Friend, are you here?

We Tung brothers have been awaiting you for long

You are the one who sent us the invitation

Oh, the Young Avenger

So you are the Young Avenger

the most famous assassin in the martial arts world

We the Tung brothers bear

no grudge against you

This invitation...

Don't play dumb, speak up

Who sent you?

It's your opponent the Cui brothers

So it's those two bastards

Kid, how much did they pay you?

Fifty taels

That's quite a lot

You've been paid; so do yourjob, let's fight

Young Avenger, either you or I will die tonight

Pack it up

Hey, give me a fat one

Alright

What is it? You don't know me?

Right away

You want a fat one too

Haven't I told you?

How much do you want?

Seven taels

Seven taels? Why not half a catty?

I just want seven taels. Will you sell it to me or not?

Alright, seven it is

Pack it up for him

Wait

What do you want?

Let me look at it first

Let him take a look

Damn you, what kind of fat meat is this?

I think it's not fresh

Hunchback, pay & get lost, don't try to create trouble

I don't want this one

Get up...

Get up...

Come on, tell me what do you want?

Go and tell your Master

that Liu Tou from Szechuan came

to pay a visit to Li Kui,

one of the four Jiangnan heroes

If it pleases him to invite us

we'll be there

"visiting Card"

Liu Tou, the "Judge" from Qin Town

why would he be here?

Master, you know him?

No I don't, we've never met before

Then how come he said he's coming to visit you

It's a long story

Twenty years ago, Liu Tou's brother, Jin Biao

was a notorious figure in the triad circle

In Shangan he broke the law quite often

Later he was killed by my Dragon Sword

Liu Tou has now come all the way to Jiangnan

I'm afraid...

What are you afraid of?

Just fight several rounds with him

and send him back, so simple

Bullshit, you know nothing

This once he seems pretty aggressive

Where is he staying?

Mr. Li, Master Liu is waiting for you

Please

Sir, why are you hiding?

I've been looking for you, how are you

very kind of you...

Brother Liu, although we don't know each other

we in the martial arts world are one big family

Please come over

and have a drink

We've got to know each other

Sir, please

This way please

Have a seat please

Please...

Thank you

Brother Liu

Drink this and accept my apology

Sir, what are you talking about?

Twenty years ago at the Shuang Shi Slope in Shenxi

I accidentally wounded your brother Jin Biao

I have felt terribly bad since then

Today I've been able to see you

I'm willing to do anything to express my regret

as long as you can let

bygones be bygones

Sir, in regard to the incident at Shuang Shi Slope

I can only say that it was my brother Jin Biao

who was not good enough

How could I blame you for that?

Let's have a drink, and not talk about that anymore

Brother Liu, how very generous of you!

Here, cheers...

Let me

Sir

I have come all the way to Jiangnan

and want to learn from you

Well...

I think you won't refuse me, right?

Brother Liu, you must be joking

Though I've never had an escort duty in your vicinity

your name is

well known in the martial arts world

If you ask me to teach you

then you must be teasing me

So I must punish you by asking you to drink

Come on... let's drink

Old Chief, would you not do me the honour?

Brother Liu, you are being too serious

Since my wife's death, I've closed the security bureau

I haven't been practising since then

Even I'd like brother Liu

to look at my technique

however the spirit is willing but my strength is weak

Please don't blame me

Since you refuse to give me some guidance

I can only tell you the real purpose of my visit

Whatever I can do

I'll do it for you

Good

Your once famous swordstyle, "Piercing of the Dragon"

is about to be lost through generation

Seeing that, I don't want to beat around the bush

I'm here to ask you to teach me this style

Sir, you shouldn't be that mean

I have almost forgotten about this style

if you wouldn't have mentioned it today

It's a long story

More than ten years ago when I retired

I stopped practising it

So you mean you are not teaching it?

