Episode 19

I hope that the emperor,

seeing me care for you day and night

and General Du's efforts in guarding the frontier,

will overlook this matter.

Otherwise, I also fear

the military leaders on the frontier,

all brought up

single-handedly by Marshal Zheng Dong

If General Du

is charged with crime for his daughter's indiscretions,

those generals would refuse to accept it,

and perhaps cause an uprising on the frontier.

Do you think

I wouldn't dare touch you and your entire family?

I wouldn't dare

What play is this?

Emperor

fighting with the empress?

This is not the place for you to speak!

Sister doesn't want to cut in,

but hearing

what Big Sister just said

I thought I should remind the emperor

Everything Big Sister says is right

and with good intentions.

The emperor should know

the troops under General Du

have always followed only military orders,

not imperial orders.

If the emperor

removes General Du's title,

then when those barbarian subjects find out

and get upset,

I'm afraid

they'll cause trouble for the emperor.

Nonsense!

You lowly Zhao Yi

have the right to sow discord here?

For your intent to interfere in affairs

I can punish you for a crime right now

and take your head!

Calm down sister

If I died

who would come here to

eloquently

plea for you?

Emperor, I didn't want to interfere

I think that

those lowly civilian,

incestuous matters

are not uncommon.

Besides, it's the crown prince

Even if he had three wives, four concubines

it's nothing serious.

If for these unimportant matters,

the emperor moved the foundation of the kingdom,

I think it would be a bad idea

and huge disadvantage.

By then,

not only have you offended General Du

and made a mockery of this before the entire court,

every commoner

will also learn of

the palace's corruption.

By then,

the emperor will face calamitous consequences.

Harming yourself along with others

So I made too big a fuss over this?

Since family scandals cannot be revealed

then what should I do?

Before the children, I should at least

set an example.

Yes

then let's see what the victim says

You Er

How do you think this should be handled?

As long as you point out who should be punished,

Father will support you

Father, I don't blame anyone

This has nothing to do with mother

Sister Wan's reputation is also important

Brother Xing and I are both reasonable people

I ask Father to please calm down

Place most importance on national peace and family union

Deal with this matter leniently

Your child thanks Father for his kindness

You Er rarely shows this much love

And Han Zhao Yi

also said something right.

A crown prince having several wives and concubines

is normal

Emperor

Since the victim is not complaining

then Emperor need not be so troubled.

For Du Wan not to be royal consort,

finding an excuse to not make Xing Er crown prince.

Then according to you,

just let it go?

I wouldn't dare talk nonsense

I can only hope that the emperor

will not use this matter to implicate everyone

and cause talk among others

Everyone here

is on your side

The only ones to dispute

are the crickets on the beams

Since you want to be Royal Consort,

I will nip it in the bud.

From now on,

I order you to be Qi Xing's concubine.

Furthermore, no wedding, no banquets

No ceremonies

as punishment!

Father!

I don't want Du Wan as concubine!

Shut up!

If your big brother didn't plea for you,

would you still be alive to speak?

Sister

With such a

joyous ending,

how should you thank me?

So quick to ask for favors

I wouldn't dare

Best if you didn't!

You interfering in my family affairs,

I shouldn't have let you off easily

but I'm in no mood to deal with you today.

I'm telling you

Earlier I was pacifying the emperor

to give him a way out.

I don't believe

anyone would dare touch our Du Family!

I'm warning you

Everything you've done today

I'll remember

If you

don't want to play with fire,

then be good and behave.

Kang Zi

Here

Get rid of all these for me

Yes

I still have other things to do

Is it true what happened

between Qi Xing and Du Wan?

Did you rush here

to console to me

or to laugh at me?

Why would I come to laugh at you?

I just wanted to find out what happened

Your eyes are red and swollen

Were you crying for me?

Who would cry for you?

Last night,

Sister Yao and I became sworn sisters

We had so much fun

So last night

I was the only person

who felt sad?

Even Meng Qi You feels sadness?

Then last night

were you really that happy?

I thought this time

I would really lose you.

It's ok

We have gotten through another disaster

We have

but...

