I don't really do a beauty regiment.

I just started doing it like a year ago.

But before that, I was a soap and water kind of a guy.

But now I got so much time on our hands.

I thought it'd be fun to do like it at-home mask

because I see them all the time.

I'm like, "ew, that's kind of gross and kind of cool."

so let's do it. Let's get gooey.

I travel a ton.

I am always on an airplane. Your skin gets so dry.

So today we're going to be doing a hydrating mask.

Honestly, this would be really great to have in my hotel room.

It's really simple.

Avocado for the moisture, all the oils.

Yes. Ohh.

So pretty.

A little bit of honey, yummy.

Healing properties, works great.

And some oatmeal.

I wouldn't do the flavored, I'd just do regular.

I don't think I want like a cinnamon-apple moment here,

but just, you know.

It looks delicious.

Like I could eat this.

While I mush this up and get it all smooth,

why don't we take a look at our first episode?

Tori and jon may not have won millions in the lottery,

but $300,000 went a long way

in altoona, iowa.

Now, this is such a fun episode because all the homes

were beautiful, brand-new, and stunning.

and the coloring definitely complements very well.

I think one of the things we like to see

a completely new home in an entirely new development,

one of des moines' most sought-after areas.

It's not often that an opportunity like this

one comes a-knocking.

The first two levels have 2,680 square feet -- wow.

...And the basement has 900 unfinished square feet -- wow, cool.

...So 3,500 square feet of fabulous.

And the price is just like these peaks,

a little steep at $499,900.

Instead of having that separate eating and kitchen,

they're just combining it right with the island,

which I think is great.

This house has got a lot of elements that we like.

The level land, the space out here,

I think is probably more

in the direction of what we want to do. Okay.

I did love the other house, though.

What I would do is I'd kind of ground up the oatmeal

a little bit because that's what it's not making it stick.

You don't want it to totally dry.

Honestly, I don't think this is going to dry out at all.

an epic bathroom with a gigantic shower

for tori and jon.

Pretty awesome.

This is the biggest home I've shown tori and jon,

brand-new, of course,

and proudly positioned in a gorgeous neighborhood

that's a little bit more established.

The one thing I love about this particular lot,

and we're at the top of your budget again,

but not as high as yesterday, at $475,000.

You know, people want to gather around

who's ever is in the kitchen.

It's always a nice option, and it always looks so pretty.

There's so much to look at with the pond and the bike trails.

I just love it.

I noticed the hard floor throughout the entire house.

I know, and it's rare for the midwest

not to have carpet in the bedrooms or the upstairs.

It's easy to clean, yeah.

Yep, this massive home has all the needs

of a growing family covered.

I know I'm good when all my houses are winners,

but tori and jon will have to decide on one.

honestly, right now, I think the house

we're leaning towards the most and have chosen

is copper creek.

I mean, despite being at the top of their budget,

You know, it's like anything else, you kind of get --

you got to get accustomed to it. But it's definitely become home.

Have you guys done any projects?

We have. We landscaped the front of the house.

In the middle of building our garden beds for the backyard.

I love it. Finished off the basement.

Well, like, what did you do?

All the flooring and getting all the trim

finished up and then painting everything.

So we were actually able to take the room that was

to be a bedroom downstairs and turn that into a gym.

Yes! That's my room.

Oh, I'm so jealous.

Oh, my gosh, you guys are set up.

I love to go and ride my stationary bike

and just work out all that stress.

Are you working from home or are you not working?

What's happening with you guys?

Jon is actually working from home

and I have been furloughed,

so I am just taking a nice, long staycation.

So you don't have to put on makeup or anything.

No, it's been so nice. I mean, your skin is flawless, darling.

Come on, give us some tricks and tips, please.

A tinted moisturizer is my favorite thing

in the whole wide world.

'cause it's super light, gives me some spf

because I am porcelain-skinned and don't tan

'cause I don't want wrinkles and I don't want skin cancer.

I'm pretty sure I wear more makeup than you do, tori.

I'm pretty sure you do.

jon, do you have any tips for looking gorgeous?

