Original subtitles

I'm looking at a lot of faces on my wall. Someone is missing.

It's not just Luan's money that's gone. Three more empty accounts.

It's over a billion and a half. It's Finn Wallace.

He fucked us all.

You don't get to see a penny until I know my baby's safe.

Whoever took your money took ours as well.

Mosi won't wait any longer.

(GLASS SHATTERING)

The attack on Lale, that was your blunt hand, yes?

That was my strong hand.

What do you want to do?

Take what he most cherishes.

There's someone else above all this.

We need to figure out who it is.Our investors killed Finn because he was leaving.

They are prepared to let the business continue

on condition that Alexander runs the Wallace organisation.

Why the fuck have you got a UC following me? I need him pulled out.

I don't care who he works for. I'll set him up, you can arrest him.

If I ever see you again, I'll kill you!

Now take your scumbag father away.

I don't want you going near Shannon Dumani ever again.

Understood? It's you and me now.

They'll come after you.

(SIREN)

OK.

(CLICK)

(CLICK)

(GRUNTS)

(PHONE RINGS OUT)

(VIBRATES)

Yes?The Wallaces, they're on the run.

(SCREECHING TYRES)

(SIREN)

(BARKING DOG IN DISTANCE)

(PUTS KEY IN LOCK)

Shannon?

Shannon? It's me.

Looking for somewhere to hide?

I thought you were going to take root out there in those bushes.

I came to see Shannon.

I wanted to tell her why I didn't leave with her last night.

I had to stay. Sean was all over the place -

I am very good at reading people.

It's what's kept me alive. But you?

I don't get you.

Everybody has to like you.

You never seem to pick a side.

I just came to see that Shannon and Danny were OK.

They're fine. Where are Sean and Marian?

I don't know.

And Billy?

I'm going to pick a side for you.

And it's not the side I'm on.

Key.

(DOOR CLOSES)

Go back upstairs and look after Danny.

Our job is very simple. To find the money.

We can do that. We're good at hiding it. We know where to look.

And one thing I can tell you for certain is that Finn Wallace didn't take it with him.

This firm is not going under.

Confidence is what will see us through.

And I have total confidence in each and every one of you.

Find that money, it will convince our investors and everyone else.

Yeah? Thank you.

Yes. Yes, I can assure you that's all happening. Absolutely.

100%, yeah.

OK.

Thank you.

Do you know how I spend all my time now?

All of it.

It's convincing people that not only should your son be allowed to run the business,

that he should even be kept alive.

Same goes for you,

your daughter,

your grandson.

And you?

If anyone can find where Finn hid that money, it's Alexander.

Recovering the money is the first thing, Ed!

What the investors want is an assurance of order.

No more dead bodies on the street, no more chaos. Confidence!

And we can give you that. Once Sean is out of the way.

There must be somewhere... There must be somewhere that they would hide out!

You know, not knowing where Sean is...

..I wouldn't stand out here.

Marian will be strategic. But Sean...

If he thinks it's all over, he'll be more dangerous than ever.

(FINN'S VOICE) You're a Wallace. A Wallace!

(FINN'S VOICE ECHOES) Everything hangs on our name.

(WHIRRING)

Billy still isn't answering.

Nor is Jacqueline.

What?

It's us living like gypsies now.

Holed up in one of our own fucking developments.

Should have been me blowing his brains out.

You know, I can't even say his name.

I set light to someone.

Threw them off a fucking building.

For him.

They'll hit back.

At who?

The Dumanis?

That's not who we're up against.

Fighting people we'll never find, never see.

Can't even put a name to them.

Then we go after those we can see.

And that is the Dumanis.

They know who these people are.

We stick to our plan. We go back to Ireland -

And then what? Come back here with another one of your armies?

To do what? Take down the City of London?

If that's what it takes, yes.

We found Sean Wallace's sister.

Satellite image shows a farmhouse.

That's the location. Go get her now.

And Leif, keep her alive.

Use her as bait.

Just get this done.

We need the Wallaces gone.

Quiet. And keep it simple.

Yes, sir.

(SIGHS)

(GRAVEL CRUNCHES)

(DOORBELL)

(TRIES DOOR)

(BREATHES HEAVILY)

Jacqui.

(BREATHES HEAVILY)

I've come to get you.

You need to leave here.

No.

I'm not going without you.

She sent you?

I just want you to be safe.

Look at us, Billy.

Is this safe?

Billy.

She's left a hundred messages.

There's no way I'm going back to Ireland with her.

I've the best care in the world lined up here.

This is where I'm going to give birth to my child.

Jacqui, if I can find you,

the people who are hunting us will be able to find you too.

Why would they?

I'm not a Wallace.Yes, you are.

They'll use you.

Our mother is using this,

like she always does, to drag me back.

She's always dealt in fear.

It's her only commodity.

Billy, I'm not one of you.

I'm sorry.

(THUD)

Thanks for trusting me, Jacqui.

It's just to be safe.

(THUD) What the fuck?

This place was supposed to be empty.

Be careful.Stay here.

