Big Brother, I think he is suffering

And he hasn't seen his mother in two months

- Can't he visit her for a day? - No

What?

Do you aII feeI the same way?

If he's not capabIe to do it

it's useIess for us to keep forcing him

That's true. Perhaps it wouId be better if we Iet him rest for awhiIe

Big Brother

I'm not going to care

- First Teacher... - Come back soon

Thank you, teacher

Mother

Jing, why are you back?

Did you sneak off?

No

My teachers toId me to come back

It's not been haIf a year yet

and they Iet you come back?

I've been doing weII so the teachers are rewarding me

ReaIIy?

I've not been back for so Iong I reaIIy miss your cooking

AII you think about is food

Look how dirty your cIothes are

Take them off now. I'II wash them for you

ActuaIIy...

my teachers said that my skiIIs haven't improved much

so they toId me to come back sooner

Xiaotian

How did we end up with such a son?

Mother, I...

What have our Guo's famiIy done wrong?

Even though you die such a tragic death

there's stiII no one who can avenge you

I've aIready tried my best to Iearn martiaI arts

It's too bad that I...

I can't reaIIy bIame you either

You're just not cut out for Iearning martiaI arts

AIright

Let me speak to your teachers tomorrow

You don't have to Iearn anymore

Mother, that won't do!

I must continue Iearning I'II definiteIy succeed!

Forget it, don't waste your time

You won't succeed even if you keep practising

I think your father's death

wiII never be avenged

I'm so useIess...

Why am I aIways unabIe to master anything?

I'm so stupid

I'm reaIIy stupid

Where there's a wiII, there's a way

EIder

PIease don't caII me that I'm just an ordinary person

You'II never be abIe to succeed Iike this

EIder, pIease impart your martiaI arts skiIIs to me

Do you think this mountain can be scaIed?

Do you find it very difficuIt?

MartiaI arts exponents must have patience and determination

If you can't scaIe this mountain don't even think about martiaI arts

FoIIow me

Try cIimbing this mountain

After watching you cIimbed the hiII

I can teII that your martiaI arts foundation is quite good

I don't know why, but...

I can't seem to master the skiIIs that my teachers were teaching me

The teacher isn't teaching the right way

And the student isn't using the right method

I don't reaIIy understand what you're saying

You'II know soon enough

You have a taIent for martiaI arts

Fate has brought us together

Meet me here every night. I'II teach you the principIes of InternaI SkiII

Thank you, eIder

But you mustn't teII anyone about this

Yes

My Lord Sangkun has sent many betrothaI gifts

There are 500 goats over there and Iots of goId, siIver and jeweIIery

My Lord

- How is my sworn brother? - Lord Sangkun is very weII

I'II personaIIy present him my gifts in return next month

And I'II seIect an auspicious date to send Huazheng over to marry Dushi

Yes, My Lord

- Who sent so many things over? - That's right!

They're betrothaI gifts from Dushi

Father

Are you reaIIy going to...

That's enough! I've aIready decided

Do you know that father wants me to marry Dushi?

Then I'II never be abIe to see Guo Jing again

Huazheng

Father, why do you insist I marry Dushi?

Don't you understand?

You don't understand how I feeI either

There's onIy one thing I hope for in my entire Iife

And that is to be the Iord of aII MongoIians

I want you to marry Dushi because I want an aIIiance with Sangkun

I want to unite MongoIia

I want to become Genghis Khan

When I was young...

I aIways thought that my father was a hero

He's respected and adored by peopIe

But today, I've reaIised something

My father is wiIIing to give up my happiness for his own personaI gIory

You're reaIIy despicabIe

You'II never be abIe to understand my aspirations and ambitions

Our forces aren't strong enough right now so we need Sangkun

Just think of it as sacrificing yourseIf for your father's sake

I understand what you want

But I reaIIy can't beIieve it

You're using me as a commodity to be exchanged

You'II have to sacrifice yourseIf for the greater good

Guo Jing, I'm going to Iook for Guo Jing

Guo Jing

Guo Jing, I...

I'm aIready feeIing so Iousy Stop annoying me and go back

I know that aII of you treat me Iike I'm invisibIe

Huazheng, what happened?

Father insists that I marry Dushi

Then...

- What are your pIans? - I...

- Take me away! - I can't do that

I know, you hate me because I annoy you

You've never said that you fancied me

I was a fooI. None of you Iike me

Huazheng, where are you going?

- Leave me aIone - When did I ever say that...

I didn't Iike you?

Then you must either ask my father for my hand in marriage

or take me away from this pIace

I...

Go teII my father, quick!

- WeII? - I...

Guo Jing, no wonder you haven't been abIe to master any skiIIs

You've been spending your time with her

First Teacher

- I didn't - You didn't?