Du Wan has attached herself to Qi Xing.

His life won't be easy from now on

There's no choice

since they've had conjugal relations.

Since you didn't marry Du Wan,

does this jade pendant you gave me

still count?

No

Why?

With you, what else do I need?

As long as you help me

remove all these

annoying red veils,

this will count.

Dear father,

daughter found out last night

that Jialing county magistrate Pan Zhong's daughter Pan Yu

is really Chu Kingdom's last dynasty princess,

Ma Fu Ya.

She entered Shu Kingdom as a royal consort candidate.

Miss, come

What did you say? Me?

The maidens

will soon be sent back out of the palace.

I have no other choice

I can only play this move

I know this puts you in a difficult position

If you're not willing

I can send someone else.

No

It's better if I handle it.

To accomplish great things,

one must give up many small matters,

and use any means.

Meng Zhi Xiang got the country

and Du Fei Hong controls the back palace this way.

If we want to win

we must be more ruthless than them,

more extreme.

You said you'd keep her life

I never thought

of killing her.

But this girl is too smart,

too uncontrollable.

Did you know?

These days

she has been secretly gathering medicine from the imperial doctors' office

every night

working on

an antidote for the Nian Nu Jiao poison.

I'm afraid that as time passes,

she will break free of our control

and eventually bite us back.

You ordered someone to spy on her?

Is it Yun Zhu?

The maidens

from the start I had someone monitor their every moment.

Yun Zhu is your biological sister

I won't implicate her

We've reached today's step

We must be guarded

One wrong step, and we'll lose the whole game

The scar recovered very quickly

better than expected.

Fu Ya

Mother would really like to see

the scar gone sooner.

Mother, don't be too impatient

Daughter will take your pulse

Mother, lately have you

felt any discomforts?

Anything unusual with your body?

I was fine a while ago,

but lately my chest hurts at night

and I have difficulty breathing.

What?

Is there something wrong with my health?

No

It's because of the medicine I used on your face.

These are all symptoms of the medicine

This means your face

is improving little by little.

Fu Ya, you only worry about mother

I think you've been getting thinner

What happened?

Nothing

Don't lie to me

I heard them say

First Prince

was to marry General Du's daughter.

You've thinned because of your sadness?

How is this related to daughter?

Why should I be sad?

First Prince is superior

in character, talent, and ability.

Before you also...

Mother

Don't think too much of it

Meng Qi You is only a deposed prince

Daughter wants to marry the current crown prince

I am going to be

Empress of Shu.

If I marry

a deposed prince,

how will I restore Chu Kingdom in the future?

How will I find younger brother and avenge Father's death?

Right, we're not in a position to think anything else.

If your father's death is not avenged,

we'd be breaking our vows.

Mother, you should rest and meditate.

Let daughter handle all this

Niang Niang, consort selection has ended

I am bound to leave the palace

Then my mother...

You can take your mother with you,

but I'm afraid

it will be a corpse.

Niang Niang, things have developed

to this point today,

but it's not as we desired.

My mother has been tormented enough

Please be magnanimous

and not separate us mother daughter anymore.

That's better than being separated between life and death

Princess Fu Ya is smart

You won't leave as you please

and disregard your mother's life?

Do you get happiness out of others' misery?

Even if you won't let me leave now,

once the decree is given I have to leave.

Calling you smart...

seems like I overestimated you.

If Princess wants to stay,

there are plenty of excuses to stay.

I don't care whether I leave or stay

I just don't want my mother to die

If you don't want your mother to die,

I will have to find someone to die in her place.

I haven't worn this

I haven't worn this either

But...

I will be leaving this magnificent palace soon.

Who? Who's outside my window?

Ghost!!

Niang Niang

What did you just see?

Niang Niang, Empress...

What are you crying for?

Tell me clearly what you just saw

I saw a female ghost dressed in white, holding a plum blossom branch,

with blood dripping from her lips

passing by my window.

She even laughed coldly at me

That's the likeness of Lady Mei Fei

Niang Niang, Niang Niang, I'm so scared

I'm so scared I won't leave the palace alive!

