Your Highness,

I'll serve you.

He's really injured.

Let's see how long you can endure.

I'm tired.

I'll back to my mansion first.

Your Highness,

I was careless.

I forgot that I have prepared

presents for

Your Highness and Consort Li.

Have a look.

Good that you're here.

Your Highness,

please have a look.

Consort Li and I will definitely like

the gifts from Central Protector.

You can send the gifts

directly to my mansion tomorrow.

Your Highness,

I've spent a lot of time

to prepare these gifts.

I hope Your Highness will like it

and give me a chance

to express my gratitude.

Moreover,

there are some gifts among these

that I chose especially for Consort Li.

Your Highness, if you

don't want to have a look now,

in case there's something that are not suitable

that annoyed Consort Li,

things will be bad.

Your Highness,

This crystal jade

is exquisite.

It is as transparent as water.

Although it is not as valuable

as jade from Kunshan,

but it matches

the status of Consort Li very well.

This bow

is named as Dingkun Bow.

It is made from the horn of a cow.

The bow string is made from the back muscle of a dragon.

It is very tenacious.

This bow is very suitable

for Your Highness.

Your Highness,

you can try it now

so that I can

broaden my horizons too.

Someone come forward please.

Put on the arrow.

No need.

Keep it.

San Bao

let's go back to mansion.

Yes.

Your Highness, please stay.

Central Protector Lu,

Your Highness said he wants to go back to his mansion.

Military Advisor Cao, how come

you have such a big reaction?

Is there anything wrong

with Your Highness's health?

I'm just a little high.

I'm fine.

I'm

really tired.

Great Consort has arrived.

Great Consort.

Kang.

Everyone leave now.

Send all the presents over.

Yes.

Royal Mother.

What happened?

There are many rumours in the house

saying that there is an assassin.

I'm really worried

about your safety.

I'm just

inviting Central Protector Lu over

to have a few drinks.

Just to have a few drinks?

Kang,

how come you're so unruly?

It's your wedding today.

You're still sick.

If you drink too much and something happened,

what should we do then?

And you,

what kind of

Military Advisor Cao are you?

Why didn't you stop him?

Kang,

how are you feeling?

Let me see.

Royal Mother,

I...

am fine.

Great Consort,

it's all my fault.

If something happened to His Highness

in Lu's Mansion,

I have to bear the responsibility

I'm fine.

You look so pale,

and yet you said you're fine.

Have a seat.

Kang, you are not well.

Can you not always

do something nonsense?

Luckily, I brought physician along.

Physician.

No need physician,

I'm fine.

Great Consort, His Highness is tired.

Quickly send His Highness back to his mansion.

What are you waiting?

Cure him now.

Great Consort,

His Highness is just drunk.

Military Advisor Cao,

Great Consort is just caring about her son

and want to ensure that His Highness is fine,

then only she can be at ease.

Right, Your Highness?

Physician...

Hold on.

Royal Mother, how come you're here?

I'm just worried

about both of you.

Your Fourth Brother is unwell,

you still let him do something nonsense.

Thank you Royal Mother.

Sorry to make you come over.

Fourth Brother is happy today.

Therefore,

he asked me come along and drink with Central Protector Lu.

I just

don't want to make him disappointed.

It's all my fault.

I didn't consider thoroughly.

Fourth Brother, you're drunk.

I just went out to settle something.

And now that I'm back,

there's fire here again.

This looks like a huge fire.

Lu's Mansion

is full of smokes now.

The smoke is quite thick.

San Bao,

quickly send His Highness back to his mansion.

All right.

Wait a second.

Can we allow

the physician to have a look?

Your Fourth Brother looks...

His...

Royal Mother.

This...

Fourth Brother is having a cough.

It is very smoky here,

how can he be well?

Everyone, let's quickly get back to mansion.

Ji Shu.

Yes.

You send Her Highness back to her mansion.

Xuan, I...

Royal Mother, don't worry.

When Fourth Brother is awake tomorrow,

I'll bring him along to greet you.

