How do u intend to save the supreme commander?

I will give u the khitan army to use as your own

All one hundred thousand soldiers of khitan army?

Once u eliminated all of your opposition in pyongyang.

you can raise to supreme commander again.

Blasted basterd !!

-What are u trying to do? -Quiet!!

khitan army belongs to Tang.

you dare suggest I invite the tang to strike pyongyang?

You can accept the offer or sit and wait for death.

what do you have to gain by helping us?

khitan will have Yangzhou territory

-Yingzhou? -Thats right.

We had joined the Tang expedition agains Goguryeo.

because we were promised ownership of Yingzhou.

If you could accept my offer khitan will have yingzhou

and you will have Goguryeo

Goguryeo?

-I will have Goguryeon? -Yes

and if u desire,

-you could even rise to the thron. -silence!!

you want me to sell my country

to the enemy to justify my ambitions?

Tang will eventually conquer goguryeo.

-whether u live or die. -What?

you would have died for nothing if you let them kill u now.

I would rather die now

than invite the enemy to ruin my country!

I could hold back a lot of things,

but I could never hold my tears..

so many enemies

and I have no one to turn to for help

the supreme commander is second only to the king

I had no idea such exalted position

could be so lonely and vulnerable.

about the Tang spy.

-Perhaps u should rethink his offer -its not worth a thought!

I will not join hands with our biggest enemy!

Play the eney off of eacher other

use the Tang army to destroy

the villainous retainers in pyongyang

But Tang china was my fathers life long enemy

how am I soppose to face my father in the next world?

I`m not advising u to join hands with Tang.

I`m advising u to use Tang

until your power is restored

your late father killed King Yeongnyu

and hundreds of royal retainers

At the time people mocked him.

and called him a treasonous subject.

But he protected Goguryeo from

numerouse foreign invasions subsequent to that event.

and now he remain a hero in the hearts of the people.

The current government will never stad up to Tang.

and if we continue to stoop to Tang

Goguryeon will eventually crumble.

if u want peace prepare for war.

peace is achived through strenght.

Excellency,you can do this.

you must recapture our governing power at all cost.

That`s the only way to keep goguryeon from crumbling

(Ansi Fort)

Namseng is calling in Tang army?

Yes, General

(Anhak Palace,Pyongyang)

It`s been a weekssince the royal order was issude,

but general Yang Manchun has yet to arredt Namseng.

Your Majesty,

I bid you to issue another order

Noncompliance will be proof that at Yang Manchun

is also a treasonous offical who is support of Namseng.

General Yang Manchun would never defy the royal command

I`m sure there`s a reason for the delay,

so be patient.

Your Majesty, this has caused great public confusion

Capturing Yeon Namseng is

the only way to restore stability.

I understand...I understand...

-Your Grace, may I come in? -Enter

-Any news from Ansi Fort? -No, Your Grace...

How about captain Dae Joyoung?

did you hear anything about him?

Nothing your Grace.

General Yang assumed a great risk.

and accepted your proposal.

if you dont pull throught,

entire Liaodong could be accused of treason.

-Are you up to it? -I want to try, Father.

Be very carefull.

Yeon Namseng is not to be taken lightly.

I wont forget the, father

I must have a word with you.

A young woman came looking for you not long ago.

I didn`t know what your relationship was,

so I had her wait for you.

I`ll take you to hernow.

No, I cant see her right now

Please tell her to go back home for me.

She desperatly longing to see you.

No, Just sen her back. Please,

He says he cannot see you right now

you should just return home.

Well then

(Chang`an)

What?

Xue Rengui brought back Namseng`s letter of surrender?

it`s a request for our military assistance,Your Majesty

Yeon Gaesomun is dead

so his son Yeon Namseng is now

the supreme commander of goguryeo.

the head of goguryeo military has towered his head to us for help.

if this isn`t surrender what is?

General Xue has accomplished a monumental task!

A task that an army of one million had failed to accomplish!

that`s right,

we almost kiled the most faithful retainer

of all times with our own hands.

Isn`t that right,General Li jing?

So where is Xue rengui now?

He is staying at an inn outside the city.

Whatever do you mean?

The man who deserves the royal treatment

is staying at a humble inn?

have him enter the palace immediately.

Yes,Majesty

your Highness!

I can imagien how difficult things must have been for you away from home.

it`s you infinite virtue that kept me stron.

Now,tell me how you plan to collaborate.

with namseng to destroy Pyongyang fort.

Yes, your Highness.

there`s a trusted man name Li Kaigu in the Khitan tribe.

he will converge with yeon Namseng at Guknae Fort.

and march to Ogoi fort in the southern region of goguryeo.

-Ogo!Fort? -Yes,your Highness.

Once they have captured ogoi,

we will deploy our navy to Ogoi beach

I see, and?

If we secure our base at Ogoi Fort to form an alliance

with Namseng and launch our operation.

capturing Pyongyang will be a walk in the park!

I hope this man Namseng comes through for us

with Namseng in our hands,

goguryeo is already half ours Your Highness

yes I agree

At last you will deliver retribution

that we have long for

I could never have done anything

if it were not for your trust in me

General...

Sir,General Li Jing would like to see you

General Li Jing?

tell him I`m busy

But he`s right outside waiting for you

Why is he bothering me?

this goes to show how popular you are now

Popular?Yeah, right.

What do you think? Should I be nice?

Why not, sir.

It still makes my blood boil!

when I think about how he beat us up.

I cant still feel the pain!

Let`s see if he can still treat me like dirt.

What do you want to talk about?

I`d would like us to make amends.

Make amends? did you say make amends?

I never intended to cause you so much pain

Wipe away any hard feelings you have for me

I dont know

I`m such a petty small hearted man..

I know how you feel.

you must be so angry and resentful.

but if you can see if for a second from my shoes,

I`m sure you can find it in you heart to accept my apology

You`re the chief of Tang military.

Why the apology when it it won`t

hurt you any to just ignor me?

All of my comrades in arms hve passed away

Emperor Taizong,Zhang Wuji and even Pan Xiaotai...

I should`ve also died along time ago

But fate has kept me alive.

I`ve asked myself

Why am I still alive when even Yeon Gaesomun is dead?

and I finally know the answer.

it`s the will of heaven that I destroy Goguryeo!

But I can`t do this alone

that`s why I`m here

Help me just this once.

I`m a powerless man

how can I possibly help you?

I`m a veteran who has fight over one hundred battles.

All I nees is Xue Rengui`s ambitious spirit,

and I am certain that

I can bring Goguryeon down this time

Then I have a request as well

Go on.

I really intend to fight with everything I`ve got this time

and I want you to back me up in earnest and wholeheartedly.

Don`t be cheap like you`ve always been.

Give me your full support.

can you do that.

you have all of the power and authority that I do

This is it, general

I will lead the vanguard and

bring Goguryeo down once and for all!
