Your Highness.

Fourth Brother.

Don't have to be over-courteous. Carry on.

Everything has been arranged?

Don't worry, Fourth Brother.

Food and accommodation of the students

have been arranged.

On normal days,

we'll write outlines of new policy here

It won't have

any danger again.

Originally, these poor scholars

don't even qualified to take

Ranking Assessment.

Now,

they can have discussion in reading-room of

King Peng Cheng's mansion.

All the scholars are shocked

and inspired.

Currently,

ranking is given

based on bloodline.

When families of aristocratic reach 20 years old,

they can get official position without assessment.

If we don't change the system,

Dynasty Song will be hopeless.

You're wise.

However,

those gentries

will not give up just like that.

They will definitely fight back.

Since we've done it,

I won't be afraid.

It's better to take a step forward than backward.

Instead of killing people,

this can better prove our determination.

I want to implement the new policy

and uproot

those worthless people.

To show it to the gentry.

Fourth Brother is far-sighted.

Xuan.

Don't blame me for nagging you.

Regarding the matter of choosing a concubine...

Royal Mother.

Please.

The Song of Glory

Don't need to be hurry

about my marriage.

Postpone it first.

Episode 19

Alright.

I'll listen to you.

You're very busy recently?

It's just some small matters.

Not worth mentioning.

Recently, Fourth Brother

often asked me to go to Cheng Xiu Pavillion.

He discussed about poetry and literature with me.

You brothers

are so close.

I'm happy for you.

Recently in the residence,

it's quite noisy.

A bunch of people debate with each other.

It's lively

but it's a bit annoying for me.

How long will they stay in the mansion?

You're talking about those scholars?

They were invited by Fourth Brother

to pretend

and exchange opinions.

They're nobody.

Really?

I almost forgot.

I have something to do.

I need to leave now.

Your Highness.

His Highness

is more cheerful now.

But towards me,

he starts to have secrets.

Ciyou House

Nanny Song.

You're here again.

Long time no see.

Nanny Song.

The weather has turned cold.

All these

are for the children to use during winter.

These herbs are for you.

You looked pale last time.

So I take some herbs for you.

Thank you.

The children often talk about you.

They miss you.

Where are they?

Then, this girl

keep looking.

She walked in the mountains and rivers.

She keeps walking.

She found her scholar at last.

It's interesting.

Perform another one!

You're amazing, perform another one.

Brother Xun!

I miss you so much.

I miss you too.

What did you

bring for us this time?

It's with Nanny Song.

Take it from her.

Come, time to give the gifts.

Go.

Slowly.

Get the gifts!

Take this one.

Give it to me.

Give it to me.

Miss.

It's you.

Doctor.

You're here too?

Are you better now?

Yes, thanks for your concern.

You haven't recovered.

Don't overwork your body.

I'm just playing with the children.

It's not tiring.

Careful.

You're dexterous.

No wonder they will like you.

They are orphans.

If I able to help them in some way,

I'll feel happy too.

If compare to you,

the things I do

are nothing.

You're too humble.

It's just

the things that we can do.

You two knew each other?

Such a coincidence.

We're making dumplings today.

Stay

and eat with the children.

-Brother Xun. -Sister Waner.

Stay and make dumplings

together with us.

It has been a long time

since we eat together.

Brother.

What is that?

The fillings are exposed.

Brother Xun.

Let me do it.

Thank you.

Would you mind

that I call you

Brother Xun like them?

No.

Just call me Waner.

Alright, Miss Waner.

Let me help you.

It's not easy to get this ointment.

Don't let

princess consort down.

Thank you.

I'll definitely won't

let her down.

Hong Dan.

Send Yu Yan off.

Yes.

Take care of your eyes, princess consort.

Have you send the ointment?

Don't worry, I've sent it there.

You're having a fever.

It's alright.

I'll go invite physician.

Han Ling Pavilion is just a courtyard of the king's mansion.

We can't go to the pharmacy directly to invite physician.

We must inform princess consort.

Go and inform her now!

It's late now.

How can I disturb her?

We just wait?

If anything happens to her,

King Peng Cheng won't forgive you!

Xiao Xin.

Lady.

Why are you sick

after applying the Yufu Cream?

I'm fine.

Sister Qiu Qin.

Our lady

is sick now.

If anything happens to her,

all of us will be punished.

Alright, I'll inform Jiao Hua Pavilion.

Xiao Xin and I

will remember your help.

Lady, lay down first.

What's wrong?

After Miss Shen used the Yufu Cream,

it seems like...

That cream is dangerous.

Physician Sun has said it.

She will have to suffer a bit.

But based on what I saw,

Miss Shen really looks

very sick.

It doesn't seem like symptoms of effective medicine.

