of a new ice age,

through to find a new home,

Over the next 16 years,
ships would make the journey,

but most of the human race

until it was clear that they could
no longer live comfortably there.

The mass migration
through the gate began.

The refugee crisis has raged on
for another 288 years,

whilst only 16 more
have passed on Earth.

humanity's original home,

unaware of the hardships that await them
on the other side of the gate.
