= You Are the Miracle =

= Episode 10 =

We're gonna start with a homicide.

Should we be armed?

Isn't there any danger?

Is there really no danger?

Get in the car.

It'll be dark soon, then we can handle the case.

The informant was the suspect's mother.

Her son, Liu Jixi, has been missing for more than 20 days.

A few days ago,

he often sent a message or something to his family.

Later, he said

he took a training class or something,

and then they didn't hear from him.

His family didn't know until two days ago

that the training institution didn't exist at all.

Then, they were in a panic

and his mother kept calling that cell phone.

The phone call was answered

but in the phone, they were told

that he killed someone and run away,

and they were told stop looking for him.

His mother was frightened

and came to report the case.

Did that guy, Liu Jixi,

have any criminal record?

He has no criminal record.

He seemed to

have been a resident singer

until the bar street was remodeled

and no business was left.

So

the he problem of reemployment of the unemployed is serious.

Yeah, it's serious.

So how did you

finally locate the suspect?

We used the Mobile location.

This guy didn't answer the phone,

but he didn't turn it off.

We've been tracking

his mobile location all day.

His main activity area

in a mansion of more than one thousand square meters

in the suburbs.

More than one thousand square meters?

More than one thousand square meters.

We've suspected

that the victim was the owner of the house,

or

the house is the hiding place.

It's said that the owner of this house

has been living abroad all the year round.

When we arrive there,

you two must listen to me

and do whatever I arrange.

This may be a big international case.

Would that be dangerous?

Danger? Of course it's dangerous.

You must pay attention to your safety.

You should also pay attention to your safety.

You'll never have a problem with a senior cop like me.

Look at you two, you are so mushy gushy.

Don't we have to carry a weapon to track down a murder?

What weapons do you need?

Your wisdom is your best weapon.

Don't you usually have a lot of courage?

I... I was just making an excuse to get closer to you.

You're so unromantic.

It's gonna be all right. You can just take this as the challenge.

If there is any danger,

I'll got you.

Shut up and stop flirting.

Let's move.

Crap.

Two to three.

Chen Meng, if they're armed

or if they're holding hostages,

you've got to call backup right away, understand?

We're too slow.

Who is Liu Jixi?

The police are asking questions.

It's me.

What about the person you killed?

The person I killed?

I didn't kill anyone.

- You don't wanna say it, do you? - It hurts.

It hurts. It hurts.

I really didn't kill anyone.

When I said that,

I just wanted my mom

to stop calling me.

I was just bragging, it's nonsense.

Talk nonsense.

You didn't want your mother to call you?

Are you so busy

that you can't answer any calls?

I...

I was not busy.

Busy. They were really busy.

But they did not kill anyone.

They were busy at

how to break in and steal stuff.

Nonsense. I know that, too.

It's not impossible

that they didn't steal anything and ended up killing someone.

Chen Meng, contacts the professional team

and call the owner.

Let's open the door.

Okay.

You don't need to do that.

What are you up to?

The owner has been out of the country.

And the professional team couldn't open the door,

nor the windows.

Yes, yes.

How do you know that?

We've both been here for over half a month

and we've got everything figured out.

The windows are coded,

and we couldn't even break them.

It's too hard.

Squat down.

You still feel wronged.

Officer, we are wronged.

We are wronged, officer.

I didn't kill anyone.

I didn't kill anyone.

I didn't kill anyone.

- I'm wronged. - Shut up.

Is this your home?

Yes.

Is this place your home?

Yes.

I just checked

that there's no bodies and no murders.

All the doors and windows

have been programmed with code locks,

they wouldn't open it.

I didn't expect you were pretty as a kid.

Is this really your home?

Not so bad.

What are you doing?

I'm taking pictures.

This is your home

and you wouldn't even pay for coffee.

Why does he have to buy you coffee

when this is his house?

Yeah.

Do you feel cold?

You have a house like this,

why do you live in the dormitory with us?

It is convenient to live in the dormitory and go to work.

Let's go.

If this is really your home,

why do you want to be a police officer?

Do you leave or not?

If you don't leave

you won't be able to get out if I close the door.

I'm turning off the lights.

Bye-bye.

