Dr. Cutie

Episode 15

Please accept my greetings, Madame Ji.

Let me see your face.

Yes, Madame.

Madame Ji asked me here...

Does she regret letting me go?

Does she want to kill me again?

You look pretty handsome.

You need some good rest as you're just recovered.

I have some nourishment.

Someone will send them to your room later.

Thank you, madame.

You can rise.

Yes, madame.

Madame, I'd better kneel down.

It's comfortable.

The disease came out of nowhere

and was quite severe.

It's really scary.

I heard that even Marquis Marvel

had taken care of you himself

for the whole night.

Other people say

the friendship between Marquis Marvel and you

is really deep.

Madame,

his lordship asked me to get medicine a while ago.

I happened to be ill when he came to take it.

His lordship had no such deep friendship with me.

But he has a heart of chivalry,

and pities me for being ill.

No wonder.

Tian Qi,

you worked for the Imperial Medical Academy.

You know the rules.

Be careful with your words and behaviors,

understand?

Yes, madame.

You'll work for General J from now on.

Thank you, madame.

Please trust me.

I'll definitely take good care of his lordship.

I won't let you

and his lordship down.

You can leave now.

Yes, madame.

Tian Qi does look handsome.

If, as Hermit Yuyang says,

he can protect my son from disaster.

His safety is extremely important then.

Chen Wuyong,

you must keep him safe.

You'd better assign him some bodyguards in the mansion.

Yes, madame.

Madame, do you really believe

Hermit Yuyang's words?

If Dr. Tian stay with General J

and bring him disaster.

What can we do then?

Enough, don't talk about this.

Whether he will do good or harm to my son,

we can wait and see.

I have my own judgment.

You just need to protect him for me.

Don't hurt him

without my orders, understood?

Yes, madame.

You may leave.

My lord, Dr. Tian has recovered.

He can start to serve you today.

General J,

I...

I can finally come back

and take care of you.

Do you know that?

I didn't sleep the whole night.

I've been looking forward to

return to serve you, my lord.

It seems like I over-reacted.

You may rise now.

Did Madame ask to see you?

My lord.

My lord, you are a prophet.

Just before I came here,

Madame asked to see me.

What did she say to you?

Madame...

Madame told me to take good care of you

and she said...

she told me to take care of myself.

Madame seemed really care about me.

That does seem to work.

My lord, did you invite Hermit Yuyang

to come and save me?

Don't ask too much.

Only a fool can live long.

You should thank his lordship.

My lord, you know what?

When I was sick and dying,

at the thought of not being able to serve you

it broke my heart.

These few days,

I can't stop thinking about you

night or day.

You even came to see me,

I am truly blessed.

I want to take care of you

for now and forever.

You're quite

an eloquent man.

Why don't you become a storyteller?

I would never.

If so, how can I take care of you?

Why are you two so useless?

He's a living man.

Is it so hard to find out

his name, address and background?

Young master,

we've asked it all over town.

We just know that

he was close to Marquis Marvel.

We really didn't find

anything else.

Trash. Useless trash.

How can I revenge without finding him?

Get out.

- My lord. - My lord.

Dad.

What's the matter?

Why did you lose temper again?

How can I not be angry?

If it wasn't for that bastard,

I wouldn't lose face in front of the whole town.

He was very close to Ji Zheng.

I'm sure this is related to Family Ji.

Ji Heng,

he thinks he has his majesty's trust.

So he can manage regional politics

and military affairs.

He really thinks nobody won't dare to mess with him.

I don't believe that

he's unbeatable.

Dad, is that true?

Of course it's true.

Let's wait and see.

My lord, Dr. Tian is here.

Alright, you can go back now.

- I'm fine here. - Yes, my lord.

Zheng, you let Xu Jing to call me here.

What's up?

Take this, Qi.

Why do you give me the jade?

This is more than just a jade.

If you hold it,

it means you're my man.

