Let's go.

Let's run.

My daughter Jeong Hye

You passed out from drinking all night right? It's obvious.

You're not checking your phone because you're scared you'll be scolded right? Is that right?

I'm going to school now. I have a class in the afternoon. If you contact me in the morning, I can pick up.

If you wake up, call me back. I won't scold you. Please! Please...

Seoul 2017

What are you guys!

Let's live. Let's live. Let's live.

Min Joo... Min Joo...

Save me. Save me. Min Joo Hyeok, save me!

Did you get it?

-What's wrong with your head -You have bandaids in your car right?

Bandaids..Let me see

It's a big cut. You're gonna need to get that sewn up at the hospital. Want me to call the ambulance?

I can just go to a nearby hospital.

Get in, hurry.

I thought you said to go to a nearby hospital.

Since we're going, let's go to a general hospital.

Are you going to get some surgery done? Regular hospitals are good with injuries like yours too.

We're almost there, stop fussing. Just hurry and go.

Stop looking at me.

You'll die.

Me...

and you as well.

Aha.

What's so "Aha"?

You wanted to say "Honey, I'm hurt. Comfort me." to your wife.

Be quiet.

Oh, it's me. What are you doing?

I'm looking after a patient right now.

I'm going to your hospital right now.

- Oh? - I got hurt.

How badly? Where and how badly did you get hurt?

It just ripped a bit.

How? Is it serious? How bad is the blood loss?

It's nothing really. I just need a few sews.

You're really okay right?

I said I'm okay.

I'll call you when I'm almost there. Come down to the emergency room, I'll see you there.

Oh alright.

I have an urgent patient right now, so I might be a bit late. Just wait a bit.

Okay, it's nothing urgent. So just finish all your work and take your time coming down.

Okay.

Then I'll go slowly too.

Are you not going to go quickly? This brat.

Park Jin Ho

What happened?

Oh my god. How did this happen? Did someone hit you?

It's nothing much. I just bumped into something.

Tell me honestly.

With a bottle...

That's crazy. What kind of person...

You got scratched other places too.

Promise me.

My body is of higher priority than catching a criminal.

Okay.

-Sign. -Sign.

-Stamp. -Okay.

Don't just pretend to listen. Please don't get hurt.

At least with the thoughts of me.

I'll do that.

What are these people? How can they just leave the patient here like this?

Min Joo, can't you sew it up for me?

What do I do? An emergency just came in so I have to go straight to the operation room.

Really? There's nothing I can do then.

How can I stick a needle through you? My heart hurts so I can't.

Okay.

It hurt a lot right?

Yea, just a bit.

Don't get hurt again.

If things like this keep happening, I won't be able to work because I'll be so worried about you.

I'll talk to them before I leave. It's a big surgery so it'll take some time.

When you finish, just go home first.

Okay, but I have to come here once in a while.

Why would you come again?

I didn't know you looked this sexy in a doctor's gown.

You should've told me earlier that you were the family of our hospital staff. I'm sorry.

-No, it's okay. -I'll fix you up quickly.

Please clear the VIP room as soon as possible!

Mayor, why are your hands so cold?

-No, no. -You work too hard.

No, no don't worry about me. Work hard!

Hey, it's been a long time.

I'm trying to look young. Give me this one.

Cheers for Book-Chun-Si!

Cheers!

Good, good!

I finished right now.

In surgery

Contact me after you're finished. I'll be waiting.

Let's go home together.

Book-Chun-Si Jang Bumho's house

What brings you here?

Mayor...

What's the matter?

My daughter says that she doesn't want to live.

She won't drink a sip of water.

She says she'll just die.

Please help me.

Where is Gi Seo?

He says that he'll miss today because of work at his company.

S-spare me.

Spare me please.

The matter on whether a person lives or dies isn't decided by a person.

Please save me.

This is the first time I came here, so I didn't know.