You know, honestly, one of the things we use

a sulfate-free type shampoos and cleansers.

And for us, it's really been a huge game changer.

Like, my skin is not nearly as dry.

It's a less-is-more scenario.

for you guys. Well, you got to give tori credit.

She did give me one of these at-home haircuts, so.

Now, we put a lot of effort into making our skin

My producers thought it would be really fun

to put me in a hair conditioning mask

from things from your refrigerator.

I'm so excited to get messy again. Again!

You guys wanted to spend some downtime with me.

This is what we're doing.

We have half an avocado, yummy.

Olive oil. Just one tablespoon.

We have one tablespoon of honey.

Oh, that's going to be sticky.

gonna mix that up.

I'm putting egg in my hair!

I just did my hair for the last mask.

So while I get this all smooth, get rid of the chunks,

I think we should check in with marcie and her family.

Now, marcie has had a lot of changes over the years.

First, she won the lottery and was able to move out

of their one-bedroom apartment into a perfect dream home

for her and the girls.

Cottage cove is just a half a mile

from their current house in dennis port.

At just $355,000, they'll have almost half their budget

to make it their own.

What do you think of the house?

-Oh, my god. -Great, yeah.

This house is fantastic for you guys,

it's four bedrooms, three baths.

and this master suite is perfect for marcie,

as long as she fixes the ceiling.

Bromstad: The in-law apartment is more than enough for one.

Let's see how the others like the main house.

Bromstad: I know the kitchen's a little small,

but it has the opportunity to really be a nice kitchen.

Yeah, I was gonna say. Look at all this space. We could really expand it.

Upstairs, there's another full bathroom

and two bedrooms for marcie to share with one of the girls...

Unless, of course, mom wants the entire upstairs to herself.

I didn't put it on my wish list, but I kind of like the en suite thing.

So here we are a year and a half later

and tori's moved out.

And we want to downsize and get a little bit smaller place.

So basically, you kind of almost flipped it

and now are like, "I'm gonna make some money off of this."

...Found a new love. We were high school sweethearts.

I was recently divorced.

And it turned out he had been separated from his wife

for three years. I'm happy you guys are in love.

What are we looking for? No renovations. No remodeling.

Oh, so we're going -- turnkey. Turnkey move-in.

Bromstad: Marcie's already remodeled one house.

I get why she wants to avoid another one.

So I'm taking her to taunton river estate in middleborough.

It's a fabulous new construction.

You can't get any more turnkey than that, right?

and a stand-up shower.

Beautiful color on the granite, on the vanity. I like that.

Is this move-in-ready for you guys? It is.

There's some fixes that I would -- changes, not fixes.

The changes I would make.

Like I would put a walk-in tile shower here

and take out this insert one.

It's all cosmetic. It really is.

I do like that there's windows.

I mean, every room, every room's got nice splashes of light.

Absolutely. Yeah.

we could build a little deck

just to sit out there and have our coffee. Right.

There is a deck outside where you could connect the two decks

to make it one big, gigantic moment.

You have to bleach before you do these

crazy colors or it won't show up.

How'd that all come about?

After we renovated our cape house,

the crew came back and did a "where are they now?"

based on the renovations.

And marcie pulled me aside and said, "you know,

are you going to ask for a job?"

and I was like, "what are you talking about?

I can't ask for a job. That's insane."

she went into the kitchen and was like,

"so, tucker, are you guys hiring?"

and that was basically it.

And he said, "yeah, send me your résumé

and we'll see what we can do."

and I was brought on as a field coordinator.

The first episode I worked was with below bill and marcie

and then a spot opened up in california.

I got home from a shoot, packed my car,

and drove across the country a week later.

Oh, my gosh. Are you are you loving l.A.?

It's busy all the time.

There is no downtime here ever.

But other than that, yeah, I am very much enjoying it.

That's what she went to college for.

So very few people actually work in the industry.

It's very, very difficult to break into.

So I feel like we're really blessed that she got this job

and won the lottery twice.

No, we won the lottery by having arielle on our team.
