Did you think you would be safe after you refused an escort order?

Didn't I tell you earlier? That I'm not going to resign and leave my children.

Pan Suk!

Let's go, sir.

[Arrest Warrant]

Do you know this? Above that flying person, there is an earnest one.

Kim Shin Young. On May 11th, 2014 at 9:15 p.m.

You are accused of fleeing the scene of an accident and causing the death of the victim

As issued by the Seoul districts prosecutor's office.

A confirmed arrest warrant. As of May 16,

2014 at the current time of 5:10 p.m.

You are under arrest.

You have the right to obtain a lawyer and make a statement anytime.

Please find that man for me.

There's a simple profile of him inside, but...

his whereabouts have been unknown for six years now so it won't be easy.

He's been working for a different company up until a month ago.

But there hasn't been any progress.

Okay. I'll try and look for him.

I heard Kim Shin Myung got arrested.

Good job.

Have you had dinner? If you haven't... do you want to eat dinner together?

I have no desire to as always.

How about drinks?

Well...

Sa Kyung.

I've been wanting to ask you about something.

Why did you come... to the Gangnam police station?

You knew that I was here.

Why do you think I came?

I'm...

not sure about that.

From the time we met to who you are now...

I don't know you at all.

It would be nice if I did.

For today...

let's just drink.

I don't think this is going to work out.

We might have to go somewhere else to grab a taxi.

Jin Woo...

I miss him so much.

I'm going to become a great cop like my dad.

My dad is the bravest person in the world and he even captures bad people.

Dad, I shot you with the gun! You have to die!

Hurry up!

Dad! Die!

[You are All Surrounded]

[Episode 6] [In my shabby dresser there is an ocean]

Pan Suk, Kim Shin Myung has been set free.

The real criminal has been caught!

What happened? How can Kim Shin Myung be released?

You crazy punk, let go of me!

How can Lee Young Gu be the real criminal?

It wasn't long ago you issued an arrest warrant with your hands.

How can you release Kim Shin Myung?

- Let go, let go of me! - Hey.

Just what the heck is inside your head?

You've never thought of the law as justice, but

at the very least you should have a conscious!

- Pan Suk. - A child died!

- And he was barely seven years old! - Okay, okay. A child did die.

I got it, okay? Let me go.

- Let go. Let go of me. - Pan Suk!

Pan Suk!

Crazy bastard, just where do you think you are?

This is why you can't make it.

Whether it's a child or and adult. It's not important who died.

What's important is who did the killing!

No, Pan Suk! No!

- Let go of me! - Prosecutor Han!

Don't put on a show, punk! Hey!

Let go!

- Prosecutor! - Prosecutor!

Prosecutor Han! Wake up! Prosecutor Han!

Prosecutor!

- Hey... - Prosecutor Han!

A concussion? Then when will he come to his senses?

I'm not sure... at the earliest, he might wake up in two to three hours.

The stitches turned out well so just wait a little bit.

Please take good care of him.

Have you come to your senses, Prosecutor?

- Help... help me up. - Yes, sir!

Are you okay?

Get away from me!

How...

many stitches did I get?

Seventeen stitches.

Seventeen?

Please give me a copy of my medical report this instant.

You bastard, you're dead! I'm definitely

going to put you in jail for assault!

Is that the first thing to say as soon as you wake up?

- Go ahead. - What are you doing?

Because I'm definitely going to catch

Kim Shin Myung again and put him in jail as well!

What's wrong with you?

It's always the stupid idiots that show off like this.

Can you not grasp the situation right now?

You said giving up your badge is the thing you're most afraid of, right?

Wait because I'll make sure to take your badge away from you!

Prosecutor...

Prosecutor...

Go and prepare the written complaint!

And call the reporters.

I'll show them the class and level of the Korean

police who assault an incumbent prosecutor!

I'm on my way to the orphanage.

Like you said since the man with black boots

appeared, he might look for me again.

I want to talk to the director.

Yes.

You don't remember?

No.

You don't even remember your name, age or where you lived?

I don't remember anything.

Okay, I got it. Let's call and report it to the police first.

Your family might be anxiously looking for you.

Ah, but...

You don't remember anything at all?

No.

And have you gone to the police station?

Hey, where are you going?

My name, age or where I live... I don't remember anything.

Can't you just let me live here?

- Have you eaten? - No.

Then, let's eat first. Come here.

