One of my scariest nightmares
that we are about to relive.

the curtain on the biggest,

scariest, and funniest
moments from our investigations.

All right, guys,
so here in my theater,

we watched some episodes.
-Episodes.

Some are funny,
but then some of them are

some of the most emotional times
of our lives.

And this episode,

it's one that I think people
should know

a little bit more about.

And that's why I chose
the Washoe Club,

the final chapter.

This is
a very special episode,

ladies and gentlemen.

We are returning to a place

where we haven't been for
about nine years.

This is a location that pries
at every emotion that we have.

And this is a location that
we can only take so much of --
True.

...because of what
it does to us.

God, just seeing the walls,
the dust.

Everything in here, throws back
years and years of flashbacks.

ZAK: This is our third
investigation here,

including the documentary
that started it all in 2004

and our return here in 2009.

On that trip,

we were joined
by investigators Mark

and Debby Constantino,

who were intimately
connected to the Washoe.

The memory of their passing
makes this investigation

all the more emotional.

Just saying that name
brings so many memories,

both spiritual and personal.

-How you doing?
-Welcome back.

Thank you. Thank you.

Wow. Oh, the crypt.

I meet with owner
Scott Burrell in a room

that was used
as a morgue in the 1870s.

The original documentary
from upstairs,

capturing the full body
apparition --
The apparition, right.

...is still mindblowing.

Yeah, and you still have
the camera that captured it.

That's the original camera
that we captured,

the apparition figure.
-Yeah.

-I used to wear white shirts.
-My visor.

Can you believe that?

Aaron used to wear a visor
like that.

It is like
a paranormal home to me --

...but at the same time,

it's one of the places
that I fear the most.

There's things in this
building that have scared me

beyond any fear

that I've ever
collected in life.

Oh, yeah. People have done
so many things in there.

It's deep with us, though,
because they know who we are.

So it takes it
to a whole other level.
Yeah.

I've been getting messages
and visions and dreams

of coming back here

that I feel are being sent
or broadcasted to me

from the spirits
that are here.

This location lives here
within all of us.

-This place does call to you.
-Yeah.

I mean, it definitely
called to me

after the first time
being there.

As our ghost ventures began,
a called us by name.
Yeah.

The spirits here

that called us here by name
way, back 10 years ago,

they don't like us.

Maybe that's where

you're feeling
the calling you back.
Yeah.

I always feel as though
for some reason my spirit's

gonna be pulled there.
-I can see that.

Of any spirit,
personal connections,

that's the place.
-Yeah.

That's it.

They know we're here.
They're listening right now.

I can feel it.

God, I want to go back again.

I know it's addicting.
Right?

Before all this, I probably went
five or six times on my own,

having nothing to do
with ghost adventures.

-Just going.
-Like, addicted.

This is Carl.

Carl's an author,
he's also a tour guide here

at the Washoe Club.

Carl knows a lot of stuff
that we don't know.

God, this is my first
paranormal experience.

ZAK: As I'm setting up
the next interview,

I realize Aaron is missing.

All right, I feel like I had
to get off the Washoe property.

-Like it's...
-What are you -- what's wrong?

I just feel angry.

It's like, I just wanna,
like, punch the wall.

-I'm mad at myself.
-Okay.

Spirits do know us
and can affect us.

It's crazy.

ZAK: Aaron's behavior leads me
to believe that he and Billy

and I need to limit our exposure
to the powerful Washoe spirits.

I didn't want to go in there.

I wanted to wait because
I already know what's up there.
Right.

You've got Jay here.

Jay wasn't part of our original
investigation here

or second in 2009.

So, Jay, I want you to go up
there with Carl.

Carl takes Jay
to a particularly active room.

-So this is room 12?
-Yes.

We call this
the demonic spirits room.

-Oh, that's a nice room.
-Yeah.

Yeah, do you want to go
to the demonic spirit room?

-Have a little picnic?
-[ Laughs ]

This is one room you've got
to be careful of

when you're doing
an overnight domestication,

because this spirit will attack.

But there's a draw that I have
there just watching this,

like, I want to go there --
-Yeah.

-...like, I want to be there.
-Me, too.

It's like you get indulged in it

and you just get obsessed
with it.