Before I heard Mei Fei most hated consort selection

Now she's back as a vengeful spirit

to take revenge!

Stop creating rumors!

To pretend dead with a plum blossom branch,

even my guard Mo Chou can do it!

How can you be certain it's a haunted ghost?

But Niang Niang, my parents are old

I must go back to take care of them. Please show mercy Niang Niang, let me go home

Shut up!

Do you think you can enter and leave this back palace as you please?

I'm telling you all,

the decree has not been given yet.

No one is allowed to leave the palace as she wishes

Anyone who disobeys, kill!

A mi tuo fu, Lady Mei Fei

please rest in peace.

I humbly

pray for your soul to rest in peace.

Please let me go

In three days, I promise to

forever

forever leave this Shu Kingdom palace,

leave your territory.

A mi tuo fu

Lady Mei Fei,

please let me go.

Please let me go, Lady Mei Fei

I humbly beg you

I promise to leave

I don't want to die

Why did this maiden die in the plum blossom forest?

Emperor, to my knowledge

this is already the second.

Who knows if someone

is deliberately covering this up from the emperor

not reporting events in the back palace.

Why did you not report this to me?

I was wondering what nasty person

would so boldly dare stab me in the back.

Reporting to the emperor,

it was I who decided not to report this.

I believe it is only the death

of a nameless, titleless woman.

There's no need to disturb the emperor

Even if the palace maidens die,

I have no need

to report every case to the emperor.

But Sister,

don't you think these maidens

died very strangely?

Why is each case

related to plum blossoms?

Unless the rumors are true

Mei Fei is back for revenge

Even if Mei Fei's ghost spirit

is back for revenge,

it should be against

the fox who charmed the Emperor into confusion.

Why would she

target those maidens for no reason?

Your theory about Mei Fei's ghost

is too unreasonable,

too laughable.

Sister is right

Perhaps I thought too much of it

but it's not without reason,

an absurd guess.

According to the Emperor,

Mei Fei is a clear-headed,

rather chivalrous woman who can distinguish between right and wrong.

She must have seen

the consort selection process this time

and the injustice against certain maidens,

and so she appeared as a ghost

to express her anger.

According to you,

Mei Fei had a deep friendship with those maidens?

Conversing over candlelight, communicating through Yin and Yang?

That's ridiculous!

No matter what,

I'm considering for the Emperor.

Why are these womens' deaths

all related to plum blossoms?

This is clearly...

because Mei Fei has something to say to you.

Enough, no more nonsense

Yun Er

Tomorrow is your mother's remembrance day

Help father arrange the prayer and incense burning

If she needs something,

she can meet me in my dreams.

Then Father...

will you not be coming to Chang Sheng palace tomorrow?

I...

think of her day and night.

I'm afraid that one step into the plum blossom forest

will bring me sorrow.

Sister,

the maidens are dying one by one,

this way

perhaps I'll be next!

If Princess wants to stay,

there are plenty of excuses to stay.

I don't care whether I leave or stay

I just don't want my mother to die

If you don't want your mother to die,

I will have to find others to die in her place.

Sister, don't worry

Tonight why not

stay at my place?

I will protect you

Emperor

What time is it?

Second Prince

must be preparing worship for Mei Fei now?

Emperor, if you're worried

then go there personally.

No

Going would only bring me more sorrow

Emperor, this calming nerve soup

I have already tested.

Please use some

and sleep well.

Mei Er,

do you really have grievances?

Then why not meet me in my dreams?

If you're angry, why not tell me directly?

Mei Er

How did I end up here?

I have to leave

Is it you? Mei Er...

You really came for me

Mei Er! Mei Er! Mei Er!

Mei Er!

Mei Er, don't run

Are you afraid of being harmed?

I will protect you, don't be afraid

Emperor, I am not Lady Mei Fei

You are my Mei Er!

Don't be afraid, I won't let you leave

Emperor, you really have the wrong person!

Father! Emperor! Father!

She's maiden Pan Yu

the Pan Yu I mentioned to you.

No, she's your mother

She came to find me

Emperor, I'm really not Mei Fei!

