('STILL FIGHTING FOR IT' BY ZAYDE WOLF)

DARREN McMULLEN: It's the final night of the blind auditions.

# This ain't over, no

The diversity of talent this year...

(SINGS POWERFULLY)

..has been spectacular.

(HOLDS NOTE)

That was a four-chair-turn performance.

# Still fighting for it

# Yeah, it feels like...

That performance was so beautiful.

# Yeah. # I love you.

(SINGS POWERFULLY)

(SINGS POWERFULLY)

You're a beast of a singer. # I'm still fighting for it. #

And two teams are already full.

(SINGS POWERFULLY)

# A living legend

# Living legend. #

Team George is full.

(SINGS HIGH NOTE)

(ROCK MUSIC)

(CHEERING) Team Guy is full!

Tonight,...

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Guy.

..'The Voice' gets thrown into chaos.

# Give me the green light

# Give me the green light

It's not fair.

You've just breached the rules.

I just can't believe you didn't turn around for that.

Don't make me look like the bad guy.

You're the one ain't following the rules.

DARREN: And the girls are still hunting for their final artists.

MAN: How about you make some noise for Kelly Rowland?

(CHEERING)

So, Team Kelly has two spots left.

# We don't do nothing No, not for the hell of it

I'm really excited about this year.

# Give me the green light

Delta Goodrem!

(CHEERING)

(CHEERING)

# Ready for the showtime

# Y'all see my name in big lights

I only have one spot left.

I need one artist that's a little bit out of the genre

of all of my others.

# I'm ready, I'm ready

It's Guy Sebastian!

(CHEERING)

GUY: My team's full, and Team Guy is a force to be reckoned with.

Please welcome Boy George! # Give me the green light

Team George is full.

I think I may have the winner.

# I'm ready for this

# I'm ready for this. #

# This is The Voice. #

# This is The Voice. #

('YOU SET ME FREE' BY LEE RICHARDSON)

Have fun, coaches.

Have fun. Last day of blinds.

Last day.

Last day.

What will we find on the last day of blinds?

WOMAN: G'day, Steve. Hey!

Welcome back.

Great to be back. (LAUGHS)

Fantastic.

Fantastic.

I'm Steve Clisby. I'm 74,

and I'm an All Star.

I was on season two of 'The Voice'.

I was on Seal's team in the beginning.

I eventually moved to Delta's team - Delta saved me in the battles -

and made it all the way to the top eight.

# You would think my love Was really something good

# Baby, if I could Oh, really

# Change (CHEERING)

# Change (CHEERING)

# The world. #

(CHEERING)

I had just an all-around great experience.

Thank you.

Ladies and gentlemen, the legend that is Steve Clisby.

The next phase was my career.

You know, we ended up doing sold-out shows, album out,

reaching a larger audience, and I think that's

one of the things that 'The Voice' helped do.

I'm back now because I always try to do the best that I can do.

I thought, "If I'm gonna put myself out there again..."

The unfiltered voice in my head said, "Dude,

"you have to try and win this." (CHUCKLES)

So...

..I don't see any reason why I shouldn't give it my best shot

and see what happens.

I remember the first time. (CHUCKLES)

Yes. You were there.

That's right, yeah. Yeah, that's right.

So cool. How was that?

Oh, it was good fun. Yeah.

You were concerned about your age and stuff.

Ah, yeah.

I was like, "It's not 'The Age'. It's 'The Voice'."

I was like, "It's not 'The Age'. It's 'The Voice'."

Yep, apparently so.

If we put too much emphasis on age, then you start to let it affect you.

I don't like limits.

You don't need to have limits, you know?

Not till you take your last breath.

(JAZZY MUSIC)

DARREN: We're back at it, huh? Back at it.

How is he doing? He's good. He's good.

Why is he back? Because he's just great.

(LAUGHS) Why not? He's really good.

He's... He's committed, you know? Yeah.

Love it. Still the coolest cat in the world?

Love it. Still the coolest cat in the world?

Absolutely.

(EERIE STING)

Well, I'm... I'm actually nervous. Really nervous. Me too.

Who has...? Who has room left?

Delta and Kelly have got room left. Kelly and Delta, right? Yep.

The other two are full. Come on, Kelly.

# Call it magic

(CHEERING)

# Call it true

# Call it true

# I call it magic

One of my favourite songs.

I love this song. # When I'm with you

# And

# And I don't, and I don't, and I don't, and I don't

(CHEERING) # And I don't, it's true

# No, I don't, No, I don't, No, I don't, No, I don't

# Want anyone else but you

# No, I don't, No, I don't, No, I don't, No I don't

# And I don't, it's true

# And I don't, it's true

# No, I don't, No, I don't, No, I don't, No, I don't

# Want anyone else but you

# Wanna fall

(CHEERING)

Oh, my god!

# I fall so hard

# I wanna fall

# Fall so hard

# They call it magic

Oh, god!

(CHEERING)

(CHEERING)

# They call it true

Oh, he feels so good.

# They call it ma...

# Ma-ma-magic

# And if you have to ask me

# After all we've been through

# Still believe in magic

# Well, yes, I do. # Well, yes, I do.

(LAUGHS) (CHEERING)

Oh, my god!

(CHEERING)

BOY GEORGE: Oh, wow. That was just... mental.

Thank you.

(CHEERING)

Stevie did it!

(LAUGHTER)

Oh, my god!

Wow. Wait -

do they know each other?

(WHISTLING)

Oh.

Oh, it's...

..so good to see you.

I feel like I'm in a losing battle here.

I feel like I'm in a losing battle here.

Oh! (CHUCKLES)

Wait, why do y'all know each other?

Steve was in my season two,

and we went to...

..we went to the lives together.

And he's incredible - an amazing soul, and...

Oh... Thank you.

Just so much... I guess, I turned around,

and I was, like... This moment of seeing you back here and,

like, thinking about, like,

how much has happened since that second season, and...

A lot's happened, yeah. (CHUCKLES)

And then to come back here, in this moment,

is really, really special. That was such a great surprise of...

That was a total surprise.

That was a total surprise.

(CHEERING) That was really awesome.

So glad you turned around.

Renee, there's water coming from my eyes. I don't know what it is.

Oh, it's really dusty back here.

(LAUGHS)

I'm sorry for being full, but...

I really, really just...

First of all, it was just incredible to listen to you.

Thanks, man. And, you know,

it was really annoying that I just don't have room for you,

because you really deserve four chairs.

(APPLAUSE)

(APPLAUSE)

What I really liked about your voice was it was very individual.

(CHEERING)

That definitely would have been a four-chair turn.

Absolutely. I can't turn either.

My team is full as well.