There's things
there that we know, though.
Yeah.

-We share...
-Between us.

Yeah.

And we're talking about people

that are no longer
with us today.

It's such a deep rooted place
for us.

Jennifer Reed,
the Washoe club manager,

tells Jay about a tragic event

that occurred
on the third floor.

There was a man named Scotty.

His son and his friend
were running out in the hills

and they fell into
an empty mine.

Every time I say that part...

ZAK: Scotty's son was killed
in the accident.

REED: Scotty, he was overcome
with grief

and he blew his brains out.

[ Gunshot ]

ZAK: We moved to the crypt,

which opens up
to the second floor

and attach a recorder
to the boom mic.

That is a boom pole
that I'm holding,

ladies and gentlemen.

That is from our audio person.

I want you to come
and speak to us.

Listen.

[ Thud ]

-Did you hear that?
-That's upstairs.

-Shh, shh.
-Holy...

Did you hear it, Mike?

-Did you hear that?
-That's upstairs.

-Shh, shh.
-Holy...

That's awesome.

ZAK: Have you been somehow
sending visions messages to me?

To come back here?

Wow, just got blasted
with an ice cold wind.

-You feel that?
-I don't have any wind on me.

Oh, it just hit me
right here.
Yeah.

-Yep. It just -- from above.
-Strong.

It's just a shaft of cold air.

The entire place, just like
every single spot is active.

Anywhere you go. Anytime.

ZAK: My face is frozen,
you guys.

[ Thud ]

-Whoa.
-What was that?

And then we started getting
little rocks being thrown.
That's right, that's right.

Getting thrown at us
from above.

Did you just throw
a rock at us?

Could you show yourself
to us right now?

[ Thud ]

-Another rock.
-Are you kidding me?

-Another rock.
-Another rock!

-Are you kidding me right now?
-That was a big one, dude.

I'm sitting here
with arms folded

and a rock just hit
right here.

-[ Laughing ]
-I was getting freaked out.

I was getting really nervous
right there.

I was getting nervous

because I know
the powers of the Washoe Club.
Yeah.

I keep getting weird visions
of a...ow! Oh!

Oh, my god. Just pelt a rock.

-That. Remember that?
-Oh, that's right.

It was like a bunch of little
pebbles and dust hit my head.
Are you serious?

Or if it wasn't,
it was something touched me.

But it felt like a tiny,
little, like,

someone dropped dirt
on my head.

I just whispered to you,
I keep getting weird visions

of Mark and Deb.

ZAK: Just as Aaron says

he's having visions of our
deceased fellow investigators,

he has the sensation
of being pelted by rocks.

This is when we started
for the first time,

feeling the presence
of the Constantinos, for sure.

-Absolutely.
-Oh, yeah.

-Dude, it's them, man.
-Yeah.

Oh. [ Exhales ]

-What's wrong?
-I just want to cry.

-You okay?
-Oh, that was weird.

You all right, man?

-That was weird because it's --
-You all right?

...yeah, I just was --
I could feel --

I said their name
and I started having visions

of, like, them and...

ZAK: Aaron and I were
overcome with emotion

as we both feel
a familiar presence,

making it very difficult
to continue.

Oh, God. It was so,
it was like -- it was...

It was like
I was down for a sec.

This is just...

Kind of getting to a whole
other level right now.

[ Groans ]

And this is where
it really got tough for us.
Yeah.

Some things that we felt
in this moment,

it was really tough.

We moved to the museum area
to shake off

this intense sadness
and do an audio review.

You know, most people
don't realize is the recorder

that we're using is the recorder
that our friends used.

They're very familiar with it.

[ Indistinct conversations ]

That was happening
right when the rock happened.
Whoa.

-Whoa, listen.
-Yeah, the second rock.

[ Static ]

There, another rock. So you hear
those loud like...

[ imitating sounds ]

Those...[ imitating sounds ]

-Yeah.
-Those are spirit voices.

[ Indistinct conversations ]

You can hear us saying,
"Rock, rock, rock."

You hear those two voices loud.

But this isn't the only voice
we capture.

[ Indistinct conversations ]

-Who is that lady?
-Listen.

[ Indistinct conversations ]

-That one.
-That one.