Ji Shu,

you have to send Her Highness

to her mansion safely.

Yes.

Great Consort, this way please.

Royal Mother, please.

Your Highness.

If you come a step forward,

I'll make sure you die with an incomplete body.

Let's go.

Fourth Brother,

be careful.

Lu's Mansion

You're injured?

I know.

You are not willing to kill me.

You're the Consort Li who I'm looking for.

I'm very happy.

I've been looking all over Jian Kang City,

and released all the sky lanterns,

but I still can't find you.

Do you know?

When I feel that

I'm about to lose you,

I really wanted to

let go everything and look for you.

But I didn't expect that

you're the Consort Li who I'm going to marry.

Don't cry.

Don't cry.

I found you now.

I will never let you go.

But I...

Don't worry.

I know.

The person you want to kill is not me.

You...

Why did you treat me so good?

I presented this to you.

Don't return it to me again.

This time

it saved my life.

Fourth Brother.

Fourth Brother.

You...

Poisonous blood?

Fourth Brother, you're poisoned.

Could it be...

Could it be the dagger is poisonous?

Fourth Brother.

Fourth Brother.

King Jing Ling,

quick! Don't go back to mansion, go to San Jiu Tang.

Cannot, Your Highness.

I trust her.

Fourth Brother.

Fourth Brother.

Lige!

No.

Master,

you saved me?

Why

I haven't received the news of King Peng Cheng's death?

Both of you have failed?

Master,

King Peng Cheng is poisoned.

I took all my efforts

to set up everything.

If it's not because

I've put poison on the dagger,

everything

will be destroyed by both of you.

Master,

King Peng Cheng is poisoned with Thousand Tread Poison.

He'll die definitely.

Lige was caught Lu Yuan.

We have to save her.

I know what to do. You don't have to care.

Master!

Master,

Lige is very dangerous now.

Only you can save her.

Let go!

Master!

I beg you, master.

Senior.

Senior,

you're injured.

Get up quickly, senior.

I must save Lige.

Senior!

Senior, calm down.

You're badly injured.

How to save Sister Li?

Come.

Senior,

have a seat.

What can I do?

Kong Cheng,

what happened to master?

What had happened

when I was coma?

And,

how come Lu Yuan knows

the location of Luohua Relay Station?

When I arrived at Luohua Relay Station,

I realised there are

luminous powder of Vermilion Bird Alliance on the floor.

Luminous powder?

Serve a master faithfully

Central Protector.

Where are them?

I asked you to keep an eye on the dungeon, right?

It's King Jing Ling.

King Jing Ling kept me busy

and released them purposely.

Them?

A man in black who is good in kungfu

used the opportunity to save the people.

It should be the secret guard of King Peng Cheng.

Xu Zhan.

What a good diversion strategy.

Let's see how long you can endure.

You saved her tonight.

But you don't know whether

you can save the Shen family tomorrow.

Senior!

Senior,

San Bao, quickly look for a chair.

Lige?

Senior.

You were caught by Lu Yuan, right?

Who saved you?

Fourth Brother.

Senior, his situation needs urgent help.

Save him please.

But he is King Peng Cheng.

Your Highness,

calm down.

Senior,

we're brother and sister.

We grew up together.

I haven't begged you for anything before.

This time

I beg you.

Senior,

don't you feel that

this incident is weird?

You have never suspected

everything that we believed since young?

Master has been telling us that,

King Peng Cheng is useless.

But, the Fourth Brother who I know,

is a good king who cares for the people,

and vow to eliminate traitors.

What is happening?

And,

Vermilion Bird Alliance has never used poison before.

But this time

master acted so differently.

How to explain all these?

I took all my efforts

to set up everything.

If it's not because

I've put poison on the dagger,

everything

will be destroyed by both of you.

Master!

Although I don't know

what is the truth.

But I trust

the Fourth Brother who I know.

Maybe master has been blinded by something.

But, as long as we save Fourth Brother now,

all our doubts

will be solved.