I knew that was you.

Oh, did you know? Yeah. Like, that...

(LAUGHS) It's so effortless.

That's what a singer sounds like

when they just aren't trying to prove something.

They're just singing because they've been doing it for a while,

and they understand their gift, and they don't need to push it.

They just... It's so effortless with you.

Thanks. Thank you very much. (CHEERING)

Thanks. Thank you very much. (CHEERING)

Really appreciate it. DELTA: You know what it is?

You know what I'm feeling in this moment?

It's that I feel like... I was just a kid when I started this show.

Like, I feel like...

And you trusted me. You were the oldest artist

we'd ever had on the show. (CHUCKLES)

No. Shh. (LAUGHTER)

And...

And you came on the show, saying you wanted to work with me,

because you saw me,

and you saw my heart.

And in this moment,

I'd love to be your coach as the woman that I've become.

Thank you. (CHEERING)

It's true.

And you've got a whole 'nother frequency over here, brother.

(LAUGHS)

No, so, the most incredible thing was just the love that I felt. I...

I understand exactly what Guy is saying,

where he says, like, you can tell someone, like, really loves...

..their gift, where you just...

When you opened up for the...

(SINGS) 'ma',

..it was so beautiful, and it was so pure,

because, like, of course, when you listen to the song,

magic is just love.

Like, I still believe in love.

Like, I still believe in love.

I still believe in magic.

And I felt like it was just, like, this magic dust

that you put in the room, and I just...

It's so funny, 'cause I'm, like...

OK, I wanna be your coach, but I'm like, "Can you just sing to me

"for all of our sessions?" (LAUGHS)

Because I would just be so happy.

I'd be happy to. (BOTH CHUCKLE)

But I would absolutely...

I would love, love, love to be your coach.

And I know that you know Delta, and y'all have history.

I know.

But I would absolutely love to be your coach. And I lo..

Delta's my girl. So, no matter what you do,...

As is Kelly.

As is Kelly.

..you're gonna make the right choice. But I just...

I would love to work with you.

She's already gotten the opportunity.

(LAUGHTER) So...

Yeah, do something different! (LAUGHTER)

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

RENEE: What's he gonna do?

Come to my team.

This is meant to happen.

(AUDIENCE SHOUTS)

(DRAMATIC MUSIC)

Um...

I would absolutely love to have you on Team Kelly.

(SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC)

(SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC)

# This is The Voice. #

# This is The Voice. #

(AUDIENCE SHOUTS)

I would love, love, love to be your coach.

And I know that you know Delta, and y'all have history.

I know.

But she's already gotten the opportunity.

(LAUGHS)

(SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC)

Come to my team.

This is meant to happen.

(AUDIENCE SHOUTS)

(AUDIENCE SHOUTS)

(GUY LAUGHS)

We gotta finish what we started.

Are we gonna finish what we started? Yeah.

Come here! (CHEERING)

He really teased us with that one.

That was a... That was.

('COOL AS HELL' BY BAKER BOY)

Seriously. Aw!

Let's do it.

# Got me in my feels now When it's playing real loud. #

Such a pleasure. (CHUCKLES)

Thank you so much for turning around.

No problem. You're good.

George.

George.

That was proper class. Like, old-school class.

Amazing.

Brother. Your voice. Thank you very much.

It's an insane surprise. Come on, Steve. Let's go.

Oh, which way? We're going this way. (CHUCKLES)

(CHEERING)

I did not predict that! (CHUCKLES)

So cool.

Just...

..effortlessly cool.

That was incredible. I'm so happy to see you too.

If my mom was here, she would...

If my mom was here, she would...

I know.

She'd be with us.

Lots to talk about. OK. Can't wait.

Alright. It's good to have you back. OK.

Alright. Bye, Steve. Bye, guys!

(BOTH CHUCKLE)

That was magic.

(BOTH LAUGH)

Oh, and I knew you'd do it. I just knew you would.

DARREN: Can I say hi? Oh, man!

DARREN: Can I say hi? Oh, man!

Man, I was wondering where you were! My man! How are ya?

Oh, it's so good to see you.

I was so nervous. That last one.

Wasn't it? I was like,

"Oh, my god, please turn. Please turn." My hands were sweated.

Dude, you?

What about me?

(BOTH LAUGH)

# Preacher, take me down. #

My team is officially full!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) GUY: Yes!

Whoo!

# So, Preacher, take me down

# Take me down to the river, river. #

# Take me down to the river, river. #

('PEACH' BY BROODS)

This year, I was trying to find artists

that were not normally Team Delta artists -

artists that would push me out of the comfort zone,

that would challenge me.

(CHEERING)

I think I have to go with Delta.

I'm gonna pick Delta. Delta!

Yeah!

I might need to go with my home girl, Delta.

Yay!

When I turned around and saw Stellar,

When I turned around and saw Stellar,

with her heart just out of her chest...

# And the band will play

It was powerful.

# I'll always

# Remember us this way

# Oh, yeah

(CHEERING)

# I don't wanna be just a memory, baby

Stellar, I just felt everything that you were singing.

I thought you were absolutely amazing. I loved it.

Thank you so much, Delta.

# Ooh, ooh. #

When I think of my team, it has everything.

I've got raw diamonds,...

# There must be something

# In the water

(CHEERING)

# Every day is getting colder. #

I love husky voices.

When I hear your voice, I get inspired to think of songs.

Thank you.

(SINGS 'SI DOLCE E'L TORMENTO')

(CHEERING)

I was not expecting this surfy, beautiful Aussie girl,

barefoot and singing opera.

(SINGS IN ITALIAN)

(SINGS IN ITALIAN)

I could never have a team without some fun.

# Come on, come on

# And do The loco-motion with me

And my rainbow just got brighter by finding Callum.

# Swing your hips now. #

# Stand on the bar Stomp your feet

# Start clapping

# Got a real good feeling Something bad about to happen. #

I couldn't believe how many young artists there were this year.

# This world can hurt you

# It cuts you deep

# And leaves a scar

So young, with a world of music ahead of them.

So young, with a world of music ahead of them.

# ..breaks like a heart. #

# Know the score

# And I love you

# I love you, I love you. #

Where has all this talent come from?

I have no idea.

# Just wait till I get through

# Because I'm bad

# I'm bad Come on

# You know I'm bad

# I'm bad You know it. #

# I guess it's never really over. #

# I guess it's never really over. #

Yeah! (CHEERING)

Onya, Delta! Aah!

You know, it's this time in my life where I can just rock and roll.

Like... And I've got now a frontman artist who I know what to do with.