If afterwards you're in danger,

show them this jade

to scare them off.

In this way,

I'll have time to save you.

Zheng, this jade is too valuable.

I can't take it.

- Take it. - No.

- Take it. - No.

I've been through

a lot of danger

during these years of traveling.

But when you were in danger,

it was the first time

I got scared.

Qi,

I don't want to lose

anyone important to me.

Take it as if it were for my peace of mind.

I'm feeling guilty.

You've been helping me all the time.

I don't have the chance

to pay you back.

Qi, your existence

means so much to me.

You're like a gift to me, given by god.

I feel truly happy

when I'm with you.

So take it as if

it were for myself.

Alright.

I hope we'll never use it.

I hope both of us will be safe.

You...

You don't have to take this jade too seriously.

I haven't been back for a while.

It' has changed quite a lot here.

You know this place well, right?

Why don't you show me around?

Sure, consider it my gratitude for your gift.

Sure, let's go.

There are plenty of good places here.

Look over there.

My lord, why are you upset?

There have been droughts this year

that have led to poor harvests.

If we want to raise taxes,

people will suffer.

If we want to reduce taxes

without owing the court anything,

some people

can't get away easily.

My lord, do you want

to start with the nobles

headed by Sun Congrui?

I'll find a way to

force the Sun Family

to pay their share of tariff

and business taxes

to reduce the burden of the public.

But I guess Sun Congrui and his people

won't obey the order.

Speaking of Sun Congrui,

have you found out the reason

why he accused Zheng?

This...

Say it.

My lord,

scouts brought news.

There's no one close to Marquis Marvel in particular.

So the rumor came out of nowhere?

Not exactly though.

As far as I knew,

Marquis Marvel is really close

to a man.

But the man's identity is special.

I'm not sure

about the relationship between them.

What do you mean?

Who is this person?

Speaking of this man,

you know him as well.

He is Dr. Tian.

- Tian Qi? - Yes.

Where is he? I want to see him right now.

Dr. Tian went out of the mansion.

What's more than that,

I just saw Marquis Marvel went out, too.

What?

Young master, we've been searching for days.

We can't find out who that man is.

And the Mansion Ji,

whether intentional or not,

seems to stop us from finding that man.

You're so useless.

Mr. Sun.

I just met the guy

that humiliated you the other day.

Where is he?

Don't worry, Mr. Sun.

I already sent someone to follow him.

Follow me. I'll lead you to him.

Go back to the mansion.

Gather all the guards.

Yes, I'm on it.

What are you looking for?

Why didn't I see anything interesting today?

What kind of interesting things?

Something the general will be happy to see.

Something funny to cheer him up.

So it wasn't for me.

If you want something,

I can find it for you too.

Everybody take a look.

Newly released pictures of General J,

I have all kinds of them.

All the latest pictures of General J.

Thank you, miss.

This one is for you, thank you.

- Please come again. - Let's go.

Take a look, young men.

I've got all the latest pictures.

Look at this one, mister.

This is gorgeous and attractive type.

Look over here.

Muscular and masculine.

This one is chivalrous and gallant type.

How's that?

Which one do you want, mister?

Are all these pictures General J?

Of course, they are.

Have you see him before?

You draw him like this.

I haven't.

You have seen him ?

I...

Fine.

Miss, this is General J's latest pictures.

How about this one?

Is this General J?

The newly released version.

- Then I'll take this one. - Sure.

Excuse me, I want one too.

You take this one.

This one is the best.

Please come again.

Look at this.

The latest portrait of General J.

My lord.

Marquis Marvel and Dr. Tian are there.

It's really like the rumor.

All the girls in this town want to marry my brother.

What do you think?

Me?

I think General J is the most honorable man.

So I'm not surprise

that so many girls like him.

Besides his position,

he is also good-looking and well-formed.

He can be enjoyed just by standing there.

If girls don't like him,

they're not normal.

You're a girl too. What do you think?

I am now a man.