You have the wrong person!

Father, Father, Father!

Think calmly

If she were mother,

would she be this age and appearance?

Lies! All lies

We said to meet in our dreams...

Why did you break your promise?

Break your promise!

Father, Father calm down

Pan Yu startled the Emperor

Please forgive me

Raise your head

Who let you enter the palace?

Imperial household division

What a coincidence

I ask you again

Who let you into Chang Sheng palace?

Father

Your son let her into Chang Sheng Palace

Please excuse Pan Yu

from the death penalty for trespassing.

You get up, I was asking her

I'm waiting for your reply

At the time I was intoxicated by someone

I really don't know how I got into the Chang Sheng plum blossom garden

Do you think I would believe you?

Having startled the emperor,

Pan Yu deserves to die.

Please forgive me

and release me from the palace.

Release you?

You think I'm easy to fool?

Emperor, I speak honestly

Please investigate

Before I find out the truth,

you're not allowed to go anywhere!

Father

Pan Yu is but a consort maiden

How could she be collaborating with anyone?

Please investigate

But this is such a coincidence

don't you think?

Emperor, bad news

Something happened at the maidens' quarters. Speak

That maiden Su Yao fainted

and woke up crying, looking for Pan Yu.

Emperor,

Pan Yu was intoxicated while keeping Su Yao company.

Please allow me to see her, so that she doesn't worry

Who knows

whether you intoxicated her?

then got away to commit the crime?

Pan Yu wouldn't dare, Emperor please investigate

If I trusted everything others say,

could I still

steadily keep this throne?

Come!

Here!

Take her to the jail

Yes!

Father!

Don't plea for her!

Interrogate her using torture

until she tells the truth!

Take her away!

Father!

I believe Pan Yu is innocent!

Please investigate!

Father, Father!

What are you doing?

I'm begging you

Let me see our lady for just a minute

What are you doing? No way!

Emperor's orders

No one is allowed inside

to visit Pan Yu.

Otherwise kill without exception. Leave now

No one sent me...

Leave now

Sister! You hang in there! Wait

Leave! If you keep acting this way,

I'll take you in too!

Take me!

Take me! Take me then!

She's saved so many people in the palace

Why won't you just let her go?

Let go

Yun Zhu, Yun Zhu

What are you doing? Calm down, Yun Zhu

Calm down? Sister will soon be beaten to death!

Get her out of here!

Leave!

Go!

You murderers!

Yun Zhu, here, are you ok?

I'm innocent! Don't touch me

Yun Zhu, let's go back first

I won't! I won't go back

I'm just going to sit here!

See what they can do to me!

You can't do much by sitting out here

You won't save Miss Yu

Then what do you propose?

You don't have the energy to fight them

Have you eaten yet?

At this time,

how could I be in the mood to eat?

This is where you're wrong

Don't you think

that once you're full, you'll have the energy to charge in

and save Miss Yu?

Yes!

I'm telling you!

I'm going back to eat now. When I'm done I'll be back to take care of you!

Right, let's go

Did we outsmart ourselves

and reveal a flaw?

The emperor is suspicious by nature

Although Ma Fu Ya looks very much like Mei Fei,

her sudden appearance in the plum blossom garden

easily draws suspicion from the Emperor.

The Ministry of Justice is known for its cruel punishments

We have to think of a way

to save Ma Fu Ya.

Niang Niang isn't afraid that girl will betray us?

She would never!

First, she is obstinate

The more she's beaten, the less she will talk.

Secondly, she's so filial

She knows that if she confesses,

her mother will suffer.

So....

for her to confess...is extremely difficult.

Don't worry

This girl won't die anytime soon

Why?

The emperor is suspicious by nature

He knows that if he kills Ma Fu Ya,

all the clues are gone.

With his personality,

without having

gotten to the bottom of this,

he will definitely not rest.

But, we don't know

what move the Emperor will make.

Looks like this play

will go on.

But this

Li Mu Yi can't know about.

If she finds out

her precious daughter is in trouble

and causes a commotion...this...

wouldn't be easy to handle.