# Slide over here

# And give me a moment

Yeah! # Your moves are so raw

# I've gotta let you know

# I've gotta let you know. #

# The party's over

My favourite moment of the blinds

was turning around and seeing Jesse Teinaki.

was turning around and seeing Jesse Teinaki.

# Oh, I can lie Say I like it like that

# Like it like that Oh

It is wonderful to see you come back here and do that performance -

a performance you will remember forever.

# Yeah. # (CHEERING)

We gotta finish what we started.

The icing on the cake was Steve Clisby

to bring home my team in the blinds.

I am feeling so grateful for my team, season nine.

It has everything I could have imagined,

It has everything I could have imagined,

and I love it.

('PEACH' BY BROODS)

(CHEERING)

Good job. (CHUCKLES)

Good job. No pressure!

Well done, Delta.

(CHUCKLES)

(EXHALES) Congrats.

So, only Kelly. What a team.

(SIGHS) That's enough for me this season. (LAUGHS)

Here I am - the only person still putting together my team.

You know,...

..I am going to make sure that, no matter how long it takes,...

..I am going to make sure that, no matter how long it takes,...

..I'm gonna find the artists that I connect with tonight.

So...

I don't know how long that'll be.

We'll have to see.

(LAUGHS)

DARREN: Coming up...

(SINGS POWERFULLY)

Amazing. Oh, my god!

Whoo!

..with Kelly on the hunt for her final two artists,...

(SINGS OPERATICALLY)

(HOLDS NOTE) (MOUTHS) Wow.

(HOLDS NOTE) (MOUTHS) Wow.

..who will make the grade?

(CHEERING)

Hello! (SQUEALS)

That was a lovely, powerful performance.

And, later, Guy's actions...

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Guy.

What are you doing? You just have breached the rules.

..send shockwaves through the competition.

He is not playing by the rules.

I just can't believe you didn't turn around for that.

DELTA: Well, this is a first! GEORGE: I feel like it's not fair.

# This is The Voice. #

# This is The Voice. #

# This is The Voice. #

('UNICORN' BY THE LIBRARIANS)

I was watching 'The Voice', and it was Boy George's first season,

and I said to Mum, "Who's that?"

And she said, "Look him up - Boy George."

So I did, and I was, like, "Oh, my god. I love his style. I love him."

And it just started from there.

# It keeps turning

# Let's stop burning. #

# Let's stop burning. #

I'm Lucy Griffiths. I'm 16 years old,

and I am obsessed with the '80s.

My room has Boy George posters all over the walls,

and then I have Culture Club vinyls, books of Boy George...

Boy George is flamboyant.

He's done his own thing since day one, and I can relate to that.

# Told myself

# It's just a game

# It's just a game

# But no-one ever made me feel this way. #

Tonight I am singing a song by Boy George, of course,

but I have changed the melody and the first...

..part of the song into opera.

(TENSE MUSIC)

(EXHALES) I'm really nervous.

(TENSE MUSIC)

(MUSIC SWELLS AND FADES)

She's our baby.

Are you gonna be OK? (LAUGHS)

(MOUTHS)

(ALL LAUGH)

(CLASSICAL MUSIC PLAYS)

(SINGS OPERATICALLY IN ITALIAN)

(CHEERING)

(SINGS IN ITALIAN)

(SINGS IN ITALIAN)

It's Italian.

# Do you really want to hurt me

Oh!

I was not expecting that.

(CHEERING) # Do you really want to make me cry

# Precious kisses

# Words that burn me

# Lovers never ask you why

# Lovers never ask you why

# If it's love

# That you want from me (CHEERING)

# Then take it

# Away

# Do you really want to hurt me

# Do you really want to

# Make me cry? #

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Oh, my god! (SQUEALS)

First of all...

First of all, let me just start... What's your name, darling?

I'm Lucy. I'm 16. I'm from North Gold Coast.

(CHEERING)

Oh, George... Let me just tell you...

Listen, I thought you were fantastic.

I would have turned for you if I had space - completely.

Well, my team is not full, but I have been very, like,

touch-and-go with this button right now.

But you had a lovely performance, and...

But you had a lovely performance, and...

..just make sure you, like, feel it.

I think, the more you experience with life,

you'll be able to, like, really pour that into your music,

so that we can feel it, OK?

(CHEERING)

Doing something with something that I wrote that's deeply,

deeply personal to me - you know, that song changed my life.

You know, and I didn't want it released.

This is the biggest joke of all.

I went into the record company and said, "No-one's gonna buy that.

"They won't listen to that. It's too slow. I'm leaving the band."

Number one in 36 countries. GUY: Wow.

Number one in 36 countries. GUY: Wow.

So... (CHEERING)

We get it wrong as much as we get it right,

and I really loved what you did.

What you did was so beautiful. It wasn't perfect.

The idea of what you did was so cool and clever,

but sometimes when an idea is not ready,

the best thing you can do is say to that person,

"Look, come over here. Let's..."

If you want my help...

Would you like my help?

It's definitely something that I would like to work on you with.

(CHEERING)

(CHEERING)

But you might have to wear some other clothes for the session,

as well, OK? Sorry, I... I love you.

I am, like, obsessed with you.

I don't know if she heard what you said.

(CHEERING)

Aw!

Sorry. I just love you. No, don't... don't be apologising.

That's what English people do all the time. "Oh, sorry."

Come down. Come down. DELTA: Basically, George is saying

he's gonna do a mentoring session, I think. Is that what you're saying?

You guys are gonna have a work-through session?

No, I'm gonna record the thing with her.

Oh!

(CHEERING) DARREN: Wow!

(CHEERING) DARREN: Wow!

Where's your family? Around the back, yeah?

Yeah. Alright. Let's go.

Lovely to meet you, Lucy. GUY: Oh, there you go!

Bye, sweetheart.

(APPLAUSE)

(CHEERING)

Now, you understand I'm not just doing this to be nice?

Oh, no. Yeah. I'm not doing it to be nice.

I mean it.

Oh, here she is! I'm just saying to her that,

you know, I actually mean what I said. So...

I'm not just doing this... You know,

it's not a TV moment for me. I thought it was incredible.

it's not a TV moment for me. I thought it was incredible.

Oh! How old are you again?

16. 16. Come on! Listen,

that was really good - that you did it. It was a nice surprise for me,

'cause I wasn't expecting it. See you later. Bye.

ALL: Thank you! Bye!

Um, Boy George just said he's gonna record a track with you.

Did you hear that when you were on stage?

No. He said that.

Look at your face. (LAUGHTER)

You clearly didn't hear it. Oh, sweetheart.

Aw!

(SOBS)

It's a lot - I get it. You handled it...

You were very cool and calm up there.

You were very cool and calm up there.