Hello.

Dae Gu.

Director!

I'm sorry for not coming often.

Your existence alone is a source of strength to the kids here.

You know you're an idol to these kids here, right?

To tell you the truth... I came here to ask a favor from you.

I knew you came here because something's going on.

What is it? Tell me.

Someone might come here and ask about me.

This man might come or someone else.

If by chance someone comes...

and asks if there was a child who came here

eleven years ago and obtained a new identity...

Tell them that child doesn't exist and that you don't anything about it.

I don't think it's this man, but

there was a man who came to ask about you with a

picture of you in his hand saying that he was a cop.

It hasn't been ten minutes, he might still be here...

What do you want?

What do you want?

- Student! - It's not his voice.

Are you a student that came to volunteer?

Have you come to help move the cabbages?

No, I'm not.

I'm sorry.

He's not here. There's no one with a burn mark.

Bingo. You must be Ji Young.

No... it's Eun Dae Gu now.

Director! What did that man look like? He had burn mark on his face, right?

No, there wasn't a scar like that.

There wasn't?

- Are you sure? - Yes, there were no scars.

Yes, it's me.

I was one step late, he already came!

He pretended to be a cop and took my name and phone number.

No, it wasn't Park Seung Ho's face.

But...

She said there were no burn marks on his face.

Yes. I thought I would be able to identify

him easily if I ever ran into him.

It's probably one or the other.

The acid I threw in his face wasn't

exactly acid or he got cosmetic surgery.

I wanted to ask because I was curious about that as well.

Why is the man with the black boots looking for me again?

Is he trying to kill me now?

Detective Eun! Don't you think this is a bit harsh? I was just messing around!

Why did you mess around then?

Hey, who is supposed to be angry here?

What are you, a barking tyrant?

All you have to do is apologize if you're sorry!

Seriously, he's so weird!

Hey, barking Dae Gu! Let's go together! Dae Gu, Dae Gu!

Hey, did something happen? There's a bunch of reporters outside.

You don't know anything? You haven't seen the news?

What news?

Look at you... then you don't about Kim Shin Myung being released either.

Kim Shin Myung got released? Why?

We secured real evidence and an arrest warrant!

Lee Young Gu the chauffeur, claimed he did it and turned himself in.

What? What kind of nonsense is that?

He pretty much confessing that he was the one who drove the car!

That's why we're going nuts. We worked so hard to capture that evil jerk.

But more than that, there's a bigger problem.

Oh my gosh.

[Another disgraceful fall from the police,

a detective assaulting a prosecutor...]

[A bill for the police's independent authority

to investigate, will they collapse again?]

What are you trying to do?

Why would you create such a mess like this?

I'm sorry.

Were you always that kind of a person, detective Seo?

How could you have been a detective and a team leader all

this time when you can't even control your feelings?

How could you disappoint me like this in such a short time?

I'm sorry.

Because of you, do you know how much the police are at risk right now?

Everyone has been working hard with our long cherished goal...

to push forward the bill for the independent

authority to investigate this year!

Due to your reckless action, it seems like bill will be denied again!

More than ever, when the citizens need to trust

the police on serious matters like this.

We have a detective assaulting a prosecutor?

I'm sorry.

Did you become a parrot all of a sudden?

Don't you know how to say anything else besides sorry?

Team leader Seo... an arrest warrant has been issued.

What...

If it's been issued then it needs to be executed.

He must take full responsibility for his actions.

Once again I'm sorry... for disappointing you.

Chief Cha.

Starting today, I want team three to be off duty and have them on standby.

And the cause of all this incident...

transfer the Kim Moon Joon case to team one

and take care of it as soon as possible.

Chief, just for that case alone...

Lee Young Goo is not the real criminal!

Do you still not get it?

Do you still not understand the situation

that you have caused right now?

Have you...

heard these words before?

'The misfortune you are going through now is

the revenge for the time you wrongly spent.'

Since all you have is time now, reflect on what you did wrong in jail.

The times of violent anger, arrogance and impudence.

How you behaved outrageously!

Incarcerate him.

Team leader Seo.

Where are you going?

Come here.

Rest a bit. I'll go to Prosecutor Han.

Why would you go there? There's no need to go.

And he's not the type of person to listen to your appeal.

Still, we should at least try.

I told you that's not necessary!

There's no need for you to go and bow your head to a person like that!

