Episode 22

Now the situation is not only related to

the family affairs of Jiao Yang,

but also the equity change of Hong Yu.

I hope everyone could understand it's related to our equity interest

and we're all in the same boat.

Let me introduce our new partner

and also one of our shareholders,

Su Cheng Jun.

Su, have a seat.

Su Cheng Jun, even if you're a shareholder of the company,

you are not eligible to sit in the position of chairman.

There is only one empty seat here,

are you asking the directors here to give me a seat?

Or perhaps President Jiao

would like to give me his seat?

It's just a matter of a seat,

no need to argue.

Beyond Home and Infinite Home

sounds similar.

I doubt it.

What is Infinite Home?

Is this name on the market?

Instead, I suppose that Beyond Home

will be the first long-term serviced apartment in the city.

Directors, if you are interested,

please come to my office to further

discuss the plan of Beyond Home.

He's way too arrogant.

Are they thinking we are too weak to beat them?

Can't help scolding him.

Spit it.

It really ticks me off.

Don't worry, President Jiao,

Though they completed the model house,

we're almost there as well,

and our decoration materials are fancier.

What does that mean?

We will always support you.

-Yes. -Support.

Do you think I'm afraid?

I don't think we will lose

as long as you guys are with me.

Go go go!

That's it, It's not going to be easy, keep going.

Assistant Lin, let's go sign the commencement of work approval.

Assistant Lin.

Assistant Lin.

Assistant Lin, what's wrong with you?

President Jiao asked you to sign

the commencement approval.

We keep calling your name but you didn't respond.

Let's go.

They look good together.

They fight together like a movie setting.

Love them.

What's wrong with you?

Nothing, probably haven't had enough rest.

You should give yourself a break.

Get some rest.

Health is more important than work.

How do I tell you that

the three-month deadline is approaching

and my condition is getting worse.

Come in.

Uncle Zhao.

Chairman Zhao.

Jiao Yang, how are things going?

The press release of the PR Department has not yet been decided,

but I'll get it settled as soon as possible

At present, in addition to dealing with the news from the outside world,

what's more important is

how to gain a firm foothold in the company

when the situation is not favorable to your family.

Now that Su Cheng Jun has teamed up with Chairman Cao,

you also have to promote the Infinite Home Project

as soon as possible.

I got this, Uncle Zhao.

Don't worry,

I will definitely let the board and the outside world know that

Infinite Home is the industry leader.

Alright, Jiao Yang.

Keep ongoing.

I'll go first.

Slowly.

Goodbye, Chairman Zhao.

Why can't you sign it?

President Jiao, don't put me in this awkward predicament.

The board thinks too much investment is needed

for Infinite Home Project,

so they don't approve it.

With no investment,

how dare our engineering department sign?

We've been preparing for this for so long,

it would help if you could bend the rules.

President Jiao,

the current situation has forced me to do so.

But I can tell you secretly

for your kindness to me.

Beyond Home have got the approval.

Looks like Chairman Cao and Su Cheng Jun

are going to fight us to the end.

Su,

you have lived up to your mother's expectations,

and you didn't let me down.

Not as good as you, Chairman.

You've been hiding it all for so many years.

Now everyone in Hong Yu thinks that

it is Chairman Cao who has allied with me,

but no one knows that

it is you behind the scheme.

What's this?

Shrimp fried rice.

My mom used to cook for me when I was a kid.

It might not look good,

I've only learned about 50 percent similar to my moms.

But the key is that

when you're in a bad mood,

a diet rich in carbohydrates

will make you'll feel better.

Thanks.

Thank you for being here with me.

I'm the one who should say thank you.

Thank you, President Jiao

for giving me a chance to cook for you.

Try it now.

Did I forget to put salt?

Why is it so bland?

I've just put the soy sauce.

I'm sorry about that.

Give it to me.

I shall make it better.

-Wait a minute. -Don't...

A minute.

Don't...

Lin Miao, that's enough.

That's salty enough,

stop adding salt,

you would be bald after this.

I'm really sorry,

I hadn't done this for a long time.

Lin Miao, stop it.

Lin Miao.

Lin Miao.

You're awake.

Have some honey water.

How does it taste?

Good.

I'll go get changed.

What's wrong with her recently?

Indictment

Plaintiff: Su Cheng Jun, Defendant: Jiao Jun Hong

Lin Wei Jun, keep this indictment first,

the plaintiff will come and take it from you later.

Su Cheng Jun wants to sue Jiao Yang's father.

The will has exposed, Hong Yu Group is in the midst of fights for the company's shares

Rumors of an illegitimate child, Inauguration of the president, Struggle to seize power

They are brothers,

half-brothers.

Thank you.

Thank you for helping me

during this period.

Filing Box

Jun, would you take a paper and a pen for me?

I need to make some notes.

That's not right.

I can't leave you alone

in the reference room.

I can't take the responsibility

for even losing a piece of paper.

Don't you have surveillance here?

I can't run away

if I really did something.

Zhong Lun Law Firm

Su,

when you were in Hong Yu,

I knew that

sooner or later you would have done something big.

How much do you know about the will?

President Jiao.

Where is Lin Miao?

She was just called to a meeting just now.

I'm also wondering

what meetings to hold

if not for our department?

Who called her?

Manager Xiang from the PR department.

I thought I was called for a meeting,

why it's just two of us?

Where are the others?

Today's meeting is only for two of us.

Su Cheng Jun,

I'm busy with my work.

If you want to play such a boring trick,

I suggest that you should find someone else.

Assistant Lin, why bother to leave in a hurry?

Get out of my way.

What are you doing? Let me go.

Let go. Let me go.

Lin Miao, come over here.

Are you okay?

Su Cheng Jun,

do you want to die?

President Jiao, relax.

