rather than stuff it through the letter box.

- 'Well, what is it?' - I think, it's an invitation.

Come, come, Paddington. Don't keep us on tender hooks.

- It's from Sir Huntley Martin. - The marmalade king.

The gentleman Paddington met at the Porchester Restaurant.

(Judy) 'It's an invitation

to his marmalade factory.'

'to the after ceremony tour of the factory.'

Barely enough time to get you cleaned up.

to deal with the likes of an unemployed bear.

We're opening a new factory building

in the main factory building.

'Oh, Sir Huntley will have our ends for this.'

He's gotta be somewhere.

(Paddington) 'Ah, this could work out

quite well after all.'

(male #2) 'There he is!'

He's one of those bottles.

Well, we've nothing to do, but look through the whole bunch.

Oh, it's no use, Fred, he's gotten clean away.

Away he got, but not clean, I'll wager.

[instrumental music]

Ow! Run for your lives!

It's the creature from the orange lagoon.

Oh, no wonder he ran off terrified.

I could have sworn he was here.

Are we supposed to wait all day for the so-called experts?

Relax, Arthur, I'm sure that Sir Huntley's

expert will be here soon.

But a bear? What is science coming to when we have

to depend on the opinions of bears?

But, Arthur, who better to taste marmalade than a bear?

(Arthur) 'Norman, have you seen a bear?'

If the barrels won't come to me, I'll have to go to the barrels.

It's a good thing bears are good at climbing.

Oh, clearly that wasn't the easy way either.

This is much more like it.

Those other ideas were obviously ridiculous.

Now to clean those barrels.

Except I forgot to bring the hose.

Uh-oh. Oh, this doesn't look good at all.

I guess the only easy way to do this is the hard way.

I think, it's time for a cocoa break.

[slurping]

How am I ever going to get those barrels down to clean them?

Well, the foreman said start at the bottom.

I better finish this job before it starts raining.

I've been the marmalade king for 50 years now.

And this is a day I've long awaited.

Is it possible that this won't be the most glorious day

in my factory's history?

In those 50 years, I've searched long and hard for the perfect

most succulently inspired recipe for marmalade.

'In that search, I've spared no expense'

'nor dodged any hardship.'

Amazing weather. Not a cloud in the sky.

My search took me to the ends of the Earth.

Marmalade through Fiji, Machu Picchu

and even the South Pole were gathered and tested.

Where can Paddington be?

He's probably off somewhere testing samples.

I'd better hurry if I want to finish.

I know he'll be upset if he misses this ceremony.