Senior,

a physician should have a kind heart.

If the person who is sitting in front of you now

is a normal citizen,

you won't see him die, right?

Senior,

I beg you.

I beg you.

Get up first.

Senior.

Senior.

I really hope

he is the person who you've known.

I cannot guarantee that

I can save him.

Thank you senior.

Without further ado, let's start with acupuncture,

to halt the spread of the poison.

Kong Cheng, prepare things.

All right.

There were some hiccups

during the assassination,

but everything is still within control.

It's too early to say that.

Don't worry.

The dagger is poisonous.

Without my antidote,

Liu Yikang will definitely die.

Keep an eye on

your student who is good in medical,

to avoid any unwanted thing to happen.

Although Xun has some doubts,

but he dares not to suspect me.

I've waited for many years

and planned for so long.

Everything I did is for today.

As long as Liu Yikang died,

Shen family will be in trouble.

King Peng Cheng and Shen Tingzhang,

hope both of you like

this present.

What is the situation now?

This poison is called Thousand Thread Poison.

There are 2 guiding drugs in the antidote.

One is the gallbladder of a white tiger.

It's very dangerous to get.

Another is the agarwood from India.

It's very rare.

We have to find

these 2 guiding drugs within these 2 days.

If not, he can't be saved.

Agarwood from India?

I think I heard it somewhere.

I think I heard about it in King Peng Cheng's mansion.

San Bao, you and I look in the mansion.

Xu Zhan, you look for it outside.

Yes.

Consort Li,

please take care of Fourth Brother.

We'll come back as soon as possible.

All right.

Let's go.

What are both of you thinking?

Fourth Brother almost sacrificed his life

to save Consort Li.

If both of you can't

understand his intention,

then you are not eligible to be by his side.

I'm sorry.

Let's go.

Lige, please accompany him.

I'll cook some medicines.

Let's go, Kong Cheng.

I'm sorry.

Lu Yuan was right.

Consort Li

is not as simple as we see.

King Peng Cheng is willing to sacrifice

his life for her.

If it's not because of Xuan just now...

Great Consort,

since King Peng Cheng is injured,

everything will be exposed sooner or later.

King Jing Ling is just being deceived now.

He'll understand Your Highness's intentions soon.

Great Consort,

don't have to worry too much.

Shen Leqing.

Great Consort, please give your order.

Keep an eye on that herbs room.

If you realised someone from Cheng Xiu Pavillion,

report to me immediately.

All right.

Have you searched upstairs thoroughly?

Here! I haven't search here.

Keep searching.

Gallbladder of tiger.

Where is the gallbladder of tiger?

If we cannot find the gallbladder of tiger and agarwood,

King Peng Cheng might die.

Agarwood.

Agarwood.

King Peng Cheng

is injured?

This name is very familiar.

I must have heard it somewhere before.

King Jing Ling,

all these herbs are in the record.

Agarwood.

Herbs records and dosage

How come the smell of the joss

today is different from before?

This is agarwood from India.

I remember it now.

Royal Mother has agarwood.

Agarwood is with Royal Mother.

How about this?

I'll look for Royal Mother now

to get the agarwood.

You continue to search for gallbladder of tiger.

And,

get other herbs too.

All right.

Royal Mother.

Xuan,

how come you're still in the mansion?

Royal Mother,

I didn't rest well lately.

I couldn't sleep well.

And, I always feel headache.

I remember that the agarwood from India

can calm someone's mind.

Therefore, I'm here to get from Royal Mother.

Chun Fang, quickly get some.

Yes.

Xuan,

you always busy with your work.

You must take care of your health.

I'll remember

Royal Mother's words.

Thank you Royal Mother.

My memory

is becoming bad.

When did I finish it?

There were still many left a few days ago.

Great Consort was not

feeling well in the past few days too.

She lighted these agarwood from India every day.

In that case,

I'll leave first.

You did a good job.

It's my pleasure

to serve Great Consort.

