this investigation may be

one of the most dangerous that

There are several people
that have committed suicide,

and the owner of the house
killed himself in the house.

People are saying the house

but he wouldn't
take any of them.

thing I have left is my head."

in a place like this
where people are very weak,

they're doing drugs,

they get you to a point where
these demons want you to be,

where they then
can control you,

and it really started just
flooding my mind with questions.

John was a good person
at heart, you know?

But he just was trying
to survive.

Along the way,

he ruined a lot of people's
lives trying to survive.

I mean, this is like
the worst situation

that you can
walk into.

People that are
unfortunately addicts,

people going through
that struggle,

their own literal demons that
they're facing in their life,

and also real demons controlling
them and wanting them

to continue to do this
and ultimately take their lives.

I wholeheartedly
believe in that.

And feeding off that misery,
even into the afterlife.

Zak: Maurice edwards witnessed
something remarkable

in the back bedroom.

Tell me what you saw
in this room.

Edwards: It was a woman.
She had long, dark hair.

She looked distressed.

It seemed like
she was like right there,

and that's what
freaked me out.

I never slept in that room
ever again.

If there's spirits of the
people that have died there,

they might have that urge
to feel that drug again.

So they're gonna affect
people that are there living

to try to do more drugs.

It's just a mess.

It's a way for them to
be alive again,

in a weird,
messed-up way.

It's weird to think,
like, the addiction

actually travels

and a friend had
come over.

Her brother
was paranoid schizophrenic.

So, she spend the evening
and she comes back to.

She says,
"devon, is different sometimes?"

I said,
"well, yeah, he's --"

she said,
"no, you don't understand."

she said,
"does he change?

Like, does his body changes,
does his face change?"

and I just looked at him.
I said, "yes."

she said, "my brother died
paranoid schizophrenic.

I grew up with him
my whole life."

she said, "malai's not
paranoid schizophrenic.

He's possessed."

so, now I wanted to know
were they having possessions

or were they just having really
bad effects from the drugs?

I want to know
that there's actual demons here

and it's not just
the psychosis of being

under the influence
of all these drugs

and people
just telling me,

"oh, yeah, there's demons here,"
while they're all high.

that lifestyle

is what can attract
demonic entities...
