1616,

Ieyasu passed away.

His body was carried out of
Sumpu Castle after 6:00 PM.

Just as Ieyasu stated
in his will,

the procession headed for
Kunosan that night.

For 75 long years,

he continued
to pray for peace.

And now his corpse was buried
at Mt. Kuno, facing west.

After one year, his body was
to be buried at Mt. Futara

to become the root for peace.

His awesome will brought an
end to the age of wars.

How did future generations

accept this great man's
exceptional prayers?

History, with it's
keen judgment,

is sure to pass
a verdict.