Interesting! Really interesting

Niang Niang, have you

already seen the reason for all this?

Wan Er's gestures

have already ruined the crown prince's consort selection.

By palace rules

all the maidens will be sent out of the palace.

That slut named Han

impatiently made a move

but it backfired.

As long as that Pan Yu confesses,

Feng Yi palace is over!

Niang Niang

You should take this opportunity to approach the Emperor

and lead the clues toward Feng Yi palace.

The Emperor has always had a suspicious nature

If we

pour gasoline on the fire right now,

the Emperor will suspect us of sowing discord.

Then won't we fall

into that slut's trap?

Niang Niang is intelligent, considers thoroughly

But there's one thing I don't understand

The emperor loves that slut Mei so much,

and that Pan Yu

looks identical to her,

by my understanding of the Emperor

he would definitely not

so cold-heartedly

harm someone

who looks exactly like Mei Fei.

Darn!

Kang Zi said he'd find First Prince to discuss this

Why is he not back after so long?

Eat? You're in the mood to eat?

I'm storing up enough energy

to go save her!

To save her?

And you've tried to say it so nobly?

Ya Ya is suffering in prison

and you are pigging out, with food flying everywhere!

You...do you have any loyalty?

Exactly because I want to save Sister,

I'm stuffing myself with all my might!

Why don't you eat?

I.... You..... I....

It's over, it's over!

There's no way

Worst case...

there's only jail!

You can't

First Prince

Is there a way to save Ya Ya?

Even you don't have a way, what is there to do?

How can Ya Ya withstand interrogation by torture?

What if, to extract confessions...this...

It won't happen

Fu Ya is not that kind of person

I believe her

Yes

My precious baby is obstinate

...so obstinate that she wouldn't say anything to safe her life.

That worries me!

Just think

of these torture devices

thrown on, back and forth.

How will she stand it?

That's more unbearable than death

No way

I have to save her

Wait

You can't even visit her right now,

not to mention break in.

Why not?

I'll go if you're scared to go

Ya Ya misjudged you, you greedy coward!

Hua Gong Gong!

Right now, we can only save Fu Ya's life by restraining ourselves

How?

Just think

Imperial Father caused such a commotion over imprisoning her,

his goal was to lure the snake from its hole.

Otherwise Yun Zhu would have been punished for wreaking havoc at the prison.

Would she still be alive?

You mean

the Emperor has already sent someone

to spy on us?

Exactly

But now Ya Ya is in mortal danger

Even if the Emperor sent someone to spy on us,

we can't helplessly

watch my precious baby

being tortured in prison!

I'm worried too

So the most important thing now

is to first understand

Fu Ya's situation in the prison.

Then we can think of a countermeasure.

That's where the difficulty lies

We can't even get in right now!

No matter what,

we have to get inside!

How dare you!

Block crown prince's path!

Please forgive me Crown Prince

I am only...Shut up!

You won't let me in? Fine

Immediately release Pan Yu!

Otherwise I will punish you for disobedience!

Move aside!

Crown Prince, Your Highness Crown Prince!

Your Highness Crown Prince!

Your Highness Crown Prince, please do not make your humble servant's job difficult

Emperor's orders, no one is allowed to visit

You...should head back.

Crown Prince!

If the sky falls, the Crown Prince will support it

Immediately release Pan Yu

or I will behead you!

Does the Crown Prince think his words would be any use?

This child is too stupid, he's interfering with our plans.

Move aside!

Crown Prince!

Move aside!

Qi Xing, you're crazy

You dare cause trouble at the prison, you don't want to live anymore?

But they imprisoned Sister Yu!

Can you save Pan Yu by killing them?

Let me tell you

Not only will you not save her,

you will personally dig her a deeper grave!

Bewitching the Crown Prince

into rebelling against the Emperor

is enough for immediate execution!

I....

Go back with me

Stop hanging around here

lest you also suffer a calamity! Go

Let go!

But Sister Yu

is still being tortured inside!

She deserves it

Who told her to carelessly

offend the Emperor? Go!

Sister Yu! Let's go

I'll get Imperial Mother to save you!