It will be buried with me and vanish

You've made it very clear

I bid you farewell today

Nothing between us has changed

We'll meet again

Good, Er Hu Zi

Yes Master

Give ten silver taels as conveyance to Master Liu

Sir, you keep it, thank you

Okay then

Brother Liu, have a safe trip

Please...

Bao Zhu

It must be Brother Liu

Please come down

Brother Liu

You've exposed yourself

No, I can't remember anything at all

Brother Liu, let's have tea inside

Sir

I've experienced your swordsmanshipjust now

What's left is the last style

Why don't you show it to me?

Brother Liu, you are really an expert

I've been trying to think of the last technique

but I can't remember anything at all

There's no need to lie

Mr. Li

I must have you return one thing to me

What is it?

My brother Jin Biao's life

Brother Liu

Old Chief

Sorry

Thank you for sparing my life

I won't forget your favour

Get up

Alright, it's better to have a friend than an enemy

Brother Liu, have a seat inside

I still have something to say

Sir, please

Alright, please

Martial world rather be rid of you, a shameless lout

On this same day, ten years later

I will come to fight with you again

lt'll be a fight to the death

Bao Zhu

Bao Zhu

Bao Zhu

You nag about practising martial arts all day

Look at your uncle, tell me what's so good about it!

There's not a good guy in the martial arts world

Sister, it was out of my own carelessness that

I was struck by Iron Palm and got this heart illness

It has nothing to do with practising martial arts

If not for martial arts, you won't enter in a fight

And without that combat you wouldn't get this illness

I was too aggressive then

and this is my punishment

It has nothing to do with practising martial arts

no one is to be blamed but myself

Er Hu Zi

Master

Er Hu Zi

Escort your sister to Da Bei Temple tomorrow morning

Dad Master

Listen to me

Only your Fourth Uncle

who is a monk at the Da Bei Temple

knows this sword style

There, this swordsmanship must only be passed to Bao Zhu

and no one else, not to mention those reckless people

Master

Speak slowly

Second brother

Bao Zhu is like my own daughter to me

I might as well be frank with you

If anything happens to you, I'll take care of her

why do you have to send her to that mad monk

at that temple so far away

Looking back at the Four Heroes of Jiangnan

The Golden Spear became a farmer outside the border

The Iron Fan is a bookworm

The Mad Monk

simply became a monk

They all went separate ways

and their once so splendid glory became nothing

In actual fact, No.4 is not mad at all

He just pretends to be

Don't worry

He'll bring up Bao Zhu well

I really don't understand why you have to do this

Sister, let's not argue; we'd better ask Bao Zhu

Bao Zhu, what about you?

Dad, I want to stay with Fourth Uncle

and get trained in your swordsmanship

Bao Zhu...

Bao Zhu

Auntie...

What's going on? What's all that shouting?

Guess who's coming?

Who is it? Speak

Your Third Uncle is here

Oh... that bookworm

Iron Fan

Where's he?

Outside

Hurry and bring him in, we are all family

Alright, I'll go

Mom

Is he the same bookworm that uncle's been talking about?

Luen Er, don't be rude

You must greet him as Uncle, understand?

Yes, Mom

Your uncle is a scholar

Sister...

You are late

Sister, our elder brother had been honest all his life

It's so unfortunate that he ended up like this

I came immediately from

Yangchow as soon as I've got the news

Where's Bao Zhu?

Come, sit down, I'll tell you

Your stubborn brother

insisted on sending her to the Da Bei Temple

to seek shelter from that sick monk

Don't you think that

he's just ruining Bao Zhu?

Do you agree?

Sister, Big brother has always been cautious and wise

If he wants Bao Zhu to learn from Fourth brother

he must have his reason for that

I think you need not worry too much

Mom

Isn't he Shi Lun? He's so grown up!

Luen Er, greet uncle

Hello, Uncle

He's smart

Don't mention it

This kid is my major concern

How's that? He's not studying well?

