It appears to be a shelter of some sort...

perhaps a women's shelter.

I'll run a check for a "pastor Thomas,"

cross referencing "shelters."

"My sweet Joshua has a heart condition

There's one for a Hope Center,

but it closed down about 10 years ago.

So based upon those postmarks,

most likely a closed adoption

due to the circumstances of the case,

which would've been considered abandonment.

in order to prevent the biological mother

trying to reinsert herself
into the child's life.