Please ask princess consort...

Old skin rot and new skin grow.

It's not an easy task.

Physician Sun has warned us.

Why are you so panic?

Is it possible that

you suspect princess consort want to harm her?

I don't dare to suspect her.

These days,

she's working hard to handle

the matter of concubine selection.

She just went to rest.

What's the big deal

to trouble her at this time?

That Miss Shen

is not officially married to the king.

Even if her scars are cured,

she's just a concubine.

Which is more important?

You consider it yourself.

I understood.

Thank you for teaching me.

I didn't say anything.

I'll leave now.

Why is she getting hotter?

Is she alright?

Why is Qiu Qin not yet back?

This can't be.

I'll go invite the royal physician.

Xiao Xin.

Don't go.

Without princess consort's order,

they will not come.

What should we do?

I'll go to Jiao Hua Pavillion.

You take care of Lady Shen.

Jiao Hua Pavilion

Go back.

Princess consort is asleep.

Nobody can disturb her.

Sister Yu Yan.

Please inform her.

Miss Shen is really...

Alright, I know.

I'll inform her later.

But if we wait any longer,

I'm afraid it will be too late.

Sister Yu Yan, I beg you.

Please save Miss Shen.

Please, Sister Yu Yan.

Please inform princess consort.

Sister Yu Yan.

Fool.

This is princess consort's medicine.

She needs to drink it when she wakes up.

But I

didn't touch you.

How dare you to quibble.

I'm sorry.

I'm too anxious.

Sister Yu Yan.

If you don't save her,

Miss Shen's life

will be in danger.

Please help us, Sister Yu Yan.

What's happening out there?

Princess consort.

Princess consort, nothing is wrong.

It's just

a servant

spilled a medicine.

The Yufu Cream sent by Jiao Hua Pavillion

will surely cure your scar.

Wait.

Your dress is opened.

Sister, your scar...

No wonder everyone in king's mansion

knew about my scar.

Shen Le Qing.

Is anyone inside?

Is anyone inside?

Open the door, is anyone inside?

Open the door!

Who is it?

I want to see Physician Sun.

Miss Shen is dying!

No, there are rules in king's mansion.

You're just a servant from the courtyard.

Why are you here?

I don't care.

If I don't see Physician Sun today,

I won't leave!

It's late, don't be noisy.

I...

You.

Listen.

You're not sick.

You won't see Physician Sun.

I...

Can I

see Physician Sun now?

I simply talk only.

If anything happens to you,

I can't bear the responsibility.

What's wrong?

Who allowed you to talk nonsense?

Physician.

Please...

save my lady.

Who are you?

I'm the servant at Han Ling Pavilion.

Please, physician.

Han Ling Pavilion?

Go back.

Physician!

Save my lady.

Physician.

Please.

Physician.

Xiao Xin.

Xiao Xin, how are you?

Are you alright?

Please, physician.

Go and beg physician.

Beg the physician...

Sister Yu Yan.

Please

save our lady.

Originally king's mansion is a quiet place.

Since Shen Li Ge came,

great commotion happened.

Don't be angry.

Do you still remember

what I said last time?

Chief Secretariat asked me to come

to help princess consort.

What did you do?

I just increase the quantity

of one of the ingredients

in the Yufu Cream.

You...

Don't worry.

I did this alone.

It has nothing to do with you and princess consort.

If you're found out,

it's a death sentence.

Don't worry.

I did it alone.

I won't involve you.

It's just one of the ingredients.

It really can...

If nobody cares about her tonight,

she won't be far from death.

Alright, stop hitting her.

It's not easy to explain if she's dead.

Yes.

Save Lady Shen.

Shen Li Ge.

Your Highness.

Why are you not back?

Why is he not here?

Swearing to the Jin River, saying goodbye to my love

Swearing to the Jin River, saying goodbye to my love

You asked me to forget about you.

But I can't do it.

I kept thinking about you.

Can you...

see my heart?

Swearing to the Jin River, saying goodbye to my love

Miss Shen.

Are you alright?

Xiao Xin.

Xiao Xin.

Xiao Xin.

Don't blame me.

I'm helpless.

Xiao Xin.

Xiao Xin.

Lady Shen!

Lady Shen!

Lady Shen.

Lady Shen.

Xiao Xin!

Xiao Xin!

What happened?

I found the medicine.

Quick.

Lady Shen.

Take the medicine.

Take the medicine.

You'll be alright.

Lady Shen.

You'll be alright after taking the medicine.

Hurry!

Take it.

Xiao Xin.

Xiao Xin.

I'm sorry.

I...

Lady Shen.

I found the medicine.

Take it...

You'll be alright after taking the medicine.

Fool.

Lady Shen.

Take the medicine.

