When the stars come out And it's night once more
It's time to go To the School of Roars
So wake up, monsters And stretch your paws
Jump up and go To the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
It's time to go to The School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
You growl and grow At the School of Roars
School of Roars, School of Roars
It's time to go to The School of Roars!
[all] Raar!
[narrator] It was another super snufflesome night
at the School of Roars
and everyone had been to Wingston's monster-mazing birthday party -
except for Icklewoo, who had a bad case of the sniffles.
-[bell rings] -[all cheer]
Aatcho! Raar.
Rahh!
Good roaring, monsters. Raar!
[all] Good roaring, Miss Grizzlesniff.
Raar!
Who'd like to tell me what they got up to at the weekend?
We all went to Wingston's party.
We got the best party bags!
We ate the best cake and some sandwiches and ice-cream and...
Yes, thank you, Yummble.
Did you have a good time, Wingston?
Best birthday ever, Miss.
All my friends were there and it was monster-mazing!
I was really looking forward to the party,
but they didn't even notice that I wasn't there.
I feel really, really left out.
Raar.
Yay, play time! Let's pretend we were at your party again, Wingston.
Oh!
Let's play hide and seek again.
See if you can find me this time, Meepa.
OK, I'm counting.
One...two...three...
...four...five...
...six, seven, eight, nine, ten!
Coming ready or not.
And when I find you I'm going to tickle you.
Raar.
Oh, you not playing with your friends, Icklewoo?
I don't feel like I have any friends today, Miss.
I didn't go to Wingston's party
and I feel really left out.
Oh, where do you go when you need a friend to play with?
The Buddy Bench, of course.
If you sit on the buddy bench,
someone will see you're lonely and come and play with you.
Ooh!
Meepa, Meepa, I know where you're hiding.
By the swing.
Whoo-oo!
Ah, maybe you're inside the tree.
[giggles]
No.
So, I'm on the Buddy Bench.
Nobody's here yet, though.
Must hide. Oof!
I'll hide under the Buddy Bench.
Huh? Icklewoo, are you OK?
Not really.
I couldn't go to Wingston's party
and no-one asked if I wanted to play hide and seek,
so I'm sitting here to see if I can find a buddy.
Oh, I know!
Why don't I be your buddy?
-We can play I Spy. -OK.
I spy with my monster eye
something beginning with B!
Hmm.
Wingston's birthday cake was so yummy.
Meepa, Meepa, I'm going to find you.
Where can I hide?
-Ooh! -Hello, Yummble.
Oh, that's not a very good place to hide.
We're not hiding.
We forgot Icklewoo didn't go to Wingston's party.
[gasps] You didn't have any birthday cake?
That's terrible!
She was feeling left out
so I've decided to be her buddy on the Buddy Bench.
Can I be your buddy too?
Of course.
We're playing I Spy and it's something beginning with B.
Is it birthday cake?
[both] No!
Meepa, Meepa, I'm going to find you and tickle you.
-Rahh! -Ahh!
Well, this is some strange hiding.
We're not hiding. We're playing I Spy.
Can I play too?
We're looking for something beginning with B
but it's not birthday cake.
[all giggle]
I am a champion hider.
Hmm, Meepa must have found everyone else by now.
Where can she be?
Hmm, is it a bat?
No! I can't see a bat.
Hmmm...
You know what else I can't see?
Wingston.
Oh, no! I stopped looking for him
so I could be buddies with you.
And now he's hiding all on his own.
Then it's time we gave him somebody to play with.
Let's find him.
[all] Oh, Wingston?
Huh?
He's not in the nature garden.
He's not near the mud puddle.
He's not in the play tree.
He is not anywhere.
He's being such a good hider, just like he was at the party.
We wish you could have been there, Icklewoo.
Yes, the cake was absolutely yum.
There's one place we haven't looked.
[all] Wingston?
[all] Oh!
Let's keep looking. We'll find him.
Oh, let's go for a stomp
And find our fluffy friend
Because when you are With your pals the fun just never ends
[all] Wingston!
Did I win?
I got a bit bored on my own
so I thought I'll come to the Buddy Bench
and find a buddy to play with.
Oh, Wingston, we've been looking for you.
I was looking for you too.
Well, if we all look out for each other,
we'll never be without a buddy to play with.
Let's finish our game of I Spy.
It's something beginning with B.
[all] Hmm.
I spy, I spy...
The answer is buddies!
That's right.
My bestest ever monster buddies on the Buddy Bench.
[all] Grrr!
[narrator] So Icklewoo found lots of buddies on the Buddy Bench
and all the little monsters learned
it's great to look out for your friends
because they look out for you too!
[all] Cuddles!
