Dr. Cutie

Episode 09

Sun Congrui, I won't just let go of it!

I will take revenge!

You disgust me!

Go to hell!

Sun Congrui,

you're dead, you know?

Why would a girl like her

hate Sun Congrui so much?

What happend between them?

Brother, what favor

did Sun Congrui ask for this time?

This old bastard

colludes with profiteers and exploits common people.

Now he's even reaching to army provisions,

lets his son take advantage from it.

He's come across the line.

But the Sun Family

is also prosperous now.

We can't play hardball.

We should weaken them step by step.

I see.

By the way,

why did you come here to see me?

It's still about Madame Shu,

one thing keeps puzzling me:

She hardly went outside,

how could she get Deadly Cure?

Deadly Cure...

it shows up again,

I'm also not sure

if it had something to do with death of Dr. Shen.

But one thing

I am sure

is that there are her moles in our mansion.

I'm already working on this.

Verifying the identities

of all the servants in our mansion.

We must clean out

all the spies they arrange in our house.

How about Tian Qi's identity?

Dr. Tian...

He did pass the exam of General Medical Academy.

I also heard

a rumor:

For some reason,

he tried very hard to get into our mansion,

even refused to be an imperial doctor.

Except that,

what else did you find?

Nothing else.

Every time when Zheng's lying,

he will look away unconsciously.

I guess I should

test Tian Qi by myself.

Brother,

I heard you're going to suburb to train the soldiers.

Let me go with you.

No need.

I have another arrangement for you.

Another arrangement?

It seems

General J and Sun Congrui

are familiar with each other.

To deal with Sun Congrui,

I must earn General J's trust first.

What should I do to make him trust me？

My lord,

Why you are armed?

Are you going for war?

Not for war.

It's for military training in suburb.

Soldiers often get injured during training.

You go with me.

Well... I need my medical kit.

My lord, I must leave now.

Brother is suspecting Tian Qi.

He wants to test her.

If he knows Tian Qi is disguising as a male,

even though she has no bad intention,

he will kill her

to keep safety.

Why you keep staring at me?

You look gorgeous

in the armour.

And I've never been to training ground before,

I feel so safe beside you.

You're like a god of war.

Stop flattering,

it makes me sick in stomach.

My lord, are you ok?

I prepared some prunes,

want a try?

It's delicious and good for vomiting.

Keep it for yourself.

Once you close your mouth,

I'll stop feeling like vomiting.

Don't say that,

just have a try?

Take one bite.

Come on.

My... my lord.

Sorry, I am so sorry.

Let me clean it.

I'm so sorry.

I didn't mean to...

Tian Qi, stay away from me!

Stop.

My lord, lunch is ready.

Should we have lunch now?

OK.

Yes.

Lunch time. We have a break here.

How would he trust me?

He doesn't allow me near even when eating.

I...

Bad luck.

It's strange...

This place...

seems so familiar.

Here is...

Mommy.

Mommy.

Does it suit me?

Yes.

Mommy, sing for us please.

I want to hear you singing.

Okay. Take this.

Daddy.

You are really a good dancer.

I come here again.

But this time.

No flute.

No song.

No one tells me I am adorable.

Dad, mom.

I miss you so much...

So much...

- Let's have a walk. - OK.

General.

Amazing.

Finally, a girl can

draw our general's attention.

Tian Qi.

My lord.

You again.

Why is it always you?

Greetings, my lord.

Stand up.

Why are you here

singing alone?

I...I was not singing.

I was humming.

I...

I saw these charming flowers here,

and wanted to pick one to please your lordship.

I didn't expect that you will come here.

I...

I didn't notice you,

I was indulged in the good time.

Beg your mercy.

Well done, ass-kisser.

They are bald like this.

How could I be pleased by them?

You're just pleasing yourself.

My lord.

You know what?

I plucked off the petals intentionally.

Leave only stamen.

The flower's beauty

is all in her stamen.

The stamen is the heart.

Petals are seductive indeed,

but also enchanting.

The fragrance only comes out from stamen.

