Simply pack the bags.

- Where are we going? - Eh, so ...

I mean, I think we're here.

- OK. - We want to take this track,

which is this guy here.

- OK. - I take out a few

miles, and see how it hooks here?

- Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. - And it ends?

Okay, I want to come here,

where this meadow is at this lake.

OK? I think so when we are there

we'll figure it out, you know.

- Off the path. Off the grid. - Yes, off the path.

It's only fun if nobody has it have ever been there before.

- Is it safe? - Of course it is safe.

We will discover it when we are there.

- Believe me. - OK.

Would I leave something happen to you?

Okay, let's go.

Watch your hair.

- Thanks, soldier. - How does it feel? Oh, at ease.

One two Three.

- Which way, here? - I think we ...

Yes, this looks like it a small path here.

- Oh! - Hey!

- Close this now. - Close to.

And just rinse.

But keep it higher here, you know, like balance.

Oh.

Yes.

You are my lucky charm.

- Mm-hmm? - Mm-hmm.

You have to see this.

Wow.

Oh.

Oh my God.

- Oh my God. - Off the grid.

Whoa.

This is amazing.

This is so beautiful.

Worth the bushwhacking.

- Oh my God. This is amazing. - Am I right?

This is so ...

magnificent.

I'm sorry I was gone for so long.

I forgive you...

But that's the last time.

You're not allowed to leave again.

OK.

Serious.

This view here, can not be better.

Right? It can not be better.

Stop. Are you serious now?

Wait, are you serious now?

Do you want to be my wife?

Yes.

Oh my God.

It is so beautiful.

It's perfect.

Whoa!

- I love you. I love you. - I love you.

My mother is going to panic.

She's going to mess around.

You can not pee well there. You're so embarrassing!

You are! I can not believe you now!

I can not believe it you take one

- photo of me that I pee. - Oh, you're sick!

Go inside, like,

somewhere where people I can not see you.

So embarrassing!

Who is here?

You are such a loser.

But you love me.

It's beautiful, huh? Look at the stars.

It is much clearer here.

It has not even been done.

- It is completely raw. - Why did you put it in my face?

Not fair.

I wasted a whole marshmallow that was not cooked.

- And you had to eat it too. - Oh come on.

This is life.

A man can get used to this.

I can not believe how well you did it.

It is so good.

- It's fun. - It's perfect.

Natalie Laird.

Nat ... Hello, Mrs. Laird.

- Oh, my god, Mrs. Laird. - Yes, get used to it.

Mrs. Laird.

Oh God.

You make me happy.

You make me happy.

Good,

you have earned it for a long time.

I missed you so much.

I've missed you.

Every day that you were gone ...

and I've never heard of you ...

I kept thinking I would call.

And the hardest thing was knowing

that I was not the one who would get a flag.

I promise, I will never leave you again.

- You promise? - Promise it.

What are you doing?

Something is right go outside.

What are you doing mean knocking?

Like, as if someone is rapping on a door.

We are in the forest. There are no doors.

See?

What is that?

It is absolutely something Outside.

What are you going to do?

Nothing. We are in the forest, baby. There is something everywhere.

See?

It's gone.

Go back to sleep again.

What was that?

I do not know.

Just a deer or an elk, or something.

That was not a deer or a moose.

I do not know.

- Could be a bear. - A bear? Are you serious?

It's going well, honey. I promise, I will protect you.

Go to sleep.

When we are eaten, I am going to kill you.

I do not like it.

Tyler?

- What was that? - Shh.

What are you doing?

Just go away look and look.

Well, you said it was a bear. Are you going to watch a bear?

I said it might be a bear.

Tyler, do not go there.

Tyler, what are you ...

Maybe someone is fucking with us. Just...

Honey, it's okay. I'll be right back.

Tyler.

It's me. It's alright. I'm going look. It's alright.

Just stay here.

Tyler?

Its OK dear. It's just me.

Looks like a branch fell on the line.

That is why we heard the ring.

Will you come back?

Yes, give me a moment.

Ty?

Natalie!

Wet!

Wet!

Natalie!

It is a big day for you, Mr. Laird.

Do you want to share your thoughts?

I am excited to go home.

You have shown steady progress here, in the past year.

Last week I recommended your release based on that progress.

Tell me what I made the right decision.

It is not uncommon for a soldier with your experience

to take the blame when such a thing happens.

In the past year You've had everything to do, Tyler.

Hysteria, delusions, nightmares.

The debt of the survivor can ruin lives.

I understand that now.

What is your final conclusion about what really happened there?

It was a bear attack.

And you accept that completely?

No doubt in my mind.

Good...

Good luck with you, Mr. Laird.

Try to find some happiness.

And if you need something, do not hesitate to call me.

Debt of the survivor.

It implies that someone died.

Correct.