But why did Great Consort

hide it from His Highness?

Sorry, Great Consort.

I talked too much.

Besides the agarwood from India,

what medicine is he searching?

Gallbladder of tiger.

Continue to keep an eye on the herbs room.

Remember, don't ask thing

that you're not supposed to ask.

Noted, Great Consort.

Pass my message to Central Protector Lu.

Ask him to check on the usage

of these 2 herbs.

Yes.

The agarwood

is a daily necessity of Great Consort.

Why she knows that San Bao

and King Jing Ling need it but she doesn't want to give?

On the wedding night,

Great Consort left her mansion in a rush.

Lu Yuan was very nervous too.

There must be something

weird in it.

King Jing Ling has passed down his order.

Non-related people

are not allowed to move freely in the king's mansion.

Everyone please be alert.

Standby.

Yes.

The middle troops is acting abnormally.

Something serious must have happened.

The injuries of King Peng Cheng

is not a coincidence.

But, it's his wedding night, who...

Shen Lige.

Let us in.

King Peng Cheng is too unreasonable.

He just got married with our lady,

and now he doesn't let us meet her.

You...

How come you're here?

What is in your hand?

Show me.

How come you girls are still shouting here?

The situation is already serious now.

Don't try to investigate

on things that His Highness doesn't want others to know.

Quickly leave here.

Let's go, Xiao Xin.

Let's go back first. We'll talk again later.

Let's go.

Carry that stuff away.

Yes.

Sub by iQiyi & Ripped by skysoultan ♔ Follow @skysoultan on Instagram ♔

How?

Did you find it?

These 2 herbs don't exist in the mansion.

This...

What should we do now?

I've brought all the

precious herbs here.

Let's see if there's anything useful.

Senior.

Great.

These few herbs are all useful.

Together with acupuncture

he will be safe temporary.

Military Advisor Cao, follow me.

Consort Li,

what happened actually?

Can you tell me now?

Are we not friends?

You can trust me.

Actually,

I'm not the daughter of the first wife of Shen family.

The daughter of the Shen family

is my sister, A Nu.

She died at the hands of Lu Yuan since long.

And

I'm an assassin of the Vermilion Bird Alliance.

I've been roaming around since I was young.

I don't know

who are my parents.

Master told us

that we are the orphans of the deceased loyalists

during the civil unrest.

Our parents

were seen as mobsters by King Peng Cheng.

They were all put to death.

Master also told us that

King Peng Cheng is an useless king.

He defends traitors for his own benefits.

That's why we want to kill him.

Firstly,

we want to revenge for our family.

Secondly,

we want to kill him for the benefit of the people.

But I didn't expect that

King Peng Cheng

is Fourth Brother.

I didn't want to involve

the good people from Shen family too.

Now,

as long as Fourth Brother can regain conscious

and keep Shen family save,

I'm willing to kill myself to show my gratitude.

I didn't expect that

you had a rough life.

Days like that

must be hard, right?

Maybe the past incident

is not as simple as you think.

But, only Fourth Brother can give you an answer.

That's why the most important thing now is

to help Fourth Brother regains consciousness.

As long as Fourth Brother is around,

he'll be able to control this incident.

He can save you

and Shen family.

Hopefully we can find that 2 herbs

as soon as possible.

Actually,

I've hid something just now.

There are agarwoods in the mansion

and it is in Ren Shou Pavilion of our Royal Mother.

But,

I don't know why

Royal Mother doesn't want to give me.

I can't tell her

about Fourth Brother being poisoned too.

That's why I...

Meaning to say

Great Consort has agarwoods?

Yes.

Your Highness, Consort Li,

it's past 3am now.

The ministers will enter the imperial court for an assembly

2 hours later.

His Highness

has summoned the students to enter the imperial court

while he announces the new policy.

I think it is too late

if we inform now.

Moreover, according to the rules,

His Highness and Consort Li

should greet the Great Consort.

Quickly

go back to King Peng Cheng's mansion now.

All right.

