"Project Runway All Stars."

- You all look incredible.

- I can't wait to see what ideas - I can steal from you.

you'll be crafting with shoes.

to transform a pair of shoes

into something that

will jump off your feet.

And keep your eyes open

for our mascot,

the prized panda.

Don't forget about

- My plan for designing

the sneaker

- is on each part - of the shoe

- It's gonna be a different color - of the rainbow.

Red paint, orange paint,

yellow paint, green paint,

- blue paint, - and purple paint.

And then I'm gonna draw

little crowns on it

'cause I'm a princess.

- My gosh!

The cart's stuck!

Since I am

a world champion golfer,

I'm super competitive.

Like, I have to win.

So, I think if I do

what I do best,

I'll be on top.

My gosh!

- For this challenge, - I'm thinking of adding

A lot of neon colors,

because I wanna show

my bright personality,

and definitely jewels

of all kinds.

Also glitter paper

for my wing.

Like angels, you know?

So, where's the tape?

- Did you guys find - the bear yet?

- I couldn't find the panda!

- I need that panda.

- I've always wanted - an airbrush kit.

- I've always wanted to just go, - shhh!

- This challenge is literally

right up my alley.

Sneaker customizing

is like what I do.

I need to find that panda.

I'm gonna make some kind

of drip design

and incorporate

the hot glue

onto the ends of the drips

to accent them.

I'm trying making it

as clean as possible.

And I'm probably gonna do,

like, a purple or blue fade.

- And I'm probably gonna - just gonna, like, use, like,

A hot glue gun to, like,

make it pop.

I'm really known as kind of

like a sneaker customizer.

I paint on shoes,

and I draw on them.

This is my challenge to lose.

- Are you doing a drip - on yours?

If you're too nervous

to dive right in

and craft on

your brand-new sneakers,

of blowing the ink,

but then I'm also getting

really dizzy.

I'm making a rainbow shoe.

It's time to make

these sneakers craftified!

- Since I'm hand-painting - the sneakers

It's gonna take me, like,

20 minutes to do both shoes!

paint, paint, paint...

There's a lot I gotta do.

- Our first 15 down

and 45 minutes remaining.

- I'm really pumped - about this challenge.

It's kind of new to me to,

- like, do it under - a time constraint.

Not just at home having,

like, all day to do it.

- I go with the paint - and paint pens

Because that's what I know,

and what I'm used to.

But I've only done one side

- and everything else - is still white.

- What's up, Ethan? - Hi.

- My goodness.

- It looks so good; I like that - you sketch it up beforehand too

- And just going with - some coloring.

- Yeah. - It looks bomb.

- I'm gonna, like, accent it - with, like, hot glue.

So it looks like it's actually,

like, popping out.

- Cool!

- Ooh, we haven't seen - that technique yet.

this abstractness.

- Since you're kind of - dripping it on

And letting it spread,

- my only issue is that pink - and green,

- When they mix, - kind of make a murky brown.

- Yeah.

- Which I don't know if that - maybe was the best choice.

It's seeping through!

I'm just splattering paint,

- and I don't know where - it's going.

And now the first dye

isn't drying quick enough.

So, the second dye

is kind of mixing.

I'm freaking out over here!

It just, like, blended,

and it made this, like,

brownish color.

That's not good.

And now I'm getting dizzy.

- All right, craft-testants,

you've got 19 minutes

on the clock!

- Gosh.

- Okay, I think I'm kind

starting to panic.

- Yeah, I'm starting to panic.

- Yup, panicking. - Panicking.

It may not sound like it,

but I mostly definitely am.

The paint won't dry,

- so I have to plug in - the blow-dryer

And just start blowing it

on high

so that when I draw on it,

- the paint doesn't - smear everywhere!

So come on, paint!

Dry, dry, dry!

- Something unique - that JoJo is doing

That no one else has done

- is that she swapped out - the laces for something else.

- She used the plastic string - in pink and green

- To tie in with her - color palette,

And I think it's unique.

- Loving it.

- It's time to make

these sneakers shine!

These jewels are, like,

just all over the place.

There's, like, some hearts

and squares and everything.

I like to put in a lot

of sparkles,

glitz and glamor and bling.

I still need to glue on

all this stuff,

make sure the shoelaces

actually work,

and put on some silver wings.

- Now I'm just doing - the hot glue drips.

The hot glue,

- I'm worried it might, - like, spill over

And ruin my design,

- so I'm trying to be - as careful as I can.

- Even though - it's kind of a risk,

It's a risk I'm willing to take

'cause it's "Craftopia."

Go big or go home.

- And I'm not trying - to go home right now.

we're in our final

seven minutes of crafting.

- No!

These sneakers look amazing!

- I seriously wish - they were all in my size

- Mine are the Drippy Low

High Tops.

And I used glue drips

to really make the drips pop.

I kind of tried to, like,

incorporate that

street art feel to the shoes.

- James.

- I think the smart application

of the drips,

it could have a little bit more

three-dimensionality to it,

- but it definitely has that - street art vibe

- That I think showcases - your personality.

- Thank you.

- And Khloe, walk us though

your rainbow sneakers.

- So, these shoes are called

the Rainbow Princess.

I feel like I'm a princess,

and I'm a rainbow princess

'cause I love rainbows.

Each part of the shoe

- is a different color - of the rainbow,

And then as well

as I added crystals to it.