I just want some

catch-up with Lin

and invite her to join my team.

Assistant Lin is in my team.

I hope you'll have some self-awareness,

while you're in the company.

President Jiao, everyone knows that

the Infinite Home project is not going well,

why do you struggle

to hold on to it

and burden the people around.

If I were you,

I would have given them an amount of money

when I still can afford it,

and ask them to leave.

So as not to lose in the end

and being chased out

like a drowning dog.

Don't speak too soon.

You never know who will be the winner.

Since you're so confident,

then I should do something

for the sake of you.

What does that mean?

Later you will know.

Is there anything?

President Jiao, the PR department

has something to announce.

Ding Ding, Jiang Rou

Ying Jun, and Yan Xin

have started contacting other departments

before the board's approval.

They defy the company's rules and regulations,

and thus they will be dismissed now.

This is their termination contracts.

They did it on purpose.

President Jiao, what should we do?

I shouldn't have bought so many lipsticks.

What should I do with the credit card that I owe?

You can count on me.

President Jiao, that's obviously a false statement.

Don't worry,

I'll handle this.

Jiao Yang.

Jiao Yang.

Jiao Yang, calm down.

Su Cheng Jun, go ahead and target at me,

but don't drag my men into this.

You hate me, hate my family,

but these have nothing to do with them.

Don't you know the saying,

"No eggs can remain unbroken when the nest is overturned"?

Su Cheng Jun,

why did you become like this?

All credits go to

the Jiao's family.

Jiao Yang was born to be a prince,

but I

was a beggar looking for a bowl of leftovers

and have to follow others' wills.

Didn't expect that, huh

one day the beggar would turn the situation around

and become stronger than the prince.

You're finally telling the truth.

You never

treated me like your brother, did you?

That's not true, my dear brother.

I happen to have a big gift for you,

I will formally sue Jiao Jun Hong

for deliberately concealing his will,

and the indictment will be sent to him soon.

I shall see him in court.

Target at me,

don't drag my dad into this.

Su Cheng Jun.

You've copied Jiao Yang's Infinite Home idea,

and now you want to get rid of all his men.

Why are you doing this?

Of course this is for you, Assistant Lin.

No way.

Jiao Yang, I will give you two options now.

First option,

the indictment will be sent to Jiao Jun Hong in a minute

and he must return to China immediately for investigation.

Second option, I can wait until he gets well and returns home,

but Assistant Lin will have to be in charge of

the handover work between Hong Yu and Beyond Home.

No way.

Then you can now bring the wheelchair to the airport

and welcome Chairman Jiao.

I'll see you in court.

President Jiao, we can understand.

I'm sorry, everyone.

President Jiao, don't say that.

Lin Miao, I know that you are a smart person.

Join my team

and I can give you any suite you like

as a gift

for if you joined Beyond Home.

Whatever he gives you,

I can give you as well.

Su Cheng Jun, don't you call my name.

I came to you simply for Jiao Yang.

Tell me, what do we have to do so that you could stop.

Assistant Lin, you should give up on Jiao Yang.

He will no longer be the president.

What does that mean?

I'm not the only one who wants to go against Jiao's family.

Jiao Yang has become the target of all,

he has no way to run.

For you, choosing the right team

is the wise way to go.

Lin Miao, you and Hong Yu,

I'll get both.

Su Cheng Jun, listen,

you are nothing

to me.

Lin Miao.

Lin Miao.

Su Cheng Jun, what have you done to her?

The doctor said she is in poor health

and needed a full physical examination.

Su Cheng Jun, listen.

I won't let you get away easily

if something wrong with her.

Please get out and fight.

We're going to have a comprehensive examination of the patient,

please don't disturb our work.

Did you hear that?

Get off.

Jiao Yang, I have done what I can.

I hope you can return my people

when Lin Miao wakes up.

Hi.

Lin Miao.

It's her again.

She came before?

This patient

had visited our hospital because of having

frequent loss of vision,

hearing and taste problems.

I've asked her to stay

for further checking,

but she discharged immediately.

What is it now? Fainted again?

Can you confirm her problems now?

We have to wait for the patient to wake up

for further examination and diagnosis.

You can go through the hospitalization procedure first.

Having hearing, vision, and taste problems.

What are you doing?

Why do you buy so many things?

The doctor said that

you fainted because of hypoglycemia.

So I've bought some food for you to replenish nutrition.

Right, sometimes I experience low blood sugar

when I was too tired from work.

Let me help you.

It's okay, you can go and rest.

I can do it.

It's alright, go and rest.

Wait there.

Jiao Yang's special dish is worth waiting for.

Go ahead, go.

Go, go get some rest.

Hello?

Oh, Director Su

Something happened to Beyond Home.

What is it?

Director Su.

What's wrong?

Most customers

who've done booking for our apartments

wants to cancel, after they have come

to visit the sample rooms

and complain

about the bad decoration and unpleasant smell

which was inconsistent with online renderings.

They have also taken photos of sample rooms on-site

and posted in the customer reviews,

which have resulted in a large number of order losses.

This matter has been brought to Chairman Xue,

and he wants to see you now.

Director Su, can you explain to me

why would customers want to cancel their booking?

Chairman Xue, I should've strictly controlled the quality

of the sample rooms.

I've informed the decoration team to redecorate,

and it's expected to reopen on next month.

I know you're now

holding five percent share of Hong Yu Group,

so wouldn't care much about Zhong Qing's projects anymore!

If you can't handle it well,

your Beyond Home Project will come to an end,

and you will no longer be able to stay in Zhong Qing.

Su Cheng Jun, how could you break your promise?

I have done what you told me to do,

I have dismissed all the staff of the president's office

and even the villa is yours now.

But Infinite Home is my bottom line.

What do you want me to do?