Zhijian Hall

Grand Tutor,

today is the day that I'll be appointed as an official.

I have a poor background.

I didn't expect that I'll be so lucky

to receive the blessing of King Peng Cheng.

I'll definitely fulfil Grand Tutor's last wish

and never disappoint

King Peng Cheng.

Chief Secretariat.

Chief Secretariat.

Today is the first assembly

of the students that were elected by King Peng Cheng.

Poor students get to become officials.

This is not something good.

Does Chief Secretariat has any strategy to overcome this?

We don't have to be afraid of these poor students.

Chief Secretariat,

the purpose of King Peng Cheng doing this

is to inform all the officials

that the implementation of the new policy is a must.

When the time comes,

I'm afraid that...

Minister of Revenue,

don't frightened people with your words.

We are both important ministers.

We shouldn't be afraid of these newcomers.

Greetings to Chief Secretariat.

Greetings to Chief Secretariat.

Looking at this formation,

we might become unimportant people

in Zhijian Hall from now onwards.

Chief Secretariat, Minister of Revenue.

Central Protector Lu.

Central Protector Lu,

I heard that your mansion was quite happening last night.

King Peng Cheng and Great Consort were there.

Minister of Revenue has pretty

good sources.

You got to know so soon.

Could it be that

there cronies of Minister of Revenue are in my mansion?

It's just hearsay.

Don't make fun of me, Central Protector.

Central Protector Lu,

is there any

unspeakable secret?

Chief Secretariat,

you don't have to act on hearsay evidence.

I have been

very honest with you.

Last night,

King Peng Cheng really came to my mansion.

That's why

I want to seek help from Chief Secretariat.

Seek help?

There will be something big

happen in Zhijian Hall today.

When the time comes, I hope Chief Secretariat

can cooperate with me.

Consort Li,

at this time,

all the officials should have arrived.

His Highness is still unconscious.

What should we do now?

Don't be nervous.

There'll be ways.

Where is King Jing Ling?

Consort Li.

Fourth Brother is still unconscious?

His Highness, don't drag anymore.

You should replace King Peng Cheng

to attend the assembly in Zhijian Hall

and calm the officials first.

All right, leave Zhijian Hall to me.

And

we have to get the agarwood first,

then only we can save Fourth Brother.

I'll greet

the Great Consort now.

I'll act accordingly.

No one will realise anything if we do according to the plan.

And Your Highness doesn't have to feel awkward too.

OK.

Be careful.

San Bao,

get King Peng Cheng's seal.

Your Highness,

we really want to do this?

Open it.

Fourth Brother,

we're in an emergency situation now.

I have no choice but to do this.

After you regain consciousness,

I'll beg for your forgiveness.

Let's go.

What happened?

What happened?

Where is King Peng Cheng?

King Jing Ling is...

Appoint General Anbei, Shen Tingzhang

as General Zhenbei.

Shen Yang as Lord of Anqi.

Set up Shi Lin Tang and

appoint the King's Assistant Minister,

Fang Qing to be the person in charge.

He will work under the Legislative Checking Department.

He will assist me in handling all the official matters from today onwards

and provide suggestive advices.

King Jing Ling will manage all the official matters temporary.

King Jing Ling will manage all the official matters temporary?

What happened?

What happened?

Something happened to King Peng Cheng?

What happened to King Peng Cheng?

He didn't even attend

such an important assembly.

Greetings to Great Consort and Princess Consort.

Wishing both of you always happy.

Be at ease.

Thank you Great Consort.

I'm here to serve tea to Great Consort

and Princess Consort today.

Consort Li is really thoughtful.

Be here so early to send your greetings.

Princess Consort has taught me that

Song's people have to have good manners and respect the elders.

Great Consort is of higher status, I definitely have to be respectful.

I have to practice good manners too.

Over the years,

everything in the mansion

are in charge by the Princess Consort.

She is the most important person

in this mansion.

She respects me because I'm older.

Good girl.

Both of you are good girls.

I'm relieve that

both of you can get along so well.