I loved what she did with my song,

and I think that there's something in it, you know?

So it will be interesting to explore what it could be.

So, yeah, I will keep my word.

He just said that he's... he wants to record with me, and that's, like,

amazing, so... (SNIFFLES)

I have two spaces left. I want that extra oomph.

I want one more female,

and I want that extra oomph.

But, man, it's just...

The final two are just really hard.

DARREN: Coming up,...

DARREN: Coming up,...

(GROANS)

(LAUGHS AND SNORTS)

..a much-loved All Star returns.

I auditioned in season three,

wearing these bad boys,

bright blue tights

and some really questionable shorts.

Will she be the first to join Team Kelly tonight?

Yeah, not at all nerve-racking,

having Kelly Rowland sitting there behind a chair. Oh, my god.

# This is The Voice. #

# Going my own way

# It's hard to get used to

# But I'm doing OK

# Like I never knew you

# Passing through the fire. #

(SONG CONTINUES AND DISTORTS)

Hi. My name is Mason Lloyde. I'm 28 years old,

and I'm from Adelaide, South Australia.

(UPBEAT MUSIC)

Plastering for a job is... is quite...

..painful, really. (LAUGHS)

..painful, really. (LAUGHS)

No, it's not my love, but it is...

it is a job, and it does pay the bills.

I sing all the time on site,

when the music plays - whatever... whatever comes on.

# Gotta get you on to me

# You've got my blood rushing

I... I get paid out a lot, but...

it's OK. That's what I do.

# You burn, burn, burn me out. #

Yeah, music is my first love.

If I'm singing, then I'm happy.

(GENTLE MUSIC)

(GENTLE MUSIC)

I sing all over Adelaide -

from pubs and bars to weddings.

I just love being on stage and...

..and giving the audience something that they don't necessarily see

every day.

Pub singing and wedding singing

is great, but I just wanna take that next step

and really get my name out there.

(UPLIFTING MUSIC)

I'm gonna step on that stage and give it everything I possibly can.

It makes my heart beat very fast

knowing this is the biggest stage I've performed on thus far.

(ELECTRONIC MUSIC)

(ELECTRONIC MUSIC)

(EXHALES DEEPLY)

Please let me find somebody.

# Talking away

# I don't know just

# What I'm saying

DELTA: Oh, my god! Whoo!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

GUY: Beautiful.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

That was amazing.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Hello! Hello. How are you?

I'm so good. What's your name? Where are you from?

My name is Mason. I'm 28 years old,

and I'm from Adelaide, South Australia.

Hey-hey! Adelaide!

(CHEERING) That's it.

Yes! Well, Mason,

everyone else has formed their teams.

Oh! Yeah.

OK. So I am your coach.

And I am so pleased with that. Thank you so much.

(CHEERING AND LAUGHTER)

(CHEERING AND LAUGHTER)

His dream come true. Really? Was it?

Yeah.

DELTA: That's... That's so amazing.

You were... You were phenomenal -

really. Really. Thank you so much.

It was highly disappointing to not have a space left in this moment.

But I loved your choices, and the way you swooped up

and then would come down to, sort of, a minor note in the chord.

It was... It was really, really great choices.

It shows great artistry. Thank you so much.

And you guys are gonna be a force to be reckoned with.

That was really special. Oh, definitely we are.

That's right!

Thanks so much, Kelly. No, I'm so delighted

to have you on my team, and I feel like I have a team of... of variety

to have you on my team, and I feel like I have a team of... of variety

and so many different, dynamic singers.

So you fit right on my team, and I'm so delighted

that you're with Team Kelly! Yeah!

(CHEERING)

Thank you. Thank you. Oh!

Well done. Oh, I'm so happy. (LAUGHS)

Everybody, give it up loud and clear for Team Kelly's Mason!

Give it up. Thank you so much, Kelly.

Yay!

(CHEERING) Thank you so much.

Come on down.

Oh, my gosh.

Oh, my gosh.

I'm so excited.

Thank you so much. For sure. For sure.

You have such an eloquent voice. It's so beautiful -

doesn't sound like anybody else's.

Oh, thank you. It's so awesome.

Thank you. Well done. Congratulations.

Hello. How are you going? Thank you.

That was amazing. Well done.

Thank you so much. Great job. Congratulations.

That was awesome. So good. Thank you.

Oh, good cuppage.

Thank you so much. I'll see you soon.

Thank you. Absolutely. Absolutely.

Thanks, guys.

(CHEERING)

What a range.

His range was insane. What a range.

His range was insane. What a range.

I was like, "Thank god you guys are done,

"'cause I know you would have tried to get him."

I definitely... I know you would.

I definitely would have. Without a lie, I would have.

GUY: He's cool.

That was really good.

(CHUCKLES) (FAMILY CHEER)

You got the girl!

I did. I did get the girl.

Ah! I'm so proud of you.

# Take

# Me

# On

# I'll

# Have one more. #

# Have one more. #

(CHEERING)

Whoo!

One more!

I have one more spot.

I would really love a female.

Some things are worth waiting for,

and he was absolutely worth the wait.

His voice was so beautiful. He belonged on Team Kelly.

# Storm clouds

# You give me

# Bad vibes

I'm gonna go with Kelly. Kelly.

BOTH: Kelly! Yeah! (LAUGHS)

# Bad nights with you. #

So far, Team Kelly is

full of variety this year, and that's what excites me the most.

I do have to go with Kelly. (LAUGHS)

(GROANS) Yeah!

(MOUTHS) Pow.

GEORGE: Oh, no, I knew that.

This time, it's like, "Bring me the rock."

# Comin', baby

# Gunnin' for you

# Pull my trigger Let me blow your mind. #

"Bring me the country."

# In the middle

# In the middle

(CHEERING)

# Welcome to the final show

# I hope you're wearing your best clothes. #

I have rare jewels.

# Hello It's so cool!

# Is this me you're looking for

# I can see it in your eyes (CHEERING)

# Bring me a higher love (CHEERING)

# Where's that higher love

# I keep thinkin' of? # (CHEERING)

I wanted to push myself this year.

# Bang, bang Into the room

# I know you want it Bang, bang

# All over you, yeah I'll let you have it

# Wait a minute Let me take you there. #

There are certain voices that I do need to turn for.

# It's hard

# For me to say (CHEERING)

# I'm jealous of the way

# I'm jealous of the way

And what do you know?

# You're happy without

It's Chris Sebastian, Guy's brother.

# Me. #

(CHEERING)

I honestly hit the jackpot with my All Star.