It will just be my body bowing, not my heart.

So why did you punch...

This is a hundred times better than having you resign.

And it seems like the chief wants you to back off from this situation.

Since it's such a sensitive matter as it is.

Even if it was understandable, I was a little disappointed.

Honestly, the way I feel right now...

if they said 'Hey, turn in your badge!' then 'Yes, I understand.'

That's what I want to do. I'm so disgusted.

Still...

console the kids well.

Along with Kim Shin Myung being released...

they're probably shocked in many ways.

Don't worry.

Chief Cha is having a ball right now, isn't he?

What is this?

Seo Pan Suk, what are you doing?

The man with the black boots finally called!

They're like brothers.

Hurry it up!

Are these all the records and documents related to the hit and run case?

Yes.

Now that the real criminal is caught, take

care of it as soon as possible and send him for prosecution.

Yes, I understand.

Starting today, team three has been disbanded temporarily.

You are prohibited from all cases.

And you will standby until further notice.

A standby does not mean that you should go and have fun!

It means to help all the teams that need support, got it?

It's been hectic since this morning, hasn't it?

Should we go and eat first?

All right, let's eat.

At time like this, you need to eat a lot and be strong.

What's going to happen to team leader Seo now, sir?

The team leader from team one told us that team

leader Seo might have to resign, is that true?

We don't know anything yet.

We won't know the results until the audit starts.

But the best solution is for Prosecutor Han to have a change of heart.

Seriously, does this makes sense?

That evil jerk, Kim Shin Myung was set free.

And our innocent team leader gets taken in.

How is he innocent? He used violence.

He only hit him once!

And team leader Seo wasn't the only to throw a punch. Prosecutor Han also...

Don't you think it's about time to stop saying such stupid nonsense?

Whether he struck once or twice, he inflicted bodily harm!

That's exactly violence, and a crime according to the law!

As a team leader, any excuses whatsoever cannot justify his actions.

I agree.

If he had any consideration for the team

members, he should've refrained himself.

It could break the team apart.

He's not wrong.

You're all correct, but try to be strong still

and while you're helping out the other teams...

We need to keep investigating Kim Shin Myung.

What for? He's going to be released again if we put him in jail.

Hey, Ji Gook. It's not like you to be so chic... and cynical.

So, we should just let Kim Shin Young run

loose when team leader Seo is in jail?

Right? That's shouldn't happen, right?

Yes!

You're the best Soo Sun.

So, what's the point of catching and putting him in jail?

Is that going to change the world?

There's so many evil jerks.

Doing that would...

make a difference... it would make a difference.

It would make a difference.

Now, now, now! Let's eat first. Go ahead and eat.

I couldn't answer right away Ji Gook's question.

If the world doesn't change...

Why do we spend sleepless nights here

investigating, not being able to go home and

having to eat our first meal at three in the afternoon?

Another scandalous situation occurred.

- He assaulted a prosecutor? - I'm sorry.

Even if he struck him a hundred times, it was a reckless conduct.

The person at fault is reflecting deeply.

I'll make him take responsibility... for

whatever he needs to be responsible for.

The subcommittee meeting will be starting soon.

Do you think I'll be able to bring up the

independent authority for police investigation bill?

It won't get any bigger.

Prosecutor Han also has a lot of other problems...

he himself wouldn't want this situation to be magnified.

Chief Kang, your strong point is the ability to

look confident no matter what the circumstance.

You're sitting down.

I thought you would be pacing back and forth in anger.

I'm ashamed.

It's fine as long as you know.

Don't be so disappointed with chief Kang.

She's passionate and sensitive about the bill more than anyone.

What's there to be disappointed about? It's my fault.

You feel relieved, don't you?

You really hated my work as a detective.

I was going to try and hold it in, but I just can't.

Does that even make sense right now?

At one point, I thought you were quite sexy.

But you really became a pillbug now, haven't you?

Do you not have brain?

If you were going to quit in this manner

then you should have quit earlier!

Before we sent our Jin Woo to the afterlife!

You wouldn't give up you job after Jin Woo passed away like that.

Just because you caught by a rotten scum like prosecutor Han...

Is that why held on for so long so you could quit like this?

You...

were horrible as Jin Woo's father, but...

I acknowledge you...

as a detective.

It's not bad to have a detective like you in this world.

No... I wish there were more.

So, get over this crisis... by whatever means necessary.

