my closest relationship

throughout this whole project
was with Franco.

He relied up on me,
I relied upon him.

We're not in our old studio,

but we're moving into
another studio.

But we thought we'd really
go guerrilla filmmaking,

out on the street,
doing stuff together.

And I was just
his little bitch. Wow.

I think one of the best ideas is
we're just gonna, like, wing it.

And we have a few ideas.

We're just going to, like,
stop people on the street.

And these are
really great characters.

These are, like,
the bedrock of society,

hardworking entrepreneurs.

It's going to be his story.
That's one of our stories,

the rise and fall of Don Punta.

So, that's our show, but also,

we have a reality
outside the show.

And this Don Punta,
who has some of our money,

is filming down there.

We believe he may have
taken the $20 million.

So, we have a mystery within
a mystery, within a mystery.

We're gonna be dealing with one
of our guys who's filming,

the least one you suspect,
the stupidest,

the most ridiculous,

the worst dressed,
and he may be the guy.

Well, regardless,
when you come back from Cuba,

if you come back alive,

I came on to this production

maybe I was going to do
something unique.

It was a reality show.

I guess that's the nature

of this specific production,
anyway.

Thinking about production,

I can sort of compare it

to Orson Welles's last project.

You know, that psychedelic
thing he did,

The Other Side of the Wind.

That's what it reminds me of.

Same type of chaos

and smorgasbord
of actors and characters.

You know, I mean, you get
an idea of what it was like

being in that production.

But you got to
give this guy credit.

This is some interesting stuff,
interesting characters.
