Lashauwn Beyond: This is not RuPaul's Best Friend Race.

Laganja Estranja: I feel very attacked!

Vanjie: I was trying to reach closure with you!

Silky: If I would've lip synced for my life today, bitch,

I was ready to do so!

RuPaul: This is Untucked, backstage at the competition

to become America's next drag superstar.

Girl, if you're not watching Untucked,

you're only getting half the story.

Director: Break on the main stage.

All cameras re-po.

RuPaul: Thanks, ladies.

Now, while you untuck backstage,

the judges and I will deliberate.

You may leave the stage.

I am in heaven right now.

I had the audience laughing the entire time nonstop.

I cannot believe that I did what I did.

I'm so speechless.

It's everything I wanted and more!

It's really hard when you are closing the show.

Everybody in the middle could be hilarious,

and they need you to match that same energy.

And even though I tried to work hard as I could,

the end is a bad position,

and I knew that it was gonna bite me in my ass.

Imma have to do what I have to do

to prove to the judges that I deserve to still be here.graphic

Go ahead.

All right, guys, here we go.

-Oh, child, child, child, child. -Girls.

All right, ladies.

Yes, yes, yes.

Girls, ghouls.

Girls, girls!

-Ooh, okay. -Cocktail.

I'm down.

I don't think that's gonna work. Uh!

-You so difficult, Jackie. -[laughs]

How is everybody feeling?

As a top, I will have to say I'm bottoming this week.

I am incredibly sorry.

I don't know how much time passed.

I don't--that blew my mind.

Long-winded Sherry, honey.

I was enjoying it, but I was like,

oh, my God, this is taking a long time.

Like, a really long time.

Sorry.

It is what it is.

It, like--it didn't work and it didn't work.

That's just really it, you know?

Yeah.

At the beginning of the competition,

I was at the top.

And just last week, I was at the top.

And now, I find myself in the bottom.

There's so few girls,

all it takes is one mistake and you're out the door.

All I can just feel is, like, just disappointment.

I feel really good

because of the positive critiques that they gave me.

So I'm kind of riding on, like, a strange high.

But I also know that the bottoms of the week

are me and Heidi and Jaida.

Mm-hmm.

I think, like, me and Heidi

received such different critiques

that it's so hard to tell which of us--

I don't wanna say failed more.

-[laughs] -I mean, really.

I mean, it's like neither of us--

and neither of us completely tanked it, either.

Yeah.

Right now, I'm not feeling too confident.

I'm just concerned that I'm not showing

exactly what the judges have been asking to see from me.

So if I end up in the bottom two

and end up having to lip sync this week,

I cannot go home.

I'm here to claw my way to the top

and get the crown in this competition.

We received such very different critiques,

I don't even know, like, which one of us

is gonna end up being in the bottom.

Well, and of the three of you,

I've heard all of the judges

say so many amazing things about all three of you.

It's gonna be very difficult

for them to actually send one of you home.

-Yeah. -Baby.

I just feel bad, mostly for Jaida.

Miss Jaida, I get that you're annoyed you had to go last,

but someone had to go last.

I mean, I get that, but...

But what?

I'm not saying anything.

Girl, stop.

I didn't throw you under the bus.

-Did you choose to go last? -No.

-So Jackie assigned you last? -Yes.

Jaida's had a rough night,

so in the moment we're onstage, I'm not gonna say anything.

But backstage, I'm gonna ask her about this.

I did say, like, I would like to go second or third,

and then I got placed last.

But then you also said, "I could go, you know, last."

No, obviously you know that is not a fact.

That is obviously not a fact.

Jaida's denying that she ever volunteered to be last,

and we need to roll back those tapes,

because she clearly said that she would go last.

I wouldn't mind going, like, second or third.

I'm with Jaida.

I wanna go kind of in the beginning.

I just don't wanna close the show, I'll tell you that.

Jaida, I know you didn't, like, want to be last.

I mean, I don't care at this point.

If it's gonna be funny, bitch, it's gonna be funny.

All right, Jaida. Jaida signed up for it.

Speak now, because I don't want people to come back

and tell me things are shady later.

I did not wanna go last,

but when everybody else had already had position,

it didn't matter if I go last

because I really don't have a choice and a say,

so it really didn't matter.

Girl, you offered to go in that spot.

Either she has selective memory

or she's just trying to blame this performance on me.

It's not my fault she's in the bottom.

It's not my fault she went last.

Don't be coming for me, saying that I assigned this to you,

and I even gave you a chance to object at the end of it all.

I'm not, like, mad at you.

I just thought, maybe, like, you were mad at me.

Now I feel like you, like, trying to make it a thing.