So when we look at a flower,

we should admire her stamen instead of petals.

What a quick wit.

Genius.

Though your words are simple,

they contain a wisdom.

It's a metaphor to describe people.

Don't judge anyone by his appearance.

What matters is the heart.

Is this what you mean?

Like flower,

like people.

My lord,

I ... I don't know about metaphor.

What I said

was to show my royalty to you.

I hope you like it.

Shameless.

How shameless he is.

You like the flower crown?

Okay. Keep wearing it.

My lord.

Stupid.

Don't get in.

Stay outside.

Let us admire your flower crown.

My lord.

Let's go.

There are 25 petals on your head.

Don't lose any of them.

Lose one petal, you get paddled ten strikes.

If you lose 5 petals,

there's an extra punishment.

When we arrive at the post house,

I will count them. Clear?

My lord.

Remember.

That's the deal. One petal,

ten strikes.

It's not a deal.

I did't say anything.

Any problem?

Of course no, my lord.

My lord.

My lord.

Go in to drink a cup of tea

Let me see, how many flowers left.

He really starts counting.

Is this the thing a general should do?

Twenty-two left. Three lost.

What did we say?

One petal, ten strikes.

My lord... You can punish me as you want.

But...

If I get injured seriously,

I won't be able to serve you.

You really want to serve me?

Then,

I'll save it to next time.

Make a round figure.

I can punish you with all the strikes one time.

What do you mean?

It's quicker to paddle you to death one time.

Thanks for your mercy.

Message from our spy,

Ji Heng is suspecting

Madame Shu's identity.

Should we defer

the assassination?

Stick to the plan.

But...

No but.

The suburb training

is a great opportunity.

Yes, sir.

My lord.

You are not going to let me bath you, right？

What?

You spilled water all over me today.

What's wrong with serving me to bath?

I didn't mean that.

I mean...

I mean...

I'm merely a doctor...

I can feel your pulse,

or write prescriptions.

I can do that.

But bathing you...

I really don't know how to do this.

Is bathing me

a shame to you?

No. No. No.

My lord.

I didn't mean that.

I'm afraid I can't serve you well,

and get you angry again.

I'll find someone else...

Stand there.

If you dare to leave, after the review of troop tomorrow

don't come back to Mansion Ji with us.

I was wrong.

Let me help you undress.

What are you waiting for?

Yes.

Well...I...

I...I...

Let me undress your trousers.

Why is he acting like this?

Is he...

S...sorry, my lord.

It's my fault.

Give me one more chance.

I promise

I'll undress you quickly.

No need. Get out.

I am leaving.

Thank god I got out.

If I see him naked,

it would be so embarrassing.

What a temper of him.

He gets furious so easily.

For no reason.

This guy.

What's wrong with him?

That guy

is like a woman.

This...

My lord, I won't follow in the carriage.

I don't want to disturb you.

Whatever.

Mr. Sheng, the scenery here is beautiful.

I read some novel before.

In a scene of forest like this,

whether ghosts haunt

or assassinations would happen.

What a jinx you are.

If there is an assassin,

I'll use you as a shield.

My lord, don't worry.

If anyone wants to kill you,

I am willing to die for you.

I will be your shield

without any hesitation.

Assassins! Protect general!

Holy crap! What a bad luck.

The thing about Infanta ShunCheng

didn't harm me.

So they won't just let it go.

Brother, you mean,

they will take the suburb training as an opportunity

to kill you?

Yes.

I want to draw the snake out of its hole.

So I need you to ambush.

Zheng, you came right on time.

Your prediction is right.

I just did what you told me.

Remember, keep one alive.

I see.

Go away. I'm not the person you want.

Don't move.

My lord, help me!

Brother.

Tian Qi.

Tian Qi.

Tian Qi.

Tian Qi.

Tian Qi, Tian Qi.

Protect general.

They have reinforcements. Run.

Tian Qi.

What can I help you?

I want the best doctor here.

My friend was injured badly.

Sorry.

Our doctor is outside the city.

Wait. I do know another excellent doctor.

But for some special reason,

she seldom visits patient outside.