I don't want to think about that.

- Let's go over there and have a look. - Careful!

Watch out when you're walking!

My lord,

how can they hold hands in the street?

Do they...

thank you

Watch out!

There are many vehicles here.

I'd better hold your hands.

My lord, please don't.

We're men.

- Others will laugh at us. - Let's go.

I can dance for you, too.

Do I dance like her?

Yes.

- Thank you. - Good.

The next dance is worth watching, very refreshing.

Have you seen it?

Of course. I'm sure you'll like it.

Cheers.

You can't watch this.

Didn't you bring me here?

It's not for you.

This dance is really refreshing.

So different.

Not bad.

Good.

It's not what I saw the other day.

If I knew that,

I wouldn't bring you here.

This is not my type, okay?

Her waist is so thin.

Her legs are really long.

Good, good.

Not bad.

You're a girl.

but you're bolder than me.

That's good. That's good

Good.

Nice dance.

- My lord. - Brother.

You.

- Sheng Anhuai. - I'm here.

Take Zheng out.

I have something to

say to Tian Qi, privately.

Brother, we're just friends.

You can't believe the rumors out there.

You should trust me.

My lord,

we'd better wait outside.

The General knows what to do.

- Brother. - Get out.

My lord, what are you doing here?

You must remember

you are a doctor.

Zheng is the son of a noble family.

Are you shameless?

How could you bring him to

this kind of place to see dancing?

My lord.

This is my bad.

But...

Why the men in other noble families

can come and see,

but but not Marquis Marvel and me?

We're an inclusive people.

Besides, I didn't

ruin Marquis Marvel's reputation.

I don't care about others.

But Zheng is my brother,

You can't get close to him.

You two hold hands in the street.

How will others think of you?

They'll think you two are...

General J is so angry.

Does he think Marquis Marvel and I...

That's so wrong!

My lord, I know my mistake.

Please forgive me.

I shouldn't come here with Marquis Marvel

to see erotic dance.

But I'm...

I'm horny.

And when I see beautiful woman dancing,

I can't stop myself.

This is all my fault.

Wipe your mouth.

Disgusting.

You're horny?

You forgot that

I bought you

those pornographs.

By the way,

I have the special collection at home.

The pile is almost as tall as you.

Do I really misunderstand them?

Perhaps Zheng is just

curious about

what Tian Qi likes.

That's why he's close to Tian Qi.

They're not like the way Lord Sun said.

My lord.

You're really vulgar and nasty.

Back to the mansion.

Yes, my lord. You're all right.

You're the god.

My lord.

Brother.

Don't ever come to such place.

Brother.

It's alright.

My lord.

My lord, you seldom come out of the mansion.

Let me introduce you

the interesting things in town.

I'm not interested.

What you think interesting

is either to buy a vulgar book

or go to...

go to that w... house.

I need to let you believe me

that I'm a real man.

Just let me show you

something interesting.

Take a look.

Look, that's a sideshow.

It's famous and rare.

Did you see that?

Here comes this camel.

The man on the camel is a merchant

from the west.

They have loads of strange things.

And the camel,

I hear it can walk for days in the desert

without food and drinks.

Speaking of this, my lord.

Once I was out

to gather herbs,

but I got lost.

I haven't eaten or drunk for days.

I almost died.

And guess what?

After that, I ate insects, herbs,

barks and roots.

I ate all those nasty things

and survived.

It was so hard.

I've heard you have lived a hard life.

I didn't expect this.

You always act heartless.

I can't imagine

you've been through this.

The old days were too hard.

Every day I live now,

I think it's super sweet.

But I can't compete with you,

you are the god of war.

You've experienced a lot.

Actually,

the first time I went to war,

I was scared as well.

The rumor says you're the devil on the battlefield.

No one was born to be determined.

I'm not.

You're not, either, Tian Qi.

If someone bullies you,

remember that you're my man,

and I'm your shield.

Thank you, my lord.

