Your Highness.

You saw it too.

King Jing Ling hates me so much.

If I help him to ascend the throne,

I'm bringing myself to destruction.

You're a cunning person!

You speak nonsense.

You slander me!

Xuan

You must believe me.

You must believe me!

All right.

I...

will prove my innocence with my death.

Your Highness.

For this kind of drama,

just go

and play with your son.

Hand over the tiger tally.

If not, I'll kill her immediately.

Xuan.

Xuan!

You must not hand it over.

You must not hand it over!

Lu Yuan.

You're reprehensible.

The Song of Glory

Episode 37

Wait!

Xuan!

Don't!

Don't...

Watch over King Jing Ling and Her Highness.

Don't let anyone go in or out from here.

Yes!

Open the door.

Open the door!

Do you know who am I?

I'm the Great Consort Sun!

How dare you treat me like this!

Open the door!

Open the door!

Xuan.

You shouldn't give the tiger tally

to Lu Yuan.

Lu Yuan only brought back

ten thousand soldiers.

If you concentrate all troops,

and wait for your Fourth Brother,

you two

can defeat Lu Yuan together.

When did it start?

Xuan.

You can't just...

You can't just

listen to what Lu Yuan said.

Lu Yuan.

He has bad intentions.

He earn profit with private foundry.

When he raised private soldiers,

he had

the intention to rebel.

Xuan.

He said all that

to drive a wedge between us.

I don't know anything.

When?

You don't believe me.

Lu Yuan

didn't say

how much soldiers he brought back!

If you didn't collude with him,

how did you know

how much soldiers he had in Jian Kang City?

How did you know Fourth Brother's not dead?

Everything

that Lu Yuan did today

is a crime of extirpation of three clans.

He made a full confession.

If it's not the truth,

why should he slander you?

If Lu Yuan deploy the troops today...

You

and I

don't have any value.

Why do he need to drive a wedge between us?

Fourth Brother is not your biological son,

but he saved me when I'm young,

and he's filial to you,

I feel ashamed!

You were forced to leave the palace

because of grudges in the palace.

I'm out leading the soldiers at that time.

It's Fourth Brother

who ignored everyone's criticism

and brought you to King Peng Cheng's mansion.

He treats you like his biological mother.

How could you...

Xuan.

Xuan.

I didn't.

I didn't!

Trust me, I didn't.

Xuan.

Royal mother.

As I'm

calling you my royal mother,

tell me.

No.

No.

You're beyond saving.

You're beyond saving.

Why do you look at me like this?

Lu Yuan!

You killed King Peng Cheng!

You're reprehensible!

Everyone can kill you!

Why are you

so ignorant?

King Peng Cheng was killed by Wei Army.

His corpse is here.

Lu Yuan!

You're talking nonsense!

King Jing Ling just said that

King Peng Cheng's not dead.

That corpse is not King Peng Cheng.

You have bad intentions.

We can't agree with you!

Bad intentions?

I, Lu Yuan,

spare no effort

to bring back his corpse.

If it's not him,

who's that?

King Jing Ling's talking nonsense.

Nothing

happened just now.

Nonsense!

You're talking nonsense!

We won't believe you!

Lu Yuan!

How dare you use force against us!

What do you want from us?

Yue Fang.

King Peng Cheng is dead.

Please draft an imperial order for funeral.

Chief secretariat.

As the head of officials,

set an example.

Lu Yuan.

We'll never give in to you.

You think if King Peng Cheng hasn't return,

we'll be afraid of you?

This is Jian Kang City.

We'll enter the palace

and tell His Majesty about your crimes.

You're a traitor and heinous.

His Majesty will not spare you!

Kill him.

Wait!

Central Protector Lu.

Please be merciful.

Chief secretariat.

I'm sure you don't want to see

a bloodbath in Zhijian Hall.

They're ignorant.

But I remember

you're the one

who knows what's at stake.

It happened suddenly.

It's normal for them

to unable to accept it now.

Please

give me some time.

Let me persuade them.

Lu Yuan.

You and I know

what happened to King Peng Cheng.

Don't make things too difficult.

Central Protector Lu.

Give me some time.

All right.

I'll give you face.

I've surrounded Jian Kang City with soldiers.

There's not much time left for you.

and surround the Jian Kang Palace.

Not only King Peng Cheng's mansion

but we've placed our people

at every official's residence.

What about the Danyang army?

Ji Shu leaves the city yesterday

after receiving the order.

They will

arrive Jian Kang City

tonight the soonest.

All right.

You bring men to stop them.

Tell them that

King Jing Ling rebelled

and capture Ji Shu.

If anyone dares to resist,

kill him on the spot.

Yes.

Sister!

How is it?

Sister.

The Black Armored Army made some movements outside the city.

After the officials entered King Peng Cheng's mansion,

they never come out.

The guards of King Peng Cheng's mansion

have also increased.

Seems like Lu Yuan has got the tiger tally

and prepare to take action.

All right.

Luring the enemy is just the first step.

Second step

is to protect King Jing Ling

and the officials.

Zhu Rong.

Do you have news of King Peng Cheng?

No.

If His Highness and his troops

can't make it on time,

all our efforts will go in vain.

Shen Feng, Huo Yun, Zhu Rong, this is my order.

Yes.

Jian Kang City

There's not much time left.

It's not good to delay further.

Chief secretariat.

I'm not talented.

However,

I also have the integrity to not be a betrayal!

You...

What is chief secretariat...

Lu Yuan goes against the natural order.

He won't have good outcome.

I

will wait and see!

No good outcome indeed.

Central Protector Lu has given orders.

The government will not keep useless person.

Especially those idiots who cannot adapt

to current situation and unwilling to change.

Under these circumstances,

if you still don't get it,

you don't have to stay anymore.

He also asked me to tell you that

family bonds are human nature.

No matter you're going to write it or not,

he'll not let you

separate from your family.

This...

You're so unscrupulous!

This is his order.

I must obey.

You still won't write it?

All right.

Kill them!

Concubine Li?

You're alive?

Lu Yuan's death is inevitable.

confined the officials

and surrounded the king's mansion.

will be punished on the spot.

If there are people who's still stubborn,

he'll be executed immediately.

We'll be loyal.

We'll be loyal.

We'll be loyal.

and King Peng Cheng's mansion,

you'll be able to stop Central Protector Lu?

Don't even think about it!

There're tens of thousands of Danyang Army outside the city

waiting for his order.

Also,

when we ask Danyang Army