(DOOR SQUEAKS)

(THUD)

(THUD)

(PANTS)

(FINN'S VOICE) You're a Wallace.

A Wallace!

(ECHOES) Everything hangs upon our name.

You can build an empire.

Be a king.

Do you want that, son?

Yeah.

Don't fucking yeah me!

(GRUNTS)

Why?

Why? Why?

Why?

Why? Why? Why?

Why?

Why?

Why? Why?

Why?

Be a king.

Good night, Dad.

(FLUTTER)

(COOS)

Vicky's not coming.

Is she OK?

No, she's in deep shit.

But not as deep as you.

You set up a good cop.

I don't know what you're talking about. What cop? Don't you fucking dare.

This thing you and Vicky set up to pull out Anthony went wrong.

They sniffed Anthony out before Vicky could get to him.

Don't do it!Let it go! Hold your fire!

Drop your weapon! (SCREECHING TYRES)

Colin! Get in the fucking van!

Come on!

The only reason I'm not arresting you right now is that the Wallaces have him hostage.

Last chance, let him go!Don't fucking think about it, bitch!

Go! Go!

Anthony!

(GRUNTS)

He's a good, decent man.

One of mine.

And he wasn't fucking one of the criminals he'd been sent to investigate.

I'll find him. And call it in.

As soon as.

This family is falling apart. And I'm the only one with access to both sides.

The rift between the Wallaces and Dumanis.

Finn wasn't the hero Sean thought he was and it's fucking with his head.

And when this facade crumbles, because that's exactly what it is,

I'll be there to see the real power behind them. No, you won't.

And you never will, you self-important prick.

You think the rest of us don't know how the world works.

You're going to do one thing, and that's help me save a good man.

Then maybe, on a rare day,

you might just be able to live with yourself.

Fuck!

Sean, you're all right. He's been following me and Shannon. It's being dealt with.

Let me deal with it. You gave him to me.It's not our priority.

If Anthony is a police officer, we need to find out - They'll get it out of him.

They're good at that. Is he coming with us?

Yes.Let's go.Sean!

Sean, let me do this!

The last thing you need is more death. Especially a copper!

Elliot, we need to get what's left of my family to safety.

Mum, you go on ahead. I'll be waiting at the helicopter for all of you.

Don't be long.

Keep trying Billy. And Jacqui.

Sean, you're going to get through this. I know you are.

And when you do, do you want all of this taken away from you by some cop?

Your mum's men, they're not going to ask the right questions.

I will. Anthony knows me.

All right.

Colin's got him at one of our construction sites.

All right.Get back here fast.

There's something I need to do.

You what? Wait a minute.

Jonathan Seaton Cox?

How long? A little over five years ago.

I've got a house, a car, rock solid ID.

Smackheads, we spend a lot of time...thinking.

Planning.

Of course, nothing ever happens, but...

I got you the same.

You planned for me?

Five years ago?

A new life.

Not being a Wallace.

If you want it.I want it.

My daughter wants it even more than I do.

Am I a...Seaton Cox as well?

Well, yeah.

You're my sister.

(KISS)

What's my first name?

Well, I was angry with you at the time.

Actually, we've got a fuck of a drive ahead of us.Jonathan?

What's my first name?

Arabella.

Arabella! Arabella Seaton Cox.

Look, they'll never find us.

Good.

(PHONE CHIMES)

(LIFT DINGS)

Mm.

Tariq?

All four of them. In Mosi's room.

Number 47.

(LIFT DINGS)

(CHATTER)

Around the corner. Number 47.

Tariq?Waiting for us.

(GROANING)

(PANTS)

(SCREAMING)

(SHOUTING)

Mosi, I delivered! I walk!

(GRUNTS)

You said I walk!

You said...I walk!

Mosi! Don't kill me!

Mosi! Don't kill me!

(SCREAMING)

(SCREAMING)

(WHIMPERS)

It's locked.

Open.

I said open.

Ah.

(GASPS) Bukoroshe, such a pretty thing.

(SPLUTTERS)

Ah. The traffic is too much.

Your wife says she'll be with you in ten minutes.

(LAUGHS)

(GRUNTS)

It's a shame the children are not with her.

(LAUGHS)(GRUNTS)

Aghh!

Yaah!

Aagghh!

Aaaghh!

(SCREAMS)

(POP)

(GROANS)

(PANTS)

(BREATHING HEAVILY)

Are you OK?!

(WHIMPERS)

(LIFT DINGS)

Everything will be OK.

I love you.

(LIFT MUZAK)

OK?

Can I come in?

Yeah.

They found some of the money.

250 million.

It was in the Caymans.

Finn really knew what he was doing.

Can you get it back?I already have.

Always the smartest one in the room.

There's still over a billion left to find. And that's only what we know about.

That should be enough to keep Jevan and the investors off our backs, for now.

No Sean?

And no sign of Marian or Billy either.

Letting them live would be a mistake.

That woman Finn was running off with.

Floriana?Mm.

What if he did set her up with an account?

Is there any way of getting her full name or more background?

