OK everybody welcome to the first part to the course.

We're gonna be talking about what platform do you want to select when it comes to building your website.

And on top of that we're going to talk about the different types of Web sites there are.

So if you guys know and most of you already do there's blogs there's e-commerce stores there's landing

pages.

These are all different types of Web sites.

And usually when a Web site houses a certain type of data or certain kind of information it's classified

as a certain type of Web site.

Right.

So if we were to create let's say a Web site with Wordpress majority of the Web sites that are going

to be created with Wordpress is a block.

In fact WordPress was designed to create only blogs.

That's why we kind of don't use WordPress anymore in a 2020 landscape.

Now if you look at the type of Web site builders we have today the most common is weeks.

Now we're personally not going to be using Wix because of a few reasons.

Number one is price.

Number two it's not as user friendly as the new company that we're using which is brand kits brand kits

I think is a 20 20.

Your company released in around 20 20 times.

So basically with brand kits what you can do is you can create multiple different styles of Web sites

all in one.

So if you wanted to create an e-commerce store with a blog with let's say a different funnels you can

do that within brand kits weeks however gets a little bit more complicated and you're typically going

to have to pay extra when you want extra features.

Right.

So that's why we we kind of rolled out weeks which is also a Web site designer kind of builder and you

could use that if you want to and follow along with the course.

But for the for the duration of course we'll be using brand kits now WordPress is like I said another

one of those alternatives that you could go ahead and use but it's not nearly as user friendly.

And we're going to kind of show that today.

All right.

So now we are basically going to go into different reasons why you would want to use brackets.