# I do my hair toss

# Check my nails

# Baby, how you feelin' # Feelin' good as hell

# Hair toss

(CHEERING)

# Don't wanna be

# All by myself

# Any more. #

I just feel like this year

is just the best of the best.

('KEEP RUNNING' BY LHITNEY)

# This is The Voice. #

(GROANS) (BLEEP).

(BLEEP). Sorry. (BLEEP).

(LAUGHS, SNORTS)

(JAUNTY MUSIC)

I auditioned in season three,

wearing these bad boys,

bright blue tights and some really questionable shorts.

(UPBEAT MUSIC)

I'm Kat Jade.

I'm 30 years old,

and I'm returning as an All Star.

(UPBEAT MUSIC)

I was in the inaugural Team Kylie,

so it's very special.

so it's very special.

And somehow made it to the top eight. (GASPS)

MAN: With her biggest performance ever on 'The Voice',

it's 23-year-old Kat Jade! (CHEERING)

So, these bad boys were my trademark in season three,

but apparently it's weird for a 30-year-old to wear cat ears.

Rude! (CAT SNARLS)

# You're thunder and lightning

# Electricity

# Flowing into me. #

# Flowing into me. #

Tonight, for my blind audition,

I'm singing 'If I Were a Boy'.

Classic Beyonce.

Beyonce and Destiny's Child was a huge part of my childhood.

Yeah, not at all nerve-racking

having Kelly Rowland sitting there behind a chair. Oh, my god.

# Burns like hell. #

Hopefully it goes down well.

It's on TV, so that's a bit scary.

(LAUGHS AND SNORTS)

# So much energy

# Burning into me

# Thunder and lightning. #

# Thunder and lightning. #

(BREATHES SHAKILY)

(EXHALES)

She's so nervous. She does look nervous, though, huh?

That was a nervous sigh.

Yeah.

Make it happen. Come on.

(CHUCKLES)

(INTRO PLAYS ON GUITAR AND STRINGS)

# If I were a boy

# If I were a boy

Hey.

# Even just for one day

Beautiful.

# I'd kick it with who I wanted

# 'Cause I'd never get confronted for it

# Because they'd stick up for me

# If I were a boy (CHEERING)

# I think I could understand

# I think I could understand

# How it feels to love a girl

# I swear I'd be a better man

So beautiful.

# 'Cause you don't listen to her (CHEERING)

# You don't care how it hurts

# Oh, whoa, oh

Can't be better than this.

# When you lose the one you wanted 'Cause you've...

She's, like, seriously good. # ..taken her for granted

# Everything you have

# Everything you have

# Got destroyed

# But you're just a boy. #

It's amazing.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

GUY: Wow.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Hello. 'Sup?

Hi. Oh, my god. It's Kelly Rowland.

(LAUGHTER)

What's your name?

You're an All Star. Wait,

you were on the show before?

Yeah, I'm Kat Jade. I'm from Adelaide,

Yeah, I'm Kat Jade. I'm from Adelaide,

South Australia. I was on season three.

Kylie Minogue was my coach.

Oh, wow.

(CHEERING) Man.

That was insane. Are you disappointed

at your vocal? Like, your vocal was crazy good.

Uh, I'm... actually thought it was not that good,

'cause I got very nervous. Uh...

That was so flawless, to me.

So much "ooh, nah". But I appreciate it,

coming from you, Mr Run King, so... Oh, my god.

Yeah, your... Thank you. (CHUCKLES)

Your voice is seriously, seriously good.

My team's full. Delta's is... Delta's team's full.

I think that would have been a four-chair-turning performance...

I think that would have been a four-chair-turning performance...

Oh! ..on any sane day.

It was amazing, but it was, like...

There's nothing we can do.

But you've just had another moment

on one of the biggest TV shows in Australia.

I know. Thank you so much, 'The Voice'. Thank you.

People have seen you sing, and... (CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Some people will disagree with, you know,

the choices we've had to make,

but I want you to enjoy what you just did.

Thanks, mate. Appreciate it. It was fantastic.

Yeah, really good. Well, here's the thing. I mean,

I heard this moment in your voice that was, like,

really awesome, but I still felt like you were holding back.

I feel like I was missing some emotion out of the vocal.

I feel like I was missing some emotion out of the vocal.

I really, really was, like, rooting for you, because I want

another female on my team so bad.

Sorry. (LAUGHS) No, no, no. Please.

And I don't want you to do that either, but I do want

you to come back, because I hear the power behind your voice,

and I hear how dope you are. Oh, thank you.

So this better not be the last time we see you,

and I know that it won't be,

because you feel like you don't mind doing the work.

I'm writing music at the moment and releasing an EP, so it's just...

Congratulations. Yeah, just trying...

Congratulations. Yeah, just trying...

..trying to get myself out there.

GUY: Yeah. It's taken a long time.

I'm 30 years old now, so... (CHEERING)

It's alright. By the way, it's alright if it takes time.

The thing is you wanna present your best self to anybody.

For sure. It's taken me five,

almost six years... actually, six years for me to do my next album,

and guess what? I'm finally ready.

I'm so excited. But it had to be... It's all good.

But it had to be on my terms. You know what I mean?

Yeah, of course. And when you present yourself,

you want it to be absolutely perfection, so I completely get it.

And you'll prepare, and it'll just get better from here,

And you'll prepare, and it'll just get better from here,

and I'm looking forward to seeing that.

Thanks so much, Kelly. Thank you. For sure. For sure.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Thank you. It's so nice to meet you. For sure.

PS - 'Stole' changed my life.

Oh... Just... thank you. (CHUCKLES)

Oh, thank you so much.

It was lovely to meet you. It's a pleasure.

You, too, as well. Thank you.

(GROANS)

She's good.

That was good. Huh? No, she was good.

Yeah, she was good.

Ah! (LAUGHS)

You OK? Yeah.

Come here. Oh. Oh.

I'm going to take it on board and just...

try not to hold back when I release my music, so...

I can't believe I talked to Kelly Rowland. (LAUGHS)

I just wanna feel something.

I just wanna feel something.

I'm waiting to feel something emotionally.

I'm waiting for it to hit me hard in my chest,

where I just have no choice but to press that buzzer.

I just... I'm not there yet.

And we've been here for a while, I know,

but we're gonna be here until we get it.

DELTA: It's taking a little while for Kelly to decide,

so it's that time of the day where we need to have a sausage sizzle.

so it's that time of the day where we need to have a sausage sizzle.

So long. It's insane how long Kelly takes.

Did you get onions? It's trying to be a hot dog, right?

Kinda. It's like an Australian sandwich...

It's a sausage sizzle. You guys don't do...?

You guys don't do sausage sizzles? A sausage sizzle? No.