I'll go back to the police and tell them again - that I was mistaken.

That I falsely reported.

Shhh.

You should've said that you didn't want to before.

Before you liked it.

But why are you now, making me feel shameful.

Who is it? The person who's said to have assaulted Eun Changsoo's daughter.

Tae Song resort's chairman Yoon Dongshik's oldest son.

Yoon Dongshik's son?

Yes. He seems to have hauled a bartender at Spy hotel into a room.

And done wrong to her.

Then he should be punished by the law.

That is.. Chairman Yoon Dongshik is former president Goo Yongchan's meal ticket.

He went through the line of Prosecutors and told them to let him out.

My words are correct, right?

Yes.

Just because his father is Goo Yong Chan's money source, we have to cover for his crimes.

Goo Yongchan is that great?

These are my thoughts.

What would God's thoughts be?

Heads or tails?

Let's go with heads.

If heads comes out, God's thoughts are the same as mine.

And if tails comes out, my thoughts and God's thoughts are different.

Alright, I wonder what God thinks.

I'm too nervous to check.

Here. You look at it first.

Why?

God says to spare your life.

He hauled the girl who resisted to the hotel room.

When things didn't go the way he wanted, he assaulted the girl to the point where she couldn't walk.

I've tried reporting to the police and reasoning with the prosecutor.

But they said that it was because of our girl.

Not the guy, but because our girl did wrong.

What rule in this world can ever be like that.

What should we do about this incident?

This man's father was someone under my father when he was chief police.

And when my father was the mayor, his father worked as a small government worker for 20 years.

He's someone who is on the same boat as us.

Shouldn't we do something for this man also?

But it isn't like we can secretly go and hit that guy to death.

That's not the kind of answer that the chairman wants.

Frankly, with Goo Yong Chan behind this, what use is the law?

Isn't that so Attorney General Choi?

Yes. And also, it has already been decided so it's kind of hard to go back and change.

President Lee, what do you think about some media play?

Yes, I'll write some articles.

But wouldn't it be hard to overturn the case?

Hey, Gyu Ho.

Use the Bukcheon Marine company name and compensate through employee benefits.

No father, this isn't the solution that the chairman wants.

Then get some gangsters and go kill him!

Hey, but do you think Goo Yongchan is gonna stand still?

You're cutting off the source of his funds.

What if we dig out his corruptions.

That is possible.

I will try talking about it with the reporters.

Sit down.

Chungsoo, how long has it been since we last drank together?

It's been a while.

Your daughter's name was Moon Haeun.

Haeun was it, right?

Yes.

You brought your daughter to our company's foundation day.

And I said this kid looks so handsome.

But I was embarrassed when you said it was a daughter.

Do you remember?

Yes, I remember.

Yea, since you were out in the oceans for over half of a year, you must have not been able to watch her grow up.

Yes.

She probably grew up to be pretty?

Yes.

Here.

Why are you letting them in? Hurry and take them out!

-Hello. -Hello.

Hello.

You gathered up great courage.

I'm so proud of you, Haeun.

I was a bit late

No.

Congratulations.

Get on your knees.

And beg to my daughter.

And to my family.

Former president.

It's been a long time in But-Cheon right?

Yea, Bukcheon is the same.

And there's nothing special?

Nothing special since I'm a jobless man.

Alright. Then you're fine if this protest goes long?

You understand right?

Father.

Did you look for me?

What do you do nowadays?

Why is it so hard to see your face.

I was busy with the company work.

No matter how busy you are, participate in Bukcheon.

To get ready for the next run for mayor, managing the members of Bukcheon is the priority.

Uncle is good at running for mayor.

I think he can do it once more.

Why can't you seem to keep what you have?

What is there that's mine in this this house? It's all yours, father.

Have you never had the thought that that's all yours?

I don't want to just get it.

I will take my part myself so don't worry too much.

You're telling me to trust a guy who tattoos a woman's back?