- Did I deserve any credit - It's true.

- for what I just did, Officer Lin? - No problem.

You're courageous but not discreet.

Why don't you just take the three of them

- on trial? - You didn't stop me.

Yeah.

In fact, I thought about it on our way

that they couldn't be murderers,

who are at most some thieve.

The real murderer

could not be pinned to his cell phone

after he had managed to hide the body for so long.

And the place where they committed the crime is in my house,

where it's hard to hide a body and nobody could be killed.

All right.

They were unlucky enough to run into you.

But look,

if you had gone home earlier, there would have been no such thing.

But it's inconvenient

that your home is so far away.

The trial was over

and they are just three pity thieves who tried to steal.

When his mother called him,

he was staying in the villa...

oh, no, at your second floor.

They spent two hours but couldn't open window,

he was in a hurry

to say that to his mother.

Two hours? They were very patient.

Yeah.

If it were me, I'd kill.

Me too.

I've got to say you're unfriendly,

why didn't you tell me

such exciting news earlier?

Tell you what?

You are the second-generation rich

born with the golden spoon in your mouth.

What can I say?

You're keeping a low profile, very low.

I, your old brother,

start to like you a little bit.

Don't do that, you should still hate me

which makes me feel more natural.

Brother, buy a flower.

Brother, just buy one.

Brother, please buy one.

How much does it cost, little girl?

Ten yuan each.

Ten yuan?

Eight yuan.

Eighty-eight each, he'll take all of them.

Don't stand on ceremony with him.

Take it if you like.

Thank you, brother.

You really know how to love someone.

But why do you feel sorry for him?

You should feel sorry for the little girls.

It's such a cold day.

And that is his home.

You two don't follow me.

I'm looking for Xia Tian and I don't want to see you.

These are my flowers.

There're the flowers Lin Ze bought for me.

Why are you so mean? That's his house.

It doesn't matter. The flowers will wither in two days.

Then why did you buy them? Did it cost anything?

Wasn't that what you like?

I...

Let's go.

Go? Where are we going?

Go to the place of Xia Tian.

He just said that

"Don't follow me, I don't want to see you"

He doesn't want us to be third wheel.

But don't you live there?

Anyway, it's still early,

how about this?

I'll give you a chance to take me on a date.

Okay, where are we going?

Where are we going?

Let's go.

Come on.

Why are we here?

On a date, of course.

Why do you want to come here for a date?

This is your secret base.

And if it's just me and you could get into your secret base,

that will mean that I'm the only one in your heart.

Could this mean that you are the only one in my heart?

I don't know. Xia Tian said that.

Believe it or not, I believe it.

I don't believe it.

Come on, give me that.

Do you think

we're kind of on an outing?

Isn't the point of the outing

to go somewhere?

The point of the outing is clearly

with whom and what to eat.

Is it?

Why hasn't Mengmeng come back?

Are you sure there's nothing wrong with her?

Are you sure you didn't come as a cop

to tell me what happened to her

but when you came to me, you couldn't say it,

so you ate so many bowls of noodles?

You girls have such imagination.

Why hasn't she come back?

It's not unusual for her not to come back.

They are a couple.

We're a couple, too.

No, I have to call her.

She was on her first day.

You just sit down.

I'm not going to sit. Go ahead.

I think you people

have a misunderstanding about our police profession.

Are you listening to me?

Yes, I'm. We have a misunderstanding.

So what?

The police are not so dangerous.

There are only a few people who have died.

There are so many good policemen like me

growing up healthily.

I'll have another bowl of noodles.

There's no noodle nor flour.

You've ate it all up.

I seem to be full.

Then just leave. Welcome next time

I... I would like to have a beer.

No, beer is my personal collection

which are priceless and not for sale.

Then I would like to have a drink.

No way.

Just leave.

I'd like to drink water.

You're annoying.

I'm drinking water.

Will you leave or not?

No more water.

Then I'll go.

The smell is mixed with

the smell of the film development potion

produce a smell of ointment.

Not at all.

It's barbecue

which is my favorite flavor.

No ointment.

Let me tell you that I could do magic.

What magic?

Just like this.

Chew the chips with this bubble gum,

and chips will disappear.