It looks like a big willy in a sandwich. (CHUCKLES)

(CHUCKLES)

DARREN: Coming up,...

Hey! My name is Sapphire.

My name is Wolf Winters.

..the fight for Kelly's final spot intensifies.

If Kelly didn't turn her chair, it would be a little bit

of a kick to the guts.

of a kick to the guts.

Stepping out on that stage is going to be one of

the most challenging things I've ever done.

Do you see what you started?

We'll figure it out.

And Guy goes rogue. GEORGE: Gonna rewrite the rules.

Don't make me look like the bad guy.

You're the one ain't following the rules.

# This is The Voice. #

# This is The Voice. #

Howdy. (CHUCKLES) MAN: Hello, mate. Come take a seat.

Hold that nice and tight to your head. Yeah. Alright, then.

Hold that nice and tight to your head. Yeah. Alright, then.

Yep.

Wolf, you've got that voiceover voice!

(LAUGHS) Let's hope it's a little bit more than that!

Hi. My name's Wolf Winters.

I'm 31 years old and I'm from Melbourne, Victoria.

Yeah, I'd say that my voice is fairly unique.

I don't know how it ended up this way. It just did. (LAUGHS)

My biological parents led really difficult lives.

They had, uh, numerous issues. They were in and out of jail.

They had, uh, numerous issues. They were in and out of jail.

My biological mother was on heroin at the time, as she was pregnant

and that is, uh, what led to her inability, or incapacity,

to take care of me.

I luckily ended up being a quite healthy baby,

which isn't always the case for people like me.

I was put into foster care as an infant.

You know, I spent a lot of my youth having my voice shut down,

You know, I spent a lot of my youth having my voice shut down,

having it silenced.

It remained that way for a very long time,

up until my adult years, you know?

I'd been stifled for a long time.

I suppose music was like a beacon of hope for me.

And the older I got, the more I realised

that, you know, it's something that can pull you from that darkness,

from those terrible times,

from those terrible times,

create something new.

Stepping out on that stage is going to be

one of the most challenging, uh, but one of the most important things

that I've ever done.

I've never stepped up, in anything in my life.

I've always been in the dark,

because after all of these years,

I never let anyone hear me, the true me,

and... now I think I'm ready.

(MELANCHOLY PIANO MELODY PLAYS)

# Hello, darkness My old friend...

(CHEERING)

That is pretty down low.

# I've come to talk with you again

# Because a vision softly creeping

# Left its seeds while I was sleeping... #

# Left its seeds while I was sleeping... #

Cool sound.

# And the vision... #

Guy's digging it, big time. He can't turn, though.

# ..that was planted in my brain

# Still remains

# Within the sound... #

Wow.

# Of silence... #

Wow.

# "Fools," I said, "You do not know

# "Silence like a cancer grows..." #

# "Silence like a cancer grows..." #

Oh, man, this is good!

# "Hear my words that I might teach you... #

Amazing. If you do not turn...

# "Take my arms that I might reach you"

# But my words, like silent raindrops, fell... #

Oh, come on, Kelly!

# And echoed in the sound... #

# And echoed in the sound... #

(CHEERING)

# Of silence. #

(CHEERING)

Wait. You can't do that.

How is that possible? He turned!

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

Guy... What are you doing?

You're full. You can't have this man anyway.

Um, I... My team is full. Yeah.

WOLF: OK! Yeah.

No say. No, uh...

No say. No, uh...

I just can't believe you didn't turn around for that.

That is... I... I'm...

I'm looking for something specif...

How you gonna tell me what to look for

for my team?

(LAUGHTER)

What's your name? Wolf. Yeah.

DELTA: Wolf? WOLF: Yeah. Hi.

I mean, I'm not surprised that your talking voice sounds like that.

(LAUGHS)

Um, look...

I... I just think your voice is so unique...

(CHEERING, APPLAUSE) ..and so crazy good

and I...

Are cheating. You're cheating.

I'm not cheating. I just... You are cheating.

I don't know if I can turn for you but I...

No, that's alright, man. I understand.

Unless we can all do it.

If we could all do it, great.

There's some... there'd be a lot I had to lose that I'd like.

I had to give you a chair-turn anyway.

Wolf, can you give us one sec?

Hey. That's the executive producer.

What happened?

I just thought he was amazing,

so I don't know...

The problem we have is that unless I can get Kelly to take him,

we potentially have to tell him that he's not through anymore.

we potentially have to tell him that he's not through anymore.

(LAUGHTER)

OK. I'm sorry. I just...

Alright. Yeah.

I'm not trying to, like, rattle the cage or anything.

It's all good. Let me talk to Kell for a minute.

Well, I want to know what's going on over here.

DELTA: You did amazing. You did really, really amazing.

(CHEERING) WOLF: Thank you.

I'll be back to you in two seconds, my friend.

No worries. Thank you.

How long have you been singing for?

Kind of my whole life but not in front of an audience like this!

It is a bit nuts.

And are you a... This is one of the most...

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Is rock your thing?

I think rock, blues, folky kind of stuff.

PRODUCER: I think the issue that we've got

is that the artist has now had a chair turn.

Yeah.

So is there any chance you'll take him through to your team?

Me? (CHEERING)

Well, otherwise we potentially have to turn around and tell him

that he's not through anymore.

What... There's no way you'd take him?

I just really wanted a female. I do. I do.

AUDIENCE: (CHANTS) Let him through! Let him through!

(CHANTING CONTINUES) Yes!

(CHANTING CONTINUES) Yes!

Let him stay! Let him stay! Let him stay!

(CHANTING CONTINUES)

You're, like... It's not fair.

We can't, like... we can't break his heart.

PRODUCER: I've gotta go and check, anyway,

whether this is even possible.

(CHEERING)

DELTA: I'm so sorry. Me too.

That's alright.

PRODUCER: OK. I'm just going back to the back room.

(LAUGHTER)

(LAUGHTER)

Do you see what you started?

We'll figure it out!

(LAUGHTER)

So I... I personally didn't turn.

Literally, I have one more person to get on my team...

Yeah. ..and I didn't turn

because I just don't have enough females on my team

and I want some more women.

Yeah, that's all good.

So, but you sound amazing. I love the texture of your voice.

You sound fantastic.

I just know what I'm looking for.

All good. Thank you.

But he, on the other hand,

is not playing by the rules.

And I'm gonna... So you wouldn't take...

No. No. You wouldn't take him at all?

# This is The Voice. #

# This is The Voice. #

You sound amazing. I love the texture of your voice.

You sound fantastic.

I just know what I'm looking for.

All good. Thank you.

But he, on the other hand,

is not playing by the rules.

is not playing by the rules.