Please give me some food!

I haven't eaten in days

What are you doing? You devil!

I'm so hungry!

Give me some food!

Oh my god!

Oh no! Oh no!

Who in the. . . ?

Who tormented you like this?

A man?

What are you doing?

Big brother,

sorry, sorry

To big brother, sorry

Several days ago,

his child died in this prison.

He's taken it hard, and lost his mind

Right, we came to deliver prison food

Didn't think he would act up again.

Stop your craziness

Go go go

Time to eat

Bring out the prisoners

Don't look

Here

Where's Ya Ya?

Let's go

This...where is this?

This is the cold palace for imprisoning

family members with crimes.

Let's go

Be careful

Maiden Pan

If the Emperor hadn't ordered

that someone take the beatings for you in prison,

do you think you would be safe and sound?

You better confess!

Who instructed you to enter the palace?

Pan Yu

was selected by the family affairs division.

I was not instructed by anyone.

Seems like without torture,

you won't tell the truth. Come!

Here!

Maiden!

You haven't picked up your prison food yet!

How dare you! Where did you come from?

Where are we from?

Emperor arrives

Your subject greets the Emperor

Greetings Emperor

Presumptuous!

No kneeling before the Emperor?

Pan Yu does not kneel before unvirtuous, confused people

How dare you!

You're saying I am unvirtuous and confused?

If the Emperor had virtue,

why would he let innocent people

take beatings for Pan Yu?

If the Emperor weren't confused,

why would he falsely accuse Pan Yu

of collaborating

in a sinister plot?

Get up

Who's been here?

Replying to Emperor,

other than Miss Pan's maid

and the crown prince

creating disturbances outside the prison,

no one has been here.

Seems like your co-conspirators

can keep their cool.

Pan Yu does not have any co-conspirators

Emperor, please investigate

Fine, until you confess

I will keep you here.

See what's greater, your moral character,

or my patience.

Emperor! Emperor!

Get the imperial doctor!

Help save the emperor!

Emperor!

Emperor has been poisoned

Don't need you to worry

We've already sent for the imperial doctor

Emperor has been poisoned by a bug

By the time the doctor arrives,

the Emperor will be dead!

Quickly, get some boy's urine

Where can I find boys' urine?

No boys' urine...

Urine of older men will work too

Let's get some from that older gentleman

Quickly give some!

The Emperor was poisoned by a bug

This spider venom enters the blood,

causes difficulty breathing,

heart failure and eventually death.

Emperor surviving this

is truly a lucky sign from the heavens,

the heavens protecting Shu Kingdom.

Do you think this is a coincidence,

or is someone intentionally trying to harm me?

Father, that place

has always been dark and damp,

with bugs and ants everywhere.

Besides,

using a spider to harm you

is more than difficult.

I think you're overly suspicious

True

Father was blessed by the heavens

to be rescued by a skilled individual.

Otherwise,

the outcome would be unthinkable.

In the prison,

who so skillfully saved me?

Replying to Emperor, it was Pan Yu

Her?

This girl has extreme audacity

She dared drip urine on Emperor's head!

Brilliant!

What did you say?

I believe this method was used well

Urine can detoxify and reduce swelling

and can be obtained easily.

Had I been present in this urgent situation,

I would have never thought of

such an easy and effective

solution.

You praising her to the heavens...

What gains has she given you?

I was going to ask the Emperor

to charge her with the crime of deceiving a monarch.

Shut your mouth!

Father,

this happened so quickly. It was a last resort.

After all, it was Yu Er

who cured your illness.

How could you kill your savior?

Fine, tell her to come see me.

I thought you didn't kneel before unvirtuous, confused rulers?

Why are you kneeling now?

Second Prince and Pan Yu

are friends.

Pan Yu trusts Second Prince's words

The Emperor must be able to distinguish between right and wrong

Please return justice to Pan Yu.

You think that by naming him,

I'll believe you?

Believe or not, that's up to the Emperor

Pan Yu only asks for a clear conscience

Clear conscience?

I think your goal in curing me

is to atone for crimes by redeeming yourself...to win my favor.

