When evil threatens the world,

the warriors of hope will always appear.

Garbed in Cloths of the constellations,

they fight by exploding the energy within them:

their Cosmo.

They are the warriors who

protect the love and peace of the world...

The Saints!

Saint Koga's journey to find Athena continues.

The Saint Fight will decide the strongest of the young Saints.

His first opponent is Circinus Hook.

It is a difficult battle,

but with Soma and the others cheering him on,

he uses Pegasus Senkou Ken, to earn a comeback victory.

The crowd goes wild.

But their cheers suddenly turn to terrified silence.

Eden has won his first match in a single strike.

Young men, let the Cosmo in your hearts burn!

This concludes the first round of the Saint Fight.

So these are the top eight, huh?

Well, Eden of course.

Ryuho and Yuna are good choices,

but I didn't expect Soma and Koga to last, as well.

I just can't accept it...

It's no fun at all!

The remaining eight fighters are

to rest up for tomorrow's battle.

I expect a splendid fight from all of you tomorrow.

Tomorrow, my round two is with you, Koga.

Can you fight with those wounds?

They'll make a good handicap.

The Fists of Friendship! Unleash the Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!

The Fists of Friendship!

Unleash the Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!

Hey, are you two sure about this?

You'll be too heavy to move.

Gotta eat...

To get ready for the fight tomorrow!

I'm gonna beat Soma...

I can't lose to Koga!

Give me that...

I grabbed it first!

You're hurt. Go rest!

I'm fine!

Hey! You jerk!

You guys...

It's... It's bitter...

It's an herb tea my family's made for generations.

It gets rid of your fatigue.

My mom used to make it all the time,

when my dad was tired from training.

He would drink this tea to rid himself of fatigue,

and to see him through his difficult training.

Now, then...

I think I'm going to rest for tomorrow.

Already?

For better or worse, tomorrow will decide the winner.

Everyone, let's all do our best.

I'm gonna win, no matter what.

Hey, it won't be that easy.

You're fighting me in the second round, after all.

Eden!

Your battle is a mere warm-up act to my victory match.

What?

Hey, stop it!

He'll shock you stiff and defeat you again.

He didn't defeat me! I just went numb!

If you make trouble here, you'll be disqualified from the Saint Fight!

I don't wanna win by default.

A warm-up?

That Eden guy pisses me off!

Don't get so mad.

I don't want to hear it from you.

I'll have to deal with Eden eventually.

I'll beat him. Don't worry.

Wait a sec.

That would mean you're gonna win.

Of course I am.

No other way it can possibly go down.

I'm not gonna lose, okay?

I know you can't lose, for your dad's sake.

But me, too... I have to see Saori-san.

I can't lose...

I get it. Go to bed.

Can't have a good fight without a good rest.

Let's both try hard tomorrow.

So if I can make my Cosmo more powerful,

I'm certain I can bring him back to his original state.

I'm going to become a strong Saint,

and defeat the Marsians!

And I will restore my dad's name!

Their dads, huh?

I don't know my dad,

but I have old man Tatsumi and Shaina-san.

Shaina-san's just as tough and scary as any dad.

Pegasus Seiya...

Why are you standing out here and mumbling?

U-U-Um...

You're gonna burn yourself out like that.

Staying in top condition is part of the fight.

It's just a good warm-up.

Hey...

You know Seiya, right?

Yeah, I do.

What was Seiya like?

Does it bother you?

Yeah, I guess.

He was the last guy to wear the Pegasus Cloth,

and everyone keeps bringing him up.

I fought him once.

Really?

He didn't budge an inch from my attacks.

No matter how many times he went down, he stood back up.

And he saved Athena many times.

With the Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken.

Never give up...

Never lose hope!

That's what he was like.

Hope...

Yeah.

If you ask me,

I think Seiya's still fighting, somewhere.

Now, get to bed.

Get ready for tomorrow's fight.

I'm gonna stay out here a while longer.

Whatever...

Don't blame me when you drop dead.

What?

Soma.

What is this?

I have a bad feeling.

What's wrong, Yuna?

Nervous?

I'm fine.

Come to think of it,

why do you want to win the Saint Fight?

I...

I...

Aquila Yuna, get ready.

Right!

I...

I want to be a strong Saint.

I don't want to lose anything else!

It's time for the first match.

Aquila Yuna.

Her opponent is Delphinus Guney.

Begin the battle!

I'll end this instantly.

Okay!

That's the end of that.

No, not yet.

Not bad...

Guess I'll get serious.

This rain is a shower of blessings.

It's perfect for the water Element of Delphinus Guney.

I'll follow you everywhere.

Come on, Yuna!

I can't lose here...

I'll finish this now!

Delphinus Bomb!

I'm going to be a strong Saint!

I'm going to win the quarterfinals!

Yuna!

You never had a chance to beat me.

I am a wind Element Saint.

I can use these fierce winds.

I can't possibly lose here!

My Delphinus Bomb...

Divine Tornado!

Wow...

I didn't know she was so strong.

The winner is Aquila Yuna!

You did it, Yuna.

Congratulations!

Nice job!

It's finally our turn.

Yeah.

Come at me as hard as you can, okay?

I can handle it.

Don't forget those words.

I'll make you regret them.

Let's go.

Yeah!

Koga and Soma...

Which will win?

I hope they have a good fight.

It's time for the second match.

Pegasus Koga versus Lionet Soma.

Both fighters, get ready.

Begin!

The rain stopped...

My flames will burn that much brighter!

I'll dodge your flames at the speed of light.

Not bad, Koga!

You, too. Way to start the fight, Soma.

Those two won't give an inch, will they?

Let's end this quickly!

Yeah, I'll end it in a single strike.

His Element?

Flame Desperado!

Is that all you've got, Koga?!

I'm just getting started.

Show me!

Pegasus Senkou Ken!

Not long ago, you were just a kid who couldn't use his Element.

I'm surprised...

You can use your Element more than I expected.

I felt that!

Same here.

I've never felt that attack before, but it was rather impressive!

Flame Desperado!

Pegasus Senkou Ken!

Our power is increasing in the midst of battle?

We grow in battle, when we use our power on one another.

Is this what it means to be a Saint?

That was close...

But even if you are a light Element,

you still aren't accustomed to using it...

I have the advantage in an Element fight!

Burn, my Cosmo!

Burn!

Soma's Cosmo is getting larger...

Dad, I'll get stronger.

And I'll take revenge for you!

Lionet

Burning Fire!

Soma!

He's awakened to his ultimate technique?

Th-That attack's amazing...

So that's how strongly he feels about being a Saint?

I can't move my body...

No matter how many times he went down, he stood back up.

And he saved Athena many times.

With the Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken.

With the Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken...

I did it back there.

That is your Cosmo.

Seiya?

What?

Sorry, but I can't lose here.

I...

I'm going to win and meet Athena.

This time, I'll protect Athena...

I'll protect Saori-san.

Like Seiya did!

I won't lose, either!

Lionet

Burning Fire!

Pegasus

Ryu Sei Ken!

Seiya?

Ryu Sei Ken...

The winner is Pegasus Koga!

That kid...

Soma!

Are you okay?

Ryuho. Yuna.

Soma...

What was that thing?

You never told me about that.

Well, you never said you could do something that amazing, either.

Stop it!

Ow...

Be careful, darn it.

Careful!

Koga...

Win and meet Athena, okay?

Yeah.

I see.

Then Athena-sama will be here soon?