We've aIready given up on you

Since we're going to Iose anyway why don't we just admit defeat?

It'II save us the embarrassment

Let's go, Seventh Sister Let's not disturb them

First Teacher... I...

Don't caII me that

I'm teIIing you that from now on we're no Ionger reIated in any way

Whatever you do in the future is none of our business

First Teacher, I know that I've done wrong

First Teacher...

Guo Jing didn't Iook for me I was the one who came to Iook for him

It takes two hands to cIap. Let go!

Let's give Guo Jing another chance

Do you think I reaIIy want to admit defeat to Qiu Chuji?

But you know as weII as I do that Jing has no taIent

He's never going to succeed

Why don't we stop wasting his time?

PIease give me another chance I'II definiteIy work hard

I'II give you another chance so that you'II give up for good

But tomorrow morning you must dueI Third Brother

If you can withstand 3 moves from him then you're stiII my discipIe

If you can't do that then even if I'm wiIIing to acknowIedge you

you shouId be feeIing guiIty

Big Brother

AIright, I'II go back and ask father to chase them away

No, your father's not going to heIp you now

Watch carefuIIy. These are the principIes of the ShuttIe SwordpIay

Yes, teacher

If you don't master this

you won't be abIe to withstand Third Brother's moves tomorrow

You must Iearn it weII

AIright, I wiII

Younger sister

- Fourth Brother - Fourth Teacher

I knew you'd definiteIy be here teaching Guo Jing

At his current IeveI Jing won't be abIe to withstand the 3 moves

So I'm here to teII Guo Jing that Third Teacher's weakness is his Ieg

When you fight him tomorrow you must attack his Iower body

Thank you, teachers

Make an effort to memorise it

Execute the Eight Trigrams footwork

Move your sword in 'two forms' position

Turn the 'four faIse' into one reaI

Stay caIm

Focus your 'qi' on your paIms

PaIms...

PaIms...

Why can't I memorise it?

Guo Jing

Teacher Zhebie

I can't seem to Iearn anything

TeII me, am I reaIIy very stupid?

Huazheng has toId me everything

I won't be abIe to withstand 3 moves from my teacher

- What shouId I do? - No wonder they don't want you

Even I don't want to see you

Teacher Zhebie even you are unwiIIing to heIp me?

As martiaI arts exponents

it's considered an honour to dueI with someone. OnIy cowards back out

You must go tomorrow

and fight with your best efforts

No one wiII bIame you whether you win or Iose

- Teacher Zhebie - CaII me that onIy after the dueI

Do your best

Guo Jing

You Iook reaIIy unhappy tonight

EIder

Tomorrow morning, I'II have to withstand 3 moves from my teacher

If I can't do that, they won't accept me as their discipIe anymore

What shouId I do?

When Iearning martiaI arts you mustn't feeI bothered and upset

Use the breathing method that I taught you to quiet your emotions

Then you'II be abIe to withstand the 3 moves from your teacher

- Guo Jing - Teachers

Guo Jing

You must do your best in today's dueI

Third Brother

You mustn't give way to him

If you do you'II be causing him even more harm

Yes, Big Brother

But seeing as how he's the Iast descendant of the Guo famiIy

don't hurt him too badIy

I understand

Guo Jing, fight him with the swordpIay that I taught you

Thank you, Seventh Teacher

- Get ready, Third Brother - AIright

Teacher, it's been more than 3 moves

Jing, I didn't expect your skiIIs to improve so quickIy

It was because you gave way to me, teacher

Guo Jing, who taught you these skiIIs?

First Teacher, you were the ones who taught me my skiIIs

Nonsense! We don't have such skiIIs

Who eIse has been teaching you besides us?

There's Teacher Zhebie

You're stiII Iying to me. How can Zhebie teach you such skiIIs?

- Who taught you? - First Teacher

- You must keep your word - TeII me

I didn't... I reaIIy didn't Iearn from anyone eIse

That's right, Big Brother Jing wouId never Iie

Maybe he reaIIy improved

Yes, maybe he managed to memorise the Iast few moves of my swordpIay

Perhaps he reaIIy memorised it

I see

Get up, Guo Jing

I didn't expect you to be abIe to defeat your teacher

What's wrong? Why do you Iook so gIum?

How did this happen?

What did you say? You're mumbIing to yourseIf

I can't possibIy defeat my teacher

What are you saying? You reaIIy did defeat him

Yes

It must be him

I onIy won because of the breathing method he taught me

- It has to be him - Where're you going? Don't ignore me

I'II ask him tonight

- Third Brother - Big Brother

Did Jing use Seventh Sister's ShuttIe SwordpIay just now?

It did Iook a IittIe Iike it But most of it didn't seem to be it

That scoundreI must have Iearnt other skiIIs from someone eIse

This is outrageous!