What can you do? I'm the only one in this house that's your son.

You have to trust me.

Are you confident that you can take all of mine away?

Your bowl is too small right now to carry everything that's mine.

My bowl right now is what you've made for me.

I have to break everything and make it again myself.

That's not something that can be made!

It's something you have to have already!

Live long healthily, father.

Watch me.

I'll take everything with the bowl I make.

Without leaving a single bit.

Trained beasts never betray people.

Only humans betray.

However, for your whole life

you never realize that you're a beast and act like a human.

How am I supposed to deal with you?

Let's run away. Brother!

Brother.

Stay quiet.

I'll tell father that I didn't see you.

Let's go to father.

Did you see something?

You didn't see anything right?

You saw something?

I saw it. Everything.

Only you saw it right?

Alright, forget everything you saw.

It'll be too hard for you to understand right now.

-Once you grow older.. -You must be punished father.

You.

Forget it.

If your father tells you to forget about it, you need to forget about it.

I am me, and you are you.

This is Jang Joon Seo's house right?

Your delivery is here.

-Hey brother. -Are you busy?

Yea, kind of.

I ate crab soup for lunch.

And I thought of you.

It's crab season. Come.

Or should I deliver it to you?

No, I'll go when I have time.

You always only say you'll come with words.

Detective work is like that. It's hard to get some free-time.

Should I buy some crab and visit you?

It's fine.

Why? You don't want to see your brother?

No it's not that.

As brothers, let's see each other often.

I understand that you don't want to see this and that.

But forget about it by now.

It'll probably get better as time goes by.

Alright.

Call me sometimes and don't make me call you always.

Okay.

I feel better after hearing your voice.

Why? Was there something that made you feel bad?

What if I tell. Would you come and comfort me?

Is it because of father?

I'm not a kid. There's nothing to feel bad because of father now.

-Let's hang up now. If the call get's too long, I'm gonna want to see your face -Alright

Go back home. You'll catch a cold.

Don't slip in the rain too.

Let's go.

Come on. Oh my, what do I do.

It's nothing! It's nothing, don't mind me.

You remember this table and chair right?

Yea.

How did you find it?

I was passing by and the store you first saw was gone.

So I called the owner and immediately told them to sell it to me.

-Why? -What reason is there.

Just, I bought it because I wanted to.

Wait. Put your hands like this and tilt your face a little.

Then tilt back and look at me.

This is it. The feeling I got when I first saw you.

Suddenly, my hearts beating. Why am I like this.

Why? You don't like it?

Is it kind of weird to keep it here since its so worn out? Is it just me that likes it?

No, I like it too.

Do you want a cup of coffee as well?

It'll be great if you get me one.

Let's drink coffee here like this every day.

Forever. Without missing a single day. Just the two of us.

Alright.That's exactly what I want.

Promise.

There's suspicious activity going on on Gong Yong Chan's side.

I think being humiliated at the past wedding had been a factor.

Even without that, that guy.

That guy has been planning that since long away. Very long ago.

Gong Yong Chan started as Attorney General and Minister of Justice before becoming President.

If he were to gather his forces to face us, it'll be hard for us to handle.

Looking down from the sky, Bukcheon city must look very small.

And the people living there must seem even smaller. To the point where you can't see them.

What would it be like to stare down from all the way up there?

Congratulate Class 53: Im Dong Seok, Kang Seok Gyu Class 54: Yoo Byeong Chan for passing the Bar Exam Bukcheon High School

He died too early. There was so much he needed pay back.

What brought you here this time?

I came to see you.

Oh, then instead of coming yourself, you should've told me to go to you.

How could I dare tell you to do so?

Your father rose me.

And you're the one who made me president.

What is it that you need to ask me for?

Beom Ho, you and I are one.

If you are stabbed with a knife, blood runs out of my body.

Then we must stop it. Before I get stabbed with a knife.

That's just a rumor.