And Kim Shin Myung...

catch and put him in jail again.

Excuse me.

You remember me, right?

No. I don't know you.

Find out about Lee Young Gu's family.

There has to be a good reason why he took

the fall for Kim Shin Myung's crime.

I should've just helped the other teams instead!

- Hey, do we still have a ways to go? - How am I supposed to know?

This my first time coming to this neighborhood.

You heart must be broken because of the team leader.

Be strong, man.

It's hot.

Lee Young Goo?

What kind of crime would a kind and steady bachelor

like him commit to have the police looking for him?

What is Lee Young Gu's family situation like?

The only family he has is his little sister.

You have no idea how much he cherishes her.

But that little girl is sick. Can you imagine how he feels right now?

Young Goo said she'll be able to get surgery soon.

Thank you.

This is the patient.

Who are you?

Are you my brother's friend?

My brother got dumped by his girlfriend again, right?

It's obvious. When he goes into hiding, it's exactly because of that reason.

You must be very close to your brother.

Of course.

I've been living with my brother after my mom and dad passed away.

Do you have a...

I mean, do you have an older brother, too?

Me?

- We passed the bathroom. - Sorry.

- Can you go in by yourself? - It's not a problem.

Park Tae Il.

Hey, Dae Gu.

What brings you here?

Lee Young Gu's sister is hospitalized.

She went to the bathroom.

Let's talk later in detail, Hyun Mi might come out.

That's good. You're heading to the police station, right?

Give this to detective Seo.

Tell him it will be quite useful in getting released.

All right.

I think it's because of his sister's surgery fee.

His sister will be having heart valve surgery this Friday.

Young Goo.

I'll just say your name, okay?

You're not sleeping, right?

When I went to see Kim Shin Myung that day.

You heard it and I heard it, too. What Kim Shin Myung said.

That's why you know and I know, too.

That Kim Shin Myung was the one who drove the car.

I don't know why you're taking the blame for his crime like this.

I don't know everything, but...

If you think...

you're doing this for your sister... in the end, you know that's not right.

That one thing I do know.

Because...

at one point... I thought like you.

I wanted to create a little cleaner and better world for my son.

The only thing I enjoyed was working as an officer.

I was the only excited about it.

That was all for my son.

And I thought I was a good and admirable father.

But...

the best father in the world....

is a father who stays by his son's side.

That's it.

I realized it after I lost my son.

I always thought...

there would be a next time.

The first day my son stood up.

The first day he walked.

The first day he went to kindergarten. Even...

when my son passed away...

I couldn't stay by his side.

I thought next time, when he enters elementary school, I'd be there for sure...

When he graduates from middle school. When he enters college.

I always thought there would be a next time.

Young Goo.

The moment your sister needs you the most...

is not next time...

but is always right now.

Go to sleep.

Squad leader it's me. Kim Shin Myung has left for the airport right now.

What? When?

Why are you just telling me that now?

Okay, I'll do what I can to stop him!

Go to the hospital this instant and bring Hyun Mi if you can!

You just need to sign.

[Bastard]

You may leave, Ms. Bastard.

What? That punk is crazy!

- Hey, come here! - Eun Dae Gu!

Hey, Kim Shin Myung is leaving the country right now!

Police officers... hey! Hey! Where are you going? Hey!

- Where are you going? - Hurry and start the car!

Okay!

A car showed up that was at the scene of the crime that day!

Kim Hyung Gon of the Gangnam parcel service!

Check the black box this instant!

Is there a Kim Hyung Gon of the Gangnam parcel service here? I'm sorry!

Kim Hyung Gon of the Gangnam parcel service!

Over here! Over here!

Kim Hyung Gon of the Gangnam parcel service?

Kim Hyung Gon of the Gangnam parcel service!

Hello. My name is detective Ji Gook and I'm the one who called you.

I'll have to check the recording on your black box.

- Sure, sure. Please get it. - Thank you!

Uh Soo Sun! It's an emergency right now! Hurry

and run to the airport with Eun Dae Gu now!

It's a 5:05 p.m. flight to New York! Catch him no matter what!

- He's not here! - Over there!

- It's Kim Shin Myung! Follow me! - What?

Is this detective Kim? It's me Eung Do. Relay this message to Pan Suk for me.

Kim Shin Myung is about to leave the country

and that I'll arrest him without a warrant in the meantime.

