When the stars come out And it's night once more
It's time to go to the School of Roars
So wake up, monsters And stretch your paws
Jump up and go to the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
It's time to go to the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
You can growl and grow At the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
It's time to go to The School of Roars!
[all] Rawr!
[narrator] It was another super-snufflesome night
at the School of Roars,
and all the little monsters were extra excited
because one of them would get to be the class monitor.
Yes! It's class monitor night.
I hope I get picked.
You get to wear a big class monitor badge!
And you get to tell everyone what to do!
[all] Huh?
[bell rings]
Meepa-Meepa, coming through!
Rawr!
Good roaring, monsters. Rawr!
[all] Good roaring, Ms Grizzlesniff. Rawr!
Tonight, one lucky monster will get to help out their teacher
as class monitor. And I'm going to give the job
to the monster who has been sitting most beautifully.
And that lucky monster is...
Meepa!
[kids] Hurray!
Oh, yes!
I'm in charge, I'm in charge!
[laughter]
Shush, monsters! Ms can't hear.
Right. Your first job as monitor
is to help get the classroom set up for monster science.
We'll be building houses out of different materials.
Meepa, can you make sure the class
have all the materials ready to go?
Yes, Ms!
Yummble, can you get the bricks?
Icklewoo, sticks!
Wufflebump, art straws!
Wingston, goo tape!
Oh, that's a bit bossy.
What are we waiting for?
Team Meepa, go! [claps]
[giggles]
[sighs happily]
Rawr!
Right, off to get bricks.
Sticks for me!
Who knows where the art straws are?
-Back that way. -Thanks!
Wait for me!
Oh, no!
I've dropped the goo tape!
[all] Oh, dear!
We've dropped everything.
I wish there was more of us to help.
Where's Meepa?
I'm sure she must be doing something helpful.
She is class monitor.
And monitors help everyone, don't they?
Rather than just boss everyone around.
[all] Hmm.
Rawr!
Hurry, hurry, monsters! We'd better get started.
Now it's time to build your houses.
I'll just take these bricks.
And a couple of the best bits of straw.
And some nice sticks. And then...
You can all help yourselves to those little bits and bobs.
-Grrrr. -There's not much left.
Rawr!
-Mine's a bit wobbly. -I'm not sure I want these bits.
Oof, there we go.
Super duper!
And time's up.
[all groan]
OK, class, time to test out your buildings
with the wolf test. [howls]
[all] Ooh!
Can they stand up to some really wolfy huffing and puffing?
This sounds like a job for the class monitor!
Oh!
Ta-da!
[blowing]
-Aw. -Too wobbly.
[blowing]
-Aw. -Too wonky.
-[blowing] -Meepa...
Too small!
This just a pile of snacks! [blowing]
Oh, my yummy house.
Ah, perfection.
[blowing softly]
Yes, yes! I think we have found our winner.
[others groan]
Oh...well done, Meepa. [giggles]
Now, let's tidy up before lunch. Materials away!
Your monitor will give you all your tasks.
-Forget it. -Since you're so good at everything,
you'll do a much better job on your own.
-We're going to lunch. -Hey!
Oh...
[crying]
I don't want to be class monitor anymore.
Oh, Meepa. I know you're trying very hard
to be a super snufflesome class monitor.
But...do you think you are being a teensy bit bossy to everyone?
Try to remember that a monitor is supposed to help the class,
not just tell them what to do.
Oh. I've ruined everything.
I've upset my friends. I've spoiled their houses.
I've been a terrible class monitor!
And I'll probably never get picked to be one again.
Well, what do we do when we've hurt someone's feelings?
We find a way to make it right.
OK, Ms.
Rawr!
Oh, I'm really full after that yummy lunch.
[all gasp] Wow!
-Monster-mazing! -It's huge!
I wanted to show you I was sorry.
I wasn't a good class monitor,
so I made a mega monster palace to try to make up for it.
I even made mini-monsters just like all of us.
Wow! It looks just like me, Meepa!
Hopefully we can all play together again soon.
Aww, come here.
[all] Cuddles! Rawr!
Here you go, Meepa. Have your badge back.
You mean I can be your class monitor again?
Yes. You just need to remember to help us out
instead of bossing us about.
Aww, thanks.
You're the best monster classmates ever!
[all cheer]
[narrator] So Meepa turned out to be a monster-mazing class monitor,
by being a super helper and not a super bosser.
And it was all thanks to her monster friends,
who gave her an extra chance to do her best,
because that's what good friends do.
[bell rings]
Now, don't be late for school tomorrow.
[all gasp]
-Just joking! -[all laugh]
[all] Rawr!