-Oh, my God.
-Listen.

-You know who it sounds like,
-Oh, my god. It does.

That was Debbie's voice.
Yeah, that was Debbie's voice,
for sure.

Oh, it does.

It sounds exactly like her.

[ Indistinct conversations ]

That is her. It's Debbie.

I know it's Debbie.

-Yeah.
-I don't care what anybody says.

She was there.

Day two of our investigation,
we need to clear our heads

a little bit
before our lockdown.

Sometimes we do this
when we get really deep

into an investigation.

What do you do when you go
to the perfume shop?

You smell coffee beans
before you smell the next one.
Clear your palate.

Well, this is my coffee
bean kind of thing.

Is there anything that you guys
want to do in town here

before we do our lockdown?

The only thing we always do
in Virginia City

is get a caramel apple.
-Ah.

This is one part
about Virginia City I love

is these old
little candy shops.
This is a cool shop.

It's just this feeling
you have there.

It's just...

it's simplicity
of old time that's preserved.

Well, I have been
on a no sugar diet lately.

You guys all know I've been
doing that sugar-free stuff --
Yeah, we know.

...which has a really
bad side effect.

[ Laughter ]

Trust us, we know.

ZAK: Let's just say the effect
of sugar-free candy

is gastrointestinal
and leave it at that.

But for the sake of the show,

I enter
Red's Old Fashioned Candies,

which has been here since 1962.

Do you have
any sugar-free candy?
We do.

You do. Can you show me
the sugar-free section?

You better ask about
the side effects.

All the chocolates up here
are sugar-free.

So I have these left to make.

Actually, there was a lot
of hand-eye coordination.

So it was not that --
it was not easy at all.

There was a lot of timing.

You got to let the perfect

And I took it very seriously.

And you know what?
After I started making this,

I was on no sugar-free diet,
no more.

But I've seen
how these things look

when they're finished.

So there's something
I need to debunk.

Why do they call
these turtles?

They don't look like turtles.

No. See, it looks like
there's a little head.

There's the little tail.

There's the little legs
sticking out.

Where's the tail?

They don't not
look like turtles to me.

They look like a pile of peanuts
with a bunch of caramel on it

and fudge,
you know what I mean?

See, there's a little tail

and his little head sticking out
there and his feet.

That doesn't look like a turtle.

That one kind of looks
like a turtle.

The one right there that did
look like a turtle a little bit.

Alice flash freezes my turtles
so we can do a taste test.

What are you out in
the cold for?

I just made some of the best
turtles that you'll ever,

ever eat in your entire life.

This is a turtle.

ZAK: We return to the Washoe
and our harrowing investigation.

Okay, we had some laughs.

We needed that after we had
a very emotional,

intense experience
in here already.

So before we start
our lockdown, Billy,

really quick, how much does
this evidence mean to you?

Everything.

ZAK:
Billy was a hardcore skeptic

before he joined the GA team.

He investigated the Washoe Club
on my suggestion.

What he captured
made him a true believer.

This place
is the proving grounds.

It's what made me believe
in ghosts.

This is really what brought

Billy to
the Ghost Adventures crew --
Yeah.

...is the Washoe Club.

-It's true.
-Right?

Washoe kind of
brought us together.

On that mission way back
over 10 years ago --
10 years ago.

...that you have
never revealed to anybody.

an anomaly first.

I'm showing you the most
ridiculous anomaly

that I've never seen
anything like it.
Okay.

Here's the slow motion.

This gives me chills
every time I look at this

because it's a free floating
apparition that are segmented,

and it's not...
It has three
different appendages.

I still don't know
what the hell that is.

I've watched that
a hundred times.

ZAK: I've never seen anything
like that, ever.

It's weird. It's like a tripod.

The most compelling part is how
it goes around that door frame

about 12 feet from the camera,

letting you know
that it was that big

and had that much substance
to be illuminated in the IR.

It looks like goes back up
from there --
Right.

...like it has own flight.

There's a bottle shaped anomaly
that floats by.

This is slow motion. This thing
looks like -- what is that?

Looks like a whiskey bottle.

Dude.
Does that not look like
a bottle going through midair?

-It does look like a bottle.
-Someone's just walking it by.

