Fifth Prince. Fifth Prince

Please stay. Please stay

Fifth Prince

What is this?

To reply the Fifth Prince

This is what the Empress

designed to punish Imperial Concubine Hui

The Dark Palace

Whoever punished

will be locked up in the darkness for life time

Never to see the daylight again

Not allowed to talk to people

After a long time they will become blind first

Then lose voice

Why is it?

She didn't do anything wrong

Princess Hui told Emperor the truth

that proved your innocence

Then she got locked in this Dark Palace

I'm afraid in future

The only chance she can see the light

will be at that food delivery window

when picking up the meals

It was actually my fault

She should not be punished

I'm going inside

Fifth Prince

Fifth Prince

Don't be impulsive

Don't be impulsive!

Empress has said

whoever meets Imperial Concubine Hui,

his/her tongue will be cut off

Then cut

Cut cut cut!

I dare not

I dare not

But

Fifth Prince

The Empress also said

Imperial Concubine Hui will get same punishment as the visitor does

Her tongue will be cut off too

Keep off

Fifth Prince

Even if you don't think for yourself

You have to think about Imperial Concubine Hui

She is kept in the Dark Palace

Without tongue

In future time

Her life will be much tougher

You

Calm down, the Fifth Prince

By doing this,

you're not going to save her

Wait

Fifth Prince

Is this her meal?

Please don't be angry

I'm

I'm just doing my job by the rules

The food in the Palace...

How can it be so poor?

Fifth Prince

Fifth Prince

Li Heng

Twilight smoke

It's just a dream

I went up the tall building alone

Everything in the world is empty

With half a lifetime

I'm in love with you for half a minute

I'm laughing and sighing in the world

From now on, mountains grow high and waters grow long

You are no longer my paradise

Separation is happy

Under the moon, in the dream

You're still the way I first saw you

It is not absurd to waste time

Mother

My son must have suffered a lot

Why are you doing this to her?

Look at you

Look how thin you are now

Mother has got some delicious food for you

Come here!

I don't want to eat

I'm here today

Not for food

I'm here for Zhu Yan

She is Imperial Concubine Hui

Imperial Concubine Hui is a guilty person

She is guilty

What is she guilty of?

Mother, you forgot

who did she do it for?

Mother knows you have her in your heart

If she dies,

you will never recover from it

Your father wanted to put her to death

It was me that begged him for mercy

and kept her alive

My father the Emperor

I'm going to see my father the Emperor

I've to save her

Stop!

You and your harem concubine

Having such absurd things happened

It has already made your Father disgraced

Now you're safe and sound

And she also survived

It's lucky enough

If you go and displease your Father now

It could only kill her

But I can't watch her suffer like this

Heng'er

Zhu Yan has left you a message

Zhu Yan

Zhu Yan wants me to tell you

Don't be recklessly courageous

If so,

it will only make both of you suffer

Both of us

She's always thinking about me

But I can't do anything for her

Heng'er

If you really care about her

You should think carefully

Who was it

That put her into such kind of situation

Give it to me

What are you smelling?

This house is full of your scent

I...

What kind of scent

Fragrant

It’s okay

It won't be long

Until this place has yours too

I don't have any scent

What can you smell

What smell it is

I can't tell

I have to try

It looks like I come at a bad time

But if I don't interrupt you now

I'm afraid I don't have chance to say goodbye

No

Goodbye?

Where are you going?

I still haven't found the Lilac-jade

The cold disease that Gongsun Mo has

is showing signs of relapse these days

So I'm going to find the medicine by myself

That's why you were sharpening sword in the morning

You've got hard work to do

The days I'm away

Can you please

help me look after him

There's still warrant for your arrest out there

You have to be very careful alone

This is for you

Don't worry

Where are you going?

Didn't I write a letter to you

Get on

I'll give you a lift

Lilac-jade

Hasn't the Know-all already been out looking for it?

You

Why are you going too?

You don't want me to leave?

He can't even find it

It's no use for you to go

We go in different directions

So there's better chance to find it

Then

When will you come back?

If I will be back or not

I'm not sure

Aren't you going to look for medicine?

Then

There's no reason not to come back, right

Because once I find it,

we'll no longer owe anything to each other

So coming back or not

It depends on you

On me?

If you want me here,

I will come back

But if you don't,

I will just send Lilac-jade back

You'll see the flower, without seeing me

No way!

I want you back

I'm asking you to be here

For how long?

For

Lifetime

Meeting you is like a book of words

If you look through it, you may be careless

Misty eyes see everything in a blurry

An accidental coincidence in fate

Meeting you is like a book and a brush of a poet

Wait

Wait for me

I'll come back with the Lilac-jade

As my dowry

It's all destined in a lifetime

Dad

Heng'er was set free

Zhu Yan became the scapegoat

Really?

Great!

You see

Heng'er

He is such a lucky boy

Yes

I didn't know that girl of the Zhu's

Still so infatuated with Heng'er

She wanted to be the scapegoat herself

What can I do?

