for him and his crew.

is running up to 300 yards

we've been up and running
pretty smoothly

the last couple of days.

the heavy Duncan creek rocks
have destroyed

the sides of the hopper,

allowing them to build up
under the conveyor belt,

stopping the belt
and jamming the hopper.

this conveyor is not built

they'll reinforce it

remove the damaged hopper.

he's set up two wash plants
to run the crater cut pay dirt.

Parker: we've never had
two wash plants in a cut before,

and i'm sure there's gonna be
some growing pains,

but it's pretty bad-ass.

narrator: half a mile away,
in the crater cut,

rock trucks with gold-rich pay.

definitely is pretty bad-ass

seeing both those plants
running side by side.

it's definitely something
we don't see every day.

just as long as we keep this pay
going down to that plant,

big red and sluicifer.

we're really making it
through this dirt,

and things are looking good.

but running both plants 24/7
is creating a new challenge.

with both these plants going,
this tiny little stockpile

ain't gonna do the job for us.

what are these plants
doing for yardage?

you know, when we crank them up
and get them maxed out,

we'll be at 500 yards
an hour.

this stockpile ain't even
gonna get us close.

i don't know how we're gonna
hold out night shifts.

narrator: their rock trucks
only run 12 hours a day,

so to keep the plants
fed overnight,

they need to haul 1,000 yards
of pay dirt an hour.

the trucks haul
about 27 yards a load.

that's just a little
over 400 loads in a day,

and that means we got to truck
400 loads in 12 hours.

so Brennan's gonna have to
just drop everything and truck

with these two plants.

but despite a deep pay layer,

the ground at the mega-cut
has been patchy.

if my plant wasn't running

we wouldn't be making no gold
for a majority of it,

which would have made it
a very skimpy year this year.