-Right.
-And this was the gambling room.

This is that room upstairs.

This is where
I was first touched.

it sounds like a regular person.

I mean, that's full on
like they're alive

and have throats
and voice boxes and lungs.

This is the final chapter

of our Washoe Club
investigation.

This is an emotional
investigation for us.

We are all very tense.

It's personal.

With the loss
of friends of ours,

we didn't know what to expect,
but we did know

that this location affected them
very, very, very, very strongly.

Think how many times
they went there.

Oh, they were there
all the time.
They lived real close by.

Yeah, they were in Reno.

ZAK: As Billy, Aaron,
and myself head upstairs

to begin our investigation,

Jay Wasley
will keep a very close eye on us

by monitoring four X cameras
from base camp,

which is located
directly beneath us.

We had a lot more
advanced equipment this time.
Oh, yeah.

I think I had five cameras
on that rig.
Yeah.

We had a thermal, I had SLS,
I had full spectrum.

My arms were sore
from carrying that.
Right?

It's been a long time,
spirits.

Tonight when we're here,
I want you to gather around us.

And communicate and talk.

Watch this.

Just as I ask if the spirits
are going to

show themselves tonight,
my full spectrum camera captures

an unexplained
mist-like anomaly.

Watch very closely as it
moves from right to left

while also changing shape.

And because of these
visual characteristics,

we conclude that this is not
any type of explainable light

or lens flare.

-Yeah, remember that?
-Yeah.

It looks like a man
running like two steps.

-It kind of does.
-Yeah, kind of, yeah.

It's very hard to capture things
on the full spectrum camera.
It is.

On this particular
full spectrum.

-Aaron?
-Yeah.

-Because this is -- whoa.
-Yeah.

Because this was your first
experience...

As I begin to speak,

it feels as though
something enters into me

with the ability to disable
my own conscious thoughts.

This is what worries me
are these moments that I have

and how many of them
that I've had

and what did they do to my body
in the long-term physically?

We connect on a level
that's very strong.

And what does that do to their
physical organs and stuff?

You know?

Just as this occurs,
we are all totally unaware

of what
the SLS camera captures.

You couldn't even talk
just now.

It's powerful.

This is absolutely incredible.

A fully formed figure appears
in the center of the hallway

and then suddenly it vanishes
into thin air.

That is incredible.

Each appendage,

each leg, each arm
is moving independently.

Like if you get up
and you're walking,

everything's moving differently.
-Yeah.

It was mapping in
every extremity differently.
Yeah.

It kind of looks like a female

'cause it had like a certain
kind of sway to it, I guess?
Yeah, swagger.

And you got to know that
in the back of our minds,

is this our friends,
you know.
Mm-hmm.

And if they were
gonna be anywhere,

they would be there knowing

that they could communicate
with us.
100%.

ZAK: As Aaron and I
move to the spot

where this figure manifested,
we receive a spirit voice.

[ Indistinct voice ]

What was that?

That sounded like
a girl, Zak.

-I wanna see that again.
-That is so cool.

Look at this.

[ Indistinct voice ]

What was that?

ZAK: Is this the spirit that was
just seen in this exact space?

What was that?

-Did you hear the girl?
-I heard the girl, man.

You can hear it.

Yeah.

Who else is with you?

Don't you feel like
a dry sponge

being thrown into a puddle,

when you go in there?
-It just absorbs everything.

[ Speaks indistinctly ]

But we don't receive
any more responses.

So we start looking
for her in hopes

that she will talk to us again.

-Keep going.
-Keep going.

Yeah.

Whoa, what'd that say!

What did that say?

You all right?

-Oh, yeah, what was that?
-I don't know, dude.

Just as I say,
that something shot through me,

a very large and bright light
anomaly appears in front of me.

ZAK: We're hearing voices
and being physically contacted

at the Washoe Club
in Virginia City.

The Washoe Club
is the very first place

that Aaron had
a real experience with a spirit.
Yeah.

Can you believe that that was
15 years ago, Aaron?

-Oh, my god.
-15 years ago.

Dude. [ Laughs ]

In 2004 was our first

investigation
of the Washoe Club.

I'd like all of you to come
to my voice now.