Hong Dan.

Why are you hurt so badly?

Are you alright?

Take the medicine.

Lady Shen.

Hong Dan.

-Miss Shen. -Lady Shen.

You've recovered.

What happened?

What happened to you?

What happened?

Why are you hurt badly?

Who did it?

Miss Shen.

What have Hong Dan do wrong?

Why do you hit her?

Hong Dan intrude into Jiao Hua Pavillion

and make noise.

She even spilled princess consort's medicine.

She's punished according to the mansion's rules.

If you want to condemn someone,

don't worry about the pretext.

The mansion

have its own rules.

Based on your current condition,

it's better to take care of yourself first.

Yufu Cream

do contain some poison.

The process is naturally suffering.

If you don't have scars,

you won't have to suffer.

I slapped you on behalf of princess consort.

You keep saying

about mansion's rules.

But you dare to be rude to me.

You...

This is Han Ling Pavillion.

You aren't allowed to behave atrociously.

Leave now!

Help Hong Dan go in first.

Lady Shen.

Listen to me. Go in now.

Yes.

Don't blame me for speak out, Miss Shen.

Although Yu Yan is just a servant,

she's princess consort's people.

If we fight with them,

it'll be us who suffer.

When it's dawn,

I'll go invite physician.

No need.

I can endure it.

You go in first.

Shen Le Qing.

I guess...

everything should have a conclusion now.

Everyone, out!

Shen Le Qing!

Sister Yu Yan.

What's wrong?

Let me see.

Who dare to slap you?

I'll help you apply ointment.

Come, apply some ointment.

Come.

Easy.

Stop!

I'm so mad!

That Miss Shen

slapped me because of a servant.

I can't endure it.

She's just a commoner.

It's already too much for her to stay in king's mansion.

How dare she be so arrogant.

If she really become the concubine,

it'll be even worse!

It's all your fault.

Because you're not cruel enough.

If so...

I'll add more Jianxueku

in her Yufu Cream.

I'll see

how long can she endure it.

You made the decision yourself.

It has nothing to do with me.

Sister Yu Yan.

Don't worry.

I have a gift for you.

You two fools.

Who asked you to do this?

Lady Shen.

We're just worried about you.

Come.

Drink some medicine.

I'll drink it myself.

Endure it.

I'll apply some ointment for you.

This is effective.

Endure it.

Lady Shen.

I'm useless.

I fail to see princess consort

and unable to help you.

You're still sick.

I'll go invite physician.

Don't move.

Listen here.

Without my order,

don't act harshly.

But...

Don't worry.

They can't harm me.

Furthermore,

I won't die.

The most important thing right now

is for you two to recover.

Come.

Lay down.

Listen to me.

Slowly.

Careful on your shoulder.

Be obedient.

Sleep.

Lady Shen.

Be obedient.

Sleep.

Any movement lately?

Everything's normal.

Really?

There's nothing suspicious?

None found yet.

Keep watching.

Yes.

Sister.

Don't you usually like painting?

Look at this box of ink.

I purposely ask people

to bring it back from Wanling.

You like to paint.

If you

don't have a good ink,

it can't be.

Come and take a look.

Stop drinking tea.

Yun Zhi's painting

is really lifelike.

I heard that

you and King Peng Cheng

are more close now.

It seems like you

do listen to me.

Yu Yan, throw away the painting.

Yes.

Take the painting away.

What are you doing?

The people you sent to serve me

really did her best.

It's for your own good.

I'm really tired of you

doing things for me.

Today,

you can be kind to me

for your own benefit.

If one day,

I become your obstacle,

will you

abandon me

without thinking?

How can you

say that to me?

Everything that I did

is for Xie Family.

Xie Family?

What a grand speech.

In your heart,

except your benefits

and power,

there's nothing else.

A good painting is not about expensive ink

but the heart of the painter.

Your ink

will overshadow my paintings.

Take it away.

Why

is your calligraphy so hideous?

You didn't teach me.

I'll teach you.

You teach me now

and I'll teach our children in the future.

You haven't propose to me.

Xuan Er.

No letter from Shen Zhi

in these few days?

Yes.

It's late.

You should rest.

Do you think

it was hidden by my father?

Certainly not.

I have

asked everyone.

Shen Zhi.

Coward.

I'll sleep.

I'll settle the score with him tomorrow.

Young lady.

Master don't allow you to go out.

Don't allow me to go out?

I'll still go out.

Young lady.

Apply Red Jewel Box before sleep.

Although you're going to settle the score with him,

you still need to look pretty, right?

You're smart.

Young lady

needs to be extreme pretty

and make Mr. Shen keep thinking of you.

That's right.

Young lady, come eat porridge.

Young lady.

