All language subtitles for 1. Setup Gmail Account

All right.

Welcome back.

So in this video we're going to setup the Gmail account.

So let's head over to our favorite web browser.

Whatever web browser that may be for you and what I'm going to do for this examples I'm going to open

up a private tab because I'm already logged into my other account.

So let's do that right here.

And I'm going to type in Google dot com and I'm going to type and nothing and we're going to click on

Gmail.

OK.

And you're going to see down here get more done with Gmail.

So if we click on Create an account I'm a type of my name Josh Warner and we'll do learn tech plus 20

20 at G.M. dot com

super.

That should work.

And then I'm going to type in my password.

Make sure that when you make a password that you check it out here so log off I do this

and I'll show you.

If you click here.

OK.

So it shows the password one two three four five six seven eight nine.

OK.

So make sure when you create the password you do that so that you know what the password is.

OK.

Now I'm going to change the password.

OK.

I'm going to hit next now wants a phone number.

OK.

So for your security Google wants to make sure it's really you.

Google will send a text message with a six digit verification code.

So what I'm going to do is I will blur this part out but I'll type in my phone number

next and then it's going to send me a verification.

So let me pause the video and I'll be right back.

I'm back.

So I got the verification code.

So make sure you check on your phone to make sure you get the verification code.

It's going to be different than mine.

But I want to give you the full example here so you understand what's going on.

So we'll click on verify

and you have the option of using a recovery email address and then you can put in your birthday.

So for my example my birthday is April 20th nineteen eighty five

and I'm a male.

So you can fill that out and you don't need to have a recovery email address if you don't want to.

It's an optional thing but I recommend doing it in case you lose your password.

You don't need to do it.

I'm not going to do it for this example but you can if you want so I'll head next and get more from

your number if you like.

You can add your phone number to your account for use across Google services for this example.

I'm going to skip this

now it's going to show you the privacy in terms.

So if you scroll down here and check all this out you'll see all the privacy in terms that they have

here I'm going to click agree

and once that loads then we should be active.

So let's see if this cooperates with us and there you go.

So now I'm going to hit next because it's going to go through basically the walk through here so you

can choose a view so you can do default comfortable compact.

I like the comfortable one where it's more spread out so it's easy to read and then they have a set

of programs.

So choose a theme learn how to use e-mail and poor contacts and mail get Jean for mobile.

Change your profile image.

So what I'll do is I'll choose a theme.

So let's do I like the beach so we'll do that one.

OK.

Learn how to use e-mail.

OK.

I'll close that out in four contacts calls that are just so check it off.

We'll close that off.

So check that and then change the profile photo.

Now you can do this part.

I'm just doing the other ones to click through it so that it's completed.
