little monsters agreed that his wobbly hat was a winner!
Wobble-wobble! Raar!