And I'm gonna... It's... So you wouldn't take...

No. No. You wouldn't take him at all?

First of all, don't make me look like the bad guy.

You the one ain't following the rules.

That's fair enough.

We all would love another chair turn.

I... Look, I...

No? Why can't I have one?

In fact, I'll have two. I want to change the rules completely.

How about three?

At the end of the day, we either... you...

So, I've just heard back.

Part of the philosophy of The Voice

Part of the philosophy of The Voice

is always that we put the artist first...

Of course. DELTA: Absolutely.

And I think the stipulation has to be

that Guy has a Battle with three people in it, with Wolf,

and that he can only take one through to the next round.

Oh! So he doesn't get additional...

So he loses two. That's a good idea.

I think that's a great idea.

How do you guys feel? I think that's fair enough.

Yes, it's totally fair.

Let me talk to Guy for a second and...

We'll be two secs.

Well, this is a first. (WOLF LAUGHS)

PRODUCER: I've had a chat with the coaches

and everyone thinks, like, the best thing to do

and everyone thinks, like, the best thing to do

is to let Wolf come through to your team,

um, and then you'll just have to have a three-way Battle in the next round,

where you send two home.

Alright.

Do you do voiceovers?

Mmm, no. You should!

You have, like, such... Almost famous, right?

PRODUCER: Hey, guys, do you mind?

I'm just gonna get you back in your seats

and Guy's gonna explain what's going on.

Thank you. Oh, cool.

Oh, he's gonna rewrite the rules. Like Kelly did last year.

OK. That's enough out of you. (LAUGHS)

What's happened is,

What's happened is,

these guys have talked.

I'm sorry, p.s., to put you in this position,

'cause I think your voice is... That's all good.

..really dope and I really like it.

I love the unique nature of it.

Um...

The good news is... (SCATTERED APPLAUSE)

..you're gonna go through to the Battles.

(CHEERING)

Yes! Yes.

Mate, well done.

And welcome to Team Guy.

Thank you so much. KELLY: Yeah!

Oh... Thank you.

Oh... Thank you.

And, um... DELTA: Congratulations.

WOLF: (LAUGHS) Thank you so much, man. I really appreciate it.

And I'm sorry. I'm sorry. No, that's alright.

Congratulations, my friend.

Congratulations. Can't wait to see you perform again.

Good luck. Good luck. Welcome to the... welcome to this circus.

Pleasure, man. Pleasure, for sure. Thank you.

Your voice is incredible.

Oh! Should be an interesting season, huh?

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Yes!

Well done, man.

You did it. You did it. (LAUGHS) Oh, my god!

I won't do it again.

(LAUGHTER)

DELTA: Spinning!

DARREN: Welcome to The Voice. Thank you.

That's a Voice first! (LAUGHS) Yeah.

God! You started off causing all this controversy now.

(LAUGHS)

I pushed my button because I thought,

I pushed my button because I thought,

"That's a... he's an incredible singer."

Like, that wasn't like any voice we normally hear on...

And it wasn't gimmicky.

No pressure at all.

Guy basically just... almost lost his job for you.

(LAUGHS)

I'm so glad it panned out for you, man. That's great.

Thank you so much.

GUY: 13 is normally an unlucky number

but today it's my lucky number

and I've got Wolf

and he's just adding to how interesting Team Guy is,

because he's seriously unique.

Oh, my god.

Oh, my god.

(LAUGHS)

KELLY: Wolf's voice was spectacular.

No-one sounds like him.

It was the most unique voice

I feel like we've, like, really heard this year.

Not what I'm looking for right now,

because I just really want something that just is especially for me.

I haven't got my emotional, just, hit yet

and I'm waiting for that.

Ooh, yeah. There we go.

Ooh, yeah. There we go.

There they go. Got it.

Oh, and... There we go. Thank you.

I would describe myself as bubbly,

friendly and upbeat.

Maybe a bit too much for some people but that's OK. I'm not for everybody.

I used to be a diver.

I competed in the nationals as a junior.

I competed in the nationals as a junior.

I trained, like, five days a week and I was very serious about it.

But when I started singing lessons

and in the choir and all that sort of stuff,

I eventually realised that I loved music more.

Mum cried for, like, three weeks

when I quit diving to become a singer.

I would love to see a chair turn

by the amazing Kelly.

I love her.

She's just got so much love and life and passion.

I feel like I really click with her.

If Kelly didn't turn her chair tonight,

it would be a little bit of a kick to the guts.

Please turn, Kelly. Please?

Oh, Penny! Ah!

DARREN: I feel like I met her before.

You might have. She gets around a bit.

Does she? (OTHERS LAUGH)

That's a lovely thing to say on national television!

Singing-wise! Singing-wise. Yeah.

# I was born in a thunderstorm

# I grew up overnight

# I played alone I played on my own

# And I survived

# Mmm-mmm-mmm I wanted everything I never had... #

# Mmm-mmm-mmm I wanted everything I never had... #

Come on, Kelly. Hit the button.

She's jiving it. She's getting really into it.

# Like the love that comes with light

# I wore envy and I hated that

# But I survived... # Good voice.

# I had a one-way ticket to the place where all the demons go... #

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

# Where the wind don't change

# And nothing in the ground will ever grow

# No hope, just lies

# And you're taught to cry into your pillow

# And you're taught to cry into your pillow

# But I survived

# I'm still breathing

# I'm still breathing

# I'm still breathing

# I'm still breathing

# I'm alive... #

(CHEERING)

# I'm alive

# I'm alive

# I'm alive

# I'm alive. #

Oh, my god!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Oh!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE CONTINUE)

Hello, hello! Hi!

What is your name? Where are you from, lovely woman?

Hi. My name's Penelope Pettigrew.

I'm 31, from Sydney.

Oh!

(CHEERING)

First of all, Penelope, I am the only one right now

First of all, Penelope, I am the only one right now

who needs one more person on my team

and can I just be very honest with you?

That was a lovely, lovely, powerful performance.

You did nothing wrong.

I'm just really waiting to just feel something, like, really emotional

just come all over me right now

and you did nothing wrong.

You have a beautiful, powerful, awesome voice

and I'm so happy that you came today.

Thank you. You're actually who I wanted.

Thank you. You're actually who I wanted.

Oh! (GUY CHUCKLES)

Well, that's just great, isn't it?

(LAUGHTER) I'm a jerk.

That's OK. No, no, no, you're cool.

(APPLAUSE) Hey, Penelope.

Hey. What a voice!

Thank you. My goodness.

My team is full.

(LAUGHTER) It's really full!

Um... It's really full. (LAUGHS)

I just think tackling Sia, especially that Sia song,

is just no mean feat.

