some racing around town.

when we did the corn maze race

that now we are organizing
an even bigger competition.

The family is dividing
into teams,

and lauren and I are staying
back to watch the kids.

We decided to create the teams
based on the old buddy system

we used to use,
with some updates.

The buddy teams
got started years ago

when our older children
were very little

and I had a number
of little ones

under like
the age of 10.

I would team them up,

and we found which ones
seemed to work best together,

and it just kind of
grew into buddy teams.

I feel
pretty confident.

I feel like we have

a wide variety of talents

but at the same time,

we only have austin,

The duggar dash is going to be

a series of challenges
around town.

The quicker a team
finishes the challenge,

the sooner they get instructions
for the next one.

The first team
to finish all the challenges

and make it back to the
big house will be the winner.

So there's no
cutting corners.

We want to be safe
and have a great time.

For the first challenge,

one representative
from each team

will have to eat
a mystery food item.

To start this game off,
I need each team

to choose one representative
from your team

for this challenge.

We're going to play
"musical chairs,"

but instead of
having chairs,

we're going to have
four colors of tiles over here.

Whichever color square
a person lands on

will determine the mystery food
that they will eat

and the color of their team
moving forward.

Tater tot casserole is,

a family favorite going back
to when the kids were young.

Some of the family tried haggis
when we went to scotland.

I love tater tot casserole,

so that's what I was hoping
I would get.

But I definitely
did not want haggis.

I've had haggis before,
and it was terrible.

It's probably
one of the worst things

I've ever put in my mouth.

tried cricket tacos

when they visited
jinger and jeremy in laredo.

Well, the first time
we saw cricket tacos

was back when I was in
my first trimester,

and I was

on their honeymoon in paris.

and it was actually very good.