If Zhu Yan will survive or not,

it seems Grandfather doesn't have the final say

Heng'er

Grandfather

Didn't mean that

You know life and death is a major issue

Except the Emperor

Who else would have such opportunity

Sure I don't have it

But

You do

I'm here

To talk about what happened in Yuntuo Mountain Villa

Liu Yuyao is the legitimate daughter from Prime Minister's mansion

But why

She would face her own grandpa with the sword

Heng'er is really confused about it

That's why I'm here and hope Grandfather can resolve my doubts

Since Yuyao is married to the Prince

She is on Prince's side

who's against us

So it is natural

Natural

Then the Stone you mentioned before

Who is that?

That's the elders' plan

You'd better not get involved

I can stay away from other things

But anything about them

I have to know

Don't fob me off with excuses

I've got plenty of ways for you to tell me

You

What sort of attitude is that?

So what?

Been shut in the house once

has made you bold?

Talking to Grandfather like this

Grandfather

You don't believe it?

You

OK

OK

Let me do it for your Mother today

to thoroughly discipline you

Anybody

Yes

Lock him up for me

Yes

Heng'er

Daddy

You

Look at this

Heng'er

What are you doing?

What makes you think you can discipline me?

It's obvious that you want to use me to get more power

You need my support after I become the Emperor

But now you want me to listen to you

If it was before,

I might just listen

And now

I have my own plan

You've got two options at the moment

Either

Kill me

Find someone to replace me

Either

Or tell me everything you know

All of it

Here

What's up

No tea left

You're sleepy

Then

Let's go to bed

Go!

What are you doing with my quilt?

OK, we can use yours

Why do you take yours now?

I can't?

No I didn't mean that

Just

What's wrong?

I didn't expect that

Nongying left so soon

She's only been away for one day

You're already missing her

I miss lot of people

Who else you're missing?

I miss Stone, brother Zhang Meng

People in the mountain villa

But

The one I miss most is my master

Don't know where she is now

Do you think

If I followed Brother Qin at that time

Perhaps

I'd have already seen my mentor now

You

Do you want to find her?

Can I?

Of course

You're the Crown Princess

You can do anything

Great!

I've always wanted to go out and about

But

What if you can't find her?

Then

I'll just be away for a month

If I can't find her, I'll come back

This is too long

Pei State is so big

One month

is short

Since we've been together,

we haven't been apart for that long

As the saying goes

Absence makes the heart grow fonder

If by the time

I find my master,

I'll take you to see her

Alright

I didn't expect that

you've been hiding so much from me

These are all matters of life and death

The less people know, the better

The real identity of Changle

Even your Mother doesn't know

And now it seems

that's a good thing

An imposter

contained Li Che

And now she becomes the weakness of Li Che

that makes the initiative fall in our hands

It's not that simple

Now we want to rely on

A fake Crown Princess

trying to hold their back

It's no longer possible

And also

Shi Hongbo is in their hands now

Although he is poisoned,

once the Prince people find the way

and manage to detoxify him,

we'll be in danger

As what Grandfather said

Isn't there no way

that we can fight against Li Che

Daddy

Daddy

The people we sent to Rong City earlier are back

Anything they've found of Li Che's wrong doings?

No

Then what are you excited about

Daddy

Nothing found about Li Che

But there're something about Gongsun Mo

It says there is a high skilled Doctor Xue in Rong City

The scout found out something from him

About Gongsun Mo's condition

He is not going to live long

According to Doctor Xue

Only a plant of herb called

Lilac-jade

can save his life

But last time when they went to Rong City,

they didn't find this herbal medicine

It seemed to be somewhere on a book

that mentioned this herbal medicine

Have you found out where the Lilac-jade is?

Yes, we have

The guy kept his mouth tightly closed

that we wouldn't get any information

Until the end

when he was threatened to be killed,

he finally said that his junior fellow apprentice

has one there

Where is his junior fellow apprentice?

In Pingle City

Ping

Pingle City?

If we can get that herbal medicine,

and start from Gongsun Mo,

it can yet be regarded as a good way

Li Che treated Heng'er like that before

It's time for us to make it twice as tough for them

Nongying

Come here

Since Qin Feiyu left,

no one can drink together with me

I've been waiting for you for so long

Here

Nongying

Where are you going?

Rong City

I thought about it again

When Doctor Xue destroyed the Lilac-jade,

he looked weird

With such a precious medicine

He wasn't sad at all when destroying it

I don't think he was telling me the truth

So I'm going to Rong City again to meet him

We can split up looking for it

If you find the Lilac-jade first,

just send a message to me

You don't have to go

I asked you here

not only for drinking

What?

You have the whereabouts of Lilac-jade

In Pingle City

There is a high skilled Doctor Song in Pingle City

He is a junior fellow apprentice of Doctor Xue

I heard the Lilac-jade

were given by their master

Each of them has one

Every cloud has a silver lining

Thank you so much, Sir

You don't need to go

I'll send someone to get it back

You don't have to go in person

I have to

This is Gongsun Mo's life

I'll be worried if others go

thanks a lot

Haven't even finished drinking with me

Your Fifth Prince

Please stay, Fifth Prince

The Emperor has ordered

No one allowed to talk to Imperial Concubine Hui

You'd better get out of my way

Otherwise I'll chop your heads off now

Hope Fifth Prince not make it hard on us

We're just taking orders from the Emperor

and we have to fulfill our duties

and follow the imperial edict

without any fail

OK

You don't let me talk to her

OK

Then I talk to you

It's finished

I ask you

Do you have wife and children?