That... it is ridiculously difficult to sing that song

and you just conquered it.

and you just conquered it.

It's phenomenal.

You absolutely hit it out of the park.

You should be so proud of yourself, as Guy said,

so congratulations.

Do me a favour. Please come back next year.

Please come back next year. Thank you. I'd love to.

You are absolutely remarkable.

Remarkable.

(APPLAUSE)

Thanks so much, guys.

It's been lovely. Oh!

Thank you so much. Thank you so much.

Thank you. See you later.

I really appreciate your time.

Oh, god.

Oh, god.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

I just can't help but to feel

like I just let a really, really good one go.

You know what I mean? I just let a really good one go.

Her voice was so beautiful.

So proud of you. It was amazing.

They've gotta have a bigger voice than that to belong on your team?

But it's not necessarily about a big voice.

I have a team full of big voices, you know what I mean?

Like, all the ladies have big voices.

It's just I...

You want heart. You want emotion. I do.

You want to feel something. Like... Huh!

Yeah, fair enough. And if it doesn't come?

It has to come, Guy.

Are you setting the bar, like, too high?

It has to come. It's gonna come for me.

If it doesn't come... It's gonna come!

If it doesn't come... It's gonna come!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

VOICEOVER: Take an exclusive backstage look

at all your favourite artists.

The first time that I actually tried to sing something

it was with my best friend at recess.

What was I singing?

'Sometimes I Run', by Britney Spears!

I don't know, man. Like, I felt so...

Hi. My name is Sapphire.

I'm 16 years old and I'm from Sydney, Australia.

My whole life has revolved around music

and around my family.

Yeah, I believe I got my musical gift from my dad.

He would always walk around the house, singing, dancing,

anything like that.

He was just... never dull.

In late July last year,

I lost my dad to heart disease.

It was only me and my sister when it happened

and we called 000

and an ambulance came and we thought, "He's gonna be OK."

Later that night, um,

we lost him.

It was really hard... (SNIFFLES)

..considering that he was always there.

He would never leave my side.

He was my best friend.

(MOURNFUL MUSIC)

WOMAN: But not having your husband there and their father,

it completely changes everything.

It's like every performance that we do for Sapphire,

every concert, every music opportunity she's had,

he's been there every step of the way.

If he saw her right now,

there are no words to describe how proud he would be.

It's going to be hard, knowing that he's not here.

But he's... here in my heart.

And his flame will never go out.

Ever.

(UPLIFTING MUSIC)

How are you feeling? I'm nervous.

Yeah. And how's Sapphire feeling?

Very nervous. Like, she does a few gigs but this is the biggest.

This is the biggest so far. Yes.

Go, Sapphire! Whoo!

Go, Sapphire! Whoo!

# These four lonely walls have changed the way I feel

# The way I feel

# I'm standing still... #

Mmm.

Mmm.

# And nothing else matters now You're not here

# So where are you?

# I've been calling you

# I'm missing you

# So where else can I go?

# Where else can I go... # (CHEERING)

# Chasing you

# Chasing you... # I mean...

# Chasing you... # I mean...

# Memories turn to dust

# Please don't bury us

# I got you

# I got you

# I ain't runnin', runnin',

# Runnin', runnin', runnin'... #

Come on!

# Runnin', runnin', runnin' from myself no more

# Together we will win it all

# Together we will win it all

# So I ain't runnin', runnin'

# Runnin', runnin', runnin'

# Runnin', runnin', runnin' from myself no more

# I'm ready to face it all

# If I lose myself

# I lose it all. #

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

So good. What great news.

Her dad would be proud.

Oh, my god.

First off, can I just come hug you?

Yes! Oh!

(CHEERING)

Oh!

Ah. What's your name?

My name is Sapphire. Sapph... Oh, my gosh, Sapphire?

And your name is Sapphire? Oh, my gosh!

I waited the whole day for a rare gem called a Sapphire.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

I don't know if you notice but they all have their teams.

I don't know if you notice but they all have their teams.

(CHUCKLES)

And I finally have mine

and I'm so happy.

Yeah!

Hi, Sapphire. Hello.

Wow.

What a voice!

Incredible. How old are you?

I'm 16 years old.

You're 16?

You know why... you know why that's shocking,

is because, for you to connect to that song so well, at your age,

is unheard-of

is unheard-of

but you just put your heart on the line there

and everyone in this room felt it.

Um, the song means a lot to me because it...

the lyrics talk about how...

I was at a breaking point because I've lost my dad...

and it's been...

very hard, healing and to...

being...

(WEEPS) DELTA: You got this.

(WEEPS) DELTA: You got this.

You got this.

(CHEERING)

It's been really hard,

because it's only been me, my mum and my little sister...

and...

we're still healing but...

we're still healing but...

I'm so sorry.

My dad had a massive impact on my life.

He was there every performance I performed at.

And to be here now, honouring him...

I just hope I made him proud.

You made him proud. Thank you.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

You made him proud.

(APPLAUSE CONTINUES)

Take a deep breath in. Me and you need to take a deep breath in.

Ah! You are so brave and so beautiful

and I'm so happy you came today.

And thank you for trusting this process

and please trust me, 'cause I got you.

Yep. I've got you.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Thank you. Oh, my god!

Y'all give my Sapphire a big round of applause.

Y'all give my Sapphire a big round of applause.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Come on.

I need to get my shoes.

That was beautiful. Wow.

SAPPHIRE: Thank you so much.

DELTA: That was really incredible.

Where do you go? Where do you go?

I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Ha!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Oh!

So, your family's here?

So, your family's here?

Yes. Oh, I'm so excited!

Your family's here! I get to meet them!

That's it. That's... that's the end of Blinds.

For me, it's been the most fun Blinds I've ever done.

Whoo!

Oh!

Aww! Hello!

Are you mom? I'm Katie.

Nice to meet you, Katie.

She is so special. Thank you. Thank you.

And I promise, promise, promise

to take really good care of her on this journey.

Thank you. Appreciate it. I promise.

Thank you. Appreciate it. I promise.

Aww. Oh, my gosh, she's gonna make me cry all over again.

Hi, little one.

Aww, you're gonna make me cry.

I'm so proud.

Welcome to Team Kelly.

Amazing outfit, by the way. I'm sorry - I had to compliment it!

No, it's OK! It's OK.

Well, I look forward to working with you, Sapphire.

Thank you so much. For sure.

I'll see you soon! Yeah!

Bye till then.

Oh!

Come on. In you come.

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Team Kelly is done.

Yay!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE)

Yes!

Yeah!

(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE CONTINUE)

I left you hanging.

(ALL LAUGH)