They did not find it Natalie's body.

Tyler?

Ty? Is it safe?

Trust me.

Wet!

Natalie!

Wet!

Ty?

Ty?

Mom.

Let's go home, son.

- Thanks mom. - Mm-hmm.

Do you want to talk about it?

I talked about it for months, Mom.

Whatever I say, or how I say it ...

I just sound crazy.

You do not, Ty.

Nothing you said, sounds crazy.

I just keep hearing her screams ...

again and again.

I can not close it.

Oh, Ty.

Those sounds will disappear away with time.

The point is, Mom, I do not want them to leave.

I want to answer.

I just want to answer.

Well, then you have a decision to ...

because you are at a crossroads.

And whatever choice you make it now

is going to shape the rest of your life.

Now you can ...

stop all this behind you.

You can try and accept

what other people say it happened.

You are not, are not you?

That is not the man I raised.

Or you can go back to those forests

and find some answers ...

because I believe you, Ty.

I believe that something

terrible happened there that is unexplained.

And if your father was here,

and something like that like this happened ...

he would not give until he knew it.

Do you remember,

when you were six years old and we've painted all those things

Easter eggs and your father did they hide?

Yes.

And you found them all.

But that was not enough, right?

I had to know where the rabbit was.

Yes, you knew that for sure.

And you searched everywhere. In my garden, in my garden,

- in the garage. - Yes.

You were looking for answers.

I remember dad had to buy a bunny

so that I could find him.

And even then ...

you really wanted to see it how the bunny hid those eggs.

You never stop looking for answers, Ty.

I love you mom.

I'm glad you're at home, but ...

but I know you.

The police

deposited a

box, not so long ago.

It has all that they found at the campsite.

Now, maybe there is something in there

that will throw some light about all this.

It is in the kitchen.

Car trouble, chief?

Hey.

You are in order now.

You can point out that somewhere else?

- Who are you? - A lot of time for chatter, boss.

Make sure you get that thing from my face.

Come on.

What happened in this name?

I do not know.

What did you see?

I saw something.

I'm not sure what it was.

He ripped open my damn door of the hinges.

That could have been a bear.

- A bear? - Yes.

I've seen them do this in Alaska.

Grizzly bears.

Hey,

my camp is about a mile this way.

You look like you could use a beer. I know I can do it.

Let's go.

Follow me.

Come on, boss.

Please.

I know you.

Yes.

You were completely over the pipe about a year ago.

I got it on the news.

You know, people are missing here all the time, boss.

Many rumors fly around in these forests.

Why are you here?

I am pretty sure hunting season is over.

I am not legal.

I take them in and tag them, where and when, I can find them.

Nobody comes here and they...

stay down in the valley or in the interpretative center.

They want to get it that view of the mountains.

Besides, this is private property.

I've seen the signs.

- What is Xylon Incorporated? - Hell if I know.

But...

in all years I was here,

I am never seen

a single person from that company

place a foot anywhere in this area.

That is enough to get someone who is wondering.

- Wonder what exactly? - I have seen

and heard a few things.

And I bet you have also seen and heard them.

Beat in the night.

Trees that resemble some

oversized cheese graters she got it.

Stacked rocks.

The night my fiancée was taken away,

I heard the beating.

I saw some stones.

This morning when you found me ...

something tore in hell from my truck.

It was not a bear.

What exactly were you doing

sleeping in your truck all the way out here?

You tell me something.

Now you are saying that you are here do some illegal hunting.

People are missing left and right.

Are you implying something, friend?

I just try to think what makes a man like you

get up from the morning.

Truck your ass here in these woods.

We both know it is not the safest place to be.

This place has not been safe

long before me and mine, chief.

Come on.

I want to show you something.

Not much further from here, Chief.

Pops always brought me here when I was little.

Taught me how to hunt, fish, camp.

All those good things in life where children are deprived of

in this present embarrassment of a society.

Pops would let us do that everything we want to have here

as long as we followed one rule:

Never go beyond that.

Put Chinook people these hundreds of years ago.

They run miles in both directions.

What do they mean?

If someone puts something like that,

I would call it a circumference.

So, the Chinook,

they did not want anyone go beyond this point?

Or the wise, old bastards do not wants something to come out.

There are many stories about things here.

Things not exactly friendly for people, you know?

Have you ever passed?

Yes.

Once.

This morning.

But I do not think those things actually means a lot more.

Why is that?

Because the mountain blew,

I think it started what is it up here, free.

You want to know Why do I always stay here?

I can deny curiosity everything I want,

but it eventually killed the cat, do you know what I mean?

Not really.

I want to see it.

See what?

The big man.

I do not believe in fairy tales.

No?

What did your girl think, Chief?

What did you wake up from that peaceful slumber this morning?

I do not know,

but I'm not going to leave here I can answer that question.

