When the stars come out And it's night once more
It's time to go to The School of Roars
So wake up, monsters And stretch your paws
Jump up and go to, the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
It's time to go to the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
You can growl and grow At the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
It's time to go To the School of Roars!
[all] Rawr!
Monster Choir!
[narrator] It was another super snufflesome night
at the School of Roars.
A very important night.
The Monster Choir was going to sing for all the mummies and daddies.
And Yummble had been practising very hard.
A one, two, three.
Oh, spooky night
When glow bugs shine so bright
Imagine how they flied
Oh, spooky night!
Oh, son. You really have a most beautiful voice.
I can't wait to hear you sing at the concert later.
[vocalising]
-Hooray! -Fantastic!
OK, time to go to the...
School of Roars.
Rawr!
Hey, Yummble, give us a quick sing-song.
Oh, spooky night
Ooh, spiders by moonlight
Spinning webs of white
Oh, spooky night!
Beautiful!
I'm looking forward to hearing all you little monsters sing tonight.
I'm looking forward to singing for you.
Roar!
Rawr!
Good roaring, monsters! Rawr!
Good roaring, Ms Grizzlesniff! Rawr!
Time for the class register.
Singing out of tune, please, monsters.
Wufflebump?
[out of tune] Here, Ms Grizzlesniff!
[all laugh]
Meepa?
[out of tune] That's me!
(LAUGHS) Icklewoo?
[out of tune] Here!
[laughs] Wingston?
[out of tune] Flap, Ms Grizzlesniff!
And finally, Yummble!
[in tune] Here!
-[all] Ow! -Yummble!
Monsters are supposed to sing out of tune.
Grr, Mummy and Daddy said I sing beautifully.
Not to worry.
There's plenty of time to get our singing right in rehearsals.
Rawr!
One, two. A one, two, three.
[out of tune] Oh, spooky night
When glow bugs shine so bright
Imagine how they flied
[in tune] Oh, spooky night!
[gasping]
Everything alright?
It's Yummble, Miss. His voice is so in tune!
And everybody knows that monsters only sing out of tune.
Sorry, everybody.
Um, not to worry, Yummble.
Could I have a word please, Ms Grizzlesniff?
-Alright... -[sighs]
It's OK, class.
[out of tune] Oh, spooky night
When glow bugs shine so bright!
Rawr!
What shall we do, Ms Grizzlesniff?
Yummble's singing is just too tuneful for a monster song.
[slurps] I know, Mrs Twirlyhorn.
But we can't leave Yummble out of the choir.
Quite! We always include everyone at School of Roars.
Maybe he could stand further back
so his voice blends in more.
Poor Yummble. This is a proper pickle.
[both slurp]
Rawr!
[chattering]
Not hungry, Yummble?
Oh, Wufflebump, I'm going to ruin the song tonight
if I don't sing out of tune.
Hey! How about I teach you how to sing out of tune?
Just copy me!
[out of tune] Roar, roar, roar, roar, roar
[in tune] Roar, roar, roar, roar!
Hmm, try again. Like this.
[out of tune] Roar, roar, roar
Um...
[in tune] Roar, roar, roar, roar!
[grunts]
-Try singing upside-down! -OK...
[in tune] Roar, roar, roar, roar!
[groans]
Oh, thanks for trying to help,
but I don't think I want to sing in the choir anymore.
Have some cold carrots gloop, Yummble.
That will cheer you up.
[roars sadly]
[out of tune] Yum-de-yum, yum-yum
Yum-de-yum, yum-yum Yum-de-yum, yum-yum
Yum-de-yum, yum-yum
Yum-de-yum, yum-yum Yum-de-yum, yum-yum
Oh, what a great noise!
Rawr!
And a gold star for you!
-[knocking] -Oh, hello, Wufflebump.
Hello, Mrs Twirlyhorn! Come and see Yummble!
He's doing something monster-mazing!
Lead the way! [laughs]
Oops! [laughs]
Rawr!
[murmuring]
Oh, I just can't wait to hear our scrumble Yummble perform,
Mrs Twirlyhorn. [laughs]
Oh, I can't wait, either!
I really can't.
[murmuring]
[clears throat]
Thank you all for coming!
The class have been practising very hard
so they can entertain you tonight!
-Come on, Yummble! -[shushes]
-Oh, dear. -Sorry.
So just sit back and enjoy
their rendition of "Oh, Spooky Night".
-[clapping] -[yummble's daddy] Hooray!
[hums]
Yum, yum!
[off-key] Yum, yum, yum-de-yum
Yum, yum, yum-de-yum
Oh, spooky night
When glow bugs shine so bright
Imagine how they flied
Oh, spooky night!
Oh, spooky night
Oh, spiders by moonlight
Spinning webs of white
Oh, spooky night!
Oh, spooky night
When stars are out tonight
We all glow in the night
Oh, spooky night!
[audience murmurs]
Spooky!
Bravo!
Fantastic!
[narrator] So the performance was a roaring success.
And the little monsters learned that everyone
has a special talent,
whether it's chomping in rhythm,
singing out of tune,
or like Yummble, singing perfectly in tune!
[in tune] Roar!