And then on this bottom part,

I put blue glitter on there

to add a little more pizzazz.

- Well, Khloe, I think that

you did an incredible job.

Trying to cover the whole

entire shoe is amazing.

- And I like that you - put elements

Of your personality

from the crown to the glitter.

- All the things that - are staring at you,

- I can see reflected - in your presence.

I wish I could've seen more

of the glitter finish around

the edges of your shoe,

- just so I could see - your complete vision realized.

- These shoes are called

JoJo's Angels.

They have silver wings.

I used acrylic ink to put

an abstract feel into it.

And the jewels

around the shoes,

- I think when you walk - around in them...

- Like you know how - the sunlight hits?

I think it'll be, like,

this glow.

You definitely caught my eye

with those super bright colors.

However, with your paint,

those vivid colors kind of mesh

together a little bit.

So, we lost some of that

really, really bright color.

This dress is actually made

from recycled plastic.

In celebration of this trend,

we're giving you two hours

to create a high fashion look

from craft store materials.

Are you guys excited for this?

I'm gonna get changed.

- I'm getting this great fabric

for my accordion pants.

- Accordion?

- I'm gonna make, like, - pleats or something.

I'm pretty drawn to samurais.

They're really cool.

So, I'm making a samurai suit.

- I'm gonna add accordion pleat - to the pants.

And I'm using Styrofoam

as the base to my armor,

but I'm gonna cover it

in fabric.

- I'm just gonna grab all

these Sharpies.

I'm gonna make a red flower

poster paper dress,

and it's gonna be

a sandwich costume-style.

The reason I'm using poster

paper is because I need

the flower shapes to stay up

and not fall down

like fabric would.

- I'm back!

- Whoa, hey, entrance.

- We got our crafty outfit

back on.

- The paper is thicker - than I expected.

My God!

Why is this so hard to cut?

JoJo has nothing.

- She making it from scratch. - Okay.

- JoJo is my new she-ro.

- It could be insane.

- For not having any base pieces, - but it has to work.

- I have a little tingle - on the inside

- Okay, so I need to make

the pleats now.

- I kind of learned this - from my grandma

'cause I used to do origami

with her when I was little.

I love origami,

- so I was gonna do this - with fabric.

- Do you guys see - what Ethan's doing?

- I've seen this kind - of pleating

In paper lanterns before,

but I've never seen anyone

apply it to clothing.

- That's, like, top notch.

I still need to make

my accordions, or the pleats,

stick to my pants.

I mean,

- Right now, I am trying

to create a three-dimensional

flower kind of look

with poster paper.

I'm kind of intimidated

but I'm using Styrofoam

as the base to my armor.

I hate that.

- I have, like, so much - Styrofoam everywhere,

It's literally like snow.

- I bet. - Like...

- Eww! - I got Styrofoam in my hair.

- Stop!

I need to focus.

I think this is perfect.

It kind of looks like

a butterfly now.

I've decided to change

my red flower dress

into a flower butterfly.

I love that.

Like, a flutterfly.

I'm using tulle right now

because I don't want it

to be a solid red thing,

- but I need something - that's flowy,

And it makes me feel

more like a butterfly

on the back.

- I'm hoping that

this turns out right.

- I want it to look so good - so bad.

the fusible fabric accordion

the shirt perfectly.

Every piece of fabric has

to match up on the Styrofoam.

for fashion crafting

- is when you're cutting - through fabric,

You typically need

really sharp scissors.

- And an easy way to sharpen - your scissors

Is cutting through sandpaper.

Okay.

- The Styrofoam - will be covered up

So it doesn't look cheap-y.

- I don't know how I feel

about the chest plate,

but I do love the pants.

- Okay, so it's looking

a little messy.

- It's basically a wearable,

three-dimensional

paper doll design.

- Okay, so Ethan, start us off - with a presentation

Of your outfit.

- I have, like,

a samurai suit tuxedo on,

like, on the top.

And I used Styrofoam

for the base,

and then I covered it over

with fabric.

For the accordion,

I did the origami technique.

- Honestly, Ethan,

this screams Kanye to me.

- Like it's so cool and on trend. - Yeah.

- I think you've shown

some amazing skills

with that pleating method.

I was like, "Wow,"

the whole time.

But the Styrofoam...

- Well, to be so young

and to choose gray

is just so sophisticated,

right?

- Good job on the color palette - for sure.

- The thing that I want you

- to improve upon is - the finishes.

If you don't work on

your finishes,

they can serve as a distraction

from your overall goal.

- JoJo,

walk us through your look.

- It is a flower blossoming.

When I see the color red,

it just reminds me of boldness.

And on the back,

it is a shape of a butterfly

because flowers and butterflies

go along together.

I think the tulles add more

of an effect of the butterfly.

I used these black

Sharpie lines to emphasize

the petals of the flower

and give it more depth.

- I am obsessed at the fact

that you took paper,

- which is normally rigid - and just so hard,

And you made it into this soft,

feminine, and flowery dress.

- So that was really well done. - Thank you.

- I wish the lines that you

made were a little bit cleaner.

- I love the...

It's ethereal with the tulle.

That is amazing.

- Thank you.

- But I wish you would've

started with a foundation.

It would've made

completing your garment

just a little bit easier.

- And you both did - phenomenal jobs.
