= Peace Classics =

Ma'am, you awake?

I'm calling the doctor.

You are...?

I'm Chen Meng's...

You are Meng meng's boyfriend, right?

I see.

Meng meng told me

that she likes a boy.

I'm her mother, I know her.

What type of man she likes,

I can tell in the first view.

You are the guy, I know it.

Where is Meng meng?

You had an attack out of sudden.

I haven't told Chen Meng yet.

Good.

Please don't tell her.

My condition is always unstable.

It's not a suddenly attack.

Is she going to graduate?

You are both going to graduate, right?

Yes, you all knew.

I have...

missed a lot about her.

I didn't wash clothes for her quite a lot,

and I didn't cook for her often.

Even she has a boyfriend now,

I can't by her side.

It's OK, aunt.

Don't be so sad, you have me now.

What's your name?

I'm Lin Ze.

You need remind me more often about that,

so, I can remember you.

Lin Ze.

Why do you keep refusing to communicate with me?

I'm busy working on graduate stuff,

I don't have much time.

All right, all right.

Stop those excuses.

I can't agree you being a policeman after graduate.

Mom.

I want to know what I can do,

on my own.

Take over the company or not,

whatever you do is all on your own.

It's not just about being a policeman.

Mom, but I want...

Every choice you make,

will influence your lasting lifetime.

Alex,

you must know,

you can't make a choice, only thinking about yourself.

We are family, think for us.

= Songjiang Japanese Restaurant =

Don't move, let me.

Here, your ramen.

Thanks.

The 28th ramen of today.

Count those on my payroll.

I just don't understand.

You don't want to be a police officer.

You use that big boss, Qi Chengyu's name card

as a bookmark,

and didn't ask him for a job.

You stay in here, deceive and bully me.

What's wrong with you?

I didn't deceive nor bullying you.

I'm looking for a job.

What I just said are really jobs!

Jobs come to you, hide from them.

How dare you looking for job now?

The probity refuses to accept alms.

Miss Xia Tian, I can work with my hands.

Earning my own money, raise my family,

Uphold my future.

What's wrong about that?

And you prepare to muck about here?

Okay, let's make it clearly.

3000 yuan a month,

without free food and housing, think it over.

Exploiting class.

And I don't want to stay here.

Now I'm concentrating on finding a job.

Besides, I'm going to graduate.

So, I can make money

to look after my mom.

I can't wait for others' help anymore.

Don't worry about me,

even though all the roads are blocked,

I can make one road for myself.

All the roads are

blocked by yourself.

Xia Tian, honey.

Don't worry about me.

I promise, one week.

Within one week,

I will get an honorable job.

Okay?

When I was a child,

I thought

if there is someone more miserable than me,

maybe it's a good thing to keep her by my side.

But know I think,

you are not deserving sympathy

for your miserable life.

You deserve it.

Okay, I didn't feel your sympathy anyway.

Okay, serve me ramen.

Two bowls.

This one is your wage.

Hi, this is my resume.

Hi.

You graduated from police academy?

How many languages do you speak?

I... I speak Chinese, and English.

And I passed CET-6

before the graduation.

That's all you got?

How about your capability of public relationship?

Have you done any relevant work before?

Don't worry, I'll try my best!

And capacity for liquor? Can you drink wines?

I can drink.

I drunk a lot on my graduation party.

Miss, this job is not for you.

Maybe you should find

another job that meets your capability.

What we need is

experienced practical personnel.

And you...

Please, ma'am.

Trust me, I am practical personnel.

When I was in police academy,

I'm the top of fight class for years.

Excuse me, sorry.

I have a meeting, excuse me.

Excuse me.

Come in.

You look nice in uniform, Lin Ze.

This is your first day.

Any question on formality,

Ask Zhu takes you deal with it.

Okay.

You are familiar with the precinct,

Let's cut to the chase

and go straight to work.

Director Qin,

I've went through the files,

and I think my conjecture is right.

The reason they don't complain

is they are not

the owner of the money.

Someone paid them to

collect those paintings

just to drive up prices.

Or there are other reasons.

Go on, what the other reasons?

I haven't figure it out yet.

That depends on Zheng Lei's reaction.

Zheng Lei, we have interrogated him several times.

But he didn't commit

the money has something to do with him.

Maybe he is hanging on for something.

But Zheng Lei is

no getting away with the case.

We've started to investigate

the buy's accounting information.

I don't think Zheng Lei

did the whole thing all by himself.

After all,

he doesn't have such a large turnover capacity.

You are right.

The most I worry about is Zheng Lei

determine to say nothing.

Because he retracted his testimony so many times,

but he never mentioned

the wire-puller behind him

or the information of his partner.