Let me see what else I can show you.

There he is.

Stop.

Stop.

Get off.

You ran into this yourself.

How dare you?

Do you know who is in the carriage?

I don't care who's in your carriage.

Someone I want is in there?

He has to get off.

My lord, he sounds like

Lord Sun Congrui's son.

Really? I've been out on the battlefield for years.

I haven't seen him before.

My lord, you'd better stay here quietly.

I'll check it out and be right back.

Young master Sun, how are you?

I really don't know

what can I do for you.

Maybe you had feelings for me

from that day's streaking?

And you want to compete with me again

to recall the fellings?

Take him away.

Impudence!

He's my man.

Who dares take him away?

You changed a lover?

You...

I remember you go in and out together with

Marquis Marvel.

You...

Are you Marquis Marvel's lover too?

I'll give you a chance

to leave with your men immediately.

Then I can forgive you.

- Are you joking? - Take them away.

Don't disturb the residents.

I know, my lord.

Let's go.

Are you the man

that teased him and made him streak?

We bet and he lost.

Zheng was there too.

Do you hang out with Zheng a lot?

I...My bad.

Look at your sweat.

It makes me annoyed.

Wipe your sweat away.

Where's my handkerchief?

Don't tell me

you sold it!

How is it possible?

How can I sell

the thing you gave me?

You'd better not lie to me.

Please trust me, see.

Here it is.

I carry it with me.

I'll keep it good as new.

Now you have it,

why don't you use it?

How can I use it?

This is given by you.

I'm gonna take good care of it.

I'll give it to the girl I like.

You.

You kid.

How dare you poison me?

Dr. Tian.

Help, Dr. Tian.

What's going on?

He is my brother.

He got paid for work last night,

and went out drinking with his friends.

He came back sick and began to vomit.

It hasn't gotten better yet.

Don't worry.

Go inside and put him down! Hurry!

Tian Qi, he still has a fever.

Tian Qi.

Tian Qi.

Miss Kang, Tian Qi is here.

He's seeing a patient now.

Tian Qi, I'm injured.

Check it for me, it's painful.

Miss Kang, Tian Qi is busy now.

I'm a doctor, too.

How about I check that for you?

No, I want Tian Qi to do this.

Miss Kang, the patient is in critical condition.

I'll cure him first.

Please take a seat. I'll check on you later.

Why should I wait for you?

I'm a master of Mansion Ji.

You are a doctor of Mansion Ji.

You want me to wait

after a servant?

You're right, Miss Kang.

You're absolutely right.

- How about... - Shut up!

Miss Kang, shall we go back first?

I can help you with that cut.

It's none of your business.

Bring me some ginger water with brown sugar.

Add more ginger.

Sure, I'll go right now.

Don't you like money? I'll give you all of them.

Help me see my wound first.

Miss Kang.

Human life is priority.

It's not about money.

If you'd like to wait,

please wait here.

Leave here if you don't want to.

Teacher, get me some medicine.

Chenpi, Gouqi, Cangshu, Baizhi,

licorice extract and basil leaf oil.

Alright, you all bully me.

Of course not.

Tian Qi, I won't forgive you for this.

Miss Kang. Miss Kang.

Miss Kang, you misunderstood him.

You're done, Tian Qi.

This time,

you made an enemy of Miss Kang.

Teacher, we should prioritize human life.

I have no choice.

Yeah, you're right.

- But... - Teacher.

Do you remember them?

Of course.

At least I'm a doctor, right?

Hurry up.

- Chenpi. - Yes.

Aunt, just because I'm not from Mansion Ji.

I'm just living here,

they all look down on me.

Nonsense. I'm here.

Who dares to look down upon you?

Tianqi,

he embarrassed me

in front of a lot of people today.

Fine.

I knew what happened today.

Tian Qi has his faults.

But

Ning'er,

if you want to marry in Mansion Ji.

Your should change

this spoiled temper.

You need to learn to be generous.