I'm just telling-- I just told you now,

like, I did not choose to go last...

-[sighs] Child. -But I was last.

Okay.

Girl. Come on now, baby.

You know for a fact

that I didn't wanna have to close the show.

I wanted to go more towards the middle.

But the thing is is nobody wanted to close the show,

and I got stuck, and you know that.

I mean, I think they loved a lot of things about what you did.

Bitch, I don't think so.end act

Heidi, how are you feeling?

I feel, you know... I feel good.

Making it so close to the end will sting

if I don't make it to that very end.

Yeah.

But you know, I've lasted longer

than what y'all thought, especially this one.

[laughs] Okay, bitch.

You think that Heidi N Closet is your weakest competition.

Just based off first impressions.

Well, Heidi, what do you say to that.

Fuck all them bitches.

Oh! [all laugh]

I didn't know you, bitch.

I know, I know.

Oh, I knew from week one that I was--

I had my doubts.

[all laugh]

I've shown what this little-town country girl could do.

Bitch.

Me and Jaida have grown really close

since the initialation of--

"Initialation?" What's this?

What is this? "Initialation."

That's not a word. That's not a word.

Since the very beginning of our premiere

and throughout this whole competition,

I really wanted to prove to Jaida

that I belong here and I deserve my spot.

And, you know, I did that.

There's no shame at this point in whatever may happen.

-Crystal, you have this win. -Yeah.

You guys! Thank you.

I had no idea you could do that.

-Thank you. -I hope you do that show.

You guys, I don't even know.

It was, like, such an outrageous idea,

and, like, going in

when Ru, like, did not understand it at first.

He was like, "You're gonna be a male stripper?"

And I was like, "Yes."

And I just knew that I had to be really, really weird.

It just felt really good to be out there,

like, acting a fool in front of people.

And, yeah, you guys, I haven't won anything yet,

and I'm just really happy and really excited.

For such a long time,

the other girls may not have always seen me as a full threat

because they think I'm just goofy

and underestimate me a little bit.

I am weird, but I'm a serious competitor and I can do this

and I can win this competition.

I think what's amazing about you, Crystal,

is I think those first few weeks

is they saw your makeup as a mask.

-Yeah. -And as they got to know you,

I think they got to see the person

that lives through the mask, you know?

-Yeah. -Like, you basically changed

their entire mind around what Crystal is.

Jackie, how are you feeling?

In this critique, I saw that big smile break over Ru's face

and she said, "I fell in love with you."

I finally was able to show her who I am,

and that's all--you know, just like you, Crystal,

like, that's all I've wanted to do this whole time

is, like, finally show them who I really am.

But it's so much easier said than done.

[gasps]

-Oh! -Oh!

-Oh, no! -Wow!

-Oh, my God. -Hi!

We get more time with you?

-Oh, my gosh! -Stop!

Aah! It's Whoopi!

Hey, baby.

-Hi. -Hey.

Workshopping with Whoopi, it was like a master class in comedy.

-Hello, darling. -Hello.

She was dropping nuggets of wisdom

basically that you could live your life by, and it's amazing.

And I didn't expect to see her here.

I love it, I love it.

Can I just say that I wish you were here every week.

-Yeah. -Yeah.

You should be a permanent judge on this show.

Can you please?

Listen, here's the thing.

You all know so much more than you realize that you know.

And the only thing I would say to anybody

is, you know, there are always gonna be people

you think are funnier than you

or more attractive than you or smarter than you.

The question is, are they gonna stop you from being you?

Yeah.end act

Even if somebody is really, really funny

or a really, really great actor

or a really, really great performer

doesn't preclude you from being as good.

And that's what you always have to carry with you.

It's not that they're better. They're as good.

You are as good.

Put yourself here and not here.

Never start yourself down here.

Everybody else will do that for you.

They'll try to put you down here.

Always walk up this way--

in the light, with your head up,

and a fuck you on your lips.

[all laugh]

You know, you're not taking me down.

Nothing's taking me down.

Not you, not anybody else, except me.

If I'm gonna go down, I'm gonna do it myself.

But I'm not gonna let you do it.

It won't necessarily always make people wanna be your friend.

But if that's okay with you,

then you could be an individual, and it's fantastic.

Sometimes lonesome, but fantastic.

Oh, my God.

I wish that I could spend every day with Whoopi,

because she's so smart.

I wish that I could call her up and ask her advice

on every life decision that I make.

She is so wise. Wow.

Just watching everything that you did tonight,

all the things that I know you went back and thought about,

it was just--it was magnificent.

You know, you can have these conversations with pros,

and they will never listen.