So, you worry about

Zheng Lei will take the rap his own?

It's not out of the question.

But I have an idea.

We strike first.

What? Release him? = Public Security Bureau of Bincheng City =

Dude,

you are totally out of your mind.

We had a hard time getting him back,

now we need is just investigate through the

running account between he and the buyers.

He will never get away with charge, okay?

Leave aside whether the investigation will yield results,

there won't be any trace left in the accounts.

Even though there is any trace left,

we just convict Zheng Lei at best.

Who else will you convict?

You mean, me?

Cuff me up then.

Zheng Lei doesn't have that gut,

that courage,

and the money to organize the massive fraud.

There must some pulling the strings.

We captured him twice,

but the interval is short between two times.

He had no enough time to tip off his partners.

You see his status now,

though he refuses to confess,

he is obviously scared and nervous.

He is afraid.

If you are him,

and be released at this point,

what would you do the first time you get out?

Me?

I will treat Officer Lin Ze to dinner,

drink wines,

and ask him:

'How about you join us, let's work together.'

You've got a point.

He will go to someone for help the first time he gets out.

Of course, the 'someone' is not me,

but he must exist.

What if he doesn't go for help?

If he doesn't go for help,

arrest him again,

Everything goes back.

Arrest him again?

What if he escapes,

goes to African savannah?

How can I arrest him?

Where is he going?

African savannah?

If he truly goes to African savannah,

Zhu, I'll let you take vacation,

get him back on gnu.

Director Qin, you always speak for him.

I...

Where are you going, Zhu?

I'm going to execute...

Officer Lin Ze's command.

Go through the procedures, release Zheng Lei.

You stinky!

He's still a boy, never grow up.

But I like his character,

he is full of vigor in handling the case.

Lin Ze, you've just work in the precinct...

Director, now I'm here.

I will try my best to finish my work well.

Yeah, I've seen that.

Went straight to investigation after you were here.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself.

Relax properly.

There's a basketball game at the precinct tomorrow.

Be prepared.

All right.

Good, good, nice kick.

You are worthy of being a graduate of police academy.

Thanks, I'm flattered.

Manager, I can come to work anytime.

Well...

The rules of our gym are very strict.

Our formal coaches

must have standard qualification.

Manager, I was in a box club...

It's OK.

Don't worry about that.

We have internal qualification system.

The training expenses are 20000 yuan.

You can pass the exam quite easy.

You just said standard qualification,

now internal qualification system?

For the safety and training effect for the members.

All right.

You fraud, go play with yourself.

Bad Lin Ze, damn you!

Made me angry, not showing up to cuddle me.

I gave you my quota of the precinct.

Where is your gratitude.

Okay, maybe I was self-sentimental.

Having my heart setting on you.

Is it all my fault?

Damn you!

Keep provoking me,

I'll go and get the quota back!

See if you come and beg me!

How can I like a man like that?!

Damn!

Damn you! Damn you!

How can I like a man like that?!

Damn you!

Chen Meng

Chen Meng, is that you?

Who are you?

It's me, Pangduner.

You are the...

Remember me?

Hurry, hop in!

Come here.

Haven't seen you for a long time.

Of course.

Why are you so skinny now?

You don't understand.

Life destroyed me.

It's quite good to lose some weight.

But why are you dressing like that?

I'm working for A-list celebrities...

Don't!

celebrities of the country

as personal make-up artist.

If you want blend in the fashion world,

you have to know something about fashion, right?

Besides, why are you wandering around the lake

in this time without going to work?

It can't be suicide after being dumped by a man...

the drama scenario?

How could I be dumped by a man?!

By job, maybe...

Lost your job?

Here,

we are finding a body guard for Mr. Mario.

You were professionally trained in police academy.

Maybe you can have a shot.

Right.

Okay.

For the sake of beating you up when we were kids,

I'll take it.

Chen Meng,

look at what you are wearing.

I should take you to buy some dresses.

Sit tight.

We are getting old.

We beat them once for a year,

why are you so scared?

Go.

= Criminal Police Office =

Wang, Wang.

Let's go have dinner.

Alright.

Go.

Lin Ze.

We want to celebrate for you.

Let's go and have barbecues.

How about that?

What a good excuse.

Tell you what,

my wife has let me have meals

outside home for a long time.

Me too.

We have to go today.

Yeah!

I'm not going.

Sorry, I have something else to do today.

Maybe we can take a rain check.

How disappointing.

Why...why are you...

Look at him!

I'm done with him!

I'm going to tell Director Qin.

I can't work with that guy for one more day.

What? Why are you looking at me?

If you resign,

maybe it is a good excuse

for not going home for dinner.

Am I right?

Yeah.

Go, hurry!

Beat it!