Medicine is kind

How could I see someone in danger and not save him?

Although the Emperor is noble,

but in Pan Yu's eyes

he is the same as ordinary commoners,

with only one life.

How dare you!

The Emperor's status is so honorable

You dare

compare him to ordinary commoners?

Since ancient times, how many emperors

were born among the common people?

Although they become noble emperors,

they never forgot

that the people are more important than the king.

Father,

Yu er and I have known each other for a while

Besides, she speaks bluntly

I believe she definitely

did not mean to offend Father.

This I can promise

Yun Er, the human heart is unpredictable

You trust

people in this palace too much.

I only trust my eyes

I also trust...

that these are the workings of Mother's spirit,

sending Yu Er to be beside me.

Although she looks like your mother,

but her arrogance...

How could she compare to your mother?

You think that because you look similar to Mei Fei,

I will treat you differently?

Pan Yu

never wanted anyone

to view me as Lady Mei Fei.

I just naturally look like her

Is that Pan Yu's fault?

Emperor is a wise monarch

For my appearance,

would you charge me

with plotting a conspiracy?

So clever and eloquent

Fine

Since I have no

evidence of your guilt,

and you've treated my poison,

I will reward you.

Tell me, what do you want?

No credit deserves no compensation. Besides,

Pan Yu has not fully cured

the Emperor's bug poison.

I dare not take credit

What?

You're saying

the bug poison on my father's body

has can been eradicated yet?

This poison is highly toxic

Whether or not he can stay alive

will depend on tonight.

Father, Father

Maiden Yu

My father has a fever

and is unconscious.

What can we do?

Do you have any ideas?

I need silver needles for acupuncture

to help the Emperor eliminate the poison.

You want to use needles on the Emperor?

If I wanted to harm the Emperor,

at the prison

I wouldn't save him.

He would have died there and then.

Zhao Gong Gong

Listen to her instructions

Quickly get the needles

Yes

I also need a writing brush and ink

to write the Emperor a prescription.

Brush and ink!

Yes

Maiden Yu, this way please

Maiden Yu, the needles are here

Quickly give this prescription to the imperial doctors' office

Prepare it for the Emperor

Second Prince, help me

Ok

Take out your hand

Mei Er, don't leave me

Mei Er

Don't go, don't leave me

Emperor

Don't move around, the needles will move

Mei Er, don't leave me

Emperor! Father!

Don't leave me

Fine, I won't leave

Don't move around

Don't leave me

It's done!

Emperor's awake

Great, the fever's gone

You...

Don't say anything

And don't move around

Darn it

I fell asleep watching the fire

Fortunately the medicine didn't dry out

How is the Emperor?

The hard part's over

Great

The heavens have protected the Emperor from harm

It's a great happiness!

Don't talk so much

Quickly feed him the medicine

Where was this medicine prepared?

It was Maiden Yu's prescription

I brewed it myself in the palace

If the Emperor is worried,

Servant can try it first.

Gong Gong doesn't need to try

If I wanted to poison him,

you wouldn't be able to tell.

Since the Emperor doesn't trust me,

just throw it out.

Why bother?

Come back

I didn't say I wouldn't drink it

The Emperor trusts me?

If you wanted to harm me,

you had plenty of chances last night.

Why bother saving me?

Yes

Maiden Yu treated Emperor's illness wholeheartedly,

watching over you for more than 10 hours.

Even Second Prince couldn't endure it

and went to rest in the side chamber.

Maiden Yu still insisted on watching over

Don't say anymore

The medicine will get cold

You're a kind doctor

Do kind doctors

treat patients this way?

Because I've always been misunderstood,

Pan Yu is not in a good mood.

Please forgive me

I'm sick. I'm not in a good mood either

Please be magnanimous and tolerate me

What?

Emperor is very much like my father

Displays temper whenever he's sick

Emperor, please use some medicine

Help me prop him up

Why does Emperor look at me this way?

Do you still think

I have other intentions?

No

I suddenly thought of Mei Fei

Mei Fei was once like this too,

feeding me medicine.