Otherwise how can you

manage this big family?

Auntie.

Besides, you know

your cousin's temper.

If he knew what happened today.

Do you think he'll help you or blame you?

Yes, I know.

Go back and think about it.

Chun Hua.

Go back and put some medicine on her hand.

Yes, madame.

You may go now.

- Yes, madame. - Goodbye, auntie.

Miss Kang has never been treated like this.

She's spoiled.

But this Tian Qi,

he's become arrogant now.

Keep an eye on him for me.

If there's something wrong,

tell me immediately.

Yes, madame.

This time,

Dr. Tian totally offended Miss Kang.

I didn't expect Tian Qi

would refuse

all those money.

By the way,

how is the servant now?

Dr. Tian is indeed

skilled in medicine.

The servant was dying already.

But then,

after taking Dr. Tian's medicine,

he's recovered.

Move away.

Be careful.

Wait a minute.

Thank you.

Tomorrow morning,

tell Tian Qi and Zheng to come.

Yes, my lord.

Why did General J call me this early

without saying a word?

Just tell me to wait here.

No wonder how he's going to

torture me again.

Is this because of Miss Kang?

Morning, brother.

I asked you here because

I have something to discuss with you.

What's the matter?

Mother worries that you are old enough

but haven't got married.

I thought about it. That's true.

It's a big issue.

I thought about it carefully.

I think Lord Feng's first daughter

is knowledgeable and talented.

She's also virtuous.

A perfect match for you.

What do you think?

I think

such a knowledgeable, talented

and virtuous girl

should be my sister-in-law.

Then she can help brother

manage the Mansion Ji properly

and ease your worries.

What's going on here?

Sounds like you don't

like knowledgeable girls.

How about

the imperial assistant,

Ju Ming's daughter.

I heard she grew up on horseback.

Her horse-riding, archery and martial arts

are as good as a man.

Good in art and physical matters.

I'm sure you will like her.

You may meet her and see.

With your introduction,

I think this girl fits you as well.

Why don't you see her first?

Zheng,

why you don't like

these two girls?

You can just tell me.

Brother, I should not refuse you.

But I'm like putrid grass in the mud,

not worthy of them.

Tian Qi,

what's your opinion?

I...

What do you want me to say?

You heard my discussion with Zheng.

Who do you think

is better to be Zheng's wife?

This is none of my business.

Marquis Marvel and General J

are both transcendent.

I think,

ordinary women

don't deserve to be your wife.

Don't flatter us.

Tell me frankly.

Who should Zheng marry?

Dr. Tian, don't worry.

Just say what you think.

Can I really tell you the truth?

Go ahead.

You have to promise me that

you won't punish me.

There's nothing to negotiate.

If you don't say,

I'll punish you now.

Alright, I'll tell me.

The truth is

Marquis Marvel can marry whoever he likes.

Why ask me? I'm just a doctor.

I can't substitute him.

This is your personal affairs.

What does this have to do with me?

Punish me if you want. That's my answer.

Who says I'm going to punish you?

In your eyes,

am I just a bully?

Zheng, about who you should marry

I'll find you someone else.

You two may leave.

Brother, I...

Leave.

I'll leave too.

My lord!

Actually,

General J asked you these

because...

It's because someone gossiped about us.

They said we were so close

and they also said

I seduced you.

So General J want to let you marry.

That's good for you.

What are you laughing at?

They said you seduced me?

Did you do that?

I.

I.

I... How could that be possible?

I don't care what others say.

Qi, actually I...

Dr. Tian, General J wants to see you now.

I'll be right there.

My lord, I'll leave you from here.

It's just right that General J wants me.

What does Marquis Marvel

mean by that?

He doesn't mean he likes me, right?

He won't!

Forget it.

I'd better keep a distance with him.

My lord, Dr. Tian is here.

My lord.

What's the matter?

I want you to meet someone

to help Zheng clarify the misunderstanding.