Really, would you like to try?

This is not magic.

There are a lot of gum bases in gum

and gum bases is an organic substance.

And there's a lot of vegetable oil in the chips

and vegetable oil is also an organic substance.

Organic matters generally dissolve with each other.

But because the gum contains

a large amount of gel-based molecules,

even if it can dissolve, it won't disappear completely.

- It won't disappear completely with... - All right.

That's enough, stop it.

What have I done

to date with a chemistry teacher?

What did you say?

It's nothing.

It's delicious, isn't it.

Not bad.

Sit down. I'll tell you something.

What's up?

How about

I go home with you every weekend and do some cleaning?

Why?

It's your house, after all.

Listen,

you don't come home every day,

and nearly let three thieves into the house.

It's fine.

I don't think there's something wrong.

Oh, Listen,

you could take care of my mother so seriously,

so why can't you

take care of your own family?

Since both parents are alive,

you should cherish them, right?

You have a point.

Well, I won't give you any advice

and you got to think about it.

Otherwise, it's like

I like you for your big house.

Let's stop talking about it.

Let's play games.

What kind of game?

Put this on it.

Don't move.

Don't move.

Sit down. Come on, sit down,

Hurry up.

- What are you doing? - Come on.

What game is so formal?

It's a quiz.

You've got to answer whatever I ask,

and you've got to answer it quickly.

I'm telling you,

according to a reliable source,

the game

is 100 percent close to what you really think.

What kind of reliable source is this?

This is not the point.

The point is the game.

Pay attention.

Okay.

Do you like cat or dog?

Dog.

What flavor of ice cream do you like,

chocolate or vanilla?

I don't eat ice cream.

How could someone not eat ice cream?

Ice cream is bad for your health.

All right, all right, just stop.

What weather do you like,

rain or snow?

I like neither.

This is the game.

If you do it like this,

there's no way to play this game.

How about this?

You have to answer

next question.

Well, just go ahead. I'll choose one.

When you're with someone you like,

do you want to hold her or kiss her?

Forget it. I know you won't choose.

What kind of game?

The two of us...

We...

What is this broken rope?

This is a hand-string I knitted by myself.

Do you wanna give it to me?

It's fine if you don't want it.

I want it. Who told you that I wouldn't want it?

It's late for work. It's time to go.

Let's go.

Wait for me.

You two...

No, no, we're innocent.

My Lin Ze is still innocent.

How do you know if he's innocent?

Director Qin is calling for a meeting,

aren't you afraid of being scolded?

Don't follow this case anymore.

I'll go there first.

I'm leaving.

Don't worry.

Are we all clear?

Clear.

Lin ze is in charge of the mission.

Lin Ze, this is your first case,

and everyone here is more experienced than you.

If you have any questions, just ask them.

Do you understand?

Yes, Sir.

This time, Zheng Lei is likely to take desperate measures.

But Zheng Lei is very cautious

and so far, we have no clue to the people behind him,

which means he's very intelligent.

You have to be careful.

That's all.

The meeting is over.

Okay.

Do you think that our Officer Zhu will be pissed off or not

for Lin ze is in charge of this case?

It sounds bloody, let's leave.

Let's have dinner at night.

It looks like that roses didn't work.

You need to find Chen Meng not me.

I have to ask you out,

then Chen Meng will be brainless appearance,

and Xia Tian will...

The logic is right,

but the starting point is questionable.

The mission is urgent, let's go.

Could you just give me order me since you're rich?

You really could.

Look, we only have this size.

Yes, sir.

I'm sorry, but please go out for a moment.

Okay.

I heard he was released, right?

It's really breathtaking for Zheng Lei

that he was released this time.

There is no danger without fear.

It's better to be cautious.

Don't meet him recently

and break all connections.

Safety is the most important.

- However... - The paint

can fetch a higher price.

I suggest you keep it in your hand for a while,

don't sell it rashly.

I will find a better chance.

= Zheng Lei =

= Find a new place, see you in three days =

I mean, are you crazy?

Zheng Lei will definitely recognize us

for the two handsome faces of us.

Can we find anything

if we go straight to his house?

Do you realize that wasting police force is against the law?

Don't worry.