Why do you think I strained myself.

I had to make someone into a president that time.

Bumho.

Let's close Bukcheon Marine.

And if we just sacrifice a little, everything will be solved.

Sacrifice?

If everything naturally solves out.

you must for a while-

Be straightforward.

Don't try to say it differently.

You'll have to go in [to prison] for embezzlement for a bit.

Me?

If you don't want to, you can let Ki Seo go in.

My son, Ki Seo?

It just needs to be for a while, he'll be let out on special pardon really quickly.

Alright. That much power remains in you.

Beom Ho, that is the way for all of us to live.

Father always told me to teach Goo Yongchan well.

That he'll be a great strength to you in the future unmistakably

Father! That kind of guy, the guy I taught like that.

Do you know what he's saying to me right now?

Jang Bumho! Die!

I live if you die!

Honestly I admit to pickpocketing a few times but hitting the manager was really not on purpose.

No, seriously.

I thought he was a loan shark following me.

You thought I was a loan shark.

Yes. You have that feeling.

Let this guy go.

What? Why?

Go. I'll go catch you again my own way.

Let him go. I'll show him how I'm going to catch him again.

-Hello, it's me. -From now on, keep a helmet on.

Our team leader always gives back what he's received.

Put your hands out.

Why let me go after catching me after getting your head cut.

I'll just stay. I admit to assaulting a police officer.

Please just let me stay here.

Of course I ate at this time.

Where? Cafe?

Let's drink today.

But I'm gonna really get drunk today. Be aware.

I'm gonna just talk without thinking straight.

About you, about me. I'm gonna talk about everything as it is.

It's okay if I do so right?

You're gonna accept all my words right?

Do you contact your brother often?

Yes.

I grew old a lot right?

Are you still alone? You don't have a girlfriend?

I do.

Oh really?

Gi Seo's been married for so long but still has no news on kids

I heard at this age, you live on the fun of having grandchildren.

What did you come here for?

I had a meeting and just dropped by.

I was curious how you were living too.

You don't need to worry. I'm living very well.

Very well. I'm glad.

So I thought about it.

But how is it that I only remember only my wrongdoings and regrets.

But at least what is consoling is that no matter what wrongdoing I did.

It was all for my family.

It might be a sinister word to you.

But the one with the most definite Jang family blood is not Gi Seo.

It's you, Junsu.

You're gonna live well. Since you're the guy to live well without his father's help.

I'll be going now.

Hey Minju. Sorry, I was a bit late right? I'll be going soon.

Who is this?

What?

Who are you, you bastard.

What kind of bastard are you to lie to me about that!

No, why the hell would Minju die!

That's not true, don't lie to me bastard!

Don't close your eyes.

Minju.

Don't close them.

Wait a sec.

What is it.

Who engraved this.

Who engraved this on Minju?

What kind of bastard is it?!

Stop. Stop it please.

Let go of me!

Calm down, please!

Someone..someone did something weird to Minju.

You saw it too!

Is it you?

Did you do this at the hospital?

Are the one who messed around with a person's body?!

Let's go out for now!

No, you have nothing to be sorry about general Kim.

I know you can't stop it with your power.

No not me.

But I'll send Gi Seo over so have a drink with him.

Alright. Good job anyways.

Why'd you drink to the point you can't handle yourself.

Because I was sad.

What do you have to be sad about Kisuh.

You haven't slept yet?

Stand up straight.

Our great father.

I'm sorry but I drank a bit today.

But I.

I've never done a speck of what might be negative for you.

Do not worry too much.

Are you scared of me?

No. I'm not scared of you at all.

Is that true? Well, then, that's a good thing.

You take him to his room.

He'll stumble and fall on the stairs.

Yes.

Did you hear father just worry about me?

Yea.

He's grew old. Your father's grown really old now.

Ja Gyeong.

I think father likes me.

Ja Gyeong. Take my clothes off for me.