King Peng Cheng is lucky

if both of you get along well.

Royal Mother is correct.

Consort Li,

how come

you look tired?

Is that you haven't

get used to this new place?

I'm fine.

Thank you Great Consort for asking.

I heard that

last night there was assassin

in Fang Yin Pavilion.

Really?

I slept very well last night.

I didn't hear anything.

Moreover, the mansion is heavily guarded.

How could there be an assassin?

Report to Great Consort and Princess Consort.

King Peng Cheng didn't attend the assembly in Zhijian Hall.

He has appointed King Jing Ling to manage all the official matters temporary.

Kang didn't attend the assembly?

Consort Li,

King Peng Cheng was sleeping in Fang Yin Pavilion last night.

Do you know

why he didn't attend the assembly in Zhijian Hall?

I don't know.

His Highness went to Cheng Xiu Pavillion early in the morning.

We as women

shouldn't care about

anything in the imperial court.

Kang must have his own arrangements.

Xuan will

settle everything properly too.

The palace has sent some jewelleries a few days ago.

Chun Fang.

Yes.

Bring it over.

Yes.

King Jing Ling.

King Peng Cheng has issued

such an important new policy.

Why didn't he come to Zhijian Hall

and commanded Your Highness to announce the decree?

It doesn't seem right.

Your Highness,

can you tell us

where is King Peng Cheng now?

Is there anything happened to him?

Chief Secretariat,

you're thinking too much.

King Peng Cheng is fine.

Since he is fine,

why didn't he come over?

We still have doubts

about his new policy.

It's better to have King Peng Cheng

to explain by himself

to avoid everyone feeling worried.

Chief Secretariat,

I'm just executing under the King's order.

All of you just have to listen to the order.

Later,

King Peng Cheng will definitely

give everyone an explanation.

Fang Qing,

the important strategies of the new policy

that King Peng Cheng asked you to prepare,

what is the status now?

Wait a minute.

What important strategies of the new policy?

How come it was

not checked by the Legislative Drafting Ministry?

What is

Shi Lin Tang?

The important strategies of the new policy

was requested by King Peng Cheng.

Vice Minister Fang,

you don't know the rules

in the imperial court, right?

You have no right to talk here.

If you want to be an official in the imperial court,

you should learn

the imperial court's manners first.

King Peng Cheng has his own reason

to make such arrangements.

All of you don't want to discuss official matters

and have endless speculation.

Are you trying to rebel?

Please invite King Peng Cheng

to explain everything.

If these bunch of students

can draft decrees and laws,

then the Legislative Drafting Ministry will be useless.

Please invite King Peng Cheng to Zhijiang Hall for this discussion.

Everyone,

there must be something that King Peng Cheng is doing now.

His Highness will definitely give an explanation later.

King Jing Ling is just executing tasks according to order.

We shouldn't put him in a difficult situation.

General Shen,

you forgot

the rules of generals

are not allowed to discuss about administration matters too?

Or it is because of King Peng Cheng has appointed

your daughter as consort yesterday,

your status has elevated now,

and you have forgotten everything?

King Peng Cheng didn't attend the assembly

because of Consort Li.

Since Your Highness couldn't

give us a reasonable explanation,

please understand us.

We are just worried about King Peng Cheng.

We want to make sure King Peng Cheng

is safe and sound.

Today,

we need to make sure that King Peng Cheng

is safe and sound.

If everyone don't want to leave yet,

then please stand here and wait for the news.

Hold on.

King Jing Ling,

you have been blocking us.

Are you trying to hide something from us?

Or you have bewitched by someone

and issued a fake imperial decree?

Lu Yuan.

King Peng Cheng is the Supervisor of Politics.

He has been very diligent.

But, he is absent

to issue such an important policy.

I really don't understand.

Your Highness.

Inform Shen Zhi immediately

to bring people to Cheng Xiu Pavillion.

We have to stop them no matter how.

Any news from Consort Li?

Not yet.

Go now.