Well, she died the same night as Finn.

You certain?Jevan told me.

I was thinking someone might have been smart enough to keep her alive.

As a way of getting to the money.

(BABY CRIES)

(CRYING)

(WHIMPERS)

I'm coming. I'm coming!

She's so beautiful!

Do you want to hold her?

Oh, come, my little one.

Little one, you're beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

Oh, my little one.

Do you want to help me wash her?

(WHIMPERS)Sshh!

You don't have to worry now.

As soon as my son returns,

and we have the money,

I promise you I will take care of your baby.

Like it was my own.

OK?

(SIREN)

Thank you for doing this.

Your grocery list.

Sean, if you do this, there will be no going back.

I'll have my men get this to you.

Let me know when everything's in place.

Then we go after Asif.

What have you promised them?

Promised?

What?

To whom? The people that you've sold me to.

Your dark arts friends. The ones who are making sure I'm streets ahead.

Where is this nonsense coming from? Because you'll want payback.

The very fact of my son being the mayor of London is my reward.

Can't you see that?

I come from nothing. Dirt poor!

I know hunger.

And the stability that is going to come from knowing

that there will be no sudden shocks,

no nonsense legislation,

and that London will be open for business to all.

As usual.

That...

..is the reward for everyone who has invested in you.

(MAN SCREAMS)

We can keep doing this all day!

(DRILL)Aagh!

Aaaghh!

Are you working alone?

Aaagh!

One last time! Are you working alone?

Aaaghh!

Aaaghh!

Stop! Put the drill down!

Put your hands on your head! Get down on your knees!

Fuck's sake, you too?! Fucking London, it's got more filth than crime.

Put it down!Fuck you!

Put it down! One less pig to worry about.

No! No, no, no!

Stick with me! Anthony, stay with me!

Hey! Hey!

No, no, no.

Coke on! Fuck!

Hey, Antony! Anthony, Anthony, Anthony!

Jesus fucking Christ! No, no, no!

I didn't tell them anything.

I know. Thank you.

Thank you, man. Just...

Just stay with me now. I've called it in. They know where we are.

Anthony. Anthony! Stay with me.

No! No! (CLANG)

(GURGLING)

(GROANING)

(SIREN)

Shit!

Sean, where are you, for God's sake?!

Let me know what's happening. Please.

Have you spoken to Billy and Jacqueline?

This isn't fair on me!

(SIGHS)

(BEEP)

Shit.

Come on, come on!

(KNOCK AT DOOR)

Hold on!

Hey.Hey.

Come in.Thank you.

So um...

So...this is where you live.

I can see why you always come to my place.

Yeah. Um...

Er... Thanks for coming round.

Come away with me.

Tonight.

You have to.I want to.

Then do it, Elliot.

It's too dangerous.

Oh, fuck off. I grew up in this life too, you know.

Hey. This isn't just about Sean and your dad, Shannon.

What are you talking about?

Yeah, he's a threat. He shot your dad in the leg.

And he might not have stopped there.

I...

There is something else out there.

What do you mean? Some other gangs? Which ones?

I...

I... I don't know exactly.

But there are people that Finn dealt with, higher up.

And I need to find out who they are.

Cos if I don't, Sean, no Sean, you and Danny will never be safe.

So what does that mean?It means...

It means you've got to go, Shannon.

I have to stay with Sean.

He's paranoid and he's on a mission.

If I abandon him now, I'm on his list.

And I can't defend you or Danny from him.

Or anyone else.This is bullshit!

Listen, listen. When you are safe...

When you are safe, I will come for you.

Until then...

..we can't be together.Why?

Why, Elliot?Because...

Because?

Is it because of them?

They... They...

They were my world.

Now you are.

That can't happen again.

I should never have let it get to this.

We didn't have a choice.

(PHONE RINGS)

Yeah?Hi.

Sean?

Is that you?

Working late?

Er... Yeah.

I'm recovering the money. I've found two lots now.

Hm. If anyone could, it was going to be you.

Well done.

Keeping those investors pleased.

# NESSUN DORMA

Sean, we can stop this.

You and me.

I know we can.

I've come round to understanding why my father did what he did.

Yeah?

They killed him before they knew he'd rob them, right?

Er... That came out afterwards, yeah.

They killed him because he'd had enough.

Like an old horse.

(THUNDER) And that's the job you just stepped into.

Or grabbed, with both hands.

Sean, what...

You can't take them on.

I know that, Alex.

You can't fight the invisible.

No-one can.

Go over to the window.

The one my dad used to look out of.

What do you see?

Our city. The one we said belonged to us.

That's what I'm looking at too.

Except I'm on the opposite side from you.

It's a different view.

A lot of those red dots out there are still ours.

We were good at building.

Still are, Sean.

Mm.

Good at taking them down too.

That's progress.

Confidence.

That's what everyone always says is important.

Keep everyone confident.

Business stops without it.

Yeah. Right.

The people who killed my father,

who tried to kill me,

from where I'm standing now,

I can't see them.

But I can see what they own.