He doesn't want to study

and only practices martial arts

He wants to learn Iron Palm, Dragon Sword

and your Iron Fan

Sister, it's not bad to practise martial arts

it all depends on how he'll use it

You speak his mind

Let me ask him, okay?

Alright, you'd better teach him a good lesson

Alright, come

Even if you pursue martial arts, you've to study well

Only a man who's a fighter and a scholar is a real hero

Well said

If you want to study literature, uncle can teach you

And to practise martial arts, I give you this iron fan

Hey, stand still

Damn it, it's rotten luck to run into

this beggar in the first transaction

You damn beggar, get lost

We have to do business

Shi Gan Dang

Oh, we mightn't successfully commit robbery this time

I'm starving

Don't bring it up, me too

I've a good idea

What is it?

Tonight

we can sneak into the Fairy Cave

and kill those robbers

We may get the reward of two hundred taels of silver

Damn you

Those inside the Fairy Cave

are infamous figures in the triad circle

We'd rather be alive for the MidAutumn Festival

I don't have guts to do that

Don't sleep

Go over there

Do you know whose territory this is?

You're still young,

don't rush around

You should check it out first

This area belongs to us

no one is allowed to go in

How about the Fairy Cave?

What a sharp tongue!

You'd better leave everything behind before you go

I, Master Hu, won't dispute with a kid like you

What if I don't leave it?

Then that will be the end of you; attack

This kid is hard to deal with, let's attack together

Alright

Why are you hitting me? He's over there

We admit defeat... as you please

I have something to ask you

Where's the Fairy Cave?

Who's offering 200 taels of silver as reward?

Even love is mesmerised by money

The Fairy Cave is not far from here

Two hundred taels of silver is a reward from the town

Why do you ask?

Come on, bring me to the Fairy Cave

Up there are a few kung fu experts from the triad group

Go there yourself, we won't be going with you

How about if I give you forty taels of silver later?

Come on, cheers, eat

Someone's here...

Oh, he's up there

Attack

Someone's outside

Hey

When a person is in good luck, nothing can stop him

Forty taels of silver will fall from the sky

Shi Gan Dang, don't you think it's weird?

Let's sit over here

Alright, it's cool here

What's the name of that young hero?

Oh yes, even I forgot to ask him

Who cares, let's eat

Speak, which place here have you hired him for?

Hired? No such thing at all

Stop pretending

Who's causing trouble at the Fairy Cave

I really don't know

We just called him Young...

Young what?

He's called the Young Avenger

That's right, the Young Avenger...

The Young Avenger?

Never heard of him before

That's right, kill them first

Wait

Just in time, I'm looking for you

You're called the Young Avenger

Stop talking nonsense, come on over

Attack

Chase...

Attack

Chase...

Attack

Little hero... Don't let him escape

I know this guy

He has committed murder in town

and he's allied with those in the Szechuan Road

Are there rewards for these?

Little hero... you're getting rich

Let's take them back to town

We may get three to five hundred taels of silver

I'll give them all to you

Really? We're rich

We're rich

Let's go and get the money

Get the money

We'll get those two first

Ah... ah...

The grudge I bore ever since my adolescence

and sweet memories of childhood love on my mind

Always hoping to take revenge and wipe out

the unsettled grudge, headed I am to a perilous spot!

It's painful enough to conceal old enmity

One'd rather not hesitate to annihilate a blood debt

"Wan Sang Town"

Hey, there's a customer

Doesn't look like a customer, seems more like a beggar

Stop talking nonsense, go and serve him

Welcome, do you want some wine or food?

There are tables outside, it's bright and cool out there

Have a seat, I'll bring you some wine

It's full inside, have a seat outside please

Please

This table is reserved for someone

Am I not someone?

This has been reserved

by our boss Master Chen

Have a seat over there please

Chen Shi Lun?

He's our boss

Please do us a favour

and spare this table

Bring us our food

Coming

You want rice or bun?