Well, take comfort.

It is probably looking us now.

Well, I can not say I've seen that before.

I told you so. It is always watching, boss.

Why the tree?

Pretty clear, is not it?

It does not like fire.

This is what you came here for, right?

Do you get answers?

Well, carpe diem, chief.

Whatever it is,

it is a way free.

Why do you say that?

Listen.

Forest is renting out let us know that it is safe.

Jesus, chief.

That is a damn good observation.

If I did not know better, I would say you had a few

military in your background.

Twelve years.

Army Ranger.

Shit.

Guess, I could be here with worse.

YOU?

Well, if you count the look repetitions of M

if serving your country, then absolutely.

Not quite.

Then not.

I am just a normal citizen.

Hey, boss?

What if I am right?

The seal was broken at a given moment.

Is not holding anything that thing back now.

Nobody is safe.

As I said,

Chief.

I do not believe in fairy tales.

Shit.

Oh, boy.

I'll give you a hand, Chief.

We have to move.

- Now. - Yes, I do not

disputes that, chief.

My leg is broken.

Shh.

A bit more, Chief.

I want you to stay still.

I have to look at that leg.

How bad is it, Chief?

I have to set this up.

I saw my backpack over there.

I have stocks.

- Do not go back. - Listen to me.

I do not get it, you do not get it out here.

Photograph everything that moves.

I will return as soon as I can.

Hurry up, Chief. That withdraws again.

Oh baby.

Honey, I'm so sorry.

Hey?

Here, boss.

How are you, boss?

I told you so.

Curiosity has killed the cat.

I will not let you die here.

Show me your bottle.

Bite here.

On three.

A...

two...

We have to keep moving.

Come on.

We have to think about camping, chef.

You think you can do it get in that tree line?

- Yes. - Let's move on.

Asshole.

I appreciate your saving my bacon behind it, chef.

I almost forgot something.

I have this for you.

Are not we really the couple?

- Rolled up here, next to a fire ... - Quiet.

Save your strength.

You need him tomorrow morning.

I have to drink something come tomorrow, chief.

It seems that we are a bit light About that now.

Did you really come here?

to know what has happened to her ...

or did you come here? to come to her?

It's alright.

Most people do not know what is going to happen

until the moment is there.

Anyway, I can see it that you really love her.

Have you ever lost someone you love?

Yes.

I once had a dog.

She could be a real bitch once in a while.

If you came here for answers ...

I'd say you got them, Chief.

It does not like the fire.

It'll be fine.

It goes well.

Hopefully he is gone before the night.

It's not whiskey, but it keeps you hydrated.

Take it easy.

How do you feel?

OK. Stay tuned. I will come back.

Fuck!

Shit.

Fuck.

I hate to tell you, boss.

There is only one way away from here.

Back as we came.

Because of his territory.

And you and I both know that is not a two-man operation.

I will not leave you here.

You will not leave here I regret my ass.

I think of something.

Go to sleep.

I take the first wait tonight.

We will discuss it tomorrow morning.

It is not a discussion.

If you hear something,

- Wake me up. - You just get some rest.

Come on!

Burn, you bastard.

Mr. Laird, you are awake.

Where am I?

You've been through quite a traumatic ordeal.

You've been out for a reasonably long time.

You will have to rest to heal your wounds.

Do you remember what happened?

Yes.

Good.

Good.

There is somebody I would like you to meet ....

Someone who can ...

help you with what you have seen.

I'm not crazy.

I know what I saw.

Nobody says It was you, Mr. Laird.

Tyler Laird.

The only survivor.

Who are you?

I am a man who has your interest in heart and soul.

Are you one of the doctors?

No.

You come from the psychiatric department.

I will not go back there. I know what I saw.

Good, I was hoping that.

I have no intentions to leave someone

take you back to the funny farm, Tyler.

You are really close for him, is not it?

Look at yourself.

So what do you want from me?

Have you ever walked down? a dark street only at night,

maybe to go to your car?

And suddenly you feel that cold chill

running along your back

as if something is looking at you.

When you were a little boy, you did mother leaves the cupboard door open

when she put you down sleep at night?

And that darkness looked out

as if it wanted to to swallow you up.

Did you jump off the bed ...

terrified that something deep, dark down

Would you come there?

Children always know the best.

They know that terror really exists in the world.

And as adults, we are afraid to believe it.

But you, my friend,

am not a child.

You know that there are really things going into the evening.

My name is Jackson Wells,

Tyler.

And I've also seen monsters.

Samples?

That's right.

So this is the real question.

Did you kill it?

I shot it ...

stop it...

stabbed,

and I put that son of a bitch on fire.

So you just made it pissed off.

What the hell is going on here?

We are part of a team,

Mr. Laird.

And I am currently recruiting.