That girl died.

That girl? Who?

The girl Joon Seo loves.

Thinking about Joon Seo being sad.

I feel very sad as well.

Is that a good thing for chief president Lee?

The girl Joon Seo loves.

Has disappeared from the world.

I won't tell you to forget about her.

Since I know your feelings towards her.

But she's a gone person. Don't think that she's here.

A gone person.

Yea. She is gone.

Gone.

I know now.

You're not in this world.

But.

If you're not here, I'm also not here.

If you're gone, I'm also gone.

What are you doing?!

Let go.

Okay then. If you wanna die, die.

But before you die, there's something that you need to check.

Your name is really Jo Min Ju?

Yea, Jo Min Ju. I'm Jo Min Ju.

My wife's name is Jo Min Ju as well. You're probably someone with the same name. I think there's a misunderstanding here.

Is there someone with the same name as well as the same social security number?

Why did you do that?

Why did you register marriage with a complete stranger?

There's no way. No way.

My name?

A girl isn't supposed to tell her name carelessly.

But I'll tell you.

I'm not telling you because I like you. It's because you're a cop.

I'm telling you because you're identity is certain.

Long live the Republic of Korea!

Not this but the Min Ju when you say long live democracy.

It's dowdy right? But it's easy to memorize.

Min Ju. Jo Min Ju.

I've tried fingerprint identification and confirming with the family after contacting them.

That girl is Jo Min Ju.

What bullshit is that. That girl is the fake one. That passport was probably forged too.

Your wife wasn't Jo Min Ju.

You don't even know Min Ju.

You saw her yourself. Did Min Ju look like someone to lie?

Does she look like someone who would fool others?

She must've been in a situation.

That doesn't make sense. I lived with her for a year.

Do you think I'm a fool? Do I look that dumb?

You said your wife didn't have a family? You guys had a wedding with just the two of you too.

Have you met anyone near your wife? At least her friend?

That woman said she went study abroad for 3 years and returned.

The day she went abroad, she lost her wallet and ID at the airport.

She was aiming for the identification of a woman going abroad.

At least until the real one is abroad, there's no chance of being caught.

That can't be, Min Ju is the real one.

Think about it. Min Ju was a professional in neuroscience in a university hospital.

Do you think that that's possible with a fake identification?

There's no doctor in neuroscience with the name Jo Min Ju.

Can you check again. It must be in there.

I'm sorry but there's no one like that at our hospital.

You remember me right?

Last time.

Oh yeah of course. You're one of your doctor's family member.

Right? You know doctor Jo Min Ju?

Doctor Jo Min Ju?

Jae Ho. Why do you think Min Ju fooled me?

And why so suddenly.

The phone is turned off so you will be forwarded to the voicemail.

Where are you going?

Please go to Bukcheon. I'll pay you as much as you need.

Okay.

The Japanese prosecutors have been said to request to cooperate with Korean prosecutors.

Shouldn't we contact the secretary general at least now.

He already faced back against us.

Bukcheon's afternoon and night is very different. The afternoon is like a calm maiden.

And the night is like a dangerous demand.

If you were told to choose one, which would you choose?

I'm not sure.

A woman's identity at night is the real one.

Let's go down. I need to drink on a night like tonight.

Are you in contact with father?

Really? Okay then send me father's phone number.

I have something to check with father. Okay.

No matter what wrongdoing I do, it's all for my family.

I think your phone rang.

It's fine. I don't want to be interrupted by anyone today.

You go out too. I want to drink alone today.

Father. Why did you come see me that day.

Why the day Min Ju died.

Yea brother.

What?

Where should I go?

Brother.

What about father?

Father has passed away.

What?

Untouchable

Don't you instinctively sense something foul.

Father had chosen you, Jang Joon Seo.

Why!

I heard that woman passed away.

Who is it that told you that?

Your wife didn't approach you because she likes you.

You were constantly being watched.
