- Shit!
- I've been fond of stories and legends
connected to old buildings since my childhood.
I've already shot almost 200 videos
about these places.
And sometimes I share the better ones on the internet.
I like to explore these places, old military buildings,
abandoned asylums, schools, kindergartens, and hotels.
This was our hobby with my wife.
She worked at the local hospital
constantly surrounded by people.
And in our private lives
we never used to be very outgoing.
We preferred getting in the car
and visiting places like these.
We took pictures and talked a lot.
She had whatever she could.
She used to be like this.
Then everything changed in an instant.
Stephanie and our daughter died in the hospital.
I wouldn't make this video if it wasn't
a spine-chilling story that began a few days ago
and had some unsettling twists.
It was two days when I first watched this footage.
I watched it but it wasn't me who shot it.
I have different camcorders
and though I visited many similar places,
this one was not familiar at all
and I had to check it's exact location.
But I haven't yet mentioned
the two most frightening things.
First, I watched this footage on my computer.
And the second is this, this pendant.
Mine is black.
Hers was white.
It was her favorite color.
I'm not someone who's easily frightened
but this was certainly unnerving.
When am I trying to find the location
and how to get there.
I just keep thinking about the pendant.
I swear, I watched the footage at least 100 times.
I was literally in that room too.
Everything was cold and musty.
I visited her.
I never saw my wife in the footage.
How hard I wanted that someone to be her.
- Hi there my son.
Do you hear me?
- Yeah I hear you, but my signal isn't good here.
- I've never been able to call you directly yet.
Huh?
- Don't get me started on that, I'm busy anyway.
- Busy.
Busy in the middle of nowhere.
All right.
- After 25 years, don't tell me what to do.
- I'm sorry for what happened.
I really am.
- I'm sure you did.
Look Olly, I don't have time for this
so I'm hanging up.
- Wait!
Wait, wait!
Did you get the video I sent you?
About the location.
- Yeah I got it.
I'm going to visit the place today.
- God forgive me.
I should never have sent that footage to you.
- What the hell are you talking about?
- That abandoned building, it's not .
- Olly.
Olly I can't hear you.
Shit!
This guy is unbelievable.
If I'm right, there's maybe a mile or so to go.
I guess it doesn't matter too much,
the weather is quite good.
It's not a problem if I need to walk a little bit.
Oh wow, look at this place, it's something.
Ah, it won't switch on.
It's been here for a while.
Okay, it's time to collect the car.
Yeah, I found this place on the internet,
though I could hardly find any useful information.
There's an airport not too far from here for small planes,
yet I haven't heard any of them taking off or landing.
Huh, this place has said to have been
abandoned for about 20 years
and the last few people left at that time.
It looks like creepy I swear to God.
You know the former Soviets where the
nuclear catastrophe happened.
I come into some articles,
soldiers lived here and had their
own separated territory.
There was a kindergarten school,
cinema, food stores, and doctors office.
Whatever you can imagine.
It sounds so sad that many people died here
as they weren't willing to leave this place.
Allegedly there were some who starved
or froze to death in winter instead of going away.
I can't understand why anyone would want to stay here.
Wow.
This must have been some kind of theater.
Or maybe a cinema, I don't know.
Yeah, it looks like a theater as I see.
There is the podium
and the crowd could sit.
Yeah, sit there.
Never enough seats for many people as I see.
What the...
Wow, wow.
I bet this has to be the result of some movie shooting.
Yeah, fake teeth.
Fake blood.
Probably Indie film makers came to shoot a horror movie.
Yeah, maybe.
Oh now I can hear some airplanes.
I can't believe it.
Hester.
I was thinking about whether
I should stay here for the evening
and for the night while I was walking around here.
And finally I decided that I would love
to know why that footage I found on my computer was shot.
Why now?
Why this place?
Why me?
Too many why's huh?
Yeah.
Well, that's one hell of an atmosphere.
Huh, where was the mask?
This was not the wind.
Holy shit.
Shit.
These are not props.
This is not costume props.
Hello.
Help!
This can't be.
This is not real.
This is not real.
This can't be real.
This isn't happening.
Save her.
Where can you be?
Oh, my dear God.
I'll get you out of here.
Shh.
Shh.
What the hell?
9-1-1, what is your emergency?
My name is Gil Spencer, I found a baby.
Sir, what is your location?
Route 7 around 10 miles
from the closest city, I think.
Are you all right? Are you or the baby injured?
No, we are fine.
As I see, she's completely fine.
Are you in danger right now?
No, we are not in danger right now.
She might be hungry a little bit.
I don't know what to do.
I don't know where her parents are
and I can't drive like this.
Please help us.
Okay sir, I need you to get out of the car,
stay visible, and do not sit back.
Take care of the baby if necessary.
Is that something you can do?
Yeah I can do that.
What kind of car do you have?
A black SX4.
All right, stay where you are.
We're on the way.
- Sometimes we need to see things to believe them.
Though it's still really hard for me,
I already had a lot on my mind before I left,
but now...
I can't count them on one hand.
I didn't mention the footage.
I didn't tell the police anything about it.
No, no finally I didn't do it.
I don't know if I made the right decision.
When I arrived at home the memory card was on my desk.
Yet I left the camera on the ground earlier.
I didn't pick it up, I never removed the card.
A few days later I run back to the buildings.
I thought I would collect the camera.
But anyways, it wasn't there.
What's worse,
neither was the stranger.
No blood, no body parts, nothing.
No one told me any information about the little girl.
I can't imagine how she could survive there.
That place was hell.
No food, no shelter.
It's horrible to think about it.
It's also horrible to imagine
what might have happened to her mother.
I don't know what would be the best.
Telling her the truth when the time is right
or hiding it forever.
I watched the footage at least 100 times.
I was considering going back
but once was more than enough.
And I finally realized
the ghosts purpose was not to scare me to death.
She wanted death to disappear for once and all.
It might sound crazy, but I hope that I would
find my wife on the footage.
That she can somehow be linked to this case.
The traces, the letters in the woods,
the car that started itself.
Are you all right? Are you or the baby injured?
Sometimes we need to see things to believe them.
I need you to get out of the car,
stay visible, and do not sit back.
Take care of the baby if necessary.
