[Episode 33]

They've chased to here. I'll take a look.

Be careful.

Let's go!

Let's go!

Qianxue!

Shameless!

Greetings, Your Majesty.

Have you decided?

Your Majesty is welcoming me as the Queen.

I cannot refute such sincerity.

The Queen's position has long been vacant.

Since you are willing to come today, I'd like to hear what you really want to say.

Your Majesty, are you really not concerned about my past?

I'm more concerned about your heart.

Since you are willing to be the Queen of Great Heng,

anything in the past should be totally discarded.

I shall strive to be a good queen

and a good wife.

Fang Xiang leads the 11 Marquis to great Your Majesty.

The 11 Marquis of Great Heng have gathered at the Great Hall today.

Tell me, what urgent matters do you want to discuss?

Your Majesty, the new law reform

were opposed by the Shang and Gongsun families and has remained undetermined.

Now that they've been executed,

we would like to restart the new law.

Your Majesty, we know that the new law must be implemented,

we would like to follow Liang Jingmeng to implement it to show our allegiance.

Didn't you previously say Liang Jingmeng is too aggressive?

Why are you supporting him again?

The relationship between Ba Mountain Sword Academy's leader and Your Majesty is extraordinary.

He has even saved your life.

All the people say Liang Jingmeng is capable of protecting Great Heng.

Only Ba Mountain Sword Academy can guarantee lasting peace for Great Heng.

Your Majesty must be joking.

Without His Majesty, how can Great Heng be strong and powerful?

There also wouldn't be Ba Mountain Sword Academy's Liang Jingmeng.

Jingmeng and I will salute Your Majesty with a toast.

Jingmeng.

Ye Zhen.

Sect Master! Sect Master!

Liang Jingmeng attempted to assassinate His Majesty

and has been executed. His Majesty has decreed

any disciples of Ba Mountain Sword Academy that will swear allegiance to His Majesty will be awarded titles and fortune.

All those that oppose shall be killed without mercy!

Your Majesty, the Sect Master of White Goat Cave, Jiang Li,

has returned from Fengwu and gone to Min Mountain.

It appears that Baili Suxue has already known about Ding Ning's identity.

They all have been cheating me.

Your Majesty!

Your Majesty, Xian's army has suddenly ambushed Lian Shan County.

- King Liling? - The commanders have been gathered at the Great Hall

and are waiting for Your Majesty to come up with a plan.

Huang Zhenwei, go immediately to Min Mountain to find out everything for me.

Prime Minister Li, show the way.

Yes.

I fought in a bloody battle to conquer Fengwu, and it's not enough for Royal Father to see me?

He is still busy with other urgent matters?

He clearly favors Crown Prince Chu and doesn't want to see me.

Where is Zhu Yuan? Ding Ning is still not captured?

We haven't received any news.

So useless!

Your Highness, Xiao Yue is waiting to see you.

Summon her in.

Yes.

Greetings, Your Highness.

No one is following you, is there?

There's no one.

Have you completed what I told you to do?

According to your order, I've added the dark poison to Crown Prince Chu's food daily.

I've never skipped a day.

The dark poison gets infused every day, and there will be no trace.

Once his poisoning erupts,

no one will be able to detect that I am behind it.

I am very pleased. Once it's successful,

I will release your family.

Thank you, Your Highness.

Leave!

I will take my leave.

Once the crown prince dies,

I don't believe Royal Father won't see me again.

Crown Prince, your dinner is ready.

Just put it down there.

You've been under shock and exhaustion from the Fengwu trip,

why don't you at least eat a little?

Did my Royal Brother return to Fengming today?

Yes.

Crown Prince, you are feeling weak and short of breath,

if you don't eat your dinner, it won't help you recuperate fully.

Bring it then.

Yes.

Oh yes, Xiao Yue.

Present.

Didn't you tell me previously that you wanted to go home to visit your family?

It's been delayed because of the urgent warfare.

Yes.

Come.

I wrote this permission letter which will allow you to leave the palace.

You've served in the palace for many years. It's time or you to go home to visit.

Crown Prince.

Go visit your parents.

Crown Prince.

What is the meaning of this?

I am sorry, Crown Prince.

Your Majesty!

Your Majesty!

Have you captured Ding Ning?

No.

Although I didn't capture Ding Ning, but I've brought back Gongsun Qianxue.

- Ye Zhen. - You are really still alive.

You are disappointed.

You never thought that

I'd be alive and standing in front of you.

Right now, I only want to know if Ding Ning is Liang Jingmen?

It's nothing to do with you.

If he Liang Jingmen, of course it has everything to do with me.

You personally poisoned him to death.

Why do you pretend to love him?

Of course I love him.

You love him?

You conspired with Yuan Wu to scheme together to harm him.

You don't deserve to talk about love.

Do you know how difficult it is to become the heir to Xiao Zhong County?

It took me ten years.

But, for him, I betrayed the entire Xiao Zhong County.

And him?

He secretly taught you sward mantra, gave you the precious sword, and even gave up the new law for you.

He treated me this way. Why should I have stayed with him?

He loved you ten years ago.

So I gave him the sword first thing in the morning, and broke up the relationship.

But it was innocent between us.

Innocent?

If you weren't in his heart,

why would you be together now?

That's fate that brought us together.

You killed his heart.

Would you expect him to wait for you eternally?

Even if it's not me, it shouldn't be you.

Heaven is fair.

Since you didn't believe him,

fate let us circle around and found each other again.

You talk about fate!

I'll give you another chance. Let's see how fate will treat you?

Give her the sword.

You still cannot match me.

Your selfishness

and self-centered femeanor

is really disgusting.

Even if I can't have him,

I won't let you have him.

Min Mountain is sealed,

but Jiang Li and the others have left first.