- Just ask anything you want when we arrive. - What?

I'll take care of the rest.

- What do you... - Is there anything I can do for you?

I'm on a mission.

I know. I'm on a mission, too

Isn't it the Zheng Lei's case?

I'm telling you

that I'm not gonna give up until I get him.

I heard that your job today is to sort out the files.

That's too boring, Okay?

How about this?

I'll come back to work

when I'm done with this assignment without any delay.

Go back. I'm leaving.

Bye-bye.

I don't care. I'm going anyway.

Yeah, yeah.

Could you give me

the address of Mr. Zheng Lei's house?

Just send it to my cell phone, please.

Yes, yes.

I just wanna cooperate with the Precinct.

Thank you.

Let me check with you for the last time.

Are you sure you want to walk straight in like this?

Yes, I am.

Who is that?

Police officer.

Didn't you say it was a misunderstanding?

Zheng is not at home.

Don't be nervous.

We just came by to follow up

the basic situation,

so we could close the case.

Well...

Well...

Well, Come in then.

OK, thank you.

Please.

Thank you.

How did they run so fast

that no one was there?

Crap.

You step on my foot.

Why are you here?

What a coincidence, Mr. Zheng.

I...

I run a private boxing studio around here.

Officer Chen, stop playing.

This trick has deceived me once,

now you want to use it the second time,

do you think I'm a fool?

What is Chen?

You mean that?

I'm telling you

I've dropped out of police academy

to be a private boxing coach.

You are my old customer, come to have a try.

I'll give you a good discount.

If there's no business I have to cooperate with you,

I'm gonna go.

What do you mean no business?

The things I do at work

are the most important things to me.

Think about it and have a try.

If you do that again,

I'll really sue you for harassment.

Mr. Zheng, Mr. Zheng.

Well, I've done my best.

Come on, you guys.

Two officers,

What's the matter with Zheng?

He was punished last time.

Isn't it a misunderstanding this time?

Why bother two police officers to come here in person?

How long have you lived here?

We live here when we get married.

My family have paid the down payment.

But Zheng has been working hard these years

and we paid off the mortgage last year.

I think you're a long way from downtown.

Yes, it's not close,

but I work near here

and kid's school is not too far away,

so it's kind of convenient.

What do you want to ask me, officers?

I...

No, we've got nothing to ask.

Please sit down.

OK, thank you.

Please have some water.

Thank you.

You are welcome.

Zheng.

These two officers have been here for a while

and they said they wanted to see you.

did you?

Excuse me.

What else do you need to ask?

Nothing.

We're here to ask some basic information,

and now it's almost done.

We're going back.

Sorry to bother you.

If it's all right, we're leaving.

All right, all right.

I said I was wrong.

I thought

you want to take advantage of Zheng Lei's absence

to go to his house and get information from his family,

so I tried to hold him back.

So you managed to get his attention.

How could I know you have such strange ideas?

This is the most normal way of handling cases.

Zheng Lei is cautious and cunning.

After so many contacts,

he's now very sensitive to investigating such things

behind the scenes.

So what I want is not to hide my identity

and go straight to him,

so we could see his real reaction in that moment.

Well, I said I was wrong.

At the worst,

let me talk to Director Qin

and I'll tell him it's my responsibility.

It's none of your business,

It's also my responsibility

because I didn't think about all the hidden troubles.

You mean I'm a hidden trouble, do you?

In theory, you are.

You...

All right.

You two just go out for fight if you want to.

What we should solve now is

how to explain with Director Qin.

The problem is not whether it needs explaining.

The problem is, after this time,

I\it's even harder for Zheng Lei to show his flaws.

What does it taste like?

What are you doing?

Don't you say that in the office we can't...

Where did you get this asphalt?

- Asphalt? - Yeah.

When I put Zheng Lei off,

he stepped on me, which was strong.

It was killing me.

How could he be so powerful?

Why don't you go back? It's getting late.

Do you think that tomorrow...

The small hotel on Yutong Road.

Tomorrow is the weekend and you don't have to come to work.

I've told Xia Tian to pick you up.

Safety first.

Who will pick you up?

Where are you going?

I'll go with you.

Okay?

Let's go.