They'll always do it the way they think they should do it,

and that's the gorgeous part of everything that I saw tonight.

You're not afraid of it.

It was just heaven to watch.

Every one of you. Every one of you.

And, you know, I see the show, and it's fantastic.

You know, my family's here,

and they're all devotees.

See, they're all over there and stuff.

-Oh, hi! -Thank you guys for coming!

-Hi, family! -Fuck Gary!

-Fuck. -Gary, please.

[all laugh]

The one in the distressed denim?

Tell her to buy you a new jacket.

[laughs]

On the floor. On the floor.

"Fuck you, Gary."

I think I'm gonna watch

everything you're saying on repeat

or make an audio recording

and have it in my ear forever from now on.

I wanna carry around,

like, words of wisdom from Whoopi in my pocket.

The only words of wisdom from me to you

that you ever need is...

What's the most important thing?

The most important thing is...

I give it my all and do my best.

That's it.

And that's from my mom to you all.

Give it your all.

Wow, thank you.

And do your best.

Yeah, she was pretty cool. I liked her a lot.

I liked her a lot.

Joel, please don't do this to us.

-Five minutes! -Five more minutes.

Queens, sorry.

-Do not take her away from us. -Whoopi, I gotta take you away.

Say goodbye, Queens. Sorry.

-Thank you for today. -Thank you.

-Thank you. -So kind.

Thanks for giving me permission to be myself.

Yeah, shit, fly.

Fuck 'em. They all want you to walk. Fly.

[cheering]

Queens, you got two minutes. Two minutes, Queens.

-Two? -Two minutes?

-Are you shitting me? -Really?

Oh, God.

I'm worried right now

because I've worked really, really hard to be here.

And at this point, it would be so sad

to see all of that hard work go right out the window.

My dream is to win this competition.

So whatever I have to do to stay in this competition,

I'm gonna do it.

I can see the writing on the wall.

I'm gonna be lip syncing.

But I'm gonna show you that I'm here for a reason,

regardless of if this is my fourth time in the bottom,

if this is my eighth time in the bottom.

Whoever I'm lip syncing against,

they could have wigs on wigs on wigs

on wigs on costume changes.

I don't care.

They are going to remember who Heidi is.

All right, Queens, please follow me to the runway.

-Jaida. -Come on over.

-I love you. You're incredible. -Thank you.GRAPHIC

RuPaul: Welcome back, ladies.

Heidi.

Jaida Essence Hall.

The time has come for you to lip sync

for your...

life.

Jaida Essence Hall, shantay you stay.

[sniffles]

My dear Heidi.

No more hiding in closets.

Michelle: Yeah! [applause]

Thank you all so much for seeing something in me,

even when I didn't see something in myself.

RuPaul: You are a superstar.

Now sashay away.

-Heidi! -Whoo!

[sobs]

I don't want to leave,

but I'm proud of this journey.

Yes, it's hard getting so close

and feeling like you didn't have enough to get there.

But there's just so much more in the future

to look forward to, you know.

This isn't the end for Heidi.

This is actually the beginning.

And you know what?

I can go out still happy about everything.

Oh, what's--ooh.

Gigi.

The one that called me ugly, mind you.

Mm-hmm.

"Dearest Heidi, you have so much star quality.

"Ru fucking told you straight up.

"I see such a light in you,

"and I really hope you have no ill will towards me

"for dumb things from the past.

So much love, Gigi."

Of course I don't hold anything against you.

I feel good with what I accomplished here.

I exceeded all my expectations

of what I thought going into this I would be able to do.

But I am disappointed I didn't get to that finish line.

I was so close, you know?

It's literally, like, right in your grasp,

and it gets taken away.

[gasps] My Leslie Jones hair. Yeah!

Oh, y'all can't take my Leslie Jones.

I've changed a lot since being here.

Like, before coming here, I never did comedy.

I've never done a lot of things coming into this competition.

And it really opened my eyes

and it showed me I could do these things

that I was either afraid to do

or didn't think I was capable of doing.

I believe in myself now,

and I'm a completely changed person.

I really look forward

to seeing what I can bring into the future.

It's just like the beginning of a new journey.

Oh, I can't wait.

[sighs]

Heidi's not done just yet.

Maybe you'll see me again.

Maybe.

I'm proud of this journey.

I had to do things I'd never done before.

I had to come out of my comfort zone,

and I bared it all out there.

You know, no, I may not be in that top five,

I may not be in that top four, but I'm a winner, baby.

Pretty thing.

And you know what?

You gotta keep your eyes open,

'cause there's so much more to see.

It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from.

You can be fabulous and a star, too.

Mwah. Love everyone!

Bye!