I have a wife

Who is your wife?

She is the neighbor's daughter

Nice

Childhood sweetheart

Then

Do you like her?

I

Like her

For the promise you made her

Have you made it happen?

No I haven't

But I will

OK

I'm a man

I've to keep my words

Did you go to school?

No I didn't

I've got a poem to teach you

Listen

Colorful life with beauties around

Colorful life with beauties around

Autumn harvesting at downstream and beyond

Autumn harvesting at downstream and beyond

Lady with wonderful needlework still in the loft

Waiting for the man she'll dedicate lifetime with love

Remember

I'm waiting for you in a hidden loft

Look forward to growing old with you together

Chasing for loved ones makes people addicted

But you're sitting there alone, worried

Communicate with heart

Remember?

Look like you

Hidden by time

Sadness unsettled but mind getting cold

Time cannot be turned back

It's a poem with hidden initial words

Stay alive

Wait until I come to save you

Who steals all the happiness in the box?

Flower fragrance attracts butterflies

If life bloom in exchange for your heart

aside from soil

It turns into a wisp of incense

...by your side

Changle

You're awake

You scared me

I thought you were gone

I...

If I leave

I'd let you know

What shall I do

You haven't left

I'm already missing you

You'll be away for a month

When you come back

You won't be able to see me

Why?

There's no cure for lovesickness

Then

I'm kidding

It's good for you to take the opportunity to go out and around

I can't keep missing you

You have to miss me too

Okay

Let's go to eat

Put on your shoes?

It's still early in the morning

Aren't you leaving?

All your favorite dishes

Have more

You won't have them outside

Is it because the chefs out there

are not as good as our home ones

Not exactly

We eating together

and eating alone

can't be same right?

Your Highness

What's wrong?

Your Highness

No...no...that's

That's the wrong dish we served

This one

is for that old man

and the servants

How can you eat it?

It looks delicious

By the way

From Liu Sheng's place earlier

rescued from Liu Sheng's place earlier

But since Liu Sheng wanted him,

I'm sure he knows something

Plus Brother Qin diagnosed him by his pulse

It showed signs of poisoning

I'll take him to the clinic tomorrow

Eat

Try this too

You have it

Here

You have it...you have it

OK

You have it

I chopped lot of woods today

Make kids more food when we're home

Sure

Duan Nian'er

Take kids inside now

OK

Go!

General Xiao has good memory

It's been over twenty years

And you still remember my name

Don't call me General, Miss Duan

I...

I'm just

an ordinary farmer now

I'm not sure what does Miss Duan

want from me?

You don't know?

I've been looking for you for more than twenty years

You are so persistent

OK, I admit

At that time, it was me from General Duan

who took Shi Hongbo

from General Duan

And because of this

I lost one arm

But where is Shi Hongbo at the moment

Whether he is alive or not

I...

I have no idea

I don't want to know where Shi Hongbo is

I want to know

Who was behind you that made you to do it

It's been so many years

Now you got married and settled down

and have a son and a daughter

But, I...

All my families are dead

I know you were ordered by someone

And you had to do it

So

I'm giving you a chance

If you tell me,

I'll let you continue living your quiet life

Now I ask you one more time

Who made you do it?

Liu Sheng

The current Prime Minister Liu Sheng

Following me

makes you suffer

I'm willing to run around with you

So what kind of life I'll have

I know it exactly

But...

Please don't say this anymore

Otherwise

You're looking down on me

Heng'er

Heng'er

The clinic is not far ahead

Let's go

Hello

Is this Pingle City?

Yes

How can I get to Pang Yuan's house?

Doctor Pang?

Turn left at the next corner

Thank you

You are welcome

The Lilac-jade is of great use for me

Sorry to offend

This is one thousand taels

as the compensation

But...

You may go

Nongying

It looks like we've met our fellow

I don't know

What do you want Lilac-jade for?

But it's more important for me

We have so many people here

Do you think you have any chance to beat us?

How can we know if we don't try?

It looks like

you have your trump card

Hold on

You must be coming for Gongsun Mo

You too?

Different

You want to save him

But we...

No

Give me the Lilac-jade

Otherwise I'll kill you

The Copper Lotus of Nine-Petals of the Duan's

It is really powerful

Don't be impulsive, Nongying

Give it to me!

Shh!

Do you think this

small Copper Lotus of Nine-Petals

is able to kill all the people here?

Instead of desperate fighting

How about we make a deal?

What deal?

I haven't decided

You go back to the Prime Minister's mansion and wait for it

The Lilac-jade being kept by me

is very safe

Heng'er

What does this mean?

Didn't we plan

to start from Gongsun Mo?

She is much more useful than Gongsun Mo