And tell him that it's urgent for Lee Young Gu

to make a decision as soon as possible!

Hey, Park Tae Il.

- What brings you here? - Team leader Seo.

Detective Eun told me to relay this to you.

He said it would useful for your release.

You bastard.

Give me your phone.

Ah yes, prosecutor Han. This is detective Seo.

So... have you gotten your stitches out?

Min Joon.

Goodness, Min Joon! Oh no!

What's wrong with this?

What's wrong with this? What's wrong with this?

What's wrong with this? Seriously!

Young Gu.

Hyun Mi.

Why are you here? You can't be here! Leave quickly!

You can't be here. Leave quickly.

Young Gu. What's that on your hands?

Did you do something bad?

No.

It's nothing.

I'll be right there so hurry and go to the hospital, okay?

Is it because of me?

If you're going to be a bad person because of me...

than I'd rather die.

It's not like that.

Hurry and go to the hospital.

Hyun Mi... Hyun Mi! I... my sister is sick.

Wait! Detective!

Did he check the black box?

Did Kim Shin Myung's driving get recorded

for sure on the black box? What did he say?

- Damn it! - Why? it's not going to work?

It didn't get recorded?

Shin Myung, I'm here.

You can't lose Kim Shin Myung!

Grab onto his pants if you have to until I get there!

Jung In!

What is this?

You still haven't gotten your act together and you're two-timing again?

Honey! I've waited so long for you!

You're not going to go like this, right?

What is this? Jung In, it's a misunderstanding!

Seriously, you're the only one for me!

What is this? Let go! I said let go!

- Jung In. - Honey! All I have is you!

- Are you crazy? - No! No!

You bastards! What are you guys doing? Hurry and get her off of me!

Hey, Uh Soo Sun!

- Hey! - Run, run, run!

Ma'am, Ma'am! Please move!

Everything is inside here.

You'll know when you see it.

Thank you.

It's... still not too late for me, right?

Of course not.

I'll make sure that you get out before Hyun Mi's surgery.

Just wait a bit.

Thank you.

Hey, he just needs to miss that plane, right?

If he misses that plane, Kim Shin Myung can't leave, right?

What are you guys doing? Hurry and stop them!

Now I remember. You guys are cops, right?

Hey, hurry and stop them!

Stop!

Kim Shin Myung!

You guys have completely lost it trying to catch me.

Go ahead then. On what grounds are you trying to catch me?

We're going to take you in for this.

Squad leader Lee!

I killed a child while driving drunk.

I heard your sister's going to die because

you don't have the money for surgery.

You drove and killed the child and that's

how you're going to save your sister.

You understand what I'm saying, right Young Gu?

Where did you get this?

Detective Eun, Detective Uh.

Arrest Kim Shin Myung for violating the

Additional Punishment Law on Specific Crimes

and for attempting to escape.

Yes, sir.

You worked hard, Team leader.

You guys were the ones who worked hard.

Team leader!

Team leader!

When did you get out? You must've suffered a lot!

It's such a relief! It's such a relief, team leader!

Look at her!

Goodness.

- Pan Suk! You really worked hard. - You put in a lot of effort.

You guys, suffered a lot, too.

How does it feel? To catch Kim Shin Myung again?

It's awesome!

That right there... is the taste of success.

The feeling of catching a culprit for the first time.

A culprit that you wanted to catch so badly.

Congratulations on your first taste of success.

Finally, you guys have become new detectives.

Congratulations!

The envelope...

I got it well.

Thanks to you...

Thanks.

There's no need. I didn't do it for you.

I just didn't want the team to get broken up.

However, with this incident... I was quite disappointed with you.

You firmly emphasized that the violent crimes

unit is a team but with your actions...

it was quite irrelevant.

Are you usually inconsistent with your words and

actions while being strict with others...

but generous to yourself?

Hey, Eun Dae Gu.

Considering the timing, this question is a bit random.

But I can't stop myself.

By any chance...

do you have something against me?

You were like this from the beginning towards me.

By any chance...

do you know me?

Do you know me?

Is there anyone who doesn't know about the legendary Seo Pan Suk?

Amongst rookie detectives?

[Sawol-dong 122-7 House of Happiness]

[House of Happiness]

In conclusion, you're not Hae Ji. How can you become an actor?

Kim Ji Young?

Wait, wait!

You're Ji Young, aren't you?

Right?

You're Kim Ji...