Big Brother, we just want Jing to defeat Yang Kang

- It doesn't matter what he uses - Rubbish

The Seven Freaks of Jiangnan are righteous peopIe

If he was ignorant

and Iearnt some unorthodox skiIIs from someone eviI

how are we going to face the worId?

If that were true

I'II kiII him myseIf

No one knows what reaIIy happened how can we pass judgment so soon?

No one knows?

I heard his footsteps just now

His internaI strength is immense

If it weren't some unorthodox skiII how couId he have Iearnt so quickIy?

Big Brother

- Let's investigate first - That's what I'm pIanning to do

Or I wouId have kiIIed him with a singIe bIowjust now

Fourth Brother, Seventh Sister

Yes, Big Brother

Watch him tonight and see if there's anything out of the ordinary

I didn't expect his Qinggong to be so good

He's fast. Where did he go?

- Let's spIit up and find him - AIright

Thank you for imparting your skiIIs to me, EIder

I mereIy taught you some principIes of controIIing your breathing

It's not considered martiaI arts

But if it weren't for your guidance

I wouIdn't have been abIe to withstand 3 moves from my teacher

That's because you're smart

What's going on?

Mei Chaofeng?

What happened?

It's Mei Chaofeng

You know what Big Brother's temper is Iike

If he finds out about this, Jing is doomed

Are we going to keep this from Big Brother?

Though Jing is ignorant

but no matter what, we did watch him grow up

How can you bear to see him kiIIed?

Big Brother

Seventh Sister, what have you discovered?

Nothing...

Nothing?

Don't Iie to me

I went to his tent just now

He's not at home. Where did he go?

Where did he go?

Taoist Ma...

I'm going to kiII that good-for-nothing!

I didn't expect Mei Chaofeng to be so powerfuI

With her current IeveI of skiIIs I can't defeat her at the moment

I think you and your six teachers shouId keep away for now

Why is he here?

Do you know them?

Yes, he's the Sixth Prince of Jin Wanyan HongIie

His sudden appearance might mean that something's up

Don't bother with mongoIian affairs

No, I must investigate

It's more important to fight off Mei Chaofeng

EIder, I'II be back shortIy

Jing

Thank you Sixth Prince and three heroes come to heIp

Let me drink a toast to your highness

Don't stand on ceremony

ActuaIIy, I'm heIping myseIf by aiding you

Tiemuzhen is so ambitious

Sooner or Iater, he's not going to respect our Jin empire

I reaIIy didn't expect that

we wouId fight amongst ourseIves

Sworn brother

If you're stiII hesitating it just shows that you're weak

That's right. After aII, we're going to assassinate him in secret

No one wiII know that we're responsibIe

Stop hesitating

Let's drink to Tiemuzhen's death and our hopes of uniting MongoIia!

Cheers!

Taoist Ma, I didn't expect Sangkun and the rest to be so vicious

They were pIanning to assassinate Lord Tiemuzhen

Don't bother with the affairs of the MongoIians

No, I have to inform Lord Tiemuzhen immediateIy

Father

The knife of the Prince Consort...

My Lord...

Guo Jing?

Huazheng, has Lord Tiemuzhen Ieft?

What is it?

GeneraI Fu where's Lord Tiemuzhen and the rest?

They've aIready Ieft

Jing, what's going on?

I overheard Sangkun and some others

They said that they're pIanning to assassinate Lord Tiemuzhen

- Guo Jing, is that true? - Yes, I heard it with my own ears

UncIe Fu, what shouId we do? Quick think of a way to save my father

AIright, I'II send troops to save them

It might be too Iate I'II ride my horse and get there first

That's a good idea. I'II back you up

Teacher

Teacher, what have I done wrong?

PIease accept my apoIogies I'm Ma Yu from Quanzhen Sect

Ma Yu?

- Guo Jing, are you aIright? - Yes

My teachers...

We, the Seven Freaks of Jiangnan

have Iong admired Taoist Ma of Quanzhen sect

We're punishing our errant discipIe by death here. PIease step aside!

Knowing Guo Jing's character

what has he done wrong?

He's been Iearning martiaI arts from Mei Chaofeng

Then you have been mistaken about him

I was the one who's been imparting the skiIIs of Quanzhen sect to him

ReaIIy?

Jing, why didn't you say so earIier?

I was the one who toId him not to mention this to anyone eIse

It's my fauIt that you have wronged him

PIease don't stand on ceremony, Taoist Ma

Jing is indeed fortunate to have received your guidance

Jing, thank Taoist Ma quickIy!

I mereIy imparted some internaI skiIIs to you. I'm not your teacher

Has Tiemuzhen set off?

Yes, I was trying to catch up with them to teII him to come back

Jing, why didn't you teII us that Lord Tiemuzhen is in troubIe?

- Just now I... - Go quickIy...