Could you ask if she is willing to help?

Fine. I will ask her for you.

But I don't guarantee

she will say yes.

Thank you.

My lord... It's painful.

Where is the doctor?

Marquis Marvel is working on that.

Tian Qi. Do you trust me?

Yes.

I was shot by an arrow before.

I know how to staunch the blood

after pulling out the arrow.

Now I have to cut your cloth

for convenience.

Scissors.

My lord, let me do it.

I said that his life belongs to me.

He can't die without my permission.

It will never change.

No. If he cuts my cloth,

he will know I am a woman.

My lord, promise me.

If I go through this,

no matter what happens,

don't sentence me to death.

What are you talking about?

I'm saving your life.

How would I let you die?

Promise me or...

or...

Tian Qi.

My lord, if you want him dead,

go head.

Greetings, general.

Brother, she is a local doctor.

Dr. Ye Qianzi.

Dr. Ye is thought to be the best doctor here.

So I asked her to come.

How can a female doctor treat male patient?

As a doctor, I don't see any difference

between male and female,

all I see is just a patient.

As far as I'm concerned,

If you don't let me treat him now,

he will die in one hour.

Cure him. Save his life.

Or you will die too.

When I am treating,

I prefer to be alone with my patient.

Silly kid.

How could you end up like this?

General, Marquis Marvel.

Don't worry.

I heard it from the natives here,

Dr. Ye is an excellent doctor.

She's good as imperial doctors,

and she's good at curing injuries.

A while ago, a child was injured

with his right leg caught in a trap.

His leg was ulcerated,

after the treatment of Dr. Ye,

now the child can jump and run again.

Brother, it's right.

Dr. Ye is the best doctor in this area.

We should believe

that she will save Tian Qi.

Dr. Ye.

The arrow has been pulled out.

I've applied a special plaster on his wound.

If he won't have a fever tonight,

he would recover soon.

Please take good care of him these days.

Sheng Anhuai.

Take Dr. Ye to rest.

Yes. Dr. Ye, this way, please.

I knew you are a jinx. Your words came true.

You became my shield.

Now you regret it, don't you?

You ruined my plan to lure the snake out.

You'd better recover earlier.

If the doctor and I

hadn't arrived in time today.

Her identity as a girl

may have been discovered.

But Tian Qi is in a coma right now.

I'm really worried...

You are so quiet.

I'm not used to it.

Recover quickly.

I promise,

I won't punish you

for making noise around me.

Brother.

You need some rest.

The doctor said he is gonna be okay.

Let me look after him.

Thanks to you today,

You brought the doctor in time.

Otherwise, what would the consequence be?

By the way, the assassins...

We didn't catch them alive.

But this should not be hasty.

Live your life.

Dad, mom.

Tian Qi, what did you say?

General.

The patient has a fever now,

so it's normal he talks in his sleep.

He cannot hear what you say.

Thank you for your hard work these days.

It's my duty.

Go get some rest.

Let me take care of him.

No need.

It's hot here.

Ah, yes, yes.

My lord...

I am afraid

it will cost some days till he recovers.

But there are still many things

for you to handle in mansion.

Should we...

Tomorrow we leave for mansion.

Let Dr. Ye stay and take care of him.

Also, leave some men here to help.

Yes. I will arrange it.

By the way,

my lord,

it's getting late.

You should go to bed.

Let me take care of him.

No need. If he weren't there,

I would be the one lying here.

He saved my life.

It's reasonable for me to take care of him.

You go.

Yes. Then go on with your fan.

Dad, mom.

Don't leave me.

Don't leave me.

Okay.

I won't leave you.

I'm here with you.

You must recover quickly.

You're awake.

Auntie Hong.

How come it's you?

Silly girl,

why did you

give your life to save General J?

You forgot what you should do in Mansion Ji?

You...

How could you not cherish your life?

I... I really didn't mean to save him.

I tripped.

And then...

I remember...

he was going to cut my cloth.

Did he find out my identity as a woman?

He did.

Rest assure. I'm the one who pulled out your arrow.