You want to disguise as a man to go out?

Of course.

This...

What should you do

if master found out?

You

wear my clothes and lay on the bed.

Don't go out no matter who call me.

Heard it?

Young lady!

Be obedient.

You go clean over there.

Yes.

Put the things in the guest room.

Yes.

Miss Wang, you...

I want to see Shen Zhi!

He's reading.

It's not convenient for visits.

Miss Wang!

My master don't allow...

Zijin.

Uncle Zheng, go out first.

You two talk nicely.

Talk nicely.

Zijin, you...

Why are you so weak?

Why did you give up so easily?

Where have you been in these two days?

You've forgotten

all your promises?

-Zijin. -Run?

You still run?

How dare you run!

How dare you run!

You gave up because my father rejected your marriage proposal?

I don't see you nor your letter.

You have forgotten

all your promises?

Why don't you run now?

Zijin.

I didn't forget it.

I've promised

to marry you.

What if my father

keeps opposing us?

I'll keep begging

until he agrees.

I, Shen Zhi,

will only marry a woman in this life.

Her name is

Wang Zijin.

Does it hurt?

No.

You two

stop being unhappy.

If I see

you two are doing good

and back to being healthy,

I'll be very happy.

Apply the ointment.

Lady Shen, you...

Go.

Lady Shen.

That Yufu Cream

made you suffer.

You still want to use it?

Yes.

Drink some water.

Hurry.

Are you alright?

Lady Shen!

Lady Shen.

Lady Shen, are you alright?

Hurry, apply the ointment.

Alright. Hurry.

Endure it.

Endure it.

You see it clearly?

Young lady.

I've seen it clearly.

She can't even drink the water

but she still use the ointment.

I'll see

how strong are you.

Continue to give her ointment.

Yes.

Brother, we should leave now.

Who is that?

Sister Zijin?

Why are you wearing this?

Eat a plum.

It's sweet.

What's wrong?

Uncle hasn't agreed?

Don't be like this.

You're just rejected by uncle.

This is nothing.

If worst come to worst...

If worse come to worst, both of you

just made it a foregone conclusion.

-Nonsense! -Nonsense!

See?

Both of you

have achieved marital harmony.

What nonsense are you talking about?

Do you know the meaning of

making it a foregone conclusion?

Of course I know.

Just do what I said.

See what will uncle do.

You...

Shut up.

Alright, I'll shut up.

Brother.

You're happy for seeing Sister Zijin.

Did you forget

about our big event today?

I didn't forget it.

Do you want to

follow us?

Alright.

I'll go pack things.

Why do you want to pack things?

For you two to elope.

You're talking nonsense again!

That's his personality.

Don't take it to heart.

You're blushing.

You're prettier now.

It's really you.

What's wrong?

Physician Sun.

Jianxueku?

Father.

Feng.

It's late.

Send Zijin home first.

General, just now, we...

Zijin.

Let Feng send you back first.

Let's go, Sister Zijin.

I'll send you back.

Shen's Mansion

Don't get too close with Zijin from now on.

Father.

I can't forget her.

I'll only marry her in my life.

Regarding Uncle Wang,

I believe

one day he'll agree.

Zhi.

It is

not that easy as you think.

I'll wait no matter what.

I'll fight for it.

In this life,

I won't let Zijin down.

Princess consort.

Miss Shen wants to see you.

Let her in.

Yes.

Please give me justice.

Why do you say so?

Since I

use Yufu Cream to cure my scar,

my chest pain

and keep having high fever.

At first, I thought the effect of medicine differs from person to person.

But I didn’t expect it to get worse.

At the beginning,

I think that since Yufu Cream

is made by physician in king's mansion,

it shouldn't have any problem.

I didn't expect

when I went to the pharmacy today,

someone add something

to my Yufu Cream.

You'll know if you ask the physician.

What happened actually?

Princess consort.

When Miss Shen went to the pharmacy,

she happened

to see

this servant

adding Jianxueku

into the Yufu Cream.

She's caught red-handed.

Jianxueku?

Jianxueku

is one of the ingredients in Yufu Cream.

If used properly,

it can remove the scar.

But if overdose,

she will become dazed.

If serious, it's life-threatening.

This dosage

has far exceeded the dosage in prescription.

So vicious.

Get back to work first.

Princess consort.

This person is malicious.

Please

investigate this.

Whose servant are you?

Who are you working for?

Not talking?

Alright.

Yu Yan.

Interrogate her yourself.

If nothing is said,

hand it over to Ministry of Justice.

Yes.

Take her away.

Take her away.

Yes.

Don't worry, sister.

I'll definitely investigate this matter

and give you a justice.

As for your scar,

I'll ask physician

to cure you.

Thank you, princess consort.