I want a fried chicken, same as the one on that table

That one has been reserved for Master Chen

It's a bit late to prepare another one now

What? Do you think my money is fake?

You must be joking, who'd dare to?

Waiter

Coming

Don't mistreat the guests

Ask the cook to prepare another one

Yes

Waiter

What is it? Sir

I can't wait, I want that one

Oh, that one

Brother Er Fu

Waiter

Master Chen

Maybe

It's okay even if Liu Tou hired thousands of men

What about Liu Tou himself?

He hasn't showed up yet, I think it won't be long

Today it's already the twelfth day of the eighth month

"Night Watch"

Bastard

Bastard, don't run

So you are the 3 Heroes of Qin Town

That's me

Old Jang was working in the field

and was shot dead

Hurry, Master Chen is inside

Where the "Judge" goes, no one will stay alive

Liu Tou has finally come

This was Master Li's case ten years ago

It's different from last time

Come, carry Old Jang inside

Dad...

Everybody

This trouble has been caused by me

It's too late for regrets

Liu Tou is after me

If I were not at the village

you all might be alright

So I've decided to leave and never show my face again

Please forgive me

That's not a good idea

This gang of robbers have surrounded the whole village

How can you go out?

I can

Cousin, have you forgotten those words in the letter?

Where the "Judge" goes, no one will stay alive

No... this is not the time to be afraid

Everyone, think of something

Any ideas, Mr. Jin?

Don't leave, you are from our village

Your business is ours too

We can only be resourceful and play by ear

Mr. Jin is right

Everybody, in protecting Miss Li

we are protecting ourselves too

Everybody

we should discuss this properly tonight

That's right... Miss Li, don't be afraid

Carry Old Jang back

Cousin, have some rest first. Please

Tomorrow it's August 15; don't show up, no matter what

If Liu Tou really turns up to attack our village

I'll stall them

We'll hold our position waiting for them to attack

maybe we could win

Yes

I'll go discuss with them

Ask Ding Tsai to bring 20 men to the East side

See where you can run!

Hurry and come

These village bumpkins are really something

Do you admit it, friend?

Alright, I admit it

Attack...

Chase

Don't run

Whoever is not afraid to die can fight along with me

Run...

Master Liu Tou is coming

Master...

You have guts

Master Liu has regard for us, we have to accompany him

You are the nephew of the late Li Kui

I am Chen Shi Lun

and have been awaiting you

What rubbish!

Ask the Young Avenger to come out

he'll have to face up to his responsibility

We'll first settle our grudge of 10 years ago

before dealing with you one by one

The Young Avenger is here

Relax, you'll definitely get to see her...

but first let me fight with you, okay?

Not a bad idea

Since I am personally here today

no one in your village will live

Come on then

Bitch, for quite long have I sought you

Today you're going to meet your dead father

Cousin, be careful

The Dragon Sword, wellknown for several decades

has finally been put to shame

Where are Er Hu Zi and the others?

They are guarding the entrance to the village

They're already in the village, why guard now?

Go and find them

Master

You didn't heed my words

and now you've suffered

Master

Uncle

You are Chen Shi Lun, student of my third brother

I am so ashamed

Bastard

Bao Zhu, kill him

Don't worry, she won't be able to kill me

Neither could you kill me

I have no grudge against you

but you killed her father, so she could kill you

Bao Zhu

Master

Kill him

Brothers, today is the day

People like you are out there

seeking their death themselves

Bastard

Bao Zhu, go

Dad

Thank you, Master

Get up...

Shi Lun

Uncle

Everybody, please come out, it's over

Good

Please come out, it's over

You won't have to use this sword ever again hereafter

I'd rather you give it to me as a token of remembrance

Master

Cousin

Remember to come by Da Bei Temple if anything happens

Fourth uncle will take care of things for you

Fellow neighbours

Bury these bad guys at the entrance of the village

Build a big grave for them

lt'd serve to remind those who love to seek revenge

that this will be their ending!
