Oops! The King is in Love

Episode 15

Unexpectedly, Eunuch Hai could take action.

It seems that I shouldn't have underestimated Her Majesty.

She pretends that she believes me!

Actually, she plays tricks on me.

Well,

since you are cold-blooded,

don't blame me for my heartlessness.

General.

Will you let my lady

take part in the Imperial Concubine Selection?

Of course.

Otherwise I will be suspected.

Besides,

I know what she is going to do.

She just

wants to take Zhiyue as hostage.

I will play with her

in the show.

But my lady's safety...

After I get the military leadership,

I will let them

come to a bad end.

I used to think

His Majesty in the palace

can do anything

at his will

and is the happiest person in the world.

Unexpectedly, after I came to the palace,

I found

you are

the most miserable person in the world.

Zhixia,

with you accompanying me,

I don't feel lonely.

In the palace where there are red walls and lots of doors,

are you

lonely?

Are you happy?

What?

Eunuch Hai hasn't been found yet.

Look in it.

Look in.

Whether Eunuch Hai is alive or dead,

you must give me an answer.

Yes.

What are you thinking, Your Majesty?

I still don't understand

why Eunuch Hai saved me.

Since I was young,

Eunuch Hai has been

helping Her Majesty do many things.

Only Eunuch Wang

accompanies me all the time.

Having been in the palace for a long time,

I have seen it through that

the longer someone lives here,

the more he plots.

The simplicity has gone!

It's important to be clever.

So is the vision.

You also need to stand by the right side.

Only in this way can you secure yourself.

So

in the palace

there isn't absolute loyalty

or belief.

Sorry

to make you see too much of the seamy side.

I

feel sorry for you.

It's nothing.

Born in the street,

I usually make contact with people in various trades.

I have seen all kinds of people.

But

I have a father without reason.

Then I went to the Minister's Residence.

Don't worry.

I will never become that kind of person.

Her Majesty comes!

I pay my respect to you, my mother.

I pay my respect to you, Your Majesty.

My dear son,

after discussing with the courtiers,

we all believe that the Imperial Concubine Selection

can't be delayed any more.

What do you think?

Having been 20 years old,

you're still unmarried yet,

which has made many courtiers dissatisfied with me.

If you still don't choose the bride candidates,

those courtiers may

blame me for my being arbitrary.

With me humiliated by them,

you'll be pleased, right?

I dare not.

I know you're busy with lots of affairs every day

and have no time to take the Imperial Concubine Selection into account.

So I have arranged it for you.

Half a month later,

all the bride candidates around the country will gather in the royal palace.

You can choose slowly.

All the bride candidates around the country.

Eunuch Sanbao,

as the vice head of the eunuch,

you and Mrs. Li

will take charge of the Imperial Concubine Selection.

Don't make any mistakes.

Yes.

I will try my best

to choose the most suitable one for His Majesty

to make him satisfied.

What do you want to do?

To finish the unfinished thing just now.

The unfinished thing?

All the bride candidates have a lot of good fortune in love affairs.

Gui Yuanliang disappeared.

When Emerald Bordello held a party for the most popular prostitute that night,

His Majesty was there.

I used to think

only His Majesty went there for fun.

Now it seems that

Mr. Gui also went there because he is amative.

Did he go there, too?

Could it be that

Gui Yuanliang betrayed us?

It can't be this.

Gui Yuanliang is very smart.

I have analyzed the current situation for him

thoroughly.

He won't do anything

without consideration.

It's

not so simple.

Look in it.

Look in it to get the bottom of it.

Yes.

From now on,

Lin takes charge of the Eunuchs' Dormitory.

Have you got it?

Yes.

You can leave now.

Sanbao.

Thank you for recommending me

in front of His Majesty.

Is Mr. Hai really lost?

I know.

Avoid asking those I shouldn't ask about.

The Eunuchs' Dormitory

is in charge of the affairs of the imperial harem.

You just take a new official post.

Of course they won't be convinced by you.

Try to be tolerant.

Don't swagger before them,

making His Majesty and me disgraceful.

Don't worry.

Just go for your own business.

Sorry sorry sorry.

Sorry to offend you.

Sorry.

Sorry.

Could it be that Eunuch Hai also like someone?

Don't touch my things.

Sorry. Sorry.

Is it really helpless?

I'm incapable, please punish me.

Khan.

Outside the tent,

there is a Taoist priest from the State of Dongsheng asking to see you,

saying that he has a way to treat the disease.

A Taoist priest from the State of Dongsheng?

Khan.

Don't do that.

The State of Dongsheng has been enemy with us State of Mosa.

How could they

treat our soldiers?

Do I still have

other means?

Should I see

my soldiers dying one by one?

Ask him to come in.

Come in!

Hurry up.

How bold you are!

Seeing Khan,

why don't you kneel down?

I'm here to save people

not to be a servant.

Don't be impolite.