If Baili Suxue does anything wrong, execute the entire Min Mountain sect.

Yes.

How is the Crown Prince now?

The royal physician is searching for an antidote for the crown prince.

Did the palace maidservant confess who is behind her?

Even though she has confessed to her crime, she did not mentioned who the instigator is.

Your Majesty, there is another matter which I don't dare to speculate.

Tell me.

During the day, an official at the Bureau of Heavenly Supervision saw this maidservant

come out of Prince Han's palace.

What has happened?

Right, the proprietress is a good person.

It's been seized.

Go, go, don't look anymore.

Let's go. Let's go.

Don't look anymore. Go.

Hurry and go! Hurry!

Get out of my way.

Go!

Let him come in.

Jingmeng!

Let her go.

You captured her in order to see me. I've come.

Let her go.

You disappeared for ten years. Why did you just come back now?

It takes time to recuperate from injuries.

It took me ten years to cultivate to this level.

So the past ten years,

you've wanted to kill me every minute of it.

No.

It's you all.

What you did to me and Ba Mountain Sword Academy

will come to a final judgement. But not today.

Qianxue.

Qianxue.

Ding Ning.

Don't be afraid. I'll take you home.

But, aside from here,

where do we still have a home?

As long as we are together, home is anywhere we are.

Alright, I'll go home with you.

I betrayed the entire Xiao Zhong County for you. I had not exit.

I loved you truely,

but you lied to me right from the start.

I never lied to you.

You were the only one in my heart at that time.

You secretly gave this sword

to this woman, but you say you only had me in your heart?

If you get closer to her for even one step, I'll kill you.

You won't be able to go far.

Your Majesty.

- Your Majesty. - Your Majesty.

- Royal Father. - No need to be formal.

You are unwell, just lie down.

Thank you, Royal Father.

Huang Zhenwei has investigated and found what happened at the court in Fengwu.

You were poisoned.

As father, I mistakenly faulted you.

Royal Father, you are the King of the nation.

I am your subject first before I am your child.

As a subject, impudence against the sovereign deserves punishment.

You've learned all the ritualistic formality from the old ministers.

Candid advice is not necessarily popular.

Abiding by the formal manners is not a bad way to protect oneself.

You and I are father and son.

Today, you can say whatever you think.

Then...

won't Royal Father be upset?

Yes, I'll be upset.

I may even hit you, just like when you were a naughty child.

Then...

is it alright if I mention that person?

Didn't you say you don't remember what happened that day?

That day in the Great Hall, I didn't know why you were so angry.

So I quietly investigated.

You can continue without worry.

You were willing to destroy Ba Mountain Sword Sect. It means you were really bothered by him.

Yes.

Ba Mountain's people, to me,

were like thorns in my throat.

Therefore, you admit he was trouble to you?

He was really bright and shining, but I also knew

that there can only be one sun in the sky.

Therefore, you chose to remove him.

Therefore, you think I'm coldhearted?

With his strength and reputation at that time,

if he ever disagreed with my policies,

the ministers in the court would unavoidably take sides.

For instance, he wanted to stop implementing the new law, the leading Marquis, Gongsun, supported him.

Even though he didn't mean to supersede me,

but his existence formed a threat to me.

I am the sovereign of a nation, and I cannot allow anything like that to happen.

But you are sovereign and subject, and you were bonded as brothers,

why did you have to eliminate him so thoroughly?

He and you are brothers too.

He put poison into you and wants to kill you.

Royal Brother is the oldest son,

but I am the crown prince.

He naturally feels unsatisfied.

Crown Prince,

have you ever thought what if I didn't investigate this incident

and executed you, what would you do?

Look at me! Your brother betrayed you.

What would you do?

Look at how indecisive you are now.

As the Crown Prince, but you don't think like a King.

A king as a king's responsibility.

Once a king is unable to control the nation,

he is neglecting his duty.

What you think is ruthlessness,

but I have no regrets.

Enough now.

Don't overthink it.

Right now, you still need to recuperate quietly.

Royal Father.

A king is also human. Even if you have no regrets sitting in the throne,

but what about within your heart?

Your Majesty, it's been investigated that the poison in the Crown Prince

was inflicted by this person by Prince Han's side. Her name is Zhu Yuan.

For murdering the Crown Prince, I will crush you into 10,000 pieces.

Talk.

Who is the instigator?

It's me.

Prince Han is the oldest son but is neglected by Your Majesty.

I felt the unfairness for my master's sake.

Therefore, in Fengwu,

I poisoned Prince Chu without my master's knowledge.

Your Majesty, she has the antidote. We should save the Crown Prince first.

Sect Master.

Sect Master, Miss Zhangsun isn't doing well.

Junior Brother has not told us anything once he entered inside.

I'm afraid...

Actually, they both understand it.

Let's not disturb them.

Qianxue.

Ding Ning.

No one will disturb us anymore.

You don't hurt anymore, do you?

Stop.

Wutong Falls was really quiet today.

It appears that you still haven't let it go.

Your Majesty, since you knew that Liang Jingmeng was there, why didn't you come?

Do you hate me or fear him?

I've never feared him.

These ten years,

Your Majesty has always felt that I haven't let it go.

I actually think it's you who hasn't let go of him.

Your Majesty, Queen, the Crown Prince's situation doesn't look good.

Where is Zhu Yuan's antidote?

The antidote came too late. The poison has penetrated into the bone marrow.

Crown Prince! Crown Prince!

Where is the medicine?

My son Chu!

The royal physician said the antidote arrived too late.

The crown prince's poison has penetrated into the bone marrow. His fainting spell will last longer and longer.

Tell them,

if they can't cure the crown prince, the entire royal physician's hall will die with him.