AARON: God, that place,
that corner right there.
Yeah, that spot?

That was scary like when
we first did the film there.

I think we should try
this experiment.

I have three digital recorders.

These are the original recorders
that we've used for 10 years.

I changed the settings on them.

ZAK: What are all
those settings mean, Bill?

Different quality
of recordings.

And some will get
more than others.

-It's really weird.
-Yeah.

We learned that from
Mark and them.

-I learned that from them.
-Yeah.

This one will be a better
recording than this one

and this
will be the worst recording.

But sometimes that
low frequency

will come through better
in EVP.

So as an experiment, I'm gonna
roll all three of them.

I'm back.

It's really been about
10 years since I've been here

and trying to communicate
with whatever's here,

whoever's here.

I've heard all of your voices
and there's many of you.

You're all here,
I know you're here.

When you call them out
like that,

they'll respond, yeah.

This is
the best place to investigate.

I want to hear
your voices again.

We're never coming
back here again.

Mark and Debbie,

I spent hours, hours in here

watching you guys communicate
with the spirits.

I didn't even believe
that it was possible.

And the first time I came here,

at that moment was the fact

that they were there
for my first experience.

And so they just
were all around me.

So the emotions just,

This was tough.
It's tough to watch it again.

I just still can't believe
they're gone.

And I have so much anger
for what happened.

Debbie shouldn't have left
the world the way she did.

-She didn't deserve that.

We sat up here for hours
as friends and communicated

with whatever is here.

Good, bad, evil.

I know that there's not
all evil spirits here.

There's good here, too.

I have anger for the other
said person a lot.

-They were our friends.
-I know.

You know, I'm saying?

Debbie was taken
out of this world

from us in a way
that she shouldn't have been.

-Oh.
-Are you okay?

Yeah, I'm all right.

That's that's probably
been held in for a long time.

I need to hit stop on this.

I don't even think you should
use any of that.

I just...

Mm-hmm.

All that I'll say is

is that there's some reason why
we were called there by spirits.

There's just something is there,

that somehow, some way
has a very firm grip on us.

-On a personal level --

...that I don't think we'll ever
know until we cross over.

It's not an accident
you sent me there

and I met with them
and I got those

incredible EVPs
that made me intrigued.

It's all part of a plan.

I think we need to know

While Billy heads down
to base camp

to review our recordings,

Aaron and I head upstairs
to the suicide room.

If they were to greet us
at any location, this is it.

-This is it.
-For sure.

Because the spirits connected us
together with them.

There's a man here
committed suicide

sitting in this exact spot.

I get these weird...

[ Speaks indistinctly ]

There's a...
it looks like a head.

I've chilled up right now.

Body is frozen.
Who is around me?

Can you tell me

Did I just see somebody

The Washoe Club is a living,
breathing entity

and for us, we're very connected
to the energy.

It takes it
to a whole other level.
Yeah.

Stomping, stomping, stomping.

[ Indistinct conversations ]

-Did you hear that?
-Yeah.

[ Indistinct conversations ]

-A wild snarl.
-Yeah.

After we capture this loud,
unexplained, guttural hiss...

Aaron and I continue
investigating the top floor

when something
remarkable happens.

[ Thud ]

-Whoa, whoa.
-Aaron, Aaron.

Dude, dude!

ZAK: We're gathering ample
evidence of paranormal activity

at this Virginia City landmark.

-Whoa, whoa.
-Aaron, Aaron.

Dude, dude! The door!
The door shut.

You forget about all the things
that happened that night

because it was so long,

but there was a lot
of good evidence.
Mm-hmm.

ZAK: As Aaron and I walked
through a doorway

with the door clearly wide open

and not in motion
against the wall.

As you can see right here,

we are far away
in the other room

and we hear that door
slam shut all by itself.

So this door --
So this had didn't
make any sense.

...Aaron and I cleared
this whole area

and then this door slams.
-Yeah.

Whoa, whoa! Dude! The door!

A door doesn't shut
by itself, Aaron.

God, man,
I didn't watch the rest of this.

I was so emotional
watching this.

-I know.
-I never saw most of it.

We just captured a door
moving by itself.

Bro, that was like right
after you left the room, too.