Well,

if you really have

effective prescription,

I

would like to pay lots of money to buy it.

I don't have.

Are you sent from the State of Dongsheng

to trick me?

Take him out.

Kill him.

Take it easy!

Though I don't have the prescription,

it doesn't mean that he doesn't have.

Gui Yuanliang.

Yelu Ming.

Your Majesty.

Hug me.

I'm so tired.

I talked with the ministers about

the Imperial Concubine Selection the whole day.

They

were very excited,

thinking that

eventually

I will select my concubines and be in power.

Actually, they don't know

Her Majesty shows the white feather

by promoting Zhiyue

to stop the public opinion.

It's not easy for Her Majesty

to delegate her power.

If it was in the past,

to choose concubines for me,

naturally I would be happy.

But it's different now.

With you accompanying me,

I don't want to act any more.

I don't want to

act for them.

No.

You are the Majesty.

Have you forgotten the major principles like heaven and earth that you told me

when you went out of the palace in the past?

If you give up

your dream for me,

not only the common people

but also I will hate myself.

Besides,

If you really did such things,

what would I become?

I would become an evil bringing misfortune to the country and people.

Sorry to make you suffer.

I have told you many times

not to come to the Leisure Life Pavilion.

Your Majesty.

I can't find you anywhere.

The carrier pigeon sent a letter from master.

What did master say?

He said he had been on the border of the State of Mosa.

Gui Yuanliang eventually gave him the medicine.

Mosa soldiers have avoided the disaster.

Kill.

Rush.

With smiles on your face, it looks like peach blossoms.

Such a face

reminds me of another person.

I wonder what love is in the world,

which makes people itch.

I'm afraid

we don't have the chance to meet each other again in this life.

As a wacky Taoist priest,

I used to think that

I only like the wine from the State of Dongsheng in my life.

Unexpectedly, the wine from the State of Mosa

is also tasteful.

Hey,

I have a doubt.

Why did the man from the State of Dongsheng

help you save the residence of the State of Mosa?

General Yelu Ming's soldiers

were toxic,

wasn't it the best chance for the State of Dongsheng to have an attack?

His Majesty of the State of Dongsheng invited me to talk with him in the palace.

Right!

It's the right taste.

The embroidery

is the same that you showed me before.

The first time I saw it, I was shocked.

Eunuch Hai

secretly hid the sachet.

Could it be that your mother is still living in the world?

Miss.

With

beauties from the whole country flocking in the capital city,

it's bustling here.

Naturally those vulgar girls

can't compare with you.

As beautiful as the peony,

you are His Majesty's best choice.

Having expected for a long time,

finally the day comes.

But why do I still feel uneasy?

Take it easy!

You

only need to make yourself beautiful,

entering the palace with smiles.

Smile?

I haven't smiled

sincerely for a long time.

For many trifles,

once spoken out,

it seems that I'm making a fuss.

The past memories are visible before my eyes,

unforgettable,

which make me feel sad.

Everyone says that

I got the blessings

from my previous life,

born in a noble family

with wealth and honor.

But who knows

what I have gone through these years?

I am just like a lamb

pushed by my fortune,

never living a day

for myself.

Miss.

Don't think too much.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

It's an auspicious day.

I

will stay in the mansion,

waiting to congratulate on your good news.

Brother is in the palace.

The bride candidates also come.

What is His Majesty waiting for?

Didn't you know anything?

What's His Majesty waiting for?

I show my respect to you, vice Eunuch-in-chief.

I show my respect to you, vice Eunuch-in-chief.

Take the bride candidates away.

Yan Zhixia.

You have persuaded yourself

for thousands of times.

As His Majesty,

it's related to the whole country,

anyhow,

you must support him.

Don't make him feel awkward.

Brother. Outside....

Is there a happy scene outside?

Of course.

There are many beauties there.

Zhiyue also comes.

Let's go.

Hmm.

I show my respect to you, aunt.

Rise.

For the Imperial Concubine Selection today,

all the girls outside

have dressed themselves up.

Why are you still the same as usual,

attaching no significance?

Aunt,

it's not true that I didn't take it seriously.

It's the first time

for His Majesty to select concubines.

All the courtiers are watching.

I won't make them gossip,

saying that I take the advantage of you

to compete with others for beauty of looks.

Before living in the palace,

you have known to share my burdens.

It turns out that I did have the right choice.

You're the child of generals

appreciated by me.

Whatever you do,

they will gossip.

Miss Zhiyue,

the previous emperor presented it

to Her Majesty by himself

when they got married.

Aunt,

it's too valuable.

I can't accept it.

You are chosen by me.

I think you deserve it,

Just accept it.

Thank you, aunt.

General.

The soldiers of The Gong Family

have gathered

in the name of relieving a garrison.

Now they are on the way to the capital.

Good.

After Zhiyue was selected to be Her Majesty,

both His Majesty and Her Majesty must relax their vigilance.

At that time,

it will be the best time for me to conspire my great undertaking.

I show my respect to you, mom.

Rise.

My son,

I have taken Yue'er here for you.

Don't just stand here.

The bride candidates would be worried.

Your Majesty.

Today

I am here to attend the Imperial Concubine Selection

the same as others.

If I enter the imperial garden with you and Your Majesty,

naturally others will gossip.

It's better for me to go with the other bride candidates.

See?

Zhiyue is educated and reasonable with outstanding appearances.

No wonder the emperor always have you in mind

these years.

Go ahead.

Eunuch Sanbao, please lead the way for me.

Eunuch Sanbao.

It's auspicious today.

You look unhappy.

Why?

Sorry for my impoliteness.

Miss Zhiyue.

Just go straight to the point.

I'm

not that kind of person

threatening someone with some evidence.

If I really want to deal with you,

you would have been dead.

Thank you, Miss Zhiyue.

Thank you for your great kindness.

No need.

As you can see,

for the Imperial Concubine Selection today,

numerous daughters

from noble families gathered here.

There must be three palaces and six chambers

in the future.

If you are really capable,

just make His Majesty choose you openly.

Don't disguise as an eunuch,

following His Majesty every day.

Then what's it about?

Time is late.

Miss Zhiyue.

Let's hurry up.

It won't be good if we're late.

Yan Zhixia.

I don't care why you lurk in the palace

and how you attract His Majesty.

I have to remind you that

staying beside His Majesty,

if you are exposed,

it doesn't matter that you may lose your life.

What will the people think of His Majesty?

Besides,

you are clear that

how many ridiculous things you have done with His Majesty.

Now the most important thing for HIs Majesty is to select the Imperial Concubine.

With you around him,

you can only delay him,

bringing him danger.

I

won't make anyone hurt His Majesty.

Your Majesty,

the bride candidates are ready.

These bride candidates are checked

and selected at each level with outstanding appearances.

You can have anyone

you like.

It's all up to you.

They will serve you in the future,

not me.

My concubines are supposed to be filial to you first.

You're so filial to me,

which makes me so relieved.

I also expect that

you can continue the royal family line

with a beautiful son.

Mother.

According to the ancestors' instructions,

as for the concubines of emperors and princes,

they should be daughters from educated families.

In my opinion,

appearance is not important.

What matters more is quality.

What you said makes sense.

It's time to

select the imperial concubines.

Daughter of Li Zong, Ministry of Revenue,

Li Wan'er,

aged 16.

She is so weak.

While she visited the imperial garden with me in the future,

I'm afraid she would be blown away by the wind.

Award her.

Daughter of the Lin's from Hangzhou,

Lin Yu,

aged 16.

Trembled and nervous,

she is not a good choice of concubine.

Award her.

Even she wasn't selected.

Maybe it's the first time for His Majesty to select concubines,

he's very strict.

Award her.

Award her.

Award her.

Can you tell me

your understanding of a woman's virtue?

My father said

a woman lacking talent is having virtue.

A woman should be gentle and considerate.

As my concubine,

how could you say that

a woman lacking talent is having virtue?

You can leave.

Award her.

Mother.

Having selected for such a long time,

I'm dazzled.

What about selecting another day?

Another day?

You asked them to recite the moral instructions for woman

and have talent shows.

When I attended the Imperial Concubine Selection,

I didn't have such experiences.

Having selected for so long,

how could you ask to select another day?

My son.

It's to select concubines

not discuss affairs on the court

or judge the prisoners.

Don't you think you're too particular about it?

It's the first time for me to select concubines.

Of course I will choose the best one.

Even so,

we still have Zhiyue.

Go on.

Daughter of Gong Ye, General of National Defense,

Gong Zhiyue,

aged 17.

Just select.

Can you tell me

your understanding of a woman's virtue?

Your Majesty.

As the saying goes,

to manage state affairs and rule the world,

a woman should take half of the responsibility

and respect the military officer first.

A woman's virtue

has effect on the education of the family members,

thus support her husband to manage affairs and rule the world.

So being respectful and filial

is the most important for a woman.

I have another question.

My son.

Mother.

I won't ask anymore.

Indeed, Zhiyue

is from a noble family,

gentle, refined,

soft, respectful,

either kind or serious

with both ability and political integrity.

I

decide

to select...

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

I show my respect to Your Majesty.

I show my respect to Your Majesty.

Yan Yihang.

Why are you here?

I have something important to report to you.

Sorry to disturb your Imperial Concubine Selection.

I am guilty and deserve death.

What is more urgent than His Majesty's Imperial Concubine Selection?

Tell me your urgent thing immediately.

Report to Your Majesty.

The envoy of the State of Mosa has arrived in the capital city

and is requiring an audience with Your Majesty now.

How dare you!

Why must you report this minor affair of the envoy at this time?

Report to Your Majesty,

the Khan of the state of Mosa came himself.
